Surveillance personnel warned of Hamas activity on Gaza border for months before Oct. 7

The brutal Hamas massacre on October 7 was preceded by months of warning signs noted by IDF surveillance soldiers and disregarded as unimportant by intelligence officials, according to eyewitness accounts given in recent days.

At least three months prior to the attack, surveillance soldiers serving on a base in Nahal Oz reported signs that something unusual was underway at the already-tumultuous Gaza border, situated a kilometer from them.

The activity reported by the soldiers included information on Hamas operatives conducting training sessions multiple times a day, digging holes and placing explosives along the border. According to the accounts of the soldiers, no action was taken by those who received the reports.

IDF surveillance soldiers, referred to in Hebrew as tatzpitaniyot, belong to the Combat Intelligence Corps and operate along the country's borders, as well as throughout the West Bank.

'Putin has died of a heart attack': Inside the Western media's 'intelligence sources' and their fake news about Russia

blue Pu
Where does the Anglo-American propaganda machine get its nonsense stories about the president's health?

Western media is again spreading rumors about a sudden deterioration in the health of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and even his possible death. The source of these rumors is an anonymous Telegram channel allegedly linked to Valery Solovey, a notorious conspiracy theorist.

The Kremlin regularly dismisses such statements as false and the president appears to be in good shape. Moreover, no one can find any proof that Putin's health is in danger. Meanwhile, as the scandalous "insider information" continues to spread, its sources fail to become any more credible.

So how did a Russian hoaxer and conspiracy theorist become a source of "sensational world news?"

Video: "Wiping Gaza Off The Map": Big Money Agenda. Confiscating Palestine's maritime natural gas reserves

Introduction

Israel has launched an invasion (October 7, 2023) of the Gaza Strip.

As outlined by Felicity Arbuthnot with foresight 10 years ago in a December 30, 2013 article: "Israel is set to become a major exporter of gas and some oil, "If All Goes to Plan".

In the current context, Israel's "All Goes to Plan" option consists in bypassing Palestine and "Wiping Gaza off the Map", as well confiscating ALL Gaza's maritime offshore gas reserves, worth billions of dollars.

The ultimate objective is not only to exclude Palestinians from their homeland, it consists in confiscating the multi-billion dollar Gaza offshore Natural Gas reserves, namely those pertaining to the BG (BG Group) in 1999, as well the Levant discoveries of 2013.

Video: Michel Chossudovsky, Interview with Caroline Mailloux, Lux Media

Comment: Chossudovsky offers a few insights to Hamas. Israel's motives have always been clear.
Felicity Arbuthnot had a few more things to say back in 2013:

The giant Leviathan natural gas field, the most prominent field ever found in the sub-explored area of the Levantine Basin, which covers about 83,000 square kilometres of the eastern Mediterranean region, coupled with the Tamar field (same location) are an energy bonanza for Israel, for Houston, Texas based Noble Energy and partners Delek Drilling, Avner Oil Exploration and Ratio Oil Exploration. Also involved is Perth, Australia-based Woodside Petroleum.

"We estimated a mean of 1.7 billion barrels of recoverable oil and a mean of 122 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas in this province using a geology based assessment methodology."

That the US in the guise of Vice President Joe Biden, as honest broker, acting peace negotiator in the maritime border dispute would be laughable, were it not potential for Israel to attack their neighbour again. In a visit to Israel in March 2010, Biden announced:
"There is absolutely no space between the United States and Israel when it comes to Israel's security- none at all", also announcing on arrival in Israel: "It's good to be home."
Given US decades of "peace brokering" between Israel and Palestine, this is already a road of pitfalls, one sidedness and duplicity, well traveled. There is trouble ahead.

Experts fear Ukraine will run out of ammo in 2024 - Le Monde

Russia has a distinct arms production advantage, multiple European analysts told the newspaper...

The Ukrainian military will run out of ammunition next year, and Kiev's Western backers won't be able to fully restock it until 2025, European military experts told Le Monde on Friday. With Russian arms production in full swing, Moscow is better prepared for a war of attrition, the analysts warned.

In a lengthy article dissecting the failure of Ukraine's summer counteroffensive, the French newspaper highlighted three key factors:
- Russia's decision to voluntarily withdraw from Kherson and construct an elaborate line of defenses in late 2022,
- Ukraine's insufficient tactical prowess, and
- Russia's "greater strategic depth" - or its ability to replace lost men and materiel.
Risk consultant Stephane Audrand told Le Monde:
"2024 is going to be fraught with danger for the Ukrainians. The equipment that has already been delivered to them will be depleted, but they will only be able to partially reconstitute it, as Western production capacities will not be optimal until 2025."

Comment: Quit now or prolong the war to the last bullet...Ukraine still thinks it has choice.

Israel has permanently lost the argument

Notes From The Edge Of The Narrative Matrix

I'm sorry if this makes me an evil terrorist-loving baby-raping sieg-heiling Nazi, but in my humble opinion genocidal massacres are bad.

Israel and its allies get away with a lot by marketing this as a "war". It's not a war. Israel launches high-tech military explosives at civilian buildings in a huge concentration camp while Hamas fires back with glorified fireworks which do light property damage. That's not a war, it's a massacre.

