Hezbollah launched some 215 rockets and several more missiles and drones at northern Israel on Wednesday, in what it said was a response to the killing of a senior commander in the terror group by an Israeli airstrike a night earlier.

The barrages marked the largest attack carried out by Hezbollah during ongoing fighting on the Lebanon border amid the war in the Gaza Strip.

And the terror group vowed to ramp up its attacks in retaliation for Israel's elimination of top commander Taleb Abdullah. At a funeral procession in Beirut, senior Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine said the group would increase the intensity, force and quantity of its operations against Israel.

"If the enemy is screaming and moaning about what happened to it in northern Palestine, let him prepare himself to cry and wail," Safieddine said.

Do not expect the radical left to survey the wreckage of socialism and communism in history and accept that statism impoverishes people and erodes their freedoms. There will never be admissions by our elite that progressivism exists mainly for the acquisition of power by the utopian and virtue-signaling few, who ensure that they are never subject to the baleful implementation of their ideological agendas on the rest of us.

Still, leftists look around at what they have done to America in the last four years and implicitly know that the plan did not work, the people detested it, or both.

How do we know this? By a variety of barometers.

None of the major Biden "achievements" : 10 million illegal aliens across a nonexistent border, key components of the cost of living 25-30 percent higher than in 2020, wars and chaos abroad, DEI racial and tribal obsessions, wars on fossil fuels -poll at even 40-45 percent. Biden's own approval ratings, as the nominal architect of the most left-wing agenda since the Roosevelt administration, hover between 36 and 34 percent.

But most importantly, the left is not running on its record of the last three-and-a-half years but instead studiously ignoring it, at least temporarily through November.

Member states are seeking to improve the international monetary and financial system, the Russian foreign minister says.

BRICS is prioritizing the creation of a platform that will enable member states to conduct transactions in national currencies, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking at a meeting of the economic bloc's foreign ministers in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, Lavrov said:
"BRICS was actively working to implement the decisions of the Johannesburg summit last year, particularly when it comes to improving the international monetary and financial system, developing a platform for settlements in national currencies in mutual trade. Our agenda is extensive. It includes issues that will directly affect the future world order based on fair grounds."
He added that the bloc, which recently underwent a process of unprecedented expansion, is also looking to harmonize the framework of interaction between BRICS partners.

Earlier this month, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov revealed that BRICS finance ministers were exploring the possibility of launching a common blockchain-based system to facilitate financial transactions.

They're kidding, right? That "Joe Biden" is capable of being president? Not just for another four-year term, but right here and now? This has got to be the most pitiful case of national gaslighting since 218-AD when the Romans installed 14-year-old Heliogabalus to front for their empire. Like "JB," he reigned for four years (before the praetorian guard offed him). The Danish historian of ancient Rome, Barthold Niebuhr, said of him: ". . . [He] had nothing at all to make up for his vices, which are of such a kind that it is too disgusting even to allude to them."

Lately, even the news media has begun to report "Joe Biden's" senile mishaps. On Thursday at an outdoor photo op during the G7 meet-up in Italy, the ol' dawg just wandered off from the assembled pack of world leaders until Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni went and reeled him back in.

Ukraine confirms deep strikes into Russia with Western weapons

The head of Kiev's military intelligence claims Moscow is "already feeling" the attacks.

Ukraine is already using Western-supplied weapons for long-range strikes on Russian territory, the head of Kiev's Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) confirmed on Wednesday.

Asked by reporters how the use of foreign weapons has changed the situation on the battlefield and how Moscow is planning to respond to these attacks, Kirill Budanov said the Russian forces are "already feeling them."

He added that easing of restrictions on the use of Western-made munitions against Russian forces has "definitely made the situation easier" but "no more or less than that."

The intelligence chief was also asked how Russia might perceive the crossing of a potential "red line." Budanov argued that no such lines actually exist, claiming they have already been crossed multiple times.

Several of Kiev's Western backers recently gave Ukraine the green light to use weapons supplied by them to strike targets deep inside Russian territory. The US and other countries claimed the move was needed to stall Moscow's push into Kharkov Region, which borders on Russia's Belgorod Region.

The Warsaw-based facility will detect "deceptive narratives" on the Ukraine conflict, the US State Department has said

The US and Poland have launched an international group based in Warsaw to amplify Ukrainian voices in Western media and counter what they describe as Russian disinformation on the conflict with Russia, the State Department in Washington has announced.

The Ukraine Communications Group (UCG) is designed to detect alleged "deceptive narratives" from Russia that target Kiev and to "amplify Ukrainian voices," the State Department said in a statement on Monday.

The group will be based at a Polish Foreign Ministry site in Warsaw and will involve representatives from 12 countries including Canada, France, Germany, Finland, Italy and several other NATO member states, as well as Ukraine itself, according to the announcement.

Comment: The western "empire of lies" is intensifying its propaganda efforts as more people see through their lies and manipulations. They are panicking because Russia is gaining ground both on the battlefield and in spreading the truth globally.
More and more people can see the magician behind the curtain and that scares them.

Both Israel and Hamas committed war crimes in the early stages of the Gaza war, a U.N. inquiry found on Wednesday, saying that Israel's actions also constituted crimes against humanity because of the immense civilian losses.

The findings were from two parallel reports, one focusing on the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks and another on Israel's military response, published by the U.N. Commission of Inquiry (COI), which has an unusually broad mandate to collect evidence and identify perpetrators of international crimes committed in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Israel does not cooperate with the commission, which it says has an anti-Israel bias. The COI says Israel obstructs its work and prevented investigators from accessing both Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a June 8, 2024, Bloomberg article titled, "Putin Is Running Out of Time to Achieve Breakthrough in Ukraine," an optimistic prognosis was made regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine in favor of Kiev.

The article claims that Russia has made "limited progress" along the line of contact, including along the newly-opened front in Kharkov and that as "billions in arms start flowing" into Ukraine, Ukrainian forces will be given the opportunity to "counter-attack."

The "billions in arms" Bloomberg cites refers to the renewed flow of US military assistance after months of delays in passing funding in the US Congress. However, recalling the flagging impact of US arms transfers to Ukraine even before the funding delays, and a closer look at the actual quantities associated with these packages versus Russian military production, tells an entirely different story.

Bloomberg claims that the renewed flow of US arms is eroding Russia's military advantage. However, this is simply not true.

It can't be ruled out that Zelensky might task one of his pilots with carrying out a mission directly from NATO territory without first stopping at a Kiev-controlled airfield in order to provoke Russia into striking the base from which it departed in self-defense.

Ukrainian Air Force head of aviation Sergey Golubtsov told US state-run Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in an interview over the weekend that Kiev plans to store some of its F-16s in NATO states for reserve and training purposes. While this might sound like a pragmatic policy, particularly since it would deter Russia from destroying its entire fleet since President Putin recently mocked speculation about him plotting to attack NATO as "bullshit", it actually raises the risk of World War III.

Comment: For NATO to not only endorse this policy, but become various parties to it is proof of intent.

The BRICS countries should work together to promote peace and prevent the onset of a new Cold War, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said.

Speaking at the BRICS foreign ministers' meeting in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod on Monday, Wang stated that some major powers still harbor a "Cold War mentality." According to the diplomat, this attitude directly contradicts UN Security Council resolutions and undermines the authority of multilateral mechanisms.

China is willing to work with Russia to maintain strategic cooperation, respond to external pressures, and promote the sustained progress of bilateral relations, he said.
