Lukashenka claims Wagner boss Prigozhin is in Russia, not Belarus

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Russian mercenary group Wagner -- who led a short-lived mutiny last month -- is in Russia and not in Belarus, the leader of Belarus, Alyaksandr Lukashenka, claimed.

Speaking to reporters in Minsk on July 6, Lukashenka also said that Wagner fighters have remained at the camps where they had lived before the rebellion on June 24.

"As for Prigozhin, he is in St. Petersburg. He is not on the territory of Belarus," Lukashenka said, without providing any evidence to support his claim.

The whereabouts of Prigozhin have remained unknown since his fighters briefly captured a southern Russian city and marched toward Moscow last month, representing the biggest threat to Russian President Vladimir Putin in his more than two decades in power.

On June 27, Lukashenka said that Prigozhin was in Belarus.

Comment: Lukashenko offers clarifications:
Wagner troops could be used to defend Belarus after they relocate from Russia, where they took part in a failed revolt last month, President Alexander Lukashenko has said.

Military personnel attached to Evgeny Prigozhin's private military company are being transferred to the country subject to "certain conditions," including that they can be deployed instantly if they're needed to "defend the state," he explained. "I'm absolutely not worried and not troubled that we'll have a certain number of these fighters stationed here [in Belarus]."

The likes of Polish President Andrzej Duda and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky have vowed that "they won't leave Belarus alone," Lukashenko said, adding that "he must react" to such threats as supreme commander of the armed forces. "The experience that Wagner and its commanders have, they'll gladly pass it on to our military.... The ones that we need: in tactics, combat operations."

When asked about the possibility of Wagner attempting a mutiny in Belarus like they did in Russia last month, Lukashenko replied: "I don't think that Wagner will somehow rise up and turn its guns against the Belarusian authorities and the Belarusian state. Everything happens in life. But today I don't see such a situation."

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that the Russian authorities "don't have either the ability or desire" to track Prigozhin's movements. All of the statements made by Moscow and Belarus regarding the fate of Wagner in the wake of the failed mutiny "remain relevant," he added.

In a short message on social media earlier this week, Prigozhin claimed that the botched uprising by his men was aimed at "fighting traitors and mobilizing the society" of Russia. "I think we succeeded in many of those goals," he claimed.

When it seems that the whole world is against you, remember that the plane does not take off in the wind, but against it. — source unknown, but attributed to Henry Ford and mentioned by Ayn Rand.
Once again, the West has raised a white noise and continues to pour accusations against Russia with all its might. Everyone is trying - from the [senile] senators in the U.S. Senate, sick with heavy Russophobia, to the unstable old men in the White House. It would seem that everything has long been said and done. Why are Western politicians again spouting nonsense about the need for a "strong signal" about Kiev's protectorate's participation in the North Atlantic Alliance? Why do they continue to conjure peace for Ukraine only on the terms of the Nazi Kiev regime? Why so much rage after almost a year and a half of the SMO?

Israel ends 2-day West Bank offensive, leaving Palestinian residents to deal with vast destruction in their neighborhoods

© AP Photo/Majdi MohammedJuly 4, 2023: A Palestinian official said 80% of Jenin's homes were damaged in the two day raid which killed 12 residents
Palestinian residents of the Jenin refugee camp encountered scenes of widespread destruction Wednesday as they emerged from their homes and returned from nearby shelters following the most intense Israeli military operation in the occupied West Bank in nearly two decades.

The two-day offensive, meant to crack down on Palestinian militants after a series of recent attacks, destroyed the camp's narrow roads and alleyways, sent thousands of people fleeing their homes and killed 12 Palestinians. One Israeli soldier also was killed.

While Israel claimed the operation had inflicted a tough blow on the militants, it remained unclear whether there would be any lasting effect on reducing more than a year of Israeli-Palestinian violence. The offensive also further weakened the Palestinian Authority, Israel's erstwhile partner in battling militants, which already had little control in the camp to begin with.

Comment: What is never mentioned is, as with Gaza, Jenin is densely populated. The Jenin camp is .5 kilometer in area (1/4 of a square mile), yet houses 14,000 residents. How was the "raid" anything but a turkey shoot on the part of the Israelis? Chalk up another one for the The Most Moral Army in the World™.

Poland begins transfer of ground forces to border with Belarus

In the coming days, additional forces of the Polish army will be deployed to the border of Poland with Belarus. This was reported on the official page on the social network of the 12th Mechanized Brigade of the Polish Army.

