Poroshenko dreaming: Visa-free regime will make Donbass and Crimea want to rejoin Ukraine

Petro Poroshenko
"Poroshenko shares way to return Donbass and Crimea"

The residents of Donbass and Crimea will want to rejoin Ukraine after it obtains a free-visa regime with the European Union. Such are the words of the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, as provided by his official website.

In his opinion, Ukrainians will obtain the right to visit the EU without visas in the next year, and this will also influence the attitude of Donbass and Crimea residents.

"This is an additional incentive for returning the government to Donbass, and one of the first elements of the strategy to return Crimea. We should win the opinions of Crimeans in this fight, because in Donbass, I am sure, it will be easier."

Norwegian Police Security Service confirm 272 terrorists have already entered Europe, 150 more on their way

ISIL
Daesh (Islamic State) trained two groups of terrorists to carry out attacks in Europe, Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet reported.

One of the groups reportedly included suicide bombers, while another group prepared radicals for terrorist attacks, similar to those in Paris.

According to Dagbladet, the first group of terrorists have already arrived in Europe and have gone underground. The second group recently completed training in a military camp, but is still in Syria.

A commander of the Iraqi volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) revealed that a mobile phone found with one of the killed ISIL ringleaders proved the Turkish spy agency's support for the terrorist group.

"The mobile phone was found with one of the killed ISIL leaders in the Northern parts of Salahuddin province two days ago," Jabbar al-Ma'mouri told Soumeriya news on Monday.

He said that the mobile set and history files contain messages from the Turkish intelligence agency which show that Ankara supports the ISIL terrorist group through providing security at the points of entry used by ISIL militants from Turkey to Iraq.

"The mobile phone also contains other important information which cannot be disclosed now, and it has been delivered to the specialized security groups for further scrutiny," Ma'mouri said.

Military source announces Iraqi army positions in Anbar Province hit by Canadian fighter jet

Canadian jets
Military sources announced on Monday that the warplane that bombarded the Iraqi army's military positions in Anbar province on Sunday belonged to Canada's Air Force.

The announcement came after Arab media outlets reported that a fighter jet of the US-led coalition has hit Iraqi forces' positions again.

"The warplane that hit the Iraqi army positions in the city of Fallujah in Al-Anbar province was Canadian," the Arabic-language al-Soumeria news website quoted an Iraqi military source as saying today.

Nine Iraqi Security Forces soldiers were confirmed dead in an errant US airstrike last week in support of ground troops in al-Naimiyah, Fallujah. Over 20 total deaths and 30 injuries have been reported in the incident.

Plus we examine the media's role in spreading disinformation ahead of a vote in Parliament for UK bombing of Syria. Afshin looks at the Autumn Statement and why in a time of high alert we are cutting the police force and buying drones.

Comment: As John says of Western actions - "Propaganda is so powerful now. I've never known really, a time when propaganda has played such an important part."

He backdates this to 2003.

If Jesus was born today in the American Police State

"Two thousand years later ... the memory of the revolutionary zealot who walked across Galilee gathering an army of disciples with the goal of establishing the Kingdom of God on earth, the magnetic preacher who defied the authority of the Temple priesthood in Jerusalem, the radical Jewish nationalist who challenged the Roman occupation and lost, has been almost completely lost to history." ― Reza Aslan, religious scholar

The Christmas narrative of a baby born in a manger is a familiar one.

The Roman Empire, a police state in its own right, had ordered that a census be conducted. Joseph and his pregnant wife Mary traveled to the little town of Bethlehem so that they could be counted. There being no room for the couple at any of the inns, they stayed in a stable, where Mary gave birth to a baby boy. That boy, Jesus, would grow up to undermine the political and religious establishment of his day and was eventually crucified as a warning to others not to challenge the powers-that-be.

But what if Jesus, the revered preacher, teacher, radical and prophet, had been born 2,000 years later? How would Jesus' life have been different had he be born and raised in the American police state?

Consider the following if you will.

Had Jesus been born in the year 2015...

Rather than traveling to Bethlehem for a census, Jesus' parents would have been mailed a 28-page American Community Survey, a mandatory government questionnaire documenting their habits, household inhabitants, work schedule, and even how many toilets were in their home, etc. The penalty for not responding to this invasive survey would have resulted in a fine of $5,000.

Instead of being born in a manger, Jesus might have been born at home. Rather than wise men and shepherds bringing gifts, however, the baby's parents might have been forced to ward off visits from state social workers intent on prosecuting them for the home birth. One couple in Washington had all three of their children removed after social services objected to the two youngest being birthed in an unassisted home delivery.

Had Jesus been born in a hospital, his blood and DNA would have been taken and entered into a government biobank without his parents' knowledge or consent. While most states require newborn screening, a growing number are indefinitely holding onto that genetic material long-term for research, analysis and purposes yet to be disclosed.

Then again, had his parents been undocumented immigrants, they and the newborn baby might have been shuffled to a profit-driven, private detention center for illegals. There's quite a lot of money to be made from imprisoning immigrants, especially when taxpayers are footing the bill.

Bashar al-Assad: The vilification of Syria's democratically elected president

Bashar al-Assad

"Butcher"; "thug"; "dictator"; "murderer"; "savage"; "tyrant"; "oppressor"; "despot". These are just some of the words that many in the Western world associate with the Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, after four years of incessant and hypnotic war propaganda. Democratically elected leader of a sovereign country however, is not a narrative the propagandists want to be circulated. The 2014 election in Syria is an event that the 'Ministry of Truth' in the West desperately wants to be memory-holed, as it runs in stark contrast to the narrative they are still trying to inculcate in the minds of the public.

The sealed entry to the Nato Counter-Intelligence Centre of Excellence in Warsaw.
Polish military police have raided a Nato-affiliated counterintelligence centre in Warsaw in the latest of a series of moves by the country's new rightwing government to consolidate its hold on power.

The raid took place at 1.30am on Friday at the temporary offices of the Nato Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence. According to the Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, senior aides of Antoni Macierewicz, the defence minister, accompanied by military police, entered the building using a duplicate key.

The centre's night staff called the director, Col Krzysztof Dusza, but he was prevented from entering. A defence ministry spokesman said Dusza had not responded to an order to step down from the post.

Comment: Polish officials seem feverishly eager to put their country at risk by entertaining NATO's power-hungry lies. This latest power grab looks like another symptom of their illness. Check out:

Russia has no right to leave the Russian-speaking Donbass residents at the mercy of nationalists, the President Putin said. He added that the West in fact is trying to shift the financial support of Ukraine to Russia.

Moscow will not leave Russian and Russian-speaking people in eastern Ukraine to deal with local nationalists, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a documentary aired Sunday on Rossiya 1 television channel.

"We cannot leave the people residing in south-eastern Ukraine at the mercy of nationalists. It's not only the Russians, but also other Russian-speaking people, who rely on Russia," Putin said.

Comment: Thanks to NATO it's not just the neo-Nazis in Ukraine that residents have to worry about:
