Puppet Masters
National Security Forces have been involved in intense clashes with the Taliban in 7 provinces.
At the moment security forces have gained round only in Faryab province. The Taliban has now started a new offensive in the Badakhshan province by taking control of the "Kala" military base, seizing several checkpoints and capturing 100 pro-government fighters. Islamic State has also participated in clashes at the Afghanistan-Turkmenistan border.
I live in Donbas and there are currently over 200 ISIL terrorists operating here. Should the US bomb them and everyone that supports them Tomi?
Comment: Can you say cookiecutter-jingoistic-fascistic-robotic-xenophobic-psychopathic-American Empire-propagandizer?
Comment: ...it's YOU, Tomi Lahren! You and your mindless mainstream media ilk have more in common with the essence of terrorism than you'll ever know.
An unnamed counter-terrorism source, probably from MI5's department of propaganda, told the British Daily Express that "terror groups had been trying to launch a drone-borne bomb attack for some time, as these machines are getting more hi-tech every year." While the unnamed MI5 propaganda source did not reveal how he knew the intentions of jihadi groups, the fact that British intelligence has a long track record of grooming militant Islamists to carry out "terror attacks" against civilians, meant he didn't have to.
We examine why the claims that a confrontation between Russia and Northern European states is apparently inevitable, are a road to increased tensions, and the ideologies behind them.
A new article in Politico.eu suggests the idea that a Russian invasion of Baltic states is somehow inevitable, and that military escalation in the region is therefore necessary.
The article is very transparent about a desire to militarize the region, a process already underway with increased US troop presence and even military equipment holdings in the states, which are at Russia's borders. The article also raises more questions about the author, Andrew Michta, and his intentions for the region than it does about Russian foreign policy.
In his conclusion, the author makes an assertion that "It is ultimately academic to try to second-guess [Russian President Vladimir] Putin's ultimate goals" and that "When it comes to Putin's Russia today, expect the unexpected — or rather more of the same." "The same" in this case is that Russia's 2008 peace enforcement action in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict and the 2014 Crimean reunification somehow predict the inevitability of a Russian invasion of the Baltic states.
Comment: It is a testament to Putin's forbearance, clear thinking, and long view of the situation that he has not allowed Russia to get drawn in to the Western traps that are being set like so many land mines. But one day, possibly soon, Putin may be pressed to act in such a way that the narrative will be written against him, yet again. And lines will further be drawn between those who believe the lies, and those who do not.See also: Putin's phone call to Obama and its significance
Vladimir Churov, who heads the Central Electoral Commission, told the official Tass news agency that last September's poll - at which there were Russian monitors - should now be investigated.
Commenting on the Nationalists' emphatic victory in Scotland, the official said: "It confirms our position; that the outcome of the independence referendum in Scotland was a total falsification."
Mr Churov noted how the election results showed "the SNP, which fought for a Yes in the referendum, won far more votes now than it did then".
He went on: "We doubted that the referendum had been organised cleanly and we had observers there".
He added that he felt the scale of the SNP's success in Scotland last week "gives further cause to examine the referendum".
Comment: The Scottish National Party's entire political platform is based on freeing Scotland from London via peaceful means. Therefore, the only reason a Scot would vote for this party would be if he or she was in agreement with its primary political platform.
It is as patently obvious to Sott.net as it is to these international elections observers that the Scottish independence referendum last September was thoroughly rigged, presumably by the British security services.
The most likely result is one that reflects recent Scottish (and UK general) elections results, both before and since the referendum: a landslide 70+% Yes vote in favour of independence from London.

