Turkish-ISIS Oil Trade: U.S. and NATO guilt

turkey isis
See Part I, Part II, Part III

The Turkish government is not acting alone in Syria and Iraq. The corrupt leadership of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Britain, Israel, and the United States are also involved. They have all played direct or indirect roles in the theft of oil too. After the role of Turkey in stealing oil from Syria and Iraq was revealed, the US government began work to mask and conceal the oil smuggling operations.

US and NATO Culpability

On December 1, Alexander Grushko, the Russian permanent representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Headquarters, pointed out that the US and NATO gave «political cover» to Turkey for its attack on Russia's Sukhoi Su-24M bomber jet in Syria. On the same day, Russian parliamentarian Irina Yarovaya pointed out that the military alliance is also involved in protecting ISIL and theft of Iraqi and Syrian oil. NATO's response to the Turkish incursion into Iraq was also muted, even after Iraq' Prime Minister Al-Abadi called NATO Secretariat on December 8 asking it to get NATO member Turkey to withdraw its forces.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is somehow charitable?
A friend and I were discussing all the horrible ramifications of the decision of Mark Zuckerberg and his wife to "give away" 99% of their Facebook stock. The money is not even going into a charity, I told him. It's going into a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) where it can be used to generate more profit. "However bad it is," my friend said, "look for it to be worse." So true. How "worse" is it? Allow me to enumerate:

Exposing the lies: Russia releases evidence that German media hired actors to lie about Ukrainian conflict

Russia is charging that the biggest German channel ZDF hired actors to portray separatist soldiers, allegedly paid by Russia, in a major documentary film about Putin which was released a week ago.

Just when you thought the Russophobic propaganda put out by Western mainstream media couldn't possibly get any worse or more hysterically absurd, German state-run US-sponsored TV channel ZDF has exceeded all bounds.

Not satisfied with the truth of what's really happening in Ukraine's war-torn Donbass region, they decided to hire actors to show exactly what they wanted their audience to believe about Russia's supposed involvement. Or at least that is what Russia's channel 1 is charging in an explosive expose that verges on the unbelievable.

If true, the allegations are sure to set off an uproar in Germany, where crassly dishonest reporting about Russia coming out of the main media companies has become a national scandal and a serious political liability for Angela Merkel, who many observers say is about to lose power due to a series of missteps over the last several months. This could be the final nail in her political coffin.

Comment: It's one thing to mindlessly parrot Washington's anti-Russian propaganda, but hiring actors in order to cover up an ethnic cleansing and spread twisted tales about the 'revived Soviet Empire' is downright psychopathic. Great job ZDF - hopefully this will wake more of the West up to these genocidal lies.

Russian MoD: Statement by Turkish diplomat officially acknowledges attack on Su-24 was a planned step

A recent statement by a Turkish official revealing detailed awareness of Russian Air Force sorties in Syria can be regarded as "official acknowledgment" that the operation to down the Su-24 was a planned step, Russia's Ministry of Defense said.

"When on November 24 the Turkish fighter jet treacherously fired a rocket at our Su-24, the Turkish General Staff was perfectly aware about when and where our two bombers would be carrying out their mission," ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov told journalists on Wednesday.

The statement recently made by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus in which he provides information on Russian sorties in Syria, "can be regarded as official acknowledgment by Turkey that the operation to destroy the Russian jet in Syria and kill Russian soldiers was a planned step," he said.

Ankara's awareness of Russian military operations in Syria confirms that all intelligence given to the US under the memorandum signed between the two countries and regulating the operations of their air forces in Syria was passed to the Turkish General Staff, he added.

Comment: Russia has known this all along, and has responded accordingly by bringing their S-400 defense system to Syria to protect the Syrian airspace. Turkey should know that they had only one shot at the Russian jets.

The intelligence service of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) detected the presence of foreign mercenaries in the eastern Ukrainian cities of Artemovsk and Mariupol, a spokesperson of DPR's Defense Ministry said Wednesday.

"A group of about 100 Turkish mercenaries have arrived in Mariupol. Their main aim is to carry out subversive and inflammatory activities targeting both military and civilian sites in coastal areas in [both] the DPR and Russia," the spokesperson told reporters.

The spokesperson added that some 200 mercenaries with identifying insignia of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but speaking in Polish, Slovak and Turkish languages, arrived in Artemovsk.

Dodgy Amnesty report claims Russian raids in Syria may amount to war crimes

Amnesty International said on Wednesday that nearly three months of Russian air raids in Syria have killed hundreds of civilians, many in targeted strikes that could constitute war crimes.

Some "appear to have directly attacked civilians or civilian objects by striking residential areas with no evident military target and even medical facilities, resulting in deaths and injuries to civilians," Amnesty Middle East and North Africa director Philip Luther said in a statement.

"Such attacks may amount to war crimes," he said, adding that it "is crucial that suspected violations are independently and impartially investigated".

Putin: The West's current policies towards Russia are due to irrational Cold War mentality

Putin

The West's actions in post-Soviet space can be explained by a fear of the recreation of the USSR, despite nobody in the region even considering this, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a documentary, premiered on the Rossiya 1 channel on Sunday.

"Even the hypothetical possibility of joining efforts" by former Soviet states within the modern integration processes "deprives [many in the West] of good and deep sleep," Putin told Vladimir Soloviev, prominent Russian TV journalist and author of the 'Miroporyadok' (World Order) film.

"It's no secret that everything was done in order to prevent the creation of a common economic space between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus - the Customs Union. Until recently, they didn't want to talk to the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia) as a full-fledged participant in international affairs," he said.

However, the West has now begun to realize the "destructiveness" of this approach, the president stressed.

The meddling of the US and its allies in Ukraine can be explained by a fear of the USSR's resurrection, rather than care for the Ukrainian people, as is being stated, he added.

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, & Washington's new plans to carve up the Middle East

Yemen
© Unknown
We're about to be plunged into a new oil war in the Middle East, this one with a possible nuclear dimension. Wars for control of oil have been instigated for more than a century since the dawn of the petroleum era around the time of the First World War. This war for control of oil, however, promises to be of a scale that will change world politics in a spectacular and highly destructive manner. It is on one level, a Saudi war to redraw the national borders of the infamous Anglo-French Sykes-Picot carve-up of the bankrupt Ottoman Turkish Empire of 1916. This new war has as its foolish goal bringing the oil fields and pipeline routes of Iraq and Syria, and perhaps more of the region, under direct Saudi control, with Qatar and Erdogan's Turkey as Riyadh's partners in crime. Unfortunately, as in all wars, there will be no winners.

The EU will be a major loser as will the present citizens of Iraq and Syria, as well as the Kurdish Turkish and the very different Kurdish Syrian populations for starters. Erdogan's Turkish "sultanate" will be destroyed at a great cost to lives and peace, as will King Salman's pre-feudal Kingdom as an influence in world power games. First they will fall into a deadly trap that has been carefully prepared for them by NATO.

It's necessary to look more closely at the elements and key players preparing this new war, a war which it is likely will not last beyond perhaps the summer of 2016.
