Isaac Herzog has been elected Israel's eleventh president, winning a sizeable majority of 87 votes from the Knesset's 120 seats. The vote comes as several parties race to form a new government before midnight.

On Wednesday, Isaac Herzog beat Miriam Peretz, a social activist and prize-winning educator, to win the presidency and succeed Reuven Rivlin when his term ends on July 9. Herzog, who had been touted as the favorite, won 87 votes from the 120 MKs.

Three MKs abstained, three votes were disqualified, and one MK did not vote. Peretz herself won 26 votes.

Herzog will become the first Israeli president to be the son of a president himself. His father, Chaim Herzog, was Israel's sixth president, holding power between 1983 and 1993.

The vote comes as opposition parties draw ever nearer to ousting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has held the post for 12 years. An opposition coalition has been given until midnight on Wednesday to form a new government after Netanyahu himself failed to do so.

Israel is reportedly about to ask for another $1 billion in military aid from the Biden administration to replenish Iron Dome batteries.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham says that Israel will ask for another $1 billion in military aid in the United States this week. This request comes just two weeks after the Biden administration approved a $735 million arms sale to the country on top of the $3.8 billion in military aid the U.S. sends to Israel annually.

Graham made these comments on the show Fox and Friends. "There is going to be a request made by the Israelis to the Pentagon on Thursday for $1 billion in aid to replenish Iron Dome batteries," he told the hosts. "It will be a good investment for the American people. I will make sure in the Senate that they get the money."

Graham was in Israel meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz yesterday.

They control what we eat, they control what we watch on television, they own most of the stores that we shop at, they provide the energy that our nation depends upon, and they make almost all of the products that we use. Tens of millions of Americans make a living by serving these colossal firms, and at this point some of the biggest corporations are larger than many small countries. But of course the corporations aren't the top of the food chain. They have owners, and there are 3 giant financial companies that the global elite use to control 88 percent of the corporations that are currently listed on the S&P 500.

The three financial companies that I am talking about are BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street.

According to CNN, those companies have a combined 15 trillion dollars in combined assets under management...
BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street manage a stunning $15 trillion in combined assets, equivalent to more than three-quarters the size of the US economy.
But that is actually an old number.

I wanted to come up with a newer number, and so I started digging.

The ransomware attack on JBS, probably by a Russia-based group, has disrupted meat production in North America and Australia

A ransomware attack against the world's largest meatpacking company that has disrupted meat production in North America and Australia originated from a criminal organization probably based in Russia, the White House was informed on Tuesday.

The attack on Brazil's JBS caused its Australian operations to shut down on Monday and has stopped livestock slaughter at its plants in several US states.

The ransomware attack follows one last month on Colonial Pipeline, the largest fuel pipeline in the United States, that crippled fuel delivery for several days in the US south-east.

The White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said JBS had given details of the hack to the White House, that the United States had contacted Russia's government about the matter and that the FBI was investigating.

Comment: Hmmm, two major cyber attacks on two crucial industries in the US in as many months. Quick -- someone tell the White House and the Globalist Technocrats that we need better cyber protection right away! They should all be meeting about this and preparing for more devastating attacks we might be vulnerable to. Oh wait, the WEF has been planning just such a security meeting already. Citing an unidentified source, Yonhap News Agency on Tuesday said that Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, established a first secretary post during a Supreme People's Assembly meeting in Pyongyang in January. There has been speculation over who will hold the position, with some sources naming his sister, Kim Yo Jong, as a candidate.

"In case of an emergency, including those involving leader Kim's health, Kim Yo Jong is likely to take up this deputy position and act temporarily as the successor until power is handed over to Kim Jong-un's son," former Unification Minister Lee Jong-seok told reporters during an online briefing Tuesday according to Yonhap.

A year ago, the idea that Covid-19 leaked from a lab in Wuhan - a short distance from the wet market that is usually claimed to be the source of the virus - was dismissed as a crackpot theory, supported only by Donald Trump, QAnon and hawks on the right looking to escalate tensions dangerously with China.

Now, after what has been effectively a year-long blackout of the lab-leak theory by the corporate media and the scientific establishment, President Joe Biden has announced an investigation to assess its credibility. And as a consequence, what was treated until a few weeks ago as an unhinged, rightwing conspiracy is suddenly being widely aired and seriously considered by liberals.

Defence minister Gantz says his military chief was speaking in figurative terms when he accused AP reporters of drinking coffee with Hamas in Gaza's al-Jalaa tower.

Israel's defence minister has distanced himself from comments made by his military chief after Israel bombed a Gaza Strip high-rise housing Al Jazeera and The Associated Press offices as well as other news outlets, saying the remarks were not meant to be taken literally.

In an article published on the website of Israel's Channel 12 news over the weekend, the military chief of staff, Lieutenant-General Aviv Kohavi, was quoted as saying "the building was destroyed justly" and he did not have a "gram of regret".

The article claimed Hamas used various floors of the al-Jalaa tower for "significant electronic warfare" meant to disrupt Israeli air force GPS communications.

President Joe Biden faced criticism on Tuesday over remarks that he made while speaking in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on race-related issues, saying that black entrepreneurs are "just as capable" as white entrepreneurs, but they don't have lawyers or accountants.

"The data shows young black entrepreneurs are just as capable of succeeding given the chance as white entrepreneurs are," Biden said. "But they don't have lawyers. They don't have, they don't have accountants, but they have great ideas.

"Does anyone doubt this whole nation be better off from the investments those people make?" he continued. "And I promise you that's why I set up this National Small Business Administration that's much broader because they're going to get those loans."

Comment: Why do his handlers still allow Biden out in public? He is a walking PR nightmare and corrupt to the bone, not to mention a danger to women and children.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said Tuesday that former President Donald Trump "has been telling a number of people he's in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August."

Haberman tweeted a video Tuesday from CNN that showed apparently QAnon-influenced Trump supporters expressing support for a Myanmar-style coup to reinstate the former president. Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn denied advocating for such a coup on Monday following reports that he had done so at a recent convention, according to The Hill.

An audience member asked why a coup had not happened in the U.S. Flynn responded, "No reason. I mean it, it should happen here." He has since reportedly said there is "NO reason whatsoever for any coup in American, and I do not and have not at any time called for any action of that sort."

For instance, the U.S. Postal Service, which has been photographing the exterior of every piece of paper mail for the past 20 years, is also spying on Americans' texts, emails and social media posts. Headed up by the Postal Service's law enforcement division, the Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP) is reportedly using facial recognition technology, combined with fake online identities, to ferret out potential troublemakers with "inflammatory" posts. The agency claims the online surveillance, which falls outside its conventional job scope of processing and delivering paper mail, is necessary to help postal workers avoid "potentially volatile situations."
