Puppet Masters
Former NATO Secretary General, Advisor to the President of Ukraine, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that the West will give Ukraine lethal weapons in the event that Russia "destabilizes eastern Ukraine."
"Ukraine is not a member of NATO and, therefore, the Alliance has no obligations to Ukraine's security. However, if Russia will not fulfill the Minsk agreement, if it continues to destabilize eastern Ukraine, I think it's time for the West and for NATO to provide Ukraine with lethal defensive weapons. And then the Ukrainian military will be able to better defend against Russian aggression", Rasmussen said, in an interview with "Apostrof", released on Sunday.
He also noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine has done much to strengthen its defenses.
The most important information event of Friday was Vladimir Putin's interview with Bloomberg, in which the Russian president touched on key issues on the global information agenda. I am sure that dozens of publications are going over this interview and discussing every question and answer in it, but I want to propose to you, dear friends, to look at this from a different angle.
The point is that John Micklethwait, the editor-in-chief of Bloomberg who interviewed the Russian president, is not merely a journalist, but one of many journalists who has participated for many years in meetings of the Bilderberg Club as a full member of this shadow interest group whose opinions determine the policies of Western countries. I think that this explains the unusual format of the interview and the fact that Vladimir Putin called Micklethwait a "specialist" and debated with him more like a politician than a journalist...
If we look at the interview with Putin from this point of view, then we see that this can be considered as Putin's response to the Western political elite. Here are the key points which I would like to highlight.
"The Zionist regime's spy agency, Mossad, has and is assassinating the leaders of resistance groups and freedom-seeking movements in the world by training groups of mercenaries and sneaking them into target countries," Mohammad Nasour told FNA on Saturday.
"Mossad has established special spy training centers and trained experts in the field of international relations to use them in its media for diverting the public opinion from the regime's crimes," he added.
Hundreds, possibly thousands, of Uighurs keen to escape unrest in China's western Xinjiang region have traveled clandestinely via Southeast Asia to Turkey, where many see themselves as sharing religious and cultural ties.
Beijing says some Uighurs then end up fighting with militants in Iraq and Syria.
But Ankara vowed last year to keep its doors open to Uighur migrants fleeing what rights activists have called religious persecution in China. Beijing denies accusations that it restricts the Uighurs' religious freedoms.

Lithuanian Defense Minister Juozas Olekas (L) is seen during a press conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, August 22, 2016.
The unnamed spokesman told Reuters on Saturday that a day earlier Vilnius had handed over to Ukrainian authorities the ammunition cargo, mostly 5.45 caliber cartridges for various modifications of Kalashnikov AK-47 rifle.
Lithuanian Defense Minister Juozas Olekas said, "We are sending a message to Ukraine that it is not alone."
"Lithuania has consistently helped Ukraine in its fight for territorial integrity and the defense of its values, and we would like to keep helping as much as we can."
According to the portal, two doctors have disclosed that they received Orders, telling them that they must report to a military center to begin Army service within 8 days of receipt, and warning them not discuss it with anybody.
The orders come less than one week after the government ominously warned citizens to stockpile food and water in the event of an emergency "which threatens our existence".
One day later, the Czech Republic told its citizens to begin "preparing for the worst."

Russian President Vladimir Putin (R) shakes hands with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during a meeting on the sidelines of Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, September 2, 2016.
On Saturday, PM Abe called on President Putin to "take responsibility" to boost the bilateral ties, while talking to the Russian leader on the second and last day of a major economic forum in the Far Eastern Russian city of Vladivostok.
"Let us overcome all difficulties and leave the people of the next generation a world in which our two countries will reveal their powerful potential. Let's put an end to this abnormal situation, which lasted 70 years, and together launch a new era in Japanese-Russian relations,"Abe said.
Moscow and Tokyo have still not signed a peace treaty following the end of World War II. The key stumbling block remains the seizure of four Japanese islands by the Soviet Union during the last days of the conflict.
Comment: This is shaping up to be yet another big blow to the US empire, which has maintained control over Japan for decades. The question is, in what crazy way will they respond this time? You can't fight the natural order and common sense forever.
So when The Guardian publishes an investigative piece it goes to the head of the queue. If The Guardian says it, it must be the product of dedicated research by credible journalists. Conversely, what The Guardian doesn't say in its articles must be less credible, simply because the Guardian didn't say it. It must be founded on less rigorous evidence, or be the product of some less-than-honest agenda.
On Wednesday 27th July The Guardian published report entitled "Revealed: the £1bn of weapons flowing from Europe to Middle East". This "revelation" is given extra credibility by coming from three authors: Ivan Angelovski, Miranda Patrucic and Lawrence Marzouk. It claims that East European countries have been approving the sale of large quantities of weapons to countries known to supply Syria, which pass along a new pipeline established for the purpose.

More than 300 people were evacuated from the besieged Damascus suburb of Moadamiyeh on Friday
In the first stage of the deal, 303 people, including 62 gunmen who agreed to lay down their arms and accept a presidential amnesty deal, were bussed out of the area and taken to the nearby government-controlled town of Horjelah, according Syrian state news agency SANA.
The Moadamiyeh agreement comes just a week after a deal was struck in neighbouring Daraya that brought about the full evacuation of the suburb, a move heavily criticised by the international community as forced displacement.
Comment: Well, they would say that. The 'international community' being those handful of countries still gunning for Assad.
Those who left Moadamiyeh on Friday were originally from Daraya, having fled heavy bombardments earlier in the year.
Comment: Syria and the Assad government are clearing out the scourge in a very peaceful manner here, offering peace to the crazed heart-eating head-choppers, and still the usual suspects have something bad to say about it. 'Demography change' and 'forced displacement' are now the buzz-words of the day. Give us a break!
The UK's Amur Minerals corporation and the US-Canadian IG Copper signed an agreement of intent at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2016) in the TASS presentation zone on Saturday.
The reserves of the Malmyzhskoye deposit are estimated at 5.12 million tonnes of copper and 273.2 tonnes of gold. In the next five years the investments will top $1.5 billion, IG Copper Director General Thomas Bouens said. The reserves of the Kun-Manie deposit in the north of the Amur region are estimated at 740,100 tonnes of nickel and 212,900 tonnes of copper.
Comment: Apparently anti-Russian sanctions don't apply here.

Comment: The weapons industry is booming, thanks to the US and NATO. And no doubt about it they have long sold 'lethal weaponry' to the government they imposed in Kiev. In 2014 the US Congress called on the POTS to 'provide the Government of Ukraine with lethal and non-lethal defense articles, services, and training required to effectively defend its territory and sovereignty'. And in September of 2014 NATO began sending weapons.