According to the report, at least 1000 soldiers and 200 pieces of military equipment will go to the east of Poland in the coming days. The presence of ground forces on the border with Belarus aims to demonstrate readiness to quickly respond to any attempts to destabilize the situation. This is also reported by the Polish 12th mechanized brigade.

The operation, within the framework of which the troops are transferred, is called "Safe Podlachie". It is possible that the order to start the operation was given in connection with the appearance in the media space of information about the imminent arrival in Belarus of a large number of fighters of the Russian PMC "Wagner". Polish President Andrzej Duda said earlier that the country considers this event a very negative and unpleasant event.

Comment: Meanwhile Poland is still importing 50% of its gas from Russia.

Hungary will not implement the EU's mass migration quotas - PM Orbán

orban
The Prime Minister put it this way: an effective Hungarian model should be replaced by a new European model that is obviously not working.

Hungary will find a legal and political way to not implement the decisions in Brussels, he declared.

He called the situation sad and said: Hungary must defend itself not only against illegal migrants and human traffickers, but also against Brussels, and it will do so.

Viktor Orbán also spoke about how Hungarians protect not only Hungary, but the whole of Europe, including Austria, against illegal immigrants.

Dutch government resigns after failure to reach agreement on problem of mass migration

Netherland's Prime Minister Mark Rutte
© Darko Vojinovic/Copyright 2023 The APNetherland's Prime Minister Mark Rutte during a press conference after talks with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic and Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, July 3, 2023.
The resignation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte, the longest-serving premier of the nation, means the country will face a general election later this year. Rutte and his government will remain in office in a caretaker capacity until a new ruling coalition is chosen.

The Dutch government collapsed Friday because of irreconcilable differences within the four-party coalition about how to rein in migration, a divisive issue that has split nations across Europe.

The resignation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte, the longest-serving premier of the nation, means the country will face a general election later this year. Rutte and his government will remain in office in a caretaker capacity until a new ruling coalition is chosen.

"It is no secret that the coalition partners have very different views on migration policy," Rutte told reporters in The Hague. "And today, unfortunately, we have to draw the conclusion that those differences are irreconcilable. That is why I will immediately ... offer the resignation of the entire Cabinet to the king in writing"

Comment: The very same councils that don't have enough money to provide homes for the citizens it already has?

Is a 'right-wing' government also on the cards for the Netherlands?
BREAKING: the Dutch government has COLLAPSED. FINALLY. After 10+ years of Mark Rutte's globalist destruction policies, we now have a real chance of getting our country back.

From what I can tell about the situation now, I think the actual fall of the cabinet itself is all for show. The 'disagreement' about immigration that they're mentioning as the deciding factor, is not the real issue, because all government parties are in favour of more mass migration, including Mark Rutte's VVD.

Other than Poland, and Hungary, the vast majority of governments that have been formed may claim to be against mass migration, but, ultimately most concede to the establishment agenda of mass migration.

Rutte just seems to think that he can trick the Dutch people into believing that he actually wants a stricter immigration policy this time around, and he thinks he can get re-elected again if he makes these false new promises.

Do not fall for it. We cannot let him win again.

If the Dutch people stop falling for his lies and get rid of him and his globalist policies once and for all, we can actually turn things around, stop the expropriation of our farmers, push back on immigration, and take back our national sovereignty from organisations like the EU and the WEF. In other words, this is a massive opportunity for us.

Let's pray that enough people have woken up and will actually vote for change this time. We will not get a second chance.

US confirms decision to provide cluster munitions to Ukraine

jake sullivan
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan
The United States will provide cluster munitions to Ukraine to fulfill Kyiv's request to obtain the weapons for use only in defense of its territory, U.S. national-security adviser Jake Sullivan said on July 7.

Sullivan told reporters at the White House that sending thousands of cluster munitions to Ukraine is the right decision for the United States as Kyiv seeks to push ahead with its counteroffensive against Russia's invasion.

President Joe Biden approved the proposal to send the munitions as part of the next package of military aid after unanimous recommendation from his advisers, Sullivan said.

Comment: More from Moon of Alabama:
[The announcement, from the Washington Post] is accompanied by false statements that Russia has used such ammunition in Ukraine:
It follows months of internal administration debate over whether to supply the controversial munitions, which are banned by most countries in the world.