Spores from the Sterne strain of anthrax bacteria (Bacillus anthracis) are pictured in this handout scanning electron micrograph (SEM) obtained by Reuters May 28, 2015. The U.S. military mistakenly sent live anthrax bacteria to laboratories in nine U.S. states and a U.S. air base in South Korea, after apparently failing to properly inactivate the bacteria last year, U.S. officials said on May 27, 2015.
Seven foreign countries also received the shipments, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and the UK, according to the Department of Defense's Laboratory Review site. "It's déjà vu all over again," said US Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pennsylvania), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, referring to the new count at a Tuesday hearing, according to USA Today. "What we have here is a pattern of recurring issues, of complacency, and a lax culture of safety," he said.
Comment: Must have been completely accidental: Pentagon reports live anthrax shipped across states by accident.
The supply of bullion in the futures markets is increased by printing uncovered contracts representing claims to gold. This artificial, indeed fraudulent, increase in the supply of paper bullion contracts drives down the price in the futures market despite high demand for bullion in the physical market and constrained supply. We will demonstrate with economic analysis and empirical evidence that the bear market in bullion is an artificial creation.
The law of supply and demand is the basis of economics. Yet the price of gold and silver in the Comex futures market, where paper contracts representing 100 troy ounces of gold or 5,000 ounces of silver are traded, is inconsistent with the actual supply and demand conditions in the physical market for bullion. For four years the price of bullion has been falling in the futures market despite rising demand for possession of the physical metal and supply constraints.
Comment: So don't pay attention to the price of silver and gold. It is merely based on fiat currency. But seeing the manipulation of the price is a sure bet that something stinks in the world economies.
There are times when a loud cry of "The emperor has no clothes!" can be most copacetic. And so, let me point out something quite simple, yet very important.
The old world order, to which we became accustomed over the course of the 1990s and the 2000s, its crises and its problems detailed in numerous authoritative publications on both sides of the Atlantic - it is no more. It is not out sick and it is not on vacation. It is deceased. It has passed on, gone to meet its maker, bought the farm, kicked the bucket and joined the crowd invisible. It is an ex-world order.
If we rewind back to the early 1980s, we can easily remember how the USSR was still running half of Europe and exerting major influence on a sizable chunk of the world. World socialist revolution was still sputtering along, with pro-Soviet regimes coming in to power here and there in different parts of the globe, the chorus of their leaders' official pronouncements sounding more or less in unison. The leaders made their pilgrimages to Moscow as if it were Mecca, and they sent their promising young people there to learn how to do things the Soviet way. Soviet technology continued to make impressive advances: in the mid-1980s the Soviets launched into orbit a miracle of technology - the space station Mir, while Vega space probes were being dispatched to study Venus.
Comment: The "West" will not give up without a fight. Psychopaths in power will see to that. The veil that hides the machinations of the elite is slowly fading away for all who have eyes to see.

Nursery school staff and registered childminders must report toddlers at risk of becoming terrorists, under counter-terrorism measures proposed by the Government.
The directive is contained in a 39-page consultation document issued by the Home Office in a bid to bolster its Prevent anti-terrorism plan.
The document accompanies the Counter-Terrorism and Security Bill, currently before parliament. It identifies nurseries and early years childcare providers, along with schools and universities, as having a duty "to prevent people being drawn into terrorism".
Lord Sewel resigned from his £84,500 per year post after the video was leaked to the Sun newspaper and published in an expose on Sunday.
The Prime Minister backed his decision to resign amid "very serious allegations".
"I think it's right he has stood down from his committee posts and I'm sure further questions will be asked about whether it is appropriate to have someone legislating and acting in the House of Lords if they have genuinely behaved in this way" Cameron said.
"It's still going to take some time I suspect to get to the full truth."
Sewel, 69, is facing calls to quit parliament altogether, and he could become the first peer to be expelled under new rules he was instrumental in implementing.
Police proceeded to search Sewel's flat, entering the property with sniffer dogs and exiting with bags of evidence, according to media reports.
So far no arrests have been made, police said.
"A warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 was today granted at Westminster Magistrates' Court," Scotland Yard said in a statement. "The warrant was executed at 6 pm at an address in central London by officers from the Special Enquiry Team of the Homicide and Major Crime Command."

"Shame there isn't an Asian one with us tonight. They look innocent, but really they're whores."This is actually fairly common behavior among the British criminal class. The current Chancellor of the Exchequer (the UK government's money man) is known to have frequented drug-fuelled orgies on his work-breaks:
~ Baron John Sewel, Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords
The really sick stuff, of course, like the child rape/snuff parties, isn't so readily leaked to the press.
Why do people accept such psychopathic monsters to be their leaders? Could it BE any more obvious that they're in it for themselves and don't give a damn about anyone else??

Comment: Turkey is preparing a no-fly zone over Syria while bombing Syria and Iraq, and Washington's "ISIS" is moving across the Middle East and Ukraine, waging barbaric warfare for the "Empire of Chaos". But there has got to be a limit to the amount of chaos that can be reasonably controlled. As NATO becomes more and more irrelevant, the amount of chaos they can control is bound to slip, and "controlled chaos" will likely become uncontrollable chaos for the entire planet. Check out:
