Head of Kiev Rada's committee on culture and spirituality wanted by Interpol for rape

interpol
Cambodia issued an Interpol Red Notice A-1857/3-2015 for the prosecution of Mykola Kniazhytskyi, Ukrainian MP, journalist and head of TVi editorial board. According to the letter he received from the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol, he is wanted for rape under Article 239 of Cambodian Penal Code. According to the Red Notice, the alleged rape took place in on September 9, 2011 in Phnom Penh (Cambodia).

Mr. Kniazhytskyi was an author of a recently adopted Law No. 1317 "On the introduction of changes to certain Laws of Ukraine concerning the protection of television and radio space of Ukraine". The Law put an end to the abuse of Russian propagandist TV shows and movies in Ukraine.

According to Mykola Kniazhytskyi, that could be the reason for his Interpol Red Noticed arranged. Moreover, he's been threatened by a Russian businessman Konstantin Kagalovskiy, with whom he had a conflict earlier. Konstantin Kagalovskiy is considered to be an influential person in Cambodia, taking into account he is considered to be an important investor there.

The interesting fact is that the Interpol Notice appeared on March 11, around a week after Cambodian FM visited Moscow (2-4 March 2015). Another question is unclear, why is the rape case was opened 4 years after it allegedly happened.

Comment: The article doesn't mention it, but Mykola is the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Culture and Spirituality. How fitting.

Iraqi commander: Tapped ISIS communications confirm US aid of arms and food

US ISIS weapons

Weapons "intended" for Kurdish fighters dropped at ISIS-held location.
A commander of Iraq's popular forces disclosed that wiretapping of ISIL's communications has confirmed the reports that the US planes have been airdropping food and arms supplies for the Takfiri terrorists.

"The wiretapped ISIL communications by Iraqi popular forces have revealed that the US planes have been dropping weapons and foodstuff for the Takfiri terrorist group," Commander of Iraq's Ali Akbar Battalion told FNA on Wednesday.

He noted that tapping on ISIL disclosed the terrorist group's regular contacts with the US army, and said, "They exchanged sentences like if they would have a share of the ammunition dropped near (Spiker Military Base) or responses such as 'you will also receive your share'."

"The US forces by dropping weapons and ammunition for ISIL, specially in Yassreb, Al-Ramadi and near Spiker Base in Hay al-Qadessiya have provided a lot of help to the ISIL," he added.

Many similar reports by Iraqi officials and forces have surfaced in the last few months.

Comment: So many Iraqi officials have come forward saying the same thing: the U.S. is actively and intentionally supplying ISIS with arms and other forms of aid. But you won't hear a word of that in the Western media. Can't let the facts get in the way of a good propaganda line! It's a matter of national security, after all.

Iran response to Netanyahu victory: No difference to Israeli political parties

Following the surprise win of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, a spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry said that there is no difference between the Israeli political parties.

"For us there is no difference between the Zionist regime's political parties. They are all aggressors in nature," Marizeh Afkham, a spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, told reporters at a weekly news conference in Tehran, the semi-official Mehr News Agency reports.

Hamas also said it made no difference who won the election as all of them deny the Palestinian people their rights.

"Palestinian resistance is strong and capable of making its mark. The leaders of the occupation must think again about their stances after the failure in Gaza," said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu-Zuhri.

Russia agrees to give 10% gas discount to Turkey

Turkey's Energy Minister Taner Yildiz
Russia's Gazprom and Turkish pipeline company Botas have agreed a 10.25 percent discount on Russian gas supplied to Turkey, said Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz.

"The documents on the discount haven't yet been signed, but that's a technical detail. The main thing is that we have agreed, and the signatures are on their way," said Yildiz Wednesday at a news conference, adding that all the rumors about problems in the negotiations with Russia are groundless.

In February, Yildiz said that after complex and lengthy negotiations Russia had agreed to give Turkey a discount of 10.25 percent on gas supplies. Gazprom had only confirmed reaching an agreement on the price, but not on the size of the discount.

