Commanders of Iraq's popular forces complain that the US is hindering the start of final phase of the operation to free Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province, from ISIL control.

"The US bargains and pressures on the Baghdad government have prevented accomplishment of Ramadi liberation operation," Abu Yousef al-Khazali, a commander of Seyed al-Shohada battalion, told FNA on Thursday.

"The US has long been seeking to force the government to stop using the popular forces in military operations against ISIL, specially in the liberation operations conducted in different Iraqi regions," he added.

Also, Karim al-Nouri, the spokesman of Iraq's popular forces, told FNA that the "the Americans' interference has distorted plans to free Ramadi".

He added that "the Americans are not serious about bringing the battles to an end".

Western media retaliates against Russia for outing Turkey's 'dirty little secrets'

On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry held a briefing detailing the Turkish government's involvement in the trade of Daesh (ISIL) oil. However, instead of starting their own investigations, many Western media outlets have instead attacked Russia for presenting the evidence, suggesting the revelations were 'hostile' and 'confrontational'.

At Wednesday's Defense Ministry briefing in Moscow, Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov presented Russian intelligence materials, including photographs, satellite imagery, and detailed maps outlining exactly how "industrial quantities" of oil from Daesh-controlled territories in Syria and Iraq find their way into Turkey, and then on to third countries.

Undoubtedly the most sensational moment in the briefing was Antonov's statement that Turkey's top political leadership, including President Erdogan and his family, are directly involved in the trade of dirty oil.

Russia's President said that Allah, apparently, decided to punish Turkey's leadership by making them lose their minds.

Russia's president said: "We were ready to cooperate with Turkey on any sensitive issue and were ready to go much further than [Turkey's other] allies were willing to. "

Earlier, on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia had received additional evidence that oil from fields controlled by Daesh, which is prohibited in Russia, were being transported to Turkey on an industrial scale.

Suspicion that the US is collaborating with Daesh (also known as ISIL/The Islamic State), instead of fighting the military group, is spreading among Iraqis, primarily due to the country's minimalist approach toward the crisis.

To Americans, accusations that the US government is helping Daesh may seem ludicrous. However, many Iraqi fighters and civilians claim they have seen evidence of collusion between the US and the notorious terrorist group citing, for instance, videos allegedly showing US helicopters airdropping weapons to the militants, The Washington Post reported.

The idea that the US is supporting Daesh is being persistently promoted via social media and voiced in parliament by Shiite politicians in Iraq, US military officials claim. In one popular video, recently released on a Shiite militia group's Facebook page, a lawmaker with the country's biggest militia group, the Badr Organization, waves seemingly new US military MREs (meals ready to eat), allegedly found at a recently seized Daesh base in Baiji, saying it is proof that the US supports terrorists.

First British airstrikes on oilfields deal ISIS 'real blow'

RAF bombing raids against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Syria have dealt "a real blow" to the financing of the terror group, said Defence Secretary Michael Fallon, after MPs voted overwhelmingly for war on Wednesday night.

The raids, which took place early on Thursday morning, targeted oil fields in the north of the country. Analysis indicates "the strikes were successful," the Ministry of Defence (MoD) claimed.

Fallon told the BBC he had approved the targets before the House of Commons vote on Wednesday evening, and gave permission for the raids to go ahead once MPs had rubberstamped extending airstrikes against ISIS form Iraq into Syria.

He added that airstrikes against extremists are likely to continue for years.

The Syrian war is rolling like a snowball on the edge of winter with additional new elements introduced in the conflict. The presence of new weapons and armies will impose a heavy weight on the various forces fighting on the ground and over the ongoing diplomacy in the attempt to shorten the life of the war in Syria.

A high-ranking officer within the joint operation room in Damascus (consisting of Russia, Iran, Syria and Hezbollah) said "Damascus received sets of S-300 advanced Russian missiles, ready to enter active service. Soon, Syria will announce that any country using the airspace without coordinating with Damascus will be viewed as hostile and will shoot the jet(s) without warning. Those willing to fight terrorism and coordinate with the military leadership will be granted safe corridors".

In another development, according to the same source, "Iran is preparing two squadrons of Sukhoi to engage the war in Syria. These will be stationed at the T4 Syrian military airport in Homs, very close to Palmyra (Tadmur), previously known as Tiyas. The Iranian Air Force will join the Russian Air Force in their war against extremist terrorist Takfiris in Syria".

Comment: Whether true or not, 'revelations' like this are bound to keep the U.S. coalition on their toes...

Comment: Contrast these results from the so-called western "war on terror" with the results of Putin's targeted strikes against ISIS and it becomes clear that the west has absolutely no interest in eliminating terrorism, whereas Russia does and is actively doing something about it.

IAEA finds no indication of nuclear weapons development by Iran after 2009

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) did not find any indications of military-related nuclear activities of Iran after 2009, IAEA said in a report issued on Wednesday.

"The Agency has no credible indications of activities in Iran relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device after 2009," the report reads.

Comment: This finding sort of puts the kibosh on Israel's complaints that Iran will make nukes.
