Regime intends to keep thousands of soldiers in Washington DC for months to come - Perhaps even permanently

washington military patrol

DC Green Zone
As the National Guard's deployment to the Capitol enters its second month with no solid end yet in sight, GOP lawmakers are questioning whether thousands are uniformed troops are still needed to protect the Capitol.

On Wednesday, Arkansas GOP Senator Tom Cotton penned an op-ed for Fox News stating that the National Guard troops still in Washington should leave the Capitol grounds as soon as possible, despite Defense Department and local law enforcement plans.

"I'm aware of no specific, credible threat reporting... that justifies this continued troop presence," wrote Cotton, a former soldier who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Thus, I believe the rest of these soldiers should also go home to their families and civilian jobs."

Cotton went on to say, "The lesson of the Capitol riot is not that we should quarter a standing army at the Capitol just in case, but rather that our security measures should be calibrated to the actual threats."

Cotton's op/ed came on the same day that 11 GOP House members requested a briefing from acting Army Secretary John Whitley on any ongoing threats to the Capitol as well as an explanation for why the National Guard troops were still in Washington, according to Defense News.

Comment: Ms. Pittman - brand new on the job after DC bosses fired the previous guy for the January 6th riot - wouldn't have suggested a permanent military presence in the American capital without supportive signals from on high...

'Bravery' or 'manipulative'? AOC comes out as survivor of sexual assault while describing 'trauma' of Capitol riot

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) revealed she is a survivor of sexual assault while recounting last month's Capitol riot. Many hailed her for the deeply personal story, while others questioned her motives.

During a livestream on Instagram on Monday night, the progressive lawmaker pushed back against Republican colleagues and critics who have demanded an apology after she accused Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of putting her life in danger by allegedly helping to incite the unrest in the capital on January 6.

Comment: Fair play to Michael Tracey, one of the last actual journalists in the US, for calling out AOC:

13 GOP House members demand AOC apologize to Ted Cruz for accusing him of 'attempted murder'
1 Feb, 2021 22:57

Republican members of Congress have sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California), demanding Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) apologize to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for claiming he tried to have her killed.

"It has come to our attention that Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sent out a tweet in which she accused Senator Cruz, in essence, of attempted murder," the letter, which was obtained and revealed by Washington Examiner on Monday, reads.

The lawmakers are referring to a recent tweet from Ocasio-Cortez in which she said Cruz was among the Republicans who "almost had me murdered," referencing the US Capitol riot on January 6, which she has said she holds Republicans who had pushed voter fraud conspiracy theories partially responsible for.

Ironically, the tweet was in response to Cruz saying he agreed with Ocasio-Cortez about her support of the individual buyers motivated by the r/WallStreetBets subreddit to buy into flailing companies like GameStop, which heavily influenced the market and hurt hedge funds betting against the company.

The 13 Republicans who signed the letter called Ocasio-Cortez's tweet "completely unacceptable behavior from a member of Congress" and they call on Pelosi to demand the young Democrat apologize for and retract her statement.

"It is our sincere hope that we all stop this heightened rhetoric and move forward to actually do the work the American people sent us here to do," they added.

The letter follows a separate one sent to Pelosi from Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) who also demanded an apology from the New York congresswoman or else he would take "alternate means" to condemn her words.

House Dems seek to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of committee assignments

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.
House Democrats have introduced a resolution to force Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., off the two committees she serves on, a strike against her comments about school shootings and the 2018 California wildfires.

Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., Ted Deutch, D-Fla., and Jahana Hayes, D-Conn., filed the resolution, which would remove Greene from the House Budget Committee and the House Education & Labor Committee, according to NBC News.

Greene recently came under fire over social media remarks she made in the past few years, including claims the mass shootings at schools in Newtown, Connecticut, and Parkland, Florida, were "false flag" operations, and the 2018 California wildfires were caused by "Jewish space lasers."

Comment: Biden should make Taylor Greene the new Reality Czar.

Marjorie Greene Taylor hits back after Mitch McConnell dubs her 'GOP cancer,' says 'weak Republicans' will doom party & country
2 Feb, 2021 04:47

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has responded to a scathing attack by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell - who dubbed her a "cancer" for the GOP - insisting that "weak" Republicans would be the country's downfall.

