Poll: Roy Moore maintaining double-digit lead over opponent despite WaPo political hit piece

Justice Roy Moore
Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore
According to an Emerson College poll released late Sunday, former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore is maintaining a double-digit lead over Democratic opponent Doug Jones.

Moore is shown with the lead despite a report from The Washington Post last week that accused Moore of engaging in inappropriate conduct with four teenage girls decades ago.

The poll, conducted November 9-11, has Moore leading Jones by a 55 percent-to-45 percent margin, down from the 22-point lead Moore had in a poll Emerson conducted from September.

The poll also showed that only 28 percent of respondents were impacted by the Post's report.

Propaganda alert! Anti-Russia intelligence operation alleges Kremlin pushing fake Trump sex tapes

Comment: Get your hip waders on, folks! John Schindler, a former NSA operative, summarizes a wild collection of damning speculation below. Unfortunately for the intelligence community, it's more embarrassing to them than anyone else.

Attempting to get to the bottom of a complex espionage case, untangling multiple strands of secret agentry, is the most challenging exercise in all intelligence work. It taxes the minds of the most gifted counterspies, particularly when the operation extends over years, even decades, and it involves a complex cast of players, some of them Russian.

A half-century ago, when our Intelligence Community was assessing if there were Kremlin moles inside our spy agencies (spoiler: there were), a nasty bureaucratic fight ensued that dragged on for years. The protagonist was James Angleton, the CIA's top counterspy for two decades, who coined the term "wilderness of mirrors" to describe the impenetrable mystery of certain espionage operations. In typical Angletonian flourish, he borrowed the phrase from a T. S. Eliot poem to capture the enduring mystery of never quite grasping up from down in a case, or knowing who's really running the show-and looking at it too closely only leads to more confusion.

Trump's Asia visit was a huge success, China gave him the royal treatment

trump xi
Love, hate, war, peace, the good, the bad and the ugly? Let's see how Godfree Roberts' crystal ball performed last week.

The day before US President Donald Trump (DJT) arrived in Beijing, November 8-10, for meetings with Chinese president Xi Jinping (XJP), I had Dr. Godfree Roberts on the China Rising Radio Sinoland show to make his predictions about what would transpire. Godfree made two bold statements, one about Sino-American relations and the other about Korea. For the former, to paraphrase, Godfree said,
Xi understands that Trump needs a crowd pleasing victory back home and will deliver on that goal. China will use its very successful millennial tributary system to help Trump bring home the bacon, and DJT will tacitly integrate his presidency into this ancient diplomatic framework.
Godfree clearly hit a homerun here. Trump was telegraphing success before his arrival, even calling XJP "the King of China", which is very tributary indeed . All the mainstream pundits who were gloating that Trump would walk away emptyhanded have egg all over their faces, as is often true with these ideological communism-socialism-China haters. Xi and Trump helped garner over a quarter of a trillion dollars in bilateral business deals. The value of these deals is unprecedented in Sino-American relations and may be the second biggest on diplomatic record. The only bigger one that I've ever heard of was Xi's and Russian President Vladimir Putin's $400 billion gas/oil/pipeline deal, which I wrote about recently.

Comment: You'd think American media would be proud that their leader received such a warm welcome, but no - they don't seem to care. "Trump bad. Nothing he do good."

'Defense is non-negotiable': Tehran dismisses Macron's calls to renegotiate Iran's nuclear agreement and impose sanctions

Tehran has dismissed calls to negotiate its ballistic activities voiced by French President Emmanuel Macron, who earlier considered amendments to the nuclear deal over Iran's missile program, and even sanctions "if necessary."

France is fully aware of Iran's firm stance towards its defence capabilities, viewing it as non-negotiable," Bahram Qassemi said Saturday, as quoted in a statement on the ministry's website. On Thursday, during a visit to Saudi Arabia, Macron said there were "extremely strong concerns about Iran."

The president proposed revising the Iran nuclear deal of 2015, saying it "must be preserved," but "complemented with two pillars," which would include "a negotiation on the ballistic activity of Iran, with sanctions if necessary," and a discussion on "restraining Iranian hegemony in the region." Previously, Paris voiced its commitment to the agreement, favoring new nuclear negotiations after 2025, when some of the provisions expire.