I was upset when I saw that Israel has killed seven thousand people in its Gaza bombing campaign but then a really smart Israel apologist told me Hamas might be exaggerating those numbers and maybe it's more like four thousand, so now I think it's fine.

What kind of drooling, knuckle-dragging, tapioca-brained moron can look at the satellite images of the damage caused by Israeli airstrikes and believe Gaza is lying about its death toll?

Last week the American 'president', Joe Biden, gave a TV address in which he declared that he was sending half of America's sea power to 'protect Israel', part of Washington's plan to usher in a "new, new world order." While it's scarily obvious what Israel's attempting to do - ethnically cleanse Gaza and the West Bank of Palestinians - it's not so obvious what the USA is trying to do.

This week on NewsReal, Joe & Niall sketch how 'Armageddon' might play out in the coming months, with the US-led West apparently seeking to start a 'controlled burn' in the Middle East with a 'limited war' that would disrupt global energy supplies just enough to hinder its rivals and thus maintain American global hegemony. You know what they say about wishful thinking...

Kiev's SBU has told multiple outlets that it had targeted Oleg Tsarev in Crimea.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was behind the assassination attempt on former lawmaker Oleg Tsarev, the BBC and several Ukrainian outlets reported on Friday, citing a source from the agency.

"Tsarev is an absolutely legitimate target. He is not just a fanatic of the 'Russian world', but personally came together with Russian tanks to seize Kiev," the SBU source told the BBC's Ukrainian service.

Erdogan: Turkey will declare 'occupying regime of Israel a war criminal', blames West for massacre in Gaza'

Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that his government is set to declare Israel a "war criminal", also blaming the West for the regime's "massacre" of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Addressing hundreds of thousands of supporters at one of the largest pro-Palestinian rallies in Istanbul on Saturday, Erdogan said, "We will tell the whole world that Israel is a war criminal. We are making preparations for this. We will declare Israel a war criminal."

"Israel has been openly committing war crimes for 22 days, but the Western leaders cannot even call on Israel for a ceasefire, let alone react to it," he said in an hour-long speech, referring to the Israeli atrocities in Gaza since the launch of its attacks against Palestinian people.

"The main culprit behind the massacre unfolding in Gaza is the West", he said adding that "the massacre in Gaza is entirely the work of the West."

Comment: Al Jazeera reports on the rally:
"I reiterate that Hamas is not a terrorist organisation. Israel was very offended by this ... Israel is an occupier, Erdogan speaks clearly because Turkey does not owe you anything," he told hundreds of thousands of supporters on Saturday.
People gathered at Istanbul's Ataturk airport for a rally organised by Turkey's governing AK Party to protest against Israel's continued bombardment of the Gaza Strip and call for a ceasefire.

Demonstrators chanted pro-Palestinian slogans and waved Turkish and Palestinian flags at the event dubbed the "Great Palestine Meeting" on Saturday, as Israel pushed forward with its "expanded" ground operation amid a near-total communications blackout in the Gaza Strip.

The rally was attended by leaders of other political parties, as well as high-profile media and sports figures - some of whom were expected to take to the stage during the event, local media reported.

'End the genocide'

Al Jazeera's Osama Bin Javaid, reporting from the rally, said this was "by far one of the strongest speeches that we've heard" from the president.

Protesters were seen wearing headbands with inscriptions such as "We are all Palestinians", "End the genocide", or "Be the voice of Palestinian children".

Large protest in London; ban in Berlin

Meanwhile, thousands of protesters were seen pouring onto the streets of London to demand the British government to call for a ceasefire. Other rallies were taking place elsewhere in the UK, including in Manchester and Glasgow.

As noted in the video above, 500,000 were reported to have protested in London.

Aerial footage showed large crowds setting off on the march organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, with the protest due to end outside the Houses of Parliament after passing Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Downing Street office.

Echoing Washington's stance, Sunak's government has stopped short of calling for a ceasefire, and instead advocated humanitarian pauses to allow aid to reach people in Gaza.

On Friday evening, police in Berlin again broke up several pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

More than 100 people were arrested in front of the Brandenburg Gate as a crowd chanted pro-Palestinian, and then anti-police, slogans during an unauthorised rally. Police clashed violently with some participants, injuring two officers, according to police.

Another pro-Palestinian demonstration on Alexanderplatz in central Berlin involving about 100 people was also broken up on Friday evening. Police said on Saturday that any would-be protesters were "aggressively approached and consistently expelled from the square".

Authorities in Berlin have banned most pro-Palestinian rallies or demonstrations in the weeks since the 7 October attack by Hamas.

Moscow warns it could seize EU assets if von der Leyen follows through with threat to steal Russia's frozen funds

Russia has threatened to seize assets held by European Union member states that it deems unfriendly if the EU proceeds with what it perceives as the appropriation of frozen Russian funds to support Ukraine's post-war recovery.

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma, warned that Moscow would respond with measures that would incur a higher cost on the EU if it targeted Russian assets, many of which are situated in Belgium, reports Reuters.

Volodin accused certain European politicians, particularly European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, of contemplating the diversion of Russia's frozen funds to further the militarization of Kyiv.

He emphasized that such a decision would necessitate a proportionate response from Russia, resulting in the confiscation of assets from countries regarded as unfriendly exceeding the value of Russia's frozen assets in Europe.
