Beyond denial! Deadly Ukraine fighter jet bombing caught on tape

Earlier today we reported that even as the western media blackout of events in Ukraine gets more black, the ongoing civil war is getting ever more uncivil, following a Ukraine fighter jet attack on the east Ukraine town of Lugansk, in which it struck not only the local administration building, but a neighboring area, resulting in numerous civilian casualties and injuries. Kiev was quick to deny that it was using its airforce on its own people, claiming instead that the explosion quite clearly caught on tape was merely locals trying to unsuccessfully shoot at the fighter jet.

So for your viewing displeasure, because the reality of yet another fratricidal war is hardly enjoyable, and so readers can make up their own minds, here is the moment of the fighter jet bombing caught on tape, as well as the tragic consequences.

The first clip shows CCTV footage as the rocket explosion is spread out across a park neighboring the administration building.

Comment: How does the Western prostitute media cover it? The Saker comments thus:
The BBC is wonderful. Here are the two Russia-linked headlines today: However, they did mention the massacre in Lugansk (in the middle of the 2nd article). Like that:
In Luhansk, there was an explosion in the main regional building seized by the separatists several weeks ago. It was not immediately known what caused the blast. Unconfirmed reports say there were casualties. Pro-Russian groups accused Ukraine's military of carrying out an air strike. Kiev denied the claim, suggesting that separatists in the building could have mishandled a portable anti-aircraft missile system.
Ain't it wonderful? And notice the politically correct Ukie spelling of Lugansk as "Luhansk".

They are just *priceless* in their absolute indifference to even most obvious and over-proven facts. Alain Soral is absolutely correct, nowadays a journalist (in the West) is either a prostitute, or unemployed.

Media presstitutes AFP distorts Ayatollah Khamenei's remarks on Takfiris

AFP news agency (Agence France-Presse) has distorted remarks by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei about support for "Takfiri groups" in Syria.

In a meeting with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah in Tehran on Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei warned that the threats posed by "Takfiri groups" will eventually backfire on their regional supporters.
"Unfortunately, some regional countries are not aware of the danger that these Takfiri groups will pose to them in the future and continue supporting these groups," the Leader stated.
However, AFP distorted the Leader's remarks, using the phrase "extremist Sunni Muslim groups" instead of Takfiri groups.

In its initial version of the remarks, AFP said, "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday warned regional countries of the 'high price' they would eventually pay for supporting extremist Sunni Muslim groups fighting Tehran's key ally Syria."

The news agency subsequently made a change to the piece, but once again inaccurately used the term "rebels" to refer to Takfiri groups.

In its apparently amended story, AFP wrote, "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday warned regional countries of the 'high price' they would eventually pay for supporting rebels fighting against Tehran's key ally Syria."

It also claimed that Takfiri is "a synonymous term" Iranian officials use for Sunni extremists.

However, Takfiri groups have declared that they have a right to declare any Muslim and non-Muslim as apostates.

NATO Kiev jets bomb downtown Lugansk - At least 5 innocent bystanders killed

At least five people are reported killed after an explosion in Lugansk administration building. The blast came as Kiev deployed fighter jets to the city in eastern Ukraine. This and heavy gunfire on the ground caused panic among civilians.

The death toll was first reported by RIA Novosti; later it was confirmed by local self-defense forces, who said the blast was caused by the army's fighter jets striking the building.

"Ukraine's air force struck Lugansk downtown at 16.00 pm. Military aircraft made a targeted strike, deploying cluster bombs. The administration building is partially destroyed," the government of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic (LNR) said.

Many wounded were trapped inside the administration headquarters, which caught on fire. About six ambulance vehicles have arrived at the site. The death toll may rise.

Those killed - three women and two men - are all civilians, witnesses told RT. One of them was the LNR's health minister, Natalia Arkhipova. During the air-strike, she was talking to another woman on the administration building's steps, the self-proclaimed republic's premier, Vasiliy Nikitin, said.

Comment: So here we have evidence of Kiev using airplanes to bomb its own people. This is the so-called "red line" that were invoked so many times in the past by the US government to justify its invasions of other countries. Yet, we can almost be certain that in this case, not a single word of condemnation will be heard from Western government and the mainstream media.

Ecuador sends half its gold reserves to Goldman Sachs in exchange for "liquidity". Good luck getting it back!

Image
Ecuador agreed to transfer more than half its gold reserves to Goldman Sachs Group Inc. for three years to give the government easier access to cash.

The central bank said it will send 466,000 ounces of gold to Goldman Sachs, worth about $580 million at current prices, and get the same amount back three years from now. In return, Ecuador will get "instruments of high security and liquidity" and expects to earn a profit of $16 million to $20 million over the term of the accord. The central bank didn't detail additional terms of the transactions, such as any fees or financing costs paid to Goldman Sachs.

The deal comes as the South American country's government, which defaulted on about $3.2 billion of bonds five years ago, seeks to cover a budget deficit forecast by the Finance Ministry to swell to a record $4.94 billion this year. President Rafael Correa said in April he also planned to sell about $700 million of foreign debt this year in the country's first international bond sale since the 2008 and 2009 default.

As Kiev forces slaughtered in east Ukraine, new 'Chocolate King' says he'll pay anyone willing to confront self-defense militias 16 times average salary

ukraine fighters
The Ukrainian minister of defense said the Kiev regime would pay its fighters 16 times an average salary.

"In order to improve motivation and in accordance with oligarch Poroshenko's election promise, the Kiev regime is increasing the pay for its fighters who see the antifascist and pro-Russian population as terrorists to 20,000 hrivnyi a month," Makhail Koval said, Global Research reported.

