Hillary's crybabies need to grow up

Hillary Clinton

Their placards read Love Trumps Hate but it's the other way around for them. Refusing to accept the verdict of the people unless it goes their way, they beat up suspected Trump voters, torch cars, break windows and injure police officers.

The impression is of a profound sense of entitlement.

They demand "dump Trump" because they are so certain of their moral superiority. They think if they splash around lazy insults, "racist, sexist, Islamophobe, homophobe", they've won the argument.

They describe a vote for Trump as a "hate crime". Yet they ignore actual hate crimes, like the bashing of a 15-year-old boy wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat in Maryland, or a 24-year-old on the subway in New York wearing the red Trump cap, or a 50-year-old man in Chicago suspected of being a Trump supporter because he was white.

Imagine if it were a Clinton voter who had copped beatings; it would be reported as the end of civilisation and evidence of the utter depravity of Trump voters.

If you needed proof for why Trump won the election, look no further than the hypocrisy of the left's crybabies and sore losers, even now imagining they can bully their way into refusing Trump the job he won fair and square.

OPCW chief: ISIS likely produced mustard gas used in Syria, Iraq attacks

The sulfur mustard gas that was used in terrorist attacks in Syria and Iraq might have been manufactured by Islamic State on its own, said Ahmet Uzumcu, head of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

The OPCW experts analyzed samples of mustard gas, employed in the August 2015 attack, saying that there's ground to believe that "this substance may have been produced by ISIS itself," Uzumcu told AFP.

The officials stressed that the terrorist-made substance was "poor quality, but still harmful," adding that it was an "extremely worrying" development.

"Especially, given the fact that there are several foreign fighters in those countries, who may go back to their countries of origin one day. This requires a high-degree of vigilance within our countries," Uzumcu said.

The OPCW chief stressed that there has been "more than 20"allegations of chemical weapons use coming from both the Syrian government and the so-called "moderate" rebels since August 1.

"The Organisation for the Prohibition for Chemical Weapons (OPCW) recently received an offer from Russian authorities to provide some samples and other material in relation to an incident of alleged use of chemicals as weapons in Aleppo. These samples and other material may be of use in the ongoing work of the OPCW Fact-Finding Mission," the organization said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow is considering the possibility of delivering independently gathered toxic substances used by militants in Aleppo to The Hague for analysis. He noted that the collected samples left "no doubt" that the toxic substances were used by militants from eastern Aleppo. The Russian diplomat added that OPCW experts were requested to visit Aleppo to verify the information.

Obama: Electoral system is rigged in Republican favor

Obamaperu
© The Salt Lake TribuneObama at APEC press conference.
President Barack Obama is complaining about aspects of the country's electoral system that he says favored Republicans in 2016. "As long as Wyoming gets the same number of senators as California, there's going to be some tilt towards Republicans when it comes to congressional races," he explained, pointing out that most Democratic voters were "bunched up in big cities."

During a press conference in Peru, Obama grumbled that Republicans took advantage of "political gerrymandering" after winning wide majorities in that helped them lock in a majority in Congress. "More votes have been cast for Democratic congressional candidates than Republican," Obama said. "And yet you end up having large Republican majorities."

He cited "bad luck" as the reason Republicans swept back into power in 2010, blaming the economic downturn he inherited from former president Bush and not having enough time for his policies to take root.

Obama appeared to realize that he was complaining about the rules, admitting that the electoral system has "structural problems" that the Democratic party has to accept. "But, look, you can't make excuses about the rules," he said. "That's the deal, and we got to do better."

Comment: Obama had eight years for his policies to 'take root.' What those policies did was 'uproot' the common American worker, business and family, put the ISIS pox on the world stage to fester into a monster, cause millions of deaths and countries to reel from destruction. To him it is just 'bad luck.'

Best of the Web: Reporters: Trump's media conference was a 'f---ing firing squad'

Media guys

Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post. "It was like a f−−−ing firing squad," one source said of the encounter.

"Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said, 'I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,' " the source said.

"The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing-down," the source added.

A second source confirmed the fireworks. "The meeting took place in a big boardroom and there were about 30 or 40 people, including the big news anchors from all the networks," the other source said.

"Trump kept saying, 'We're in a room of liars, the deceitful, dishonest media who got it all wrong.' He addressed everyone in the room, calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was [a] network of liars," the source said.

Comment: There is some hefty reasoning behind Trump's dressing-down of the MSM regarding its biased reporting, lack of independent investigation and objectivity. He is doing them a favor by calling them on their duty to the public while setting the bar for his administration. The media has effectively been 'put on notice.'

Update: Looks like Trump forgot to give them a trigger warning. Some anonymous reactions given to the New Yorker:
Another participant at the meeting said that Trump's behavior was "totally inappropriate" and "f***ing outrageous." The television people thought that they were being summoned to ask questions; Trump has not held a press conference since late July. Instead, they were subjected to a stream of insults and complaints—and not everyone absorbed it with pleasure.

"I have to tell you, I am emotionally f***ing pissed," another participant said. "How can this not influence coverage? I am being totally honest with you. Toward the end of the campaign, it got to a point where I thought that the coverage was all about [Trump's] flaws and problems. And that's legit. But, I thought, O.K., let's give them the benefit of the doubt. After the meeting today, though—and I am being human with you here—I think, F*** him! I know I am being emotional about it. And I know I will get over it in a couple of days after Thanksgiving. But I really am offended. This was unprecedented. Outrageous!"
Ahh, taste that delicious salt.

Mosul discovery: Another mass grave of 200 bodies unearthed

mosul mass grave
© YahooSite of mass grave near Hammam Al-alil.
The gruesome discovery was made on Monday, in a city deemed the primary stronghold of Daesh militants in Iraq. In 2014, Daesh fighters carried out mass killings of security-forces personnel as well as members of ethnic and religious minorities after capturing Mosul. Since the launch of the operation to liberate Mosul three weeks ago, the UN has reported new atrocities by the jihadists in the area.

