Two missiles launched by a suspected US drone killed at least three foreign militants in an abandoned seminary near Pakistan's border with Afghanistan on Saturday, Pakistani intelligence officials said.

Two militants were also wounded in the strike in Mussaki village in North Waziristan, the officials said, adding that militants from Turkmenistan or China were among those at the seminary but the nationality of those killed was not immediately known.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief reporters.

"Proof" Assad used chemical weapons is one hundred YouTube clips: Full report attached

Image
Below is the government's assessment of the "Syrian Government's Use of Chemical Weapons on August 21, 2013." It is exactly as expected, putting the full blame on Assad.

What however is absolutely mindblowing is the following:
"We have identified one hundred videos attributed to the attack, many of which show large numbers of bodies exhibiting physical signs consistent with, but not unique to, nerve agent exposure. The reported symptoms of victims included unconsciousness, foaming from the nose and mouth, constricted pupils, rapid heartbeat, and difficulty breathing. Several of the videos show what appear to be numerous fatalities with no visible injuries, which is consistent with death from chemical weapons, and inconsistent with death from small-arms, high-explosive munitions or blister agents. At least 12 locations are portrayed in the publicly available videos, and a sampling of those videos confirmed that some were shot at the general times and locations described in the footage. We assess the Syrian opposition does not have the capability to fabricate all of the videos, physical symptoms verified by medical personnel and NGOs, and other information associated with this chemical attack."
In other words, America may be about to launch World War III on the basis of one hundred videos, which it believes "the Syrian opposition does not have the capability to fabricate."

God help us all.

Winston Churchill's shocking use of chemical weapons

Churchill

Secrecy was paramount. Britain's imperial general staff knew there would be outrage if it became known that the government was intending to use its secret stockpile of chemical weapons. But Winston Churchill, then secretary of state for war, brushed aside their concerns. As a long-term advocate of chemical warfare, he was determined to use them against the Russian Bolsheviks. In the summer of 1919, 94 years before the devastating strike in Syria, Churchill planned and executed a sustained chemical attack on northern Russia.

The British were no strangers to the use of chemical weapons. During the third battle of Gaza in 1917, General Edmund Allenby had fired 10,000 cans of asphyxiating gas at enemy positions, to limited effect. But in the final months of the first world war, scientists at the governmental laboratories at Porton in Wiltshire developed a far more devastating weapon: the top secret "M Device", an exploding shell containing a highly toxic gas called diphenylaminechloroarsine. The man in charge of developing it, Major General Charles Foulkes, called it "the most effective chemical weapon ever devised".

Western plotting & planning: Another jolly little war

Syria - a proxy was

Let's face some hard facts about the vicious conflict in Syria.

If the US directly attacks Syria, the real cause will not be the recent chemical attacks. What are 300 or so dead in a 2-year old war fuelled by the western powers that has so far killed over 100,000?

Chemical weapons are horrible. So are bullets, shells, bombs, cluster bombs, fuel-air explosive, white phosphorus, and napalm. All wars are crime writ large.

We don't yet know if the recent chemical massacre in Damascus was a real chemical attack using Sarin nerve gas, a rebel provocation, an industrial accident, or an attack by rogue Syrian army units? After Iraq, we can't trust western intelligence and so-called evidence.

This is not even the main issue at hand though it makes an excellent pretext for outside powers to intervene.

Comment: Once again, the U.S. is the "pot calling the kettle black", built upon from a long ugly historical list of their own, as "Congressional" sanctioned deeds:

Public Law 95-79 [P.L. 95-79]
Title 50, Chapter 32, Section 1520
"Chemical And Biological Warfare Program"

"The use of human subjects will be allowed for the testing of chemical and biological agents by the U.S. Department of Defense, accounting to Congressional committees with respect to the experiments and studies."

"The Secretary of Defense [may] conduct tests and experiments involving the use of chemical and biological [warfare] agents on civilian populations [within the United States]."

A Century of Lies: The rationales for engaging in foreign wars, A Century-old White House tradition

If President Barack Obama and his administration are not lying in the lead-up to a probable bombing campaign of Syria it will be a rare exception among US Presidents, particularly since their public duplicity concerning war dates to at least the early twentieth century.

Indeed, being forthrightly dishonest to the American people concerning the rationales for engaging in foreign wars has become a century-old White House tradition.

