Puppet Masters
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer issued three subpoenas Thursday night for the personal and business bank records belonging to President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, and brother, James Biden, as part of the House impeachment inquiry.
Comer, R-Ky., who signaled earlier this month his intention to subpoena those records, did so just hours after the first hearing as part of the House impeachment inquiry against President Biden.
Fox News Digital reviewed the subpoenas. The subpoenas have redactions over the names of the banks. It is unclear which financial institutions were subpoenaed for these records.
The subpoenas compel records, including account statements, direct deposits, deposits, cashier checks, wire transfers, electronic transfer payments, credit and debit card records, loan documents and other records related to Hunter Biden; his shell companies Owasco, P.C. and Owasco, LLC; Skaneateles; business associate Eric Schwerin; James Biden; Lion Hall Group, LLC: and JBBSR, Inc.
"The EEOC investigated Tesla after EEOC Chair Charlotte A. Burrows filed a commissioner's charge alleging that Tesla violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by subjecting Black employees to an unlawful hostile work environment and retaliating against employees for opposing harassment. Title VII prohibits racial harassment and requires employers who receive harassment complaints to take prompt and appropriate action to investigate and stop it." The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said in a statement on Thursday.
Via the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission:
Electric car maker Tesla, Inc., violated federal law by tolerating widespread and ongoing racial harassment of its Black employees and by subjecting some of these workers to retaliation for opposing the harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.
According to the EEOC's suit, since at least 2015 to the present, Black employees at Tesla's Fremont, California manufacturing facilities have routinely endured racial abuse, pervasive stereotyping, and hostility as well as epithets such as variations of the N-word, "monkey," "boy," and "black b*tch." Slurs were used casually and openly in high-traffic areas and at worker hubs. Black employees regularly encountered graffiti, including variations of the N-word, swastikas, threats, and nooses, on desks and other equipment, in bathroom stalls, within elevators, and even on new vehicles rolling off the production line, the EEOC said.
The EEOC's investigation also found that those who raised objections to racial hostility suffered various forms of retaliation, including terminations, changes in job duties, transfers, and other adverse employment actions.
Comment: Guess Elon's been mouthing off too much about Ukraine and open borders and calling out the politically deserving. Plus he's pretty much allowing free speech on X, even to the point of (horrors!), reinstating RT and (gasp!) Donald Trump. What else is there to do besides crush him?
It will cease to exist on 1 January 2024 - also the first day of the Russian presidency of BRICS 11.
All autonomous state structures will be dissolved - according to a decree signed by the head of the Republic, Samvel Shahramanyan.
The population - roughly 147,000, 99% of them Armenian Christians - has a choice that's not really a choice: "familiarize themselves with the conditions of reintegration presented by the Republic of Azerbaijan" and stay, or leave to Armenia for good.
Predictably, the exodus is on: an interminable serpent of vehicles congesting the mountain roads of a beautiful landscape where generations of Armenians lived for centuries. As of Thursday night, over 70,000 Armenians had left towards the Syunik region.
The Azeri government in Baku sent police/security forces to Stepanakert. Former Foreign Minister Ruben Vardanyan, an oligarch, was detained by Azeri security while trying to leave for Armenia, mingling with refugees. He had renounced Russian citizenship last year when he moved to work in Artsakh. He'll probably be freed.
Others won't be so lucky. Everyone leaving is being exhaustively searched. Baku has warned that every Artsakh notable - political and military - will be captured.
This is how it sadly ends: the story of how a bunch of crooks - Team Pashinyan in Yerevan - profited personally from a geopolitical pretext.
Armenian PM Pashinyan announced that in a few days he'll consider there are no more Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh. Translation: those that decided to stay will be considered to be Azerbaijanis.
Yesterday, the Democrat clowns on the US House Oversight Committee completely humiliated themselves as they attempted to sweep the Biden Crime Family's international influence-peddling operation under the rug by repeatedly citing President Trump's name, who had nothing to do with the inquiry.
During her 5 minutes of questioning, Rep. Lisa McClain (MI), a Republican US House Oversight Committee member, showed exactly why she is among the most badass women in Washington, D.C.
Subpoenaed documents show that Hunter Biden used Joe Biden's Delaware home address as the beneficiary address for payments from two Chinese nationals, according to the House Oversight Committee. The bank wires also showed the transactions took place in 2019 when Joe was running for president.
Hunter's attorney tried to explain it away:
In his statement, [Abbe] Lowell said the bank transfers resulted from loans Hunter Biden received from a private individual, and they referenced his father's Delaware address because it was on his personal driver's license at the time.Um, what? I thought Hunter lived in California. Why was he living at his dad's home?
Lowell said Hunter Biden borrowed the funds while making "a substantial investment" in a partnership called BHR Partners.
"We expect more occasions where the Republican chairs twist the truth to mislead people to promote their fantasy political agenda."