Cluster weapons explode in the air over a target, releasing dozens to hundreds of smaller submunitions across a wide area.

More than 120 countries have joined a convention banning their use as inhumane and indiscriminate, in large part because of high failure rates that litter the landscape with unexploded submunitions that endanger both friendly troops and civilians, often for decades after the end of a conflict. The United States, Ukraine and Russia — which is alleged to have used them extensively in Ukraine — are not parties to the convention. Eight of NATO's 31 members, including the United States, have not ratified the convention.
It is well documented, by Human Rights Watch and others, that the Ukrainian military has used cluster munitions. There is nothing to support a claim that Russia has done so. The Pentagon has rejected claimed evidence of Russian cluster munition attacks:
Commenting on videos depicting alleged Russian cluster munition use, DOD officials stated during a March 1, 2022 press conference that "we've seen the same video that you have but we have not assessed that it is definitive with respect to the use of cluster munitions. So we are not in a position to confirm the use of cluster munitions at this time." In a similar manner, a DOD official stated during March 3, 2022, press conference that DOD was still unable to confirm Russia's use of cluster munitions.
...

Last year the Congressional Research Service found that the real dud rate is higher than what the Pentagon claims:
There appear to be significant discrepancies among failure rate estimates. Some manufacturers claim a submunition failure rate of 2% to 5%, whereas mine clearance specialists have frequently reported failure rates of 10% to 30%. A number of factors influence submunition reliability. These include delivery technique, age of the submunition, air temperature, landing in soft or muddy ground, getting caught in trees and vegetation, and submunitions being damaged after dispersal, or landing in such a manner that their impact fuzes fail to initiate.
The Pentagon claims that the ammunition it will provide has a lower dud rate. But it never produced data from tests that would support its claims.

By agreeing to provide the munition Biden is circumventing or breaking the law:
There is no waiver provision in the 1 percent limit Congress has placed on cluster munition dud rates, written into Defense Department appropriations for the last seven years. Biden would bypass it and Congress, according to a White House official, drawing down the munitions from existing defense stocks under a rarely used provision of the Foreign Assistance Act, which allows the president to provide aid, regardless of appropriations or arms export restrictions, as long as he determines that it is in the vital U.S. national security interest.
Unfortunately neither Congress nor the courts are likely to intervene.

The cluster ammunition, like the Uranium tank ammunition the U.S. and Britain have sent to Ukraine, will make large parts of the country inhabitable and unusable for agricultural purposes. It will also make attacks and retreats through affected areas difficult for military forces on both sides.

Cluster ammunition was made during the cold war for defending against large scale armored attacks. They are imprecise area attack weapons. Their usefulness against the small unit attacks with a handful of tanks which we have often seen during this war is doubtful.

As the U.S. has run out of other ammunition what will it provide to Ukraine after the DPICM fail to turn around the fate of the Ukrainian army?

Chemical weapons? Nukes?

The Bidens' existential threats to the American rule of law

Biden
© Reuters/Kevin LamarqueUS President Joe Biden
President Joe Biden, the Biden grifting conglomerate, the Department of Justice, and the FBI under its fourth consecutive weaponized director, are in danger of subverting the American system of law. They are in various ways undermining the tradition of self-reported income tax computation and voluntary compliance. Our tax institutions, of course, are based on the real deterrence of a disinterested, uncompromised Internal Revenue Service. Without it, the income revenues of the United States are existentially threatened.

So far, any negative reputation of the IRS has rested with natural complaints that it is too zealous in hounding out American taxpayers in all walks of life. Or citizens often object that the IRS must enforce a tax code that is innately unfair.

But not until now, has the IRS itself ever been under a shadow of such corruption? Has it been in the past ever found to have applied so blatantly and deliberately one standard of tax enforcement to elites and quite another to everyday Americans?

Again, if that charge of unequal treatment in tax compliance were to prove true, then Humpy-Dumpty like, the entire American system of revenue collection would shatter.

In other words, millions of Americans might shrug,
"If Joe Biden, President of the United States and his criminally minded son, can get away with avoiding millions of dollars in taxes, then should not I, a nobody, at least have the right to avoid hundreds of dollars in taxes?"

Comment: Basement sitter Joe Biden was chosen as the presidential nominee because he was unfit to hold the office. The Biden family's transgressions provide a smörgåsbord for leverage and control.