The historical record of past presidents' prewar and wartime hucksterism is unambiguous, greatly contributing to the immense bloodshed and destruction that continues under the country's reckless international leadership to this day.

Property owners livid after Feds seize their private land along Mexico's border

Nogales, Arizona -The feds' are exercising eminent domain along the Mexico border-- buying up property- but paying very little for it. Landowners in Santa Cruz county are livid.

"A man's home is his castle," said Tony Sedgwick, the co-owner and manager of Carmencita Ranch. "We've owned that since the 1950's."

But now Sedgwick is losing a chunk of it.

"They have taken the choicest part of my land," he said.

It's a valuable, not to mention scenic spot atop a high hill. And he's losing it because of a BP surveillance tower there. It keeps a close eye on activity along the fence. It's a mobile tower, but now that the Department of Homeland Security has taken the land, permanent towers may soon prop up. It's all part of an effort to tighten up security along the U.S.-Mexico border.

"If your neighbor had lights shining on your property, you would call police," Sedgwick said. "Who do I call? They are the police."

The operator of Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant says radiation levels at a water tank in the atomic facility are 18 times higher than previously measured.

Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) said on Saturday that the highly radioactive water was dripping from a pipe used to connect two coolant tanks. The pipe was repaired using absorption material and plastic tape.

Reports say radiation readings in water are high enough to kill an exposed person in four hours.

On Friday, TEPCO also said that it found new deadly radiation hotspots at four sites around the tanks.

Enemy within: FBI to keep closer eye on Syrians in US ahead of strike

The FBI is upping its surveillance of Syrians within US borders, for a fear of reprisal attacks that may follow an imminent American strike against Bashar Assad, reports in US media say. Homeland Security is also worried about retaliatory cyber-attacks.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations has sent out a classified bulletin warning about potential fallout from the Syrian conflict to all law enforcement agencies, and hundreds of Syrians may face interviews with agents in the coming days, according to unnamed senior officials who spoke to the New York Times.

All sources connected with any Syrians, have been told to look out for plans or even "talk" of a retaliatory strike on US targets, whether inside its borders, or abroad. Those under investigation will presumably include US citizens of Syrian origin.

"The field offices know what they have in terms of sources and investigations, but this is a directive for them to redouble their efforts and check their traps," one highly-placed official told NYT.

Saudi backed Syrian rebels admit gas attack is a result of mishandling chemical weapon

Syrian chemical attack

In a report that is sure to be considered blockbuster news, the rebels told Dale Gavlak, a reporter who has written for the Associated Press, NPR and BBC, they are responsible for the chemical attack last week.

Gavlak is a Middle Eastern journalist who filed the report about the rebels claiming responsibility on the Mint Press News website, which is affiliated with AP.

In that report allegedly the rebels told him the chemical attack was a result of mishandling chemical weapons.

This news should deflate the accusations, against the Assad regime, coming from the U.S., Britain, France and the Arab League.

Since the chemical attacks last week, the Assad government was immediately blamed. On Monday, Secretary of State John Kerry said: That Assad's guilt was "a judgment already clear to the world," according to theguardian.com.

As a result of Assad's government being blamed for the chemical attacks, five U.S. warships are now stationed off Syria's coast. These destroyers are poised to deliver cruise missiles in a strike that is due to begin any time now. According to the report on Mint Press there have been several interviews conducted with people in Damascus and Ghouta, a suburb of the Syrian capital.

The interviews conducted of residents, rebels and their families in Damascus and Ghouta are painting a different picture of what actually happened. Many believe that rebels received chemical weapons provided through the Saudi intelligence chief, Prince Bandar bin Sultan. It's being reported that these weapons are responsible for last week's gas attack.

The father of a rebel who was killed in what's now being called an accident by many in Ghouta and Damascus said: "My son came to me two weeks ago asking what I thought the weapons were that he had been asked to carry," said Abu Abdel-Moneim. The father said at least 12 rebels including his son were killed by the chemical weapons.

Russia sends forces to the Mediterranean

Russia will be sending an anti-submarine ship and a missile cruiser to the Mediterranean "over the next few days" as the West prepares for possible strikes against Syria, the Interfax news agency says.

"The well-known situation shaping up in the eastern Mediterranean called for certain corrections to the make-up of the naval forces," a source in the Russian general staff told Interfax.

"A large anti-submarine ship of the Northern Fleet will join them (the existing naval forces) over the next few days.
