Newly-disclosed documents have revealed that the Israeli regime stole nuclear material from a US stockpile of enriched uranium to build Tel Aviv's first atomic weapons.

The Institute for Research on Middle Eastern Policy examined hundreds of newly-declassified documents from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other agencies.

The study revealed that Israel used its intelligence operatives in the US as well as American Jews to infiltrate a US uranium stockpile between the 1950s and the 1960s and stole hundreds of kilograms of weapon-grade nuclear materials to manufacture its first atomic bombs.

After decades of Washington-imposed information blackout over the issue, the US Department of Energy finally confirmed in 2001 that 269 kilograms of uranium were stolen from the Numec nuclear facility in Apollo, Pennsylvania .

British-Controlled Monajed Is Source Of All the Press Accounts of How Many Syrians Assad Supposedly Killed

Image
Ausama Monajed
As we have reported previously, the London-based "Syrian Human Rights Observatory" is the single source for all Western press accounts - including those of UN Human Rights Commission head Navi Pillay and Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon - of the numbers of Syrians supposedly killed by Assad every day. The "Syrian Observatory Committee for Human Rights" in turn gets these numbers from the London-based "Strategic Resource and Communications Center," headed by Syrian-born Ausama Monajed.

Who is Monajed? His background makes it clear that not only are these death-counts completely unverified, and not only do they come from the opposition itself, as columnist Phil Giraldi has noted, but that they probably originate from British Intelligence.

As was the case with the Libyan terrorists, LIFG, operating from Britain against the Qaddafi regime, Britain controls the Syrian, Ausama Monajed, head of the London-based Strategic Resource and Communications Center. Monajed, who provides the information to the western media about the "mayhem" committed by the Bashar al-Assad regime, wears many hats and is well-protected by British intelligence. He is a founder-member of the Syrian National Council, the group that is urging the Arab League to remove al-Assad, and Monajed is also a member of the London-based Syrian Observatory Committee for Human Rights.

Egypt to Try Israelis for Arms Trafficking

Egyptian authorities have charged two Israelis as well as a Ukrainian national with smuggling weapons into Egypt.

Egypt's State Prosecutor said in a statement on Monday that the three would be put on trial in a security court usually used for terrorism cases. Although no date has yet been set for the trial.

According to the statement, the smuggled weapons were to be used in "illegal operations aimed to implicate Egyptian security."

In June, Egypt arrested an Israeli for spying during the revolution. The Israeli spy was later freed in a swap deal with Tel Aviv.

UK War on Free Speech

Britain's government-controlled broadcast regulatory body, Ofcom, has decided to ban Press TV's broadcast in an effort to silence the alternative voice in the UK.

The move comes a year after a leaked US Embassy cable highlighted for the first time London and Washington's concerted effort to block Press TV in Britain.

Many observers have noted that the British government's campaign against Press TV has its roots in the channel's extensive coverage of the multiple crises created by London's domestic and foreign policies.

Press TV covered the 2011 Royal Wedding from a critical angle, which highlighted its extravagant costs while many Britons were suffering from great economic hardship. The channel also provided in-depth coverage of the widespread protests and the ensuing unrest that gripped Britain following the police killing of a black man in August.

Propaganda Alert! Al-Qaida in Iraq Says it was Behind Baghdad Blasts

Image

An al-Qaida front group in Iraq has claimed responsibility for the wave of attacks that ripped through markets, cafes and government buildings in Baghdad on a single day last week, killing 69 people and raising new worries about the country's path.

The coordinated attacks struck a dozen mostly Shiite neighborhoods on Thursday in the first major bloodshed since U.S. troops completed a full withdrawal this month after nearly nine years of war. They also coincided with a government crisis that has again strained ties between Iraq's Sunnis and Shiites to the breaking point, tearing at the same fault line that nearly pushed Iraq into all-out civil war several years ago.

The claim of responsibility made no mention of the U.S. withdrawal. Instead, it focused its rage on the country's Shiite-dominated leadership, which Sunni insurgents have battled since it came to power as a result of the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein in 2003.

"The series of special invasions (was) launched ... to support the weak Sunnis in the prisons of the apostates and to retaliate for the captives who were executed," said the statement in the name of the Islamic State of Iraq.

Documents Reveal Israel Stole Uranium from U.S. Stockpiles In 1950s and 1960s

Recently declassified documents analyzed by the Institute for Research on Middle Eastern Policy reveal a suprising fact. The Israeli government used American Jews and its own intelligence agents to infiltrate American uranium stockpiles in the 1950s and 1960s and steal 269 kilograms of weapons-grade material. That led to the creation of the Zionist state's first nuclear bomb.

According to hundreds of documents from the FBI, CIA and other agencies recently declassified under the Freedom of Information Act, the United States contracted oversight of its nuclear materials stockpile to Zalman Shapiro, president of Numec Inc., an Apollo, Pa.-based company that U.S. intelligence suspected had ties to the newly formed Zionist government in Palestine. Over the next 11 years, 269 kilograms of enriched uranium were stolen from the plant in an operation guided by four known Mossad Israeli intelligence agents: Rafael Eitan, Avraham Ben-Dor, Ephraim Biegun and Avraham Hermoni.