A discount was part of last year's agreement between Moscow and Ankara over the construction of the Turkish Stream pipeline under the Black Sea. Turkish Stream will be laid instead of the South Stream pipeline canceled in December 2014.

Russian Gazprombank assigned high investment rating by China's biggest rating agency

The largest ratings agency in China, Dagong has given a high A- investment rating to Russia's Gazprombank which is intending to extend its ties to China and other countries in Asia.

"The assigned credit rating from Dagong will foster further development of Gazprombank's business network in Asia and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region," the company quotes Gazprombank's Deputy Chairman Oleg Vaksman in a press release on Wednesday

Dagong assigned the high A- credit rating to Gazprombank for foreign and local currencies, with a stable outlook. The rating is one notch below the sovereign rating of Russia, and at the same level as US.

Gazprombank has said it is considering placing bonds on China's domestic debt market. The so-called 'Panda Bonds' can be placed by foreign companies and banks only in case the borrower receives a rating from a Chinese rating agency.

The Dagong agency says the bank has built a strong system of risk management and, given the weak dependence on debt markets, especially foreign ones; it has a high ability to repay the debt in national and foreign currencies. It also notes that Gazprombank has a significant market share in Russia, and also has a competitive advantage in relation to the process of the banking system's centralization.

Black Magic

The genocidal trojan horse: Gates' and Obama's dark secret

Image

In 2014 there was the western Africa Ebola hoax where US President Barack Obama, the first black man to be President, announced his "War on Ebola" in September last year, ordering 3,000 US military troops to the region, though reportedly none had experience in public health and no one had produced rigorous laboratory proof of a single person dying from something called Ebola virus. Liberia was among the poorest and most war-torn regions in the world.

Comment: Nobel Prize "winner" Obama no doubt had ulterior motives for sending military troops to western Africa, but to say that the outbreak of Ebola itself is a hoax is incorrect.

Wars over blood diamonds and colonial genocidal tribal wars have left a devastated, mal-nourished population in its wake. Was Ebola simply a panic-maker? Further investigation uncovered the Pentagon was developing an Ebola vaccine with Monsanto and suspicion was that the 3,000 US troops were sent to force the population to become human guinea pigs for the untested substances.

Before that Obama, or more precisely then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in 2011 ordered Libya to be bombed back to the stone-age as what she called "responsibility to protect." Today, four years after, the country is anarchy pure with roving lawless bands killing and looting.

Now Obama and his Administration, the US Government, have teamed up with "Mr Vaccinate All Africans" Bill Gates, a eugenics protégé and intimate of David Rockefeller. Obama and Gates share a dark secret. They are colluding to contaminate the incredibly rich and productive soils of Africa with GMO, GMO from a company where Gates is a major stockholder, Monsanto.

Comment: Though it may be a shock to think about it in these terms, Engdahl is correct in what he sees. The fascistic U.S. government, in alliance with billionaire Bill Gates, destructive agricultural juggernaut Monsanto, and others, do not merely want to accrue money, power and influence in Africa, but would seek to quietly decimate the population through stealth; through food. But Africa and much of the rest of the world will not go quietly.

Foreign and domestic policy from the U.S. government has been so caustic and so detrimental to all but the very few (in the short run) in nearly every sphere, that it seems a "precautionary principle," such as the one provided in the Cartegena Protocol, should be applied to everything that comes out of their mouths with the response: "Prove it is safe, jackass!"

An occupation that never ends - U.S. to keep troops in Afghanistan through 2015

Comment: The U.S. war machine must never quit. With no occupation of Afghanistan, you don't have arms manufacturers profiting immensely. Here is another sign that corporations control the American military.

Obama will keep 9,800 U.S. troops In Afghanistan through 2015, after Afghan President Ghani requested flexibility in drawdown plan.

"We are bound by common interests and will act together to ensure both the safety of United States and the safety of Afghanistan. That is the important consideration. Numbers are a means; they are not an end in themselves," Ghani said.