President Kennedy and the ruthless conspiracy

Federal Reserve Building
Marriner S. Eccles Federal Reserve Board Building
In late October President Trump ordered that "the veil be lifted" from the investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. More than 3,000 new, previously classified FBI, CIA, and Congressional documents were released to the public. A quick overview of the material shows that the bulk of it pertains either to the CIA's covert operations against Cuba (one of the most popular theories about JFK's assassination focuses on the ties between Lee Harvey Oswald and anti-Castro paramilitary groups that were upset about Kennedy's "soft" policy toward the island) or the CIA's search for a "Soviet fingerprint" in the crime - as can be seen in Langley's fruitless but determined attempts to turn the defector Yuri Nosenko into a key source of information (although, truth be told, he adamantly refused to give the required "testimony" and was for this reason long suspected of being a KGB double agent). We cannot avoid the impression that these huge document dumps - along with the scores of "investigations" conducted over the last 54 years, in addition to the books and movies about this cryptic murder - have one goal: to keep whoever really ordered the JFK assassination from being brought to justice.

All of these materials focus in one way or another on the figure of the unhappy "psychopath," known as Lee Harvey Oswald, the lone gunman who shot the 35th US president on Nov. 22, 1963, from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas, using a 6.5mm Mannlicher-Carcano Italian rifle with telescopic sight. Each new batch of released documents (and there have been three just this year: on July 24, Oct. 26, and Nov. 3) triggers another round of furious debate, all over the world, about his motives, connections, and the facts of the crime.

Oswald arrest
Oswald being led from the Texas Theatre following his arrest, Nov 22 1963
The narrative of the murder would seem quite straightforward. Just a few minutes after the fatal shots were fired, the security services were already combing through the depository building. On the 6th floor, they discovered an open window, three shell casings, and a rifle bearing Oswald's fingerprints. Forty minutes after Kennedy's death, the cops already had a name, physical description, and address for his alleged killer. The crime of the century was easily solved. The police surrounded the Texas Theatre building where Mr. Oswald was hiding, and he was arrested barely an hour after the president was assassinated.

Comment: It wasn't just only the Federal Reserve that was unhappy with Kennedy. While this theory has been mentioned before, there were many other players that didn't like what Kennedy was doing. One could say it was his attempts to 'drain the swamp' that got him assassinated. The power structure is so firmly entrenched that you can count on the release of the JFK files being a distraction, if anything, away from the truth.

Why is the "Trump Collusion" case not getting the kid-glove Killary emails treatment?

robert mueller
© Yuri Gripas/ReutersRobert Mueller on Capitol Hill in 2013.
If the Justice Department is hell-bent on making a case, it plays an intimidating game of hardball.

In July 2016, the Obama administration announced its decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for felony mishandling of classified information and destruction of government files. In the aftermath, I observed that there is a very aggressive way that the Justice Department and the FBI go about their business when they are trying to make a case - one profoundly different from the way they went about the Clinton emails investigation. There, they tried not to make the case.

That observation bears repeating today, as we watch Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of any possible Trump-campaign collusion in Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 presidential campaign. Mueller is a former FBI director and top Justice Department prosecutor. To say he is going about the collusion caper aggressively would be an understatement. The earth is being scorched by the stunningly large team he has assembled, which includes 16 other prosecutors (among them, Democratic party donors and activists) along with dozens of investigators (mostly from the FBI and IRS).

Palestinian Authority calls out Israel for supporting terrorists in Syria

IDF medics and terrorists
The Palestinian Authority has accused Israel of supporting terrorist groups in Syria after Tel Aviv threatened to directly intervene in the war following an elaborate attack on a Syrian Druze village.

The Israeli military on Friday threatened to launch an incursion into Syria "to protect" residents in Hader, which is populated by the Arab country's Druze minority known for supporting the Syrian government.

Earlier that day, at least nine people were killed and 23 others wounded in a car bombing by Nusra Front terrorists, which also involved an exchange of fire with government troops based in the village close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

After the attack, people in the Golan Heights held a protest to condemn what they called Israel's support for anti-Damascus terrorists. Israeli forces were deployed to the area to disperse the protesters.

Powerhouse to poorhouse: Podesta Group is closing its doors

tony and john podesta
The Podesta Group, as reported earlier today by True Pundit, will close it's doors in a matter of days or even hours, according to insiders of the embattled firm.

Employees still remaining at the firm do not even expect to be paid again, according to sources. The company, in effect, appears to be finished.

This updated intelligence dove tails with material published by True Pundit this morning:
Kimberley Fritts, the CEO of the Podesta Group, resigned Thursday afternoon about a week after Tony Podesta stepped down from the lobbying powerhouse he founded.

