Three members of the White House coronavirus taskforce have placed themselves in self-quarantine after contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. It comes as the British prime minister, Boris Johnson, prepares to unveil his "roadmap" to a new normality in a national broadcast and global infections pass four million.

Dr Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, Stephen Hahn, are all expected to work remotely due to potential exposure to Covid-19.

Fauci's institute said that he has tested negative for Covid-19 and will continue to be tested regularly. It added that he is considered at relatively low risk based on the degree of his exposure, and that he would be taking appropriate precautions to mitigate the risk to personal contacts while still carrying out his duties. While he will stay at home and telework, Fauci will go to the White House if called and take every precaution, the institute said.

Netanyahu's nightmare scenario to MKs: If it reinfects, the virus could 'end humanity'!

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu
At the height of Israel's battle against COVID-19 last month, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned several Knesset members from his Likud party that if reports from overseas of patients who had recovered from the virus again testing positive for it were accurate, humanity could be wiped out, a TV report claimed on Friday night.

"There are reports from overseas about reinfection," Channel 12 news said the unnamed Likud MKs recalled Netanyahu saying. "If this is true," the prime minister reportedly went on, "the significance could be the end of humanity." Others with whom the prime minister spoke to, the TV report said, do not remember him using that precise phrase, but say he warned that the pandemic could lead to "scenarios of global anarchy."

The extraordinary quotes were part of a report on the warnings reportedly delivered by Netanyahu and Israel's Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman-Tov to cabinet ministers and others handling the crisis in recent weeks. Imposing stringent lockdown policies since March, Israel has kept its death toll down to 245, and 11,000 of its 16,400 cases have recovered. In the last few days, it has been gradually easing many restrictions.

Comment: Is Netanyahu's concern of failing immunity a valid one, given immunities are gained naturally in the exposure process? Or perhaps planting fear better serves to 'immunize governments' from public blame for extending lockdowns and Draconian measures.

'Radical Transformation': Supreme Court unanimously overrules the Ninth Circuit for 'abuse of discretion'

Justice Ginsburg
© T.J. Kirkpatrick/The New York Times
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in October in Washington, D.C.
In an unanimous opinion, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg excoriated the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit for "an abuse of discretion" when it brought in third parties to argue the case and ruled on that basis. That approach "drastically" changed the judicial norms of having the parties present arguments. The Ninth Circuit opinion was written by A. Wallace Tashima who ruled with Marsha S. Berzon, and Andrew D. Hurwitz. Hurwitz was brought into the case after Judge Stephen Reinhardt died.

The case involves the conviction of Evelyn Sineneng-Smith for violating a federal law related to encouraging illegal immigration. The Ninth Circuit reversed but not before the court named three amici and invited them to brief and argue the issues. The third added amici were the Federal Defender Organizations of the Ninth Circuit, the Immigrant Defense Project[,] and the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild."

12 revelations that destroyed Mueller's case against Flynn

Flynn FBI Notes
© John Solomon
FBI handwritten notes and emails turned over to Michael Flynn's lawyers.
Shortly after my colleague Sara Carter and I began reporting in 2017 on the possibility that the FBI was abusing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to spy on Americans during the Russia investigation, I received a call. It was an intermediary for someone high up in the intelligence community.

The story that source told me that day — initially I feared it may have been too spectacular to be true — was that FBI line agents had actually cleared former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn of any wrongdoing with Russia only to have the bureau's leadership hijack the process to build a case that he lied during a subsequent interview.

In fact, my notes show, the source used the words "concoct a 1001 false statements case" to describe the objections of career agents who did not believe Flynn had intended to deceive the FBI. A leak of a transcript of Flynn's call with the Russian ambassador was just part of a campaign, the source alleged.

John Podesta admits in testimony that DNC and Hillary campaign split cost for phony Trump-Russia 'dossier'

Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton and the DNC both claimed they knew nothing about the Trump-Russia dossier when it was published by Buzzfeed in January 2017.

The New York Times — famous for their fake news — reported that Hillary and the DNC were unaware that their law firm Perkins Coie was working on the dossier.
Officials from the Clinton campaign and the D.N.C. have said they were unaware that Perkins Coie facilitated the research on their behalf, even though the law firm was using their money to pay for it. Even Mrs. Clinton only found about Mr. Steele's research after Buzzfeed published the dossier, according to two associates who discussed the matter with her.
But that was all another Hillary Clinton lie.

Comment: Though 2017 was oh, so long ago, it's worth reviewing some of the shenanigans going on at the time, and how important Wikileaks was to how events developed.

