Puppet Masters
Yesterday, Mr. Obama's presidential campaign issued a dissent from the Hungarian-born billionaire's assessment. " Mr. Soros is entitled to his opinions," a campaign spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said. "But on this issue he and Senator Obama disagree. The U.S. and our allies are right to insist that Hamas - a terrorist organization dedicated to Israel's destruction - meet very basic conditions before being treated as a legitimate actor. AIPAC is one of many voices that share this view."
The Soros article puts Democrats in the awkward position of choosing between Mr. Soros, a major funder of their causes, and the pro- Israel lobby, whose members are also active in campaign fund-raising. Pressed by The New York Sun, some Democrats aired their differences with Mr. Soros.

Up until the 23rd March 2007, it seemed unlikely that the 'creative destructionists' (1) and 'reality-makers' in the Pentagon and Tel Aviv would get to "liberate" Iran in the way they have liberated 26 million Iraqis (1 million of them from their bodies).
The past 3 years of subtle and not-so-subtle slander and demonisation of the Iranian president and people by the American, British and Israeli governments and their media had been largely ineffective in further provoking the anti-Islamic ire of Joe six-pack. After all, with the US invasion of Iraq either a war crime or a quagmire (depending on your political perspective and depth of conscience) Bush's political capital account was seriously overdrawn, rendering the idea of extending the Middle East madness into an attack on Iran nothing but a Zionist pipe dream.
Or so it seemed.

| A memory card that can be used to rig an election using voting computers. |
What would you say if you went in to vote and found there was a man hidden behind a curtain in the voting booth. The man asks you who you want to vote for. You tell him, and he says that he has marked your ballot and put it into the ballot box. You never see the man nor see what he has marked on your ballot. You don't know if he is supporting your candidate, is against your candidate, or is neutral. You don't know if he has honestly recorded your vote or not.
Would you accept to vote under such conditions?
This is effectively what you are doing every time you vote using a computer.
While organizations that focus on Israel-Palestine have long been aware that Israeli border officials regularly strip search men and women, If Americans Knew appears to be the first organization that has specifically investigated the policy of strip searching women. In the course of its investigation, If Americans Knew was astonished to learn that Israeli officials have also been strip searching young girls as young as seven and below.
Blair said the U.S.-led war had brought democracy to the Iraqi people and he blamed the continuing violence in the country on a minority of extremists. The war was part of a global battle against terrorists, he said in an interview with Sky News marking the fourth anniversary of the March 2003 invasion.
Notice also how the complexity of the violence in Iraq is totally lost with the words "minority of extremists".

March 11th, 2004's train bombings in Madrid were called 'Spain's 9/11' by both the ousted Conservative 'Popular Party' and the government controlled press. The reference to 9/11 was of course an attempt to forge a link in the minds of the Spanish and world populations between the September 11th attacks and the Madrid bombings.