Sources tell True Pundit the firm has lost numerous clients and millions in billables since U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller started snooping around the firm's links to Paul Manafort who was indicted last week. Wells Fargo and Oracle have vacated Podesta's firm.

It appears all the talent is in the process of vacating the firm.

Another woman accuses George H. W. Bush of sexually assaulting her as a teen

george bush
Slowly but surely as the curtain gets peeled back on the Hollywood predators, the light is beginning to turn on the political elite as well. The 41st president of the United States is the latest alleged predator to be outed by a former victim.

Roslyn Corrigan has come forward recently to explain how she was only 16-years-old when she got the chance to meet George H.W. Bush. However, this dream come true to meet a former president quickly turned into a nightmare for the young girl.

In an interview with Time magazine, Corrigan noted that then 79-year-old Bush Sr. groped her buttocks at a November 2003 event in The Woodlands, Texas, office of the Central Intelligence Agency where Corrigan's father gathered with fellow intelligence officers and family members to meet Bush, Corrigan said.

"My initial action was absolute horror. I was really, really confused," Corrigan told TIME, speaking publicly for the first time about the encounter. "The first thing I did was look at my mom and, while he was still standing there, I didn't say anything. What does a teenager say to the ex-president of the United States? Like, 'Hey dude, you shouldn't have touched me like that?'"

Comment: Yep, same as you would if any creepy old man did the same. Overall, presidents are one of the lowest forms of life, not one of the highest.

Corrigan explained that the incident happened as she stood next to Bush for a photo opportunity. While this case could easily be written off by some as an attempt to grab the limelight or make false accusations for attention, it is the sixth such case to emerge since October 24. One such incident was witnessed by Barbara Bush and the former president went on to apologize for it.

Comment: Bush Sr. was known to frequent Lawrence King's pedophile parties in the 80s. This is according to, among others, Eulice Washington, who was one of the Franklin scandal victims (Washington's credibility is established by Nick Bryant in his book The Franklin Scandal). While Bryant leaves out Bush's name (referring to him only as "a nationally prominent politician"), Webster Tarpley names him explicitly:
Lisa also accompanied Mr. and Mrs. King and Prince on trips to Chicago, N.Y. and Washington, D.C. beginning when she was 15 years old. She missed twenty-two days of school almost totally due to these trips. Lisa was taken along on the pretense of being Prince's babysitter. Last year she met V.P. George Bush and saw him again at one of the parties Larry gave while on a Washington, D.C. trip. At some of the parties there are just men (as was the case at the party George Bush attended)-older men and younger men in their early twenties. Lisa said she has seen sodomy committed at those parties....

At these parties, Lisa said every guest had a bodyguard and she saw some of the men wearing guns. All guests had to produce a card which was run through a machine to verify who the guest was, in fact, who they said they were. And then each guest was frisked down before entering the party.
She indicates that she attended a party in Chicago with King and the male youths. She indicated George Bush was present.

She indicates that she set [sic] at a table at the party while wearing nothing but a negligee. She stated that George Bush saw her on the table. She stated she saw George Bush pay King money, and that Bush left the party with a nineteen year old black boy named Br[a]nt. Lisa said the party George Bush attended was in Chicago in September or October 1984. According to the Chicago Tribune of October 31, 1984, Bush was in Illinois campaigning for congressional candidates at the end of October.

Lisa added more details on the Chicago trip, and told why she was sure it was George Bush she had seen. According to a May 8, 1989 report by investigator Jerry Lowe, "Eulice [Lisa] indicated that she recognized George Bush as coming to the party and that Bush had two large white males with him. Eulice indicated Bush came to the party approximately 45 minutes after it started and that he was greeted by Larry King. Eulice indicated that she knew George Bush due to the fact that he had been in political campaigns and also she had observed a picture of Bush with Larry King at Larry King's house in Omaha."

What Constitution? The un-American attack on RT America

Russia Today
© Sputnik/ Igorь Rusak
RT America is a news organization operating in the United States that is funded at least partly by a foreign government. So is the BBC. So is Deutsche Welle, France24, Al-Jazeera, and numerous other foreign media organizations. It is assumed that they all to a degree reflect the editorial interests of those who pay the bills.

The same is true with other, non-state funded media outlets, of course. It's up to us to factor these things in when we consume media. That's what it means to be a free people.

A core value in a free society is that our own government has zero power over what we read, what we watch, how we think, how we come to interpret current events, the conclusions we draw based on these inputs, and so on. These are private matters over which any government that is not tyrannical should have no sway.