Geopolitical considerations are not insignificant. The Davos globalists, who have been present in Nigeria for some time, feel that if they do not take care of Nigeria, the Russians, present there since the Soviet era, will do it. Political interests in Nigeria are also being sought after by the Chinese, who have been building railways, roads, airports, and mining companies in Nigeria while simultaneously cultivating good relationships with tribal and political leaders.

When the explorer Vasco da Gama set out to find a water route to India in 1497, King Manuel of Portugal ordered him to gain an audience with the powerful overseas rulers, Prester John and the Raja of Calicut.
The mission was only half completed. The raja was contacted, but not the Prester. This was particularly unfortunate because John was supposedly the king of a powerful Christian empire flourishing "somewhere beyond the Nile," and Portugal expected him to support it as a co-religionist in its struggle with non-believers for control of spice and gold routes.
The alliance with the Prester's kingdom was an essential element of the Portuguese expansion plan.
In the end, the scheme had to be adjusted. To their credit, the Portuguese managed more or less alone. But their 'punctuated' empire in the Indian Ocean, for all its success, was still not as strong, extensive, or durable as it could have been had they been able to draw on the resources of a major ally.
It would be rash to blame Vasco da Gama for this failure. He did not make an alliance with John. But not because he was negligent or unwise, which he certainly was not. It was because that kingdom never existed anywhere. Sadly.
King Manuel was let down by his scholarship - he based his plans on strictly scientific data and the most reliable sources. Of the time, of course.
The certainty that, whether in Africa or Asia, there was a fraternal superpower of the king-priest gave the Crusaders of the twelfth century strength. They "knew" that he could march into Palestine on their side. The Pope then sent a delegation to John. But it never returned. Later, the Prester was "clearly" described by Marco Polo. His land was "known" to the Arabs, the Byzantines, the Persians, the Mongols .... and to the Old Russian tradition under the name of the Kingdom of Ivan the Priest.
James Sauls, Feinstein's chief of staff, confirmed her death in a mid-morning statement, saying: "Her passing is a great loss for so many, from those who loved and cared for her to the people of California that she dedicated her life to serving ... There are few women who can be called senator, chairman, mayor, wife, mom and grandmother. Senator Feinstein was a force of nature who made an incredible impact on our country and her home state. She left a legacy that is undeniable and extraordinary."
The California Democrat was the oldest member of the Senate and had announced plans to retire at the end of her term.
Her death was first reported by ABC7 Insider. NBC News also reported her death, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
Comment: Feinstein was very much an Democrat Establishment girl. Trump, Kavanaugh, Assange, gun control, what have you, she diligently toed the party line. She should have retired long ago

I met Senator Diane Feinstein once, in the lead up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. She had just recently been assigned to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (in 2001), and it was in that capacity that she had a senior staffer from the committee ask me to come to Washington DC to brief her on Iraqi WMD and the allegations being made by the Bush administration that Iraq continued to possess them.
We met in a secure conference room in the Capital building — me, the Senator, and a half dozen staffers and aides. It was a polite, professional affair, with the Senator asking questions and taking notes. Eventually she confronted me — "Your position is causing us some difficulty. You are making the US look bad in the eyes of the world." I replied that my analysis and the underlying facts were rock solid, something she agreed with. I said that while I knew she couldn't reveal sensitive intelligence, if she could look me in the eye and say she has seen unequivocal proof that Iraq retained WMD, I'd shut up and go away. She looked at her retinue, and then me. "I have seen no such intelligence," she replied. She thanked me for the briefing, and said it provided her with "food for thought."
On October 11, 2002, Senator Feinstein voted in favor of the resolution authorizing war with Iraq. Later, she said she had been misled by the Bush administration and bad intelligence. I will forever know Senator Feinstein as someone who had been empowered by the truth, and lacked the moral courage to act on it. The blood of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis stains her soul. I hope when she stands in judgment before her maker, she is punished accordingly.
"The statement that "Joe Biden wasn't involved in Hunter Biden's business," is absurd in its face. Joe Biden was Hunter Biden's business." — Margot ClevelandUnderstand: no amount of political blustering will bring this gaslit nation into daylight when there is no more money and no more credit and no feasible way to feed the blob that ate our government. The equation is simple. Our country can't handle normal interest rates; and the value of the dollar can't withstand more ultra-low interest rates. Someone, please, ask Congress to stop screwing that pooch over there!
Oh, and that "can" we've been kicking down the road turns out to be a rusty old 50-gallon drum. Somebody has stuffed America into it and is fixing to drop us overboard beyond the continental shelf off the Jersey Shore. Can that be stopped, too?
So, here at week's end we see these two rather momentous issues juxtaposed: the battle over how to finance that blob-infested monster in DC; and the battle to expose the crimes of a real-life Manchurian Candidate president. Neither battle is going all that well for the minority of citizens who want to live in a pro-reality society. If we follow the fiscal trend, all the tax revenue we can grudge up will barely cover the annual interest on our $30+trillion debt. If we can't boot out the brain-dead cat's paw in the White House, then say goodbye to the rule of law and liberty with it.
