Iraqi Interior Ministry has confirmed that the leader of the ISIL Takfiri group, Ibrahim al-Samarrai aka Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has been injured in the latest airstrikes by the US-led coalition.

The ministry said on Sunday that several Takfiri militants were also killed in the air raids but did not provide any further details.

On Saturday, the US Central Command, which oversees its forces in the Middle East, said the anti-ISIL coalition had carried out a "series of airstrikes" late on Friday against a "gathering of ISIL leaders" near the Iraqi city of Mosul, a hub of the terrorist group's activities.

"We cannot confirm if (ISIL) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was among those present," said Colonel Patrick Ryder, a spokesman at US Central Command.

The airstrikes also targeted a convoy of ten ISIL armed trucks.

The announcement of the strikes came a day after US President Barack Obama authorized the deployment of up to 1,500 more American soldiers to Iraq to fight against the ISIL Takfiri militants. The new deployment will take the total number of US military forces in the country to 3,100.


The ISIL terrorists are in control of large areas across eastern Syria and northern and western Iraq.

They have been carrying out horrific acts of violence, including public decapitations, against Iraqi communities such as Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, and Christians.

There is an interesting word in Russian: вялотекущий. It can be translated as "creeping" or "sluggish". It is composed of the word вяло which means "lethargically", or "torpidly" or "apathetic" and текущий which means to flow, to progress. This word comes to my mind when looking at the war in the Ukraine, it is progressing towards some kind of worsening, but it does so in a slouching, slowly creeping way.

Novorussian side

On the Novorussian side the recent elections did not solve the constant infighting between the various commanders. To my great regret, this nonsense is still going on. Bezler was removed from his command, Mozgovoi was told that his brigade had to be incorporated into the Novorussian Armed Forces (NAF), which he gladly accepted, and that this would be done by breaking up his brigade into various units of the NAF, which he categorically rejected. Then there was the news that Zakharchenko had decorated Strelkov and Borodai as with the Medal of "Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic". Strelkov denied that, adding that he would not take that medal from Zakharchenko anyway. The news was then "corrected" to say that this decision had been made about Bezler and Borodai. The good news is that while the Novorussians are fighting, the Russians are sending them huge amounts of weapons. The main difference with what Russia did in the past is that this time around the Voentorg is not done covertly at all and that these huge columns of trucks have been seen driving around the center of Donetsk, clearly in the hope that somebody would film or photograph them. The message to the Junta is clear - we are read and we will support Novorussia. It appears that so far this new "semi-overt" style of support has deterred the Junta Repression Forces (JRF) from any major attacks.

The pugnacious Turkish President made a rare telephone call to his Russian counterpart to discuss the latest regional developments, particularly Syria's raging conflict.

According to Moscow Times, a renowned Russian English-language daily newspaper, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who stepped up his customary belligerent rhetoric against the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad, told his Russian counterpart that Turkey has allegedly reached a threshold where it cannot remain indifferent toward the "human carnage" in the Arab war-torn country, but to Erdoğan's surprise, Putin was infuriated and vehemently warned Turkish President from further interfering in Syrian internal affairs otherwise Russia is ready to thwart Turkey from triggering a catastrophic war in the region.

The Turkish flabbergasted president then asked Putin whether his fiery remarks meant a direct threat against Turkey and Putin replied:" Mr. President, You may construe whatever interpretations you wish from my words."

The "Terrorist" Events of Wednesday October 22nd in Ottawa and two days earlier in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu bear all the hallmarks of a coordinated cross-border one-two punch false flag operation.

The first, the left jab hit-and-run killing of a Canadian soldier, would be the psychological softening up for the follow-up right cross, the killing of another Canadian soldier in Ottawa. Together they dazed the public to an extent that even the ostentatiously-iconic murder at the National War Memorial alone might not have achieved.

The context was within the intensification of the so-called "global war on terror" and in concert with the pro-military Stephen Harper government's deployment of warplanes supposedly fighting "the terrorists" of the suddenly-emerging "Islamic State." The first bombing sorties of Canadian F-18s took place hours after the violent acts of supposed "homegrown" and "self-radicalized" supporters of "Islamic jihad."

Domestically the second outrage occurred on the very day the government was to introduce legislation giving the RCMP, CSIS and CSEC [CSEC is changing its name (to CSE) so that it can continue to spy - and indeed do more spying abroad - but not have the word "Canada" associated with this spying. "Spy agency CSEC says goodbye to Canada" is the headline over an October 31st Toronto Star story by Tonda MacCharles. ]

These coincidences of timing, I submit, are not coincidences at all but quite deliberately planned to maximize the intended impacts: greater public support for a new war in the Middle East, better chances for faster and less-questioned support in Parliament for the increased police and spy powers, and enhanced public approval ratings for the Harper government in the run-up to next year's general election.

