Terrorist Plots, Hatched by the F.B.I.

The United States has been narrowly saved from lethal terrorist plots in recent years - or so it has seemed. A would-be suicide bomber was intercepted on his way to the Capitol; a scheme to bomb synagogues and shoot Stinger missiles at military aircraft was developed by men in Newburgh, N.Y.; and a fanciful idea to fly explosive-laden model planes into the Pentagon and the Capitol was hatched in Massachusetts.

But all these dramas were facilitated by the F.B.I., whose undercover agents and informers posed as terrorists offering a dummy missile, fake C-4 explosives, a disarmed suicide vest and rudimentary training. Suspects naïvely played their parts until they were arrested.

When an Oregon college student, Mohamed Osman Mohamud, thought of using a car bomb to attack a festive Christmas-tree lighting ceremony in Portland, the F.B.I. provided a van loaded with six 55-gallon drums of "inert material," harmless blasting caps, a detonator cord and a gallon of diesel fuel to make the van smell flammable. An undercover F.B.I. agent even did the driving, with Mr. Mohamud in the passenger seat. To trigger the bomb the student punched a number into a cellphone and got no boom, only a bust.

I contend that this story is just the tip of the iceberg into the US government's black operations to further the Patriot Act, funding for Homeland Security and the TSA, and to keep intensity up for the so called War on Terror.


Respected lawyer and community leader, Kurt Haskell, has nothing to gain from pointing his finger at the federal government. He witnessed the underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, being whisked past security and led onto NorthWest Airlines flight 253, by a well-dressed man with an American accent- all without the passenger's proper visa and passport documentation. What the news piece doesn't mention is that the State Dept did indeed put Mutallab on the plane, at the behest of "an unnamed US intelligence agency." Undersecretary Patrick F. Kennedy (Detroit news article was removed from web!).

The would-be suicide bomber dispatched by the Yemen branch of Al Qaeda last month to blow up a United States-bound airliner was actually an intelligence agent for Saudi Arabia who infiltrated the terrorist group and volunteered for the suicide mission, American and foreign officials said Tuesday.

In an extraordinary intelligence coup, the double agent left Yemen, traveling by way of the United Arab Emirates, and delivered both the innovative bomb designed for his air attack and critical information on the group's leaders to the C.I.A., Saudi and other foreign intelligence agencies.

After spending weeks at the center of the terrorist network's most dangerous affiliate, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the agent provided critical information that permitted the C.I.A. to direct the drone strike on Sunday that killed Fahd Mohammed Ahmed al-Quso, the group's external operations director and a suspect in the bombing of the American destroyer Cole in Yemen in 2000.

He also handed over the bomb, designed by the group's top explosives expert to be invisible to airport security, to the F.B.I., which is analyzing its properties.

Comment: Hooray for the CIA and the FBI and Saudi Intelligence and "other" intelligence agencies (wink, wink, M o s s a d), making the world safe for pedophile networks, wage slavery, drug trafficking, money-laundering and weapons smuggling!

How many Americans can 4 billion dollars feed? We'll never know, since the government is choosing to give the money to a terrorist state run by psychopaths who has no need to defend itself since it's the greatest armed aggressor in the region.
Amid concerns about rising tensions in the Persian Gulf, a U.S. House of Representatives defense subcommittee has approved nearly $1 billion for Israel's anti-missile defense program, the highest single appropriation for the four-system project.

It includes the high-altitude Arrow 3 being developed by Israel Aerospace Industries and the Boeing Co. to destroy Iranian and Syrian ballistic missiles outside Earth's atmosphere.

The move by the Defense Appropriation subcommittee also covers the only missile defense system so far used in combat, Iron Dome, built by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems of Israel to counter rockets with a range of 3-40 miles.

The $680 million slated for that system, designed to intercept short-range missiles and rockets and the lower rung of the planned missile defense shield, got the green light from the subcommittee April 29.

"The total appropriation ... reflects not only U.S. representatives' consistent support for Israel, but also rising concern about the Israel-Iran confrontation, which is liable to expose Israel to missile strikes from Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas," Israel's Globes business daily reported Tuesday.

Netanyahu reneges on early Israeli elections, strikes surprise coalition deal with Kadima

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has struck a deal with the opposition Kadima party, avoiding the early elections he had previously sought.

Kadima's recently-elected head, Shaul Mofaz, is to be named a deputy PM in a deal set to be ratified later.

The surprise move was agreed at a secret overnight meeting.

It came as the parliament, or Knesset, debated its dissolution ahead of elections that Mr Netanyahu had planned for September.

A statement issued by Mr Netanyahu's office said: "A broad national unity government is good for security, good for the economy and good for the people of Israel."

President Shimon Peres welcomed the deal as "good for the people of Israel", his office said.

Interpol has called for help in arresting fugitive Iraqi vice-president Tareq al-Hashemi on suspicion of planning and funding attacks in Iraq.

Hashemi, a leading Sunni Muslim politician, fled Baghdad in December when the Shia-led government accused him of running death squads.

The vice-president, who is thought to be in Istanbul, has denied the charges, saying they are politically motivated. He has refused to stand trial in Baghdad.

Interpol, which is based in France, said on Tuesday it had issued the "red notice" arrest alert at the request of Iraqi authorities.

The notice did not amount to an international arrest warrant, it added, but was a call on forces in its 190 member countries to help locate Hashemi and bring him to justice.

