US Border Union head slams Hillary for giving advice to illegal migrants on how to avoid deportation

Clinton
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are set to launch raids on Sunday against undocumented migrants who have existing deportation orders. According to a report by the New York Times, ICE agents are expected to arrest thousands of migrants in 10 major US cities, beginning this weekend.

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd has denounced Hillary Clinton for openly advising illegal immigrants on how to evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in a tweet posted on 11 July, reports the Daily Caller.

Speaking on Fox News Friday, Judd, who leads the Border Patrol's union of nearly 20,000 members, voiced his incredulity at Clinton's audacious move.

"I'm amazed that somebody that ran for president of the United States — that was willing to promise to uphold the laws of the United States, the Constitution of the United States — is now actively helping people avoid justice," said Judd."These people have already been ordered deported. They've already exhausted all their appeals processes through the court system. They're not supposed to be here. They're illegally here, and she's helping them to continue to break the law," Judd said Friday.
"I don't understand how the Left continues to move further and further left to what the American public wants."

Opinion: The Epstein sex scandal may cast a shadow on high-ranking DOJ & FBI officials

Mueller Epstein

Robert Mueller (L) Jeffrey Epstein (R)
Former FBI Director Robert Mueller and a number of top-level Department of Justice officials may find themselves "caught up" in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal, say Wall Street analyst Charles Ortel and the US lawyer known by alias Techno Fog on Twitter.

Billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on 6 July and charged with sex trafficking of minors by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York (SDNY). According to the indictment, the financier, who pleaded not guilty, "sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls" at his mansions in Manhattan and Palm Beach from 2002 to 2005.

The Epstein sex scandal first caught the headlines in the 2000s. In May 2006, Palm Beach police filed a probable cause affidavit stating that Epstein should be charged with four counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and a lewd and lascivious molestation count.

AOC scores own goal in attack on ex-ICE chief over migrant 'family separation'

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was literally left speechless when her attempt to shame a former Immigration and Customs Enforcement director backfired, but that didn't stop her supporters from claiming victory.

Ocasio-Cortez confronted former ICE director Thomas Homan during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Friday, apparently trying to goad him into admitting the inhumanity of splitting up families under the Trump administration's zero tolerance illegal immigration policy.

Comment: Nice to see the upstart, virtue-signalling brat, Ocasio-Cortez, get a richly-deserved public smackdown. Thomas Homans spoke truth to power. Whether or not power is listening is another matter.

Benny Morris tells more about the Israeli conspiracy to cover-up the Nakba

Israeli historian Benny Morris is known for his uncovering of some of Israel's darkest secrets from the Nakba and later. Only a week ago, he was mentioned in detail in Hagar Shezaf's staggering investigative report in Haaretz titled "Burying the Nakba: How Israel Systematically Hides Evidence of 1948 Expulsion of Arabs". The piece uncovered a secret yet systematic operation by an Israeli Defense Ministry department, causing critical Nakba archives to disappear from the public eye - archives that had already been cited since the late 1980's by historians such as Morris.

Yesterday, a Hebrew-only piece appeared in Haaretz, by Morris, titled "The Director of Historical Revisionism in the Defense Ministry". The title is a sarcastic pun on the name of the revealed department, the "Department for Security of the Defense Establishment" (acronym Malmab in Hebrew).

Morris congratulates Shezaf for her "excellent investigative report" and continues to tell in detail of the disappearance of archives he had quoted from concerning the massacre of Deir Yassin from 1948.

Trump confirms ICE raids set for Sunday as cities, advocates brace to respond

ICE police
President Donald Trump confirmed Friday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would conduct weekend raids this Sunday to deport immigrants with outstanding orders to leave the country.

Trump said the raids will target criminals, but immigration advocates say the agency is increasingly targeting families who have recently entered the country. The president did not not give a specific time for when the ICE operations would take place on Sunday.

"There's nothing to be secret about. Can I tell you what? There's nothing to be secret about. ICE is law enforcement, they're great patriots. They have a tough job. Nothing to be secret about," Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday.