President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, in office since September last year, is currently visiting the US.The Afghan delegation spent all day Monday in meetings with senior US officials, including Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Secretary of State John Kerry.

Washington has pledged to fund Afghan security forces to the tune of $4 billion a year through 2017. The US is eager to show that the new government in Kabul is reliable and competent enough to solve its own problems, while being appreciative of American help.

Will Democrats back Obama's UN push for a two-state Israel-Palestine solution?

J Street crowd

J Street was founded to promote meaningful American leadership to end the Arab-Israeli and Palestinian-Israel conflicts peacefully and diplomatically.
The Obama Administration has broadcast that since Benjamin Netanyahu announced that there will never be a Palestinian state so long as Netanyahu remains Prime Minister of Israel, the US may end its policy of blocking consideration of the Israel-Palestine conflict at the United Nations Security Council. In particular, the US may support a Security Council resolution that lays out parameters for a diplomatic resolution of the conflict, and the US may support a resolution against Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

If the Obama Administration makes such a move, will Democrats support it? Here is some preliminary evidence that Democrats will be ready to support the Administration.

The Jewish Daily Forward reports that J Street will support such a push at the UN by the Obama Administration:
In terms of policy, taking on the fight means stating J Street's open support to moving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to the United Nations Security Council...

This position puts J Street at odds with most other pro-Israel organizations, led by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which have been preparing to lobby against the administration's move.
In addition, the Forward notes, J Street is urging the Administration to challenge the flow of US tax dollars to Israeli settlements in the West Bank:
The group is also calling on the U.S. government, Ben-Ami said, to "examine how it can eliminate funding" to Jewish settlements in the West Bank by taking a closer look at how government agencies provide funding to Israel and the way the IRS views donations going to settlements. J Street called on its members and supporters to make sure the Jewish charitable organizations they donate to do not support settlers beyond the Green Line.

Comment: When politicians allow or facilitate or even entertain the prospect of honorable ideas to manifest, the public will honorably respond. However, we are, as yet, one drumstick short of a drum roll...

Russian MP suggests Russia open its own international war crimes court to try Kiev junta

Image

Russia needs to establish its own international court for war crimes as the existing body in The Hague depends on the nations that sponsor the war crimes in Ukraine, a Russian lawmaker said.

"What hope can we feel toward the people and nations that at the same time are patrons and puppeteers of The Hague tribunal and the regime of military criminals," MP Vyacheslav Nikonov of ruling party United Russia told fellow lawmakers at Tuesday's session of the State Duma.

"For this reason I think that we must found our own tribunal that would deal with war crimes," he added.

"We will not forget and we will not forgive," Nikonov said.

The MP stated that the conflict in the neighboring country had already claimed thousands of lives and many of the victims were children, women and elderly people. He added that the Kiev authorities have so far failed to investigate both the shooting on Maidan that claimed the lives of the "Heavenly Hundred" and the attacks on Odessa's Trade Unions House that killed dozens of anti-Maidan protesters.

Russian MP: U.S. sending lethal aid to Ukraine is "provocation against Russia"

Image
© Reuters / Gleb Garanich
Several lawmakers, including the chair of the State Duma Foreign Relations Committee, have called the US Congress' call to send "lethal aid" to Ukraine a threat to the peace process and a direct provocation aimed at Russia.

"If [President] Barack Obama follows the suggestions formulated by the Congress, there will be no difference between him and George W. Bush, John McCain or Mitt Romney," Committee Chief Aleksey Pushkov told TASS on Tuesday.

"Obama has become president on an anti-war agenda. This did not prevent him from almost starting a war in Syria, losing the control over the situation in Iraq and continuing the war in Afghanistan, but in general Obama's doctrine means withdrawal of the US forces from wars in remote countries," he said.

"If Obama remains faithful to his doctrine, he should be genuine and understand that the resolution is a provocation against Russia, against a nuclear power and that it is threatening to escalate the whole conflict and the situation in general. If he remains faithful to the principles announced during election campaigns the United States would not use this option. But the pressure on Obama is enormous," Pushkov added.