A five month investigation reveals an epidemic of violence and corruption facilitated by Family Courts in the United States. Children all over the United States are being taken from their protective mothers and delivered to abusers. Behind this epidemic of judicial abuse are organized networks involved in racketeering and corruption, channeling and disappearing billions of dollars of U.S. taxpayers money every year. Insurance companies are being defrauded by medical and mental health professionals rewarded handsomely for producing quack studies that criminalize loving mothers and protect abusive fathers. With clear evidence of racketeering and corruption, high court judges and insider lawyers use and abuse the Family Courts system to destroy protective mothers and deliver life sentences of suffering to innocent children. Rich, poor, middle-class... No child in America is safe.

Little did they know, the worst was yet to come. Sunny Kelley and Lori Handrahan are just two mothers in two states in the country whose cases provide irrefutable evidence of judicial abuse and pedophile trafficking through Family Courts. Their court cases went straight from horrible to hell.

Despite solid documentation of judicial corruption, cronyism, state social service agency abuse, misconduct or dismissal by police, and massive profiteering by officials who are preying on families and children, even the Federal Bureau of Investigation is mute.

Just when Sunny and Lori thought it couldn't get worse, it did.

Al-Jazeera English shuts China bureau after reporter expelled

Al-Jazeera said Tuesday it has shut its English-language bureau in China after its correspondent became the first foreign journalist to be expelled from the country since 1998.

Beijing's refusal to renew the visa of US citizen Melissa Chan sparked anger among press groups, which linked the decision to a documentary by the international news channel on forced prison labour in China.

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of China (FCCC) said it was "appalled" and called the move a "grave threat to foreign reporters' ability to work in China".

"This is the most extreme example of a recent pattern of using journalist visas in an attempt to censor and intimidate foreign correspondents in China," said a statement from the FCCC, considered an illegal organisation in China.

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Hong Kong also condemned Chan's expulsion.

Comment: It's important to keep in mind here that ever since Al Jazeera 'went over to the dark side', its activities have gone beyond 'just reporting the facts' to providing propaganda services to the Powers That Be.

Albert Chennouf, the father of a soldier killed in March by Mohamed Merah, filed a complaint against the incumbent president, Nicolas Sarkozy, and against the head of the intelligence services, accusing them of failing to prevent the death of his son.

Albert Chennouf filed "a statement to the police" for failure to assist a person in danger, officials said to the prosecution of Nîmes, in the South-Eastern France. The file should be forwarded to Paris. "I want to file a complaint against Nicolas Sarkozy and Bernard Squarcini for failure to assist a person in danger. I hold them responsible for the death of my son," said Mr. Chennouf on the website of the weekly Le Nouvel Observateur. Bernard Squarcini is responsible for the Central Directorate of Internal Intelligence (DCRI).

"Inevitably, we ask ourselves questions," added Chennouf. "I think that when you go to Pakistan by making a detour to Israel, it can only be with the blessing of the French secret services. The hypothesis that Merah was eliminated so that he wouldn't talk seems more and more plausible to me (...). Politicians wanted him to die."

Counsel for Mr. Chennouf, Gilbert Collard, confirmed that his client had filed a complaint. "He's in great despair, he pays the price for the drama lived," he said.

Corporal Abel Chennouf, 25, was killed the 15th of March in Montauban by Jihadist Mohamed Merah, who, in less than ten days, coldly killed
one man and three Jewish children, and three young soldiers. Mohamed Merah, who claimed to belong to Al-Qaeda, was killed the 22nd of March when police intervened in his apartment in Toulouse after a thirty-two hour siege.

Comment: Albert Chennouf knows something is wrong with the official story.

Clearly Merah was never meant to come out of that apartment alive. Why? Because he would have been able to tell the truth - that he did not shoot those three soldiers or the teacher and children at the Jewish school. Alive, he may have told a story of being contacted by French intelligence while he was in jail and offered a 'deal', whereby, as a Muslim, he would go to Afghanistan 'undercover' and report back to French intelligence on the activities of certain groups. This would have been the process of 'sheep dipping' him, creating a history that could later be used against him. He could have told how a trip to Israel was arranged for him and that he made contact with Israeli intelligence.

Disturbing news from Occupy circles about NYPD practices these days - I mean, in addition to all those other NYPD practices we were already disturbed about.

David Graeber, a prominent anarchist involved with Occupy since its beginning, recounts seeing a woman friend in New York a few weeks ago, her hand in a cast. A cop had grabbed her breast, she said.

When she raised a fuss and screamed about the groping, the cops dragged her out of sight and started working her over. "Stop resisting!" they continued to shout, as they repeatedly slammed her body into the concrete. At some point she told them she was reaching over to get her glasses, which had come off in the scuffle. In the reptilian police mind, this justified pinning her hands behind her back and bending one wrist until it snapped.

Those familiar with police riots versus anti-globalization demonstrations and the more recent Occupy demonstrations, or who follows Radley Balko and CopBlock, is aware that sexual assault's the only thing unusual about this case. As Graeber says, "arbitrary violence is nothing new. The apparently systematic use of sexual assault against women protestors is new."

Of course sexual assault itself is hardly new as a weapon of social control, in historical terms. It appears in the arsenals of most authoritarian regimes - large-scale, premeditated use of rape for ethnic cleansing by Serbian forces in Bosnia, Egyptian troops using "virginity inspections" to humiliate female demonstrators taken into custody, and so on.