"If the word gets out, it gets out. Hundreds of people know about it. It's a major operation. So if the word gets out, it gets out. It starts on Sunday and they're going to take people out and they're going to bring them back to their countries or they're going to take criminals out, put them in prison, or put them in prison in the countries they came from. We're focused on criminals as much as we can before we do anything else," Trump said.

'Destroy caves and shelters': Turkey launches second wave of military op against Kurdish PKK in Iraq

Ankara has launched military operation Claw-2, seeking to destroy PKK hideouts in northern Iraq. The move is part of Turkey's bigger fight against Kurdish militants, which has taken a toll on its relations with Baghdad.

The Turkish army began moving into northern Iraq at 10pm local time on Friday, after conducting airstrikes and shelling the area with artillery, the Defense Ministry said. The goal of this operation, codenamed Claw-2, is "to destroy caves and shelters" used by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey and its NATO allies. The operation is a direct "follow-up" to Claw-1, launched by Ankara in Iraq's Hakurk area in May.

The US administration in league with fanatic Zionism - Palestine doesn't stand a chance

US President Donald Trump (L), Jared Kushner (C), US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and adviser, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
For decades now, the Palestinians have been looking for an 'honest peace broker' to bring an end to their suffering through a negotiated peace agreement with Israel.

However, the image of US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman beaming as he snuck into a tunnel under the Palestinian Jerusalem neighbourhood of Silwan with a couple of sledge hammers to join a settler ceremony to open the tunnel finally exposed the US team as neither honest nor a broker. In fact the image showed a dishonest team of breakers of international law putting peace further and further into the future.

What were Friedman and President Trump's Special representative for international negotiations doing in the name of the American people who they are meant to represent? My own fears about the US team which also includes Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor on the Middle East, were raised back in 2017 when I saw this picture.

Comment: Fanatical Zionists and fanatical evangelicals like Pence are cynically using each other for their own ends. Zionists marshal the considerable clout to be found in America's bible belt to ensure the election of congressmen who will continue to support Israel. Evangelicals support the existence of Israel, in the deluded belief that the construction of the Third Temple will bring about the Second Coming. That this eschatological nonsense produces real suffering is completely lost on those "righteous" Christians and Jews. It's the Lord and Yahweh's will.

Republicans and Democrats agree: No war on Iran (without Congress at least)

The House of Representatives has adopted the 2020 military spending bill, but with an amendment that blocks war on Iran without congressional approval - backed by President Donald Trump's outspoken critics and supporters alike.

A bipartisan amendment to bar the executive branch from offensive action against Iran without explicit authorization from Congress was adopted with a 250-170 vote, with 27 Republicans joining the Democrats in support, and seven Democrats crossing the aisle in opposition.

The amendment was proposed by otherwise unlikely allies: Rep. Ro Khanna (D-California) of the Progressive Caucus, and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) of the Freedom Caucus, one of the most prominent Trump supporters in the House.

"What Ro and I are proposing is not to lay our arms down and make victims or targets out of our service members," Gaetz told Fox News prior to the vote, flanked by Khanna. "We do not believe that any president should be able to lurch into a decades-long war in the absence of approval by Congress."

Comment: Let's see if this makes it through the Senate.

Pentagon speechless on Turkey's S-400 delivery as Congress demands immediate sanctions

As Turkey beamed out images of Russian S-400 air defense systems being delivered, US lawmakers demanded immediate sanctions against Ankara, while the Pentagon and the State Department remained strangely silent.

House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Eliot Engel (D-New York) and ranking member Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) reacted to the delivery of the missiles by declaring that Turkey and its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, "must face stiff consequences."

"President Erdogan was given a very clear choice. Unfortunately, he has clearly made the wrong one. That a NATO ally would choose to side with Russia and Vladimir Putin over the alliance and closer cooperation with the United States is hard to fathom," the duo said in a statement on Friday.