This article delves deeper into the timing including that the events happened, to the day, as military-intelligence "exercises" were taking place that precisely mirrored the "surprise" events. Other hallmarks include the prior involvement of government agents with both of the supposed jihadists, the fact that both were easy-to-manipulate "human wreckage" and the early "terrorism" branding led by the Prime Minister. Other hallmarks include the unfolding parade of memorable iconic elements and images, the "lone wolf" narratives, the dual role of the media in general to both to reinforce the official narrative and to fail to ask fundamental questions about it.
Ottawa shooter Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, especially, is tied to the "war on terror." At the highest level of visibility, he's a pawn marketed for public consumption to reinforce "global jihad" rhetoric.

President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping have signed a memorandum of understanding on the so-called "western" gas supplies route to China. The agreement paves the way for a contract that would make China the biggest consumer of Russian gas.

Russia's so-called "western" or "Altay" route would supply 30 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas a year to China.

The new supply line comes in addition to the "eastern" route, through the "Power of Siberia" pipeline, which will annually deliver 38 bcm of gas to China. Work on that pipeline route has already begun after a $400 billion deal was clinched in May.

"After we have launched supplies via the "western route," the volume of gas deliveries to China can exceed the current volumes of export to Europe," Gazprom CEO Aleksey Miller told reporters, commenting on the deal.

Speaking to journalists on the eve of his visit to Beijing, Putin was optimistic about prospects for the new gas deal with China.

"We have reached an understanding in principle concerning the opening of the western route," Putin said. "We have already agreed on many technical and commercial aspects of this project, laying a good basis for reaching final arrangements."

People with poor credit are being sold cars with GPS-based kill switches.
Imagine this scenario: You're on an important trip miles from home and stopped in traffic, but before you can continue on your way, your car shuts down. You've got enough gas in the tank and no mechanical problems. But you're stranded far from home because you're a few days late on your car payment and the lender won't let you drive until the debt is paid.

If this sounds like part of a dystopian future in which repo men are now cyborgs, it's not. It's happening today and becoming a big part of the new automotive landscape. Car dealers and automotive lenders are targeting those with poor credit by installing GPS-based kill switches, or starter-interrupt devices, on the cars that they sell.

The New York Times recently reported that about 2 million cars are now outfitted with such kill switches in the U.S., which is about one-quarter of subprime car loans, and creditors are not shy when it comes to remotely disabling cars whose owners are behind on their payments:

"Some borrowers say their cars were disabled when they were only a few days behind on their payments, leaving them stranded in dangerous neighborhoods. Others said their cars were shut down while idling at stoplights. Some described how they could not take their children to school or to doctor's appointments. One woman in Nevada said her car was shut down while she was driving on the freeway.

"Beyond the ability to disable a vehicle, the devices have tracking capabilities that allow lenders and others to know the movements of borrowers, a major concern for privacy advocates. And the warnings the devices emit - beeps that become more persistent as the due date for the loan payment approaches - are seen by some borrowers as more degrading than helpful."

Subprime automotive-loan borrowers, those with FICO credit scores below 660, debt-to-income ratios of more than 50% or a bankruptcy in the past 60 months, are a growing segment of automotive borrowers. This phenomenon has been buoyed by auto dealers trying to continue a strong sales rebound after years of weak sales and by securities investors who buy bonds backed by those loans and see them as a way to get ample returns when other interest rates remain low.

Why is the Anglo-American Axis so afraid of Putin and determined to bring him down?

Ultra-Secret Deal Made Prior To The Engineered Collapse Of The USSR Following The Fall Of The Berlin Wall

One of the best kept secrets which predicated the inevitable collapse of Soviet communism and the subsequent breakup of the USSR is that it actually occurred in a manner not too unlike a carefully controlled demolition. Only in this case they were bankers and politicians, investment brokers and power-brokers who actually pressed the buttons. All of the plans toward that end were fastidiously laid by these stakeholders, all of whom had the greatest interest in exploiting the vast wealth of the Russian motherland.

For the United States, so-called "color revolution" used to be a specialty until recently. The Western media has delighted in exposing the US State Department's role in the wake of successful political subversion around the world via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and a long list of subsidiaries including Freedom House, the National Democratic Institute (NDI), and the International Republican Institute (IRI) headed currently by US Senator John McCain.

For example, the Guardian would admit in its 2004 article, "US campaign behind the turmoil in Kiev," that:

...while the gains of the orange-bedecked "chestnut revolution" are Ukraine's, the campaign is an American creation, a sophisticated and brilliantly conceived exercise in western branding and mass marketing that, in four countries in four years, has been used to try to salvage rigged elections and topple unsavoury regimes.

Funded and organised by the US government, deploying US consultancies, pollsters, diplomats, the two big American parties and US non-government organisations, the campaign was first used in Europe in Belgrade in 2000 to beat Slobodan Milosevic at the ballot box.

A torrent of leaked documents and e-mails have exposed the already questionable "Occupy Central" leadership as engaged in unethical, opaque funding. Millions of Hong Kong dollars have been shifted around secretly without "Occupy Central" supporters' knowledge, concealing the source of the funding and the true nature of "Occupy Central's" agenda.