Current state of the ICC investigation of war crimes in occupied Palestine

The Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Riyad al-Maliki, leaves the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, on 25 June, 2015
Fatou Bensouda, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), has, once and for all, settled the doubts on the Court's jurisdiction to investigate war crimes committed in occupied Palestine.

On April 30, Bensouda released a 60-page document diligently laying down the legal bases for that decision, concluding that "the Prosecution has carefully considered the observations of the participants, and remains of the view that the Court has jurisdiction over the Occupied Palestinian Territory."

Bensouda's legal explanation was itself a preemptive decision, dating back to December 2019, as the ICC Prosecutor must have anticipated an Israeli-orchestrated pushback against the investigation of war crimes committed in the Occupied Territories.

FBI memo exonerating Flynn proves need to investigate Comey's corrupt 'confidential human sources': Start with Halper

Halper Lokhova Flynn russiagate

(L-R) Stefan Halper, Svetlana Lokhova, Michael Flynn
Recently released documents confirm that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) framed Michael Flynn and that the special counsel's office (and later federal prosecutors) improperly withheld material exculpatory evidence from Flynn's defense attorneys. However, two lesser-noticed realities also came into focus with last week's unsealing of the FBI's closing memorandum on the Flynn investigation: The FBI had no proper predication for launching its investigation into Flynn, and the confidential human source ("CHS") debriefed as part of the Flynn probe should be thoroughly investigated for making false statements to the FBI.

Last week, Flynn's attorney, Sidney Powell, filed a second supplement to the still-pending motion to dismiss the criminal case against the former Trump national security adviser. More than two years ago, while being represented by attorneys from Covington & Burling, Flynn pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador.

Since Powell took over Flynn's representation, she has been demanding complete disclosure of all documentation surrounding the investigation into Flynn, but to no avail — that is, until Attorney General William Barr appointed an outside U.S. attorney to review the Flynn investigation.

Comment: Halper, long associated with spooks on both sides of the Atlantic, is one of the slimier snakes in the snakepit . With Flynn's stated goal of cleaning up the NSA, it's not hard to make the leap that Halper was tapped by his intell friends to help take Flynn and by extension, Trump down.

Syria spinmeisters fumble attempts to change narrative and manage OPCW leaks on facts of Douma chemical attack

OPCW
It's been over 72 hours since The Grayzone published new leaks further exposing how the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has been lying about its investigation into an alleged chemical attack in Douma, Syria two years ago.

These new documents make it abundantly clear that OPCW leadership were just plain lying when they claimed that a ballistics expert named Ian Henderson was not a part of the Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) in Douma and played only a "minor supporting role" there. Henderson disagrees with the organisation's official findings implicating the Syrian government in a chlorine gas attack, finding instead that the gas cylinders on the scene were "manually placed", indicating that the crime scene was staged and the dozens of civilians killed were the victims of a still-unsolved mass murder.

The silence on these revelations from the OPCW and its usual narrative managers has been deafening.

Brennan lashes out as Trump warns more documents exposing spygate cabal will be coming out soon

John Brennan
Former CIA Director and Spygate ringleader John Brennan lashed out at President Trump on Saturday after the DOJ dropped its case against Flynn.

The Justice Department dropped its case against General Mike Flynn Thursday after bombshell documents released proved he was framed by Comey's FBI.

The DOJ said in its motion to dismiss that "The interview of Mr. Flynn was untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn."

During an interview on Fox & Friends Friday morning, co-host Brian Kilmeade asked Trump, "Why did it take a judge to release these [Flynn] documents and where was the FBI Director Chris Wray? Why did he not put this out?"

Comment: We are really seeing a "with my last breath I spit at thee" moment as the truth begins to enfold around deeply corrupt former CIA Director John Brennan - and his leading of the egregiously political and deceptive Russiagate hoax designed to destroy Trump. May Brennan get the justice he deserves.

US blocks vote on UN's bid for global ceasefire over reference to WHO

The US has blocked a vote on a UN security council resolution calling for a global ceasefire during the Covid-19 pandemic, because the Trump administration objected to an indirect reference to the World Health Organization.

The security council has been wrangling for more than six weeks over the resolution, which was intended to demonstrate global support for the call for a ceasefire by the UN secretary general, António Guterres. The main source for the delay was the US refusal to endorse a resolution that urged support for the WHO's operations during the coronavirus pandemic.

Donald Trump has blamed the WHO for the pandemic, claiming (without any supporting evidence) that it withheld information in the early days of the outbreak.