Eitan went on to become the Mossad director who commandeered intelligence operations that kidnapped Adolf Eichmann from his home in Argentina in the 1960s. Eitan also headed the Lekem, which is a Jewish intelligence bureau in charge of stealing nuclear secrets from the United States and other nations. Ben-Dor was long considered Eitan's right-hand man, but was forced out of his position in Shin Bet in 1986 for the torture and murder of two Palestinian men in his custody. Hermoni went on to direct "Rafael," which was the program that developed the Zionist nuclear bomb.

Free Syrian Army commanded by Military Governor of Tripoli

Image
Aldel Hakim Belhaj, historic leader of Al Qaeda in Libya, Military Governor of Tripoli, chief of the Free Syrian Army.
In the wake of the "Arab Spring" and NATO interventions, both official and secret, Qatar seeks to impose Islamist leaders wherever possible. This strategy has led it not only to fund the Muslim Brotherhood and to hand Al-Jazeera over to them, but also to support Al Qaeda mercenaries, who will henceforth oversee the Free Syrian Army. However, this new scenario raises serious concerns in Israel and among the supporters of the "clash of civilizations."

The UN Security Council members are at loggerheads over the interpretation of the events that are rocking Syria. On one hand, France, the United Kingdom and the United States claim that a revolution has swept the country, in the aftermath of the "Arab Spring", and suffering a bloody crackdown. On the other hand, Russia's and China's take is that Syria is having to cope with armed gangs from abroad, which it is fighting awkwardly thereby causing collateral victims among the civilian population it seeks to protect.

The on-the-spot investigation undertaken by Voltaire Network validated the latter interpretation [1]. We have collected eyewitness testimonies from those who survived an armed attack by a foreign gangs. They describe them as being Iraqis, Jordanians or Libyans, recognizable by their accent, as well as Pashtun.

Best of the Web: 2011 - Year of the Dupe

A timeline & history: One year into the engineered "Arab Spring," one step closer to global hegemony
dupe (ˈdüp also ˈdyüp)
n.
1. An easily deceived person.
2. A person who functions as the tool of another person or power.
tr.v. duped, dup·ing, dupes To deceive (an unwary person).
December 24, 2011 - In January of 2011, we were told that "spontaneous," "indigenous" uprising had begun sweeping North Africa and the Middle East in what was hailed as the "Arab Spring." It would be almost four months before the corporate-media would admit that the US had been behind the uprisings and that they were anything but "spontaneous," or "indigenous." In an April 2011 article published by the New York Times titled, "U.S. Groups Helped Nurture Arab Uprisings," it was stated:
"A number of the groups and individuals directly involved in the revolts and reforms sweeping the region, including the April 6 Youth Movement in Egypt, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and grass-roots activists like Entsar Qadhi, a youth leader in Yemen, received training and financing from groups like the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute and Freedom House, a nonprofit human rights organization based in Washington."

Syrian Muslim Brotherhood claims Damascus bombings

Image
Cui Bono?
Syria's Muslim Brotherhood claimed responsibility on Saturday for two suicide bombings in Damascus that killed 44 people a day earlier.

"One of our victorious Sunni brigades was able to target the state security building in Kfar Suseh in the heart of the Omayyad capital Damascus in a successful operation carried out by four of our kamikazes drawn from the best of our glorious men, leaving many dead and wounded from the ranks of the Assad gangs," it said on its official website.

The claim contradicted accusations by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad that the bombings, which also wounded 166 people, were the work of Al-Qaeda. The opposition Syrian National Council that the regime had carried them out.

London-based "Syrian Observatory" Consorting Directly with UK Foreign Minister Hague

December 26, 2011 - In May 2011's article "The Siege of Syria," it was reported:
"The coverage by the corporate-owned Western media exclusively relies on "activists inside and outside the country," the London-based "Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Centre" which apparently has no web presence, the Damascus Center for Human Rights which boasts memberships with the National Endowment for Democracy and Tides Foundation-funded International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, funded by the European Union, the Ford Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Open Society Institute, the Sigrid Rausing Trust, and Humanity United.

Humanity United in turn boast partnerships with the BBC World Service Trust, NED/Open Society/US State Department-funded Benetech, the Open Society Institute, and the NED-funded Solidarity Center which mobilized Egypt's labor unions just as the US-stoked unrest began to falter. In other words, every organization involved interlocks with the vast corporate/foundation-funded imperial network masquerading as individual "human rights organizations" and benign NGOs. In reality this "civil society" network seeks to supplant national governments, and interface with global "institutions" like the IMF, World Bank, and the UN, all of which have been contrived by corporate-financier oligarchs. It is a modern day empire in the making."
