Obama-era ethics chief sends blistering message about Biden's hiring practices

In a profanity-laced series of tweets, Walter Shaub excoriates the Biden administration for hiring so many relatives of top White House staffers.

Walter Shaub, the former director of the Office of Government Ethics under the Obama-Biden administration and a frequent critic of President Trump, often appearing on CNN, said on Friday that the Biden administration is sending a "f--- you" to ethics experts by hiring so many relatives of top White House officials.

The list of those officials with at least one direct family member working for the administration includes, according to Fox News, Press secretary Jen Psaki, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, national security adviser Jake Sullivan, senior adviser Anita Dunn, White House counselor Steve Richetti, deputy chief of staff Bruce Reed and presidential personnel office director Cathy Russell.

Comment: More from the Fox News report that set off Shaub's ire:
The most recent White House hire with family ties to the administration is J.J. Ricchetti - the son of White House counselor Steve Ricchetti - who joined the Treasury Department as a special assistant in the Office of Legislative Affairs.

"It feels like the taxpayers are funding a career-building charity for the Ricchetti family," Shaub previously told Fox News. "Add to that the fact that you've got Ricchetti's brother lobbying the administration, and this feels like a very special episode of the Partridge Family where they all pile in the van and go visit Washington — only they should call this show the Patronage Family."

J.J. Ricchetti included a link to a document about supporting the Defund the Police movement and donating to bail funds for protesters in his Instagram bio, though the link was taken down after a comment request to the Treasury Department from Fox News.

Another of Steve Ricchetti's sons, Daniel Ricchetti, is a senior adviser in the office of the undersecretary of State for arms control and international security, and his daughter Shannon Ricchetti is deputy associate director at the office of the White House social secretary.

Psaki on Friday defended the administration's decision to appoint her sister, Stephanie Psaki, to a senior adviser role within the Department of Health and Human Services in March.

The press secretary wrote on Twitter that she "can confirm my job over the last 5 months did not retroactively get my brilliant sister a masters degree from Harvard, a PhD in public health from John's Hopkins and decades of published work and respect in the field."

"She is more qualified than I am to be here," Psaki added.

Supreme Court surprises: Justices break ideological lines in key ObamaCare, religious liberty decisions

Amid liberal calls to pack the Supreme Court, the justices handed down two more landslide rulings Thursday on an attempt to overturn the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and a Catholic foster agency that was banned from Philadelphia's program over its religious beliefs.

Justice Stephen Breyer led a 7-2 court in upholding the ACA, also known as ObamaCare, saying that the states challenging the law didn't have the standing to do so. And Chief Justice John Roberts led a 9-0 court in siding with the foster agency, Catholic Social Services (CSS) over Philadelphia, in what was widely viewed as a victory for religious freedom advocates.

"CSS seeks only an accommodation that will allow it to continue serving the children of Philadelphia in a manner consistent with its religious beliefs; it does not seek to impose those beliefs on anyone else," Roberts wrote in the majority opinion for the case, officially called Fulton v. City of Philadelphia. "The refusal of Philadelphia to contract with CSS for the provision of foster care services unless it agrees to certify same-sex couples as foster parents cannot survive strict scrutiny, and violates the First Amendment."

Matt Gaetz just shared threatening texts from REPORTERS

matt gaetz rally
So-called "reporters" have been sending threatening messages to people, demanding they invent fake stories about Congressman Matt Gaetz in exchange for their names being kept out of the news.

The office of Rep. Gaetz (FL-1) released the messages to John Solomon's Just The News on Tuesday, appearing on the veteran reporter's podcast on the same day.

"[T]ime and time again, what a reporter will do is contact someone that maybe I've had a relationship with, maybe I haven't had any relationship with, maybe I've only been in the same room with one time," Gaetz told the John Solomon Reports podcast. "But they'll say to a person, 'You know, look, we are going to write your name into a story that will have sex trafficking and Matt Gaetz in the headline, unless you provide us some bad information, some embarrassing conduct about Gaetz. And if you do that, well then your name will be protected, your reputation will be protected.'"

Comment: The press has been ridiculously heavy handed in smearing Matt Gaetz and in doing so, have completly revealed their wicked machinations. Will anyone actually believe any of these allegations?

Months after stepping down as head of the UK government's much-derided Covid-19 contact tracing programme, Dido Harding has once again drawn public ire after news emerged of her pursuit of the top job at NHS England.

The health service's website confirmed on Thursday that Harding has left her position as chair of NHS Improvement - the body overseeing its hospital trusts - during the recruitment process for the next NHS CEO. She had held that position since October 2017.

Her time at the helm of 'Test and Trace' (T&T) was highlighted by poor performance with a Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report noting in March that the programme did not make a "measurable difference" in Covid-19 transmission despite its "unimaginable" £37billion budget.

Comment: The UK appears to be entering the late stages of the ponerization process whereby the psychopathic, mentally ill, and mortally incompetent plague crucial positions of influence and power. Should it continue down this path it will eventually collapse under the weight of its own corruption: And check out SOTT radio's:

Media hushes up US court report suggesting FBI involvement in Capitol riot, as White House turns anti-terrorism efforts on US people

Comment: As we said at the time, the 'Insurrection on Capitol Hill' was an inside job...

Capitol Hill • Washington DC • January 6, 2020
Court filings suggest that FBI operatives were among the mob who stormed the US Capitol in January, and may have set up the riot. With the riot used as justification for new terrorism policy, the media is downplaying the story.

Fox News broadcast possibly the most consequential report in recent cable news history on Tuesday night. Fox host Tucker Carlson alleged that the Capitol Hill riot on January 6 - dubbed an "insurrection," an "assault on our democracy," and "domestic terrorism" - may have been, at least partly, an inside job.

GOP lawmakers, led by ex-White House doctor, ask Biden to take cognitive test

Former WH physician Rep. Ronny Jackson
More than a dozen Republican House members, led by former White House doctor Ronny Jackson, asked President Biden Thursday to undergo a cognitive test and release the results "so the American people know the full mental and intellectual health of their President."

"The American people should have absolute confidence in their President," reads the letter to Biden in part. "They deserve to know that he or she can perform the duties of Head of State and Commander in Chief. They deserve full transparency on the mental capabilities of their highest elected leader."

Jackson (R-Texas) told Fox News Hannity Thursday night. "We can't sit on this any longer. After this most recent embarrassing performance overseas, I thought it was time to come out [with the letter]."

The letter, which is copied to chief White House medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and current White House Physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor, claims that Biden's "mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past eighteen months."

Comment: Perhaps standard policy should include a cognitive qualifier for every presidential candidate - sufficing to reassure the public they are choosing from a field of mentally-sound hopefuls.

The great deception

Dr. Peter McCullough is one of the most eminent physicians and scientists in the US, and reputed to be the most published cardiologist in history. Along with a number of others, he devised a treatment protocol for Covid-19, which was shown to be effective in preventing up to 85% of deaths. Yet having spent the best part of a year seeing all discussions of these treatments suppressed, resisted and censored by the authorities, media and Big Tech, he has come to a shocking conclusion:
"I believe that we're under the application of a form of bioterrorism that's worldwide, that appears to have been many years in the planning. The first wave of the bioterrorism was a respiratory virus that spread across the world and affected relatively few people, but generated great fear. ... The entire programme as this bioterrorism Phase 1 was rolled out, was really all about keeping the population in fear and in isolation and preparing them to accept the vaccine, which appears to be Phase 2 of a bioterrorism operation."
At the end of his interview with the German lawyer, Reiner Fuellmich, he poses the following question:
"To me what was masterful is the psychological part of it. How did they pull this off from a mass psychology perspective?"

Netanyahu 'illegally' shredded documents on the eve of Bennett takeover

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen reviewing documents in 2015
The long-serving Israeli prime minister's tenure came to an end on 13 June, after opposition leaders Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett put together a broad coalition government. Along with his political defeat, Netanyahu is being tried for alleged breach of trust, bribery, fraud in the wake of three separate police investigations.

Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the shredding of documents in his safe on Sunday, just before Naftali Bennett took over the job of prime minister, Haaretz reports, citing unnamed staffers. The Israeli outlet says it remains unclear how many documents were destroyed, or what information they may have contained.

A spokesman for the Likud leader forcefully denied the allegations, calling the report a "total lie" and suggesting that "no such thing ever happened". The prime minister's office, now headed by Bennett, said it was "unfamiliar with this issue" but promised to "examine the details".

If verified, the destruction of documents from the prime minister's office could be deemed a violation of Israeli law, which mandates that papers on ex-prime ministers' affairs be properly labelled and transferred to an archive for filing so that the next prime minister and his senior officials can theoretically access them.

Comment: Just one more: Perhaps the Attorney General will add destruction of evidence to Bibi's list of crimes.

French prosecutors seek 6-month prison term for ex-President Sarkozy in campaign finance trial

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy
French prosecutors have called on a Paris judge to sentence former President Nicolas Sarkozy to six months in prison in his trial over campaign finance violations, less than the year behind bars he had potentially faced.

The request was made by prosecutors to the judge overseeing the case on Thursday during the ongoing trial over claims that Sarkozy spent almost double the legal limit of $27.5 million on the 2012 presidential election. He ultimately lost that election to Francois Hollande.

Authorities claim that Sarkozy's campaign team forked out at least €43.61 million ($52 million), holding extravagant and expensive rallies, and sought to conceal the true scale of his spending. Before Thursday's action by prosecutors, Sarkozy had been facing up to one year in prison and a fine of €3,750 ($4,471.39) if convicted.

To be eligible for prisoner swap with US, Washington would have to confirm Navalny works for American intelligence, says Kremlin

Alexei Navalny
Moscow has revealed that US negotiators did not request jailed Russian activist Alexey Navalny be included in a possible prisoner exchange, saying he would be ineligible if he is not a US citizen or a foreign intelligence agent.

Speaking on Thursday, a day after President Vladimir Putin met with his counterpart, Joe Biden, at a summit in Geneva, the Kremlin press secretary said the issue had not been discussed. Asked by the Echo of Moscow radio station whether Navalny was being considered for a prisoner swap, Dmitry Peskov said that the US team had not raised the issue.

"There was no such conversation and no such proposals were voiced," he said. The official added that Russia would be unable to hand over the imprisoned anti-corruption campaigner unless it emerges that he is secretly "a citizen of the US and works for the special services - or, rather, this is confirmed by the Americans."

In October last year, Navalny said that he would sue Peskov after the Kremlin spokesman implied that he had links to foreign spy agencies. Peskov claimed:
"Probably, it is not the patient [Navalny] who works for the Western special services, but the Western intelligence services who work with him. I can even be specific: these days, specialists from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States of America are working with [Navalny]."