As the Iraqi coalition continues to clear the suburbs of Mosul in an ongoing offensive, new evidence of gruesome crimes conducted by the terrorist group in the area have been discovered, including numerous mass graves containing hundreds of decapitated corpses, many of which presumably belong to former members of local law enforcement.

Another grave said to contain at least 200 bodies executed by Daesh was found near Mosul on Monday after security forces spotted stray dogs digging into the ground in Hammam Al-alil and pulling out corpses, according to Sky Press.

Hammam Al-alil is the last major settlement along the River Tigris before Mosul itself, located some 30 miles (50km) south of the town. It is not yet clear whether those that were executed were civilians or members of police.

On October 17, 2016, the Iraqi Army and Kurdish Peshmerga forces launched a major battle for Mosul to liberate the city and its surroundings from Daesh. Backed by air cover from the US-led coalition, Iraqi forces have recently taken control of major towns in the countryside surrounding Mosul, as well as recapturing several neighborhoods within the city.

Comment: It is alarming to note that these unthinkable acts of violence, and other equally horrific atrocities, have become such daily occurrences that another of these reports makes so little difference in how we react to the news. Becoming numb to truth and human suffering places us in jeopardy of losing our humanity. We cannot let this happen.

Duterte: Bans fishing in disputed South China Sea shoal

Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte, declared a vast lagoon in the disputed Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea a maritime sanctuary, prohibiting both the Philippines and China from fishing in the area. "You can go in but... don't fish because it's a maritime sanctuary," Martin Andanar, Philippine President Communications Secretary, said, as cited by AFP.

Duterte informed his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, of his plans as the two leaders met on the sidelines of the APEC summit in the Peruvian capital of Lima at the weekend, Hermogenes Esperon Jr., Philippine National Security Adviser, said. However, it remains unclear whether Xi agreed with Duterte's "unilateral decision" to make the Scarborough Shoal, which was seized by China after an intense maritime standoff in 2012, a sanctuary.

Esperon also said that Manila and Beijing agreed on joint nonmilitary Coast Guard patrols in the Scarborough Shoal, with the aim of eventually "demilitarizing" the area, ABS-CBN news reported.

Philippine special envoy to China and the country's former president, Fidel Ramos, backed Duterte's decision. "I say it was one of our first options because that is the highest form of aquaculture preservation, a sanctuary, where the mother fish are spawned and that it would therefore be protected perpetually," Ramos said. "But the fishing can be made outside the limits of the shoal itself," he added.

Ukraine junta considers extraditing Saakashvili back to Georgia (but they don't seem to want him)

Saakashvili
© the real Syrian Free Press - WordPress.comMikhail Saakashvili misused, abused and screwed up everything he touched.
Ukraine is officially considering possible extradition of Georgia's former president and former governor of Ukraine's Odessa region, Mikhail Saakashvili, to Georgia, Ukrainiskaya Pravda said on Friday, citing a source close to the presidential administration. "According to the source, Saakashvili might be striped of Ukraine's citizenship. So, to expel him from the country, an option is being considered to extradite him at the request of the Georgian side," Ukrainskaya Pravda wrote.

According to another source, Saakashvili and Ukraine's President Pyotr Poroshenko had a sort of "non-aggression" agreement before elections in Georgia.

In February 2015, the Georgian prosecutor general's office applied to the Ukrainian prosecutor general's office with an extradition request for Saakashvili but the request was turned down despite the Georgia-Ukraine agreement of 1995 envisaging extradition of wanted persons.

Comment: Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Saakashvili is a nutcase with a grossly flawed track record and nobody wants him.

Young people want, rightly, to change the world. But how might this be properly done? Dr Jonathan Haidt recently contrasted Truth University with Social Justice University. Social Justice U has as its advantage the call to social transformation. In this video, I outline why Truth is the proper route to societal improvement -- and why that starts with the individual.

Lavrov: UN chemical weapon watchdog refused to send experts to Aleppo because of Western pressure not to

Shelling Aleppo

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons refuses to send its experts to Aleppo to check substances used by rebels in attacks. The move was "seemingly done under pressure from our Western colleagues," Russia's foreign minister said.

"Russian specialists found that militants in east Aleppo used ammunition with poisonous substances, with the ammo targeting west Aleppo. The collected samples leave no doubt that it's a toxic agent," Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference with his Belarusian counterpart in Minsk, as cited by Interfax.

However, when the Russian Ministry of Defense addressed the leadership of the UN watchdog OPCW "with the demand to urgently send its experts to Aleppo to participate in the sample analysis," the organization "refused to carry out this simple task, citing security issues."

The underlying reason behind this, Lavrov said, seemed to be "tremendous pressure from our Western colleagues," because "our and Syrian sides guaranteed security [for the experts]."

New evidence suggests Green Berets in Jordan were murdered - deliberately targeted by facility guard

A shooting incident in Jordan that left three American servicemen dead on November 4 could have been a deliberate attack, US media reported on Tuesday.

Investigators of the incident are saying that the US troops may have been murdered, Fox News reported.

A surveillance video and witness accounts have shown that the servicemen were shot by a guard without being provoked, the media outlet added.

The troops were on a training mission in Jordan and came under fire when they were entering a military facility.

Comment: According to SOFREP, special forces sources believe the assailant was an ISIS sympathizer/infiltrator. The slain men were about to be transitioned back to the U.S. So the question remains: why were they targeted? Given the discontent within the special forces about being forced to train jihadis, did these men know too much? And who was this Jordanian military gate guard working for?