"The real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully," the freshman GOP congresswoman wrote in a tweet on Monday night.

The rebuttal came after McConnell, the top Republican in the Senate, took aim at Taylor Greene in a blistering statement earlier on Monday, accusing her of embracing "loony lies and conspiracy theories" while calling her a "cancer for the Republican Party."

McConnel's own statement was issued as House Democrats attempt to drive Taylor Greene from any position of influence in Congress, and even from the GOP itself. Three lawmakers have already submitted a resolution to have her booted from the congressional Education and Labor Committee, arguing that her presence there would cause "future harm," while others have reportedly pressured Republican leaders to censure Taylor Greene or expel her from the party.

The Georgia rep also responded to the Democratic effort, saying she's only viewed as the "greatest threat" to her critics across the aisle because "I represent your America First views."

"They think Trump is gone, so they attack you and me. He's not gone. And we won't back down and we will never give up! We REFUSE to be canceled!" she wrote.

NYT calls on the Biden Administration to appoint a 'Reality Czar' to help solve our 'Reality Crisis'

truth

Last month, millions of Americans watched as President Biden took the oath of office and, in a high-minded Inaugural Address, called for a new era of American unity.

But plenty of other Americans weren't paying attention to Mr. Biden's speech. They were too busy watching YouTube videos alleging that the inauguration was a prerecorded hoax that had been filmed on a Hollywood soundstage.

Or they were melting down in QAnon group chats, trying to figure out why former President Donald J. Trump wasn't interrupting Mr. Biden's speech to declare martial law and announce the mass arrest of satanic pedophiles.

Blue Pill

On the cusp of the "Blue Terror"

martial law
One of the great paradoxes of American democracy is that much of what makes it worth having also renders it vulnerable to mortal threats. This is particularly true when the threats are internal, and the domestic enemies adept at using their constitutionally guaranteed rights and privileges to gnaw away at the society that nurtured and protected them with the aim of bringing it down in ruins.

Future historians, doubtless writing in Chinese, will marvel at how the radical Left in the U.S. essentially weaponized the Bill of Rights, claiming its protection as they worked to undermine the entire system. They will doubtless express astonishment and satisfaction at the speed and ease with which they came to dominate first academe, then the media, and finally one of the two major political parties in the U.S. - the Democrats.

There will likely even be wry grins of amusement at the assignment of colors by the networks to the two parties around 2000. Here the Democrats, increasingly red politically with little or no center, came to be called "blue" while the Republicans, mostly "true blue Americans" as the term was once used, by default became "red" with its undercurrent of the enemy. Just a bit of gallows humor at a wake.

The stock market, fatally wounded by the truth, will stumble and crash

behind the curtain
It didn't have to be this way, but this is the reality we must now face: truth is fatal to fraud, and our entire financial-political system is a fraud.

The stock market has just been punctured by the thin blades of truth. It is fatally wounded but nobody dares notice. The wounds are barely visible, but the internal damage is mortal. The stock market is already stumbling and will soon crash.

The banquet's participants ignore the faltering market because the rules are we never reveal the truth, or acknowledge it, or discuss it, no matter how obvious, because truth is fatal to fraud. So the stock market's vital signs are in freefall but the conversation remains upbeat and light: stimulus, rapid growth in the second half, etc., all the patter of a carefully constructed illusion that fraud is forever as long as the truth never comes out.

Alas, the truth has emerged from the shadows, despite the silence of the insiders and the financial media. Here are the truths that have emerged like karmic genies:

1. The stock market is nothing but one giant fraud. The entire market is corrupt and rigged from the ground up. The fraud is systemic, designed into every tendril of the market. It was a useful deception to blame it all on "bad players," but now the truth has been revealed: the market is nothing but a rigged game enriching insiders.

Four years ago the world was introduced to the concept of "fake news". Many people may have suspected that the consensus reality of corporate news was a fantasy designed to stupefy and confuse the populace, but the validation from the incoming President Trump solidified the distrust. This was met by a self-defensive frenzy from that same media edifice that bordered on the homicidal at times. This wounded animal — suffering a collapse in audiences across the board — championed an alternative to the sitting president, who now sits behind the big brown desk in the Oval Office.

The benchmark of what constitutes a "conspiracy theory" has moved so dramatically over the past four years that claims that Joe Biden's inauguration was pre-recorded and that he occupies a film studio rather than the real White House don't grate the way perhaps they would have even a year ago. The mind boggles — but afterall, this is the age of the scamdemic, where large swathes of the western world have been shut down because of a virus with the severity of a common cold that has yet to be isolated (and therefore proven to exist), and which in any case can be effectively targeted by a simple and safe prophylactic such as hydroxychloroquine, which has been maligned in favor of a mass vaccination program with an experimental gene-altering compound that is not technically a vaccine. But let us not argue over semantics in times like these.

Comment: The author offers quite a good summation and analysis of current events and patterns in the US, emphasizing we clear our thinking to see and evaluate the grand political schemes currently in motion.

Biden advisers' deep ties to Chinese Communist Party military and propaganda

General Hao meeting

General Hao (seated) and colleagues from the China working group discuss cyber scenarios of third party attacks on critical infrastructure.
Harvard University's Belfer Center - which counts participation from a host of current and former Joe Biden advisers - has repeatedly hosted conferences alongside the Chinese Communist Party, frequently publishing papers peddling CCP narratives, all while refusing to disclose its source of funding.

Compromised Conferences

The National Pulse can reveal the center has hosted cybersecurity working groups alongside Chinese Communist Party government and military officials, despite China's repeated poaching and hacking of U.S. technology:
The working group in Cambridge brought together 20 representatives including former government and military officials, as well as tech, business, and academic professionals to discuss current issues in the bilateral cyber relationship.

Biden's White House wants questions from reporters in advance

Psaki

WH Press Secretary Jan Psaki
Joe Biden's Communications team has repeatedly asked reporters to inform them of their questions ahead of pressroom briefings.

As reported by The Daily Beast, Biden's "staff have already on occasion probed reporters to see what questions they plan on asking new White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki when called upon during briefings" - less than two weeks into the former veep's term.

The "requests prompted concerns" among the White House press corps, causing several reporters to flag them on a White House Correspondents Association Zoom call on January 29th. The Daily Beast summarized:
"According to multiple sources, leaders at the meeting advised print reporters to push back against requests by the White House press team to learn of questions in advance, or simply to not respond to the Biden team's inquiries."
Other sources were quoted as slamming the requests as inhibiting the press from "doing its job" and operating "freely" in the Biden administration.

Comment: Biden Administration has a poor press showing so far. The WH request is for a 'heads up' advance (no matter how they frame it).

Fence at Capitol blocks DC government from enacting new laws

US Capitol: Optical confirmation of America's future
That foreboding black fence erected around the U.S. Capitol building has had an unintentional side effect: walling off the local government's ability to enact new laws.

Washington, D.C., city officials say dozens of new local laws have been bottlenecked because of the lockdown of the Capitol building after the violent Jan. 6 attack by supporters of former President Donald Trump. Under terms of the District's tortured relationship with the federal government, physical paper copies of all new laws must be hand-delivered separately to Senate and House leadership. They cannot be mailed or emailed.

"We are unable to get through the fences. We are trying to find a way to deliver the legislation," D.C. Council Chair Phil Mendelson said Monday. "Sooner or later, there's going to be a gate that opens."

The problem was resolved by Monday afternoon. Nyasha Smith, the secretary of the D.C. Council, told The Associated Press that her office met "off-campus" Monday with a House of Representatives staffer to deliver the documents for House leadership. Last Friday, they did the same with a member of Vice President Kamala Harris' staff; Harris, as vice president, presides over the Senate.

But D.C. officials say the episode shines a light on the larger issue: the fact that D.C. isn't a state and needs to run its local laws past Congress in the first place.

Comment: Authoritarian regimes require barbed fences. The power of fortressing increases the power of fear.