"The amount corresponds to some USD 1,700, which, for Ukraine, is like golden (though bloody) rain. Average salaries are about $100 or so a month, and conscripted soldiers were paid half of that," Koval noted.

He said this "boosting" of motivation for killing and dying for oligarchs, bandit Banderism and NATO accords with the character and mindset of oligarchs.

Pope, Netanyahu spar over Jesus' native language - Netanyahu reveals ignorance

Pope Francis Netanyahu

Pope Francis and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traded words on Monday over the language spoken by Jesus two millennia ago.

"Jesus was here, in this land. He spoke Hebrew," Netanyahu told Francis, at a public meeting in Jerusalem in which the Israeli leader cited a strong connection between Judaism and Christianity.

"Aramaic," the pope interjected.

"He spoke Aramaic, but he knew Hebrew," Netanyahu shot back.

Like many things in the Middle East, where the pope is on the last leg of a three-day visit, modern-day discourse about Jesus is complicated and often political.

A Jew, Jesus was born in Bethlehem in the Roman-ruled region of Judea, now the Israeli-occupied West Bank. He grew up in Nazareth and ministered in Galilee, both in northern Israel, and died in Jerusalem, a city revered by Jews, Christians and Muslims, and to which Israelis and Palestinians lay claim.

Palestinians sometimes describe Jesus as a Palestinian. Israelis object to that.

Israeli linguistics professor Ghil'ad Zuckermann told Reuters that both Netanyahu, son of a distinguished Jewish historian, and the pope, the spiritual leader of the world's 1.2 billion Catholics, had a point.

"Jesus was a native Aramaic speaker," he said about the largely defunct Semitic language closely related to Hebrew. "But he would have also known Hebrew because there were extant religious writings in Hebrew."

Zuckermann said that during Jesus' time, Hebrew was spoken by the lower classes - "the kind of people he ministered to".

Flashback What is "Snowden's secret?"

Edward Snowden
© UnknownAmerican "Whistleblower" Edward Snowden
Fifty years before NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden captured the world's attention, the phrase "Snowden's secret" was already becoming a talisman of American literature and popular culture.

Yet today, as a real-life Snowden leaks secrets right and left, the media has failed to notice that we've heard the phrase "Snowden's secret" before. Incredible as it seems, "Snowden's secret" is the culminating revelation of one of the masterpieces of American literature: Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22, first published in 1961.

It's almost as if the deep background to "Snowden's secret" is being kept secret.

Catch-22 was the greatest antiwar novel of the 1960s - a darkly hilarious marriage of the sensibilities of Mark Twain and Louis-Ferdinand Céline. The story follows the adventures of Yossarian, an American bombardier nearly driven mad by the horrors of World War II and the military-industrial-intelligence bureaucracy.

The themes and events of the novel are tied together by oblique references to "Snowden's secret." The brooding, half-crazy Yossarian carries Snowden's awful secret around in his breast, but it isn't until the end of the novel that the reader learns what it is. It turns out that Snowden was a member of Yossarian's bomber crew who was killed in action by shrapnel. Snowden died a terrible death in Yossarian's arms, his entrails spilling horribly out of his belly.
At the book's climax, Yossarian, deeply traumatized by Snowden's awful death, finally explains Snowden's secret to the reader: "Man was matter, that was Snowden's secret. Drop him out a window, and he'll fall. Set fire to him and he'll burn. Bury him and he'll rot, like other kinds of garbage. The spirit gone, man is garbage. That was Snowden's secret. Ripeness was all."
Pondering "Snowden's secret" inspires Yossarian to act heroically - by deserting from the US military and thereby refusing to betray his friends to an insane, out-of-control bureaucracy. Yossarian's courageous act of desertion, inspired by the spilled guts of Snowden, ends the novel on an upbeat note of endless possibility.

Israel gags nuclear whistleblower Vanunu invited to speak at human rights conference

A decade after his release from prison for leaking information on Israel's nuclear weapon program, Mordechai Vanunu has been denied permission to attend a human rights conference in London.

Vanunu, who was released in 2004 after spending 18 years in prison for leaking details of Israel's nuclear program to British media, had planned to visit the UK capital for three days to attend a conference sponsored by Amnesty International and address the British parliament, Haaretz, the Israeli Daily reported on Monday.

Israeli Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar and Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, however, refused to approve the trip. Vanunu petitioned the High Court of Justice to reverse the decision, but judging by previous appeals that does not seem likely.

Since leaving prison in June 2004, the nuclear technician has been forbidden to leave the country or speak with foreigners without permission from the Shin Bet security service.

The High Court has rejected seven successive petitions presented by Vanunu's lawyers to reverse course. Most recently, in December 2013, the court said the top-secret material they were shown proves that Vanunu "still has a treasure of classified information and hasn't recanted his intent to disseminate this information."

A four-year-old girl whose face was blown off during a US drone strike in Afghanistan was kidnapped by American troops and hidden by an international organization, her family says.

The child, named Aisha Rashid, was travelling with her parents, a sibling and several other relatives from Kabul to their home in the village of Gamber in the Kunar province on a hot September day, when the drone exploded, Expressen.se reported. An uncle, Meya Jan, is at home on his farm in that village when he receives a phone call about the strike from the neighboring village. He and others rush to the strike.

Suddenly they hear a voice. "Water, water..."

It is Aisha. She is missing a hand, her leg is bleeding, and there is nothing left of her eyes or nose.

The officially released agenda of the prestigious Bilderberg club meeting is not true, claims RT show host Daniel Estulin, a longtime watcher of the 'secret world govt' group. He says he obtained the real agenda for this year's gathering in Copenhagen.

An insider leaked the list of talking points for the ongoing Bilderberg conference to the investigative journalist last week, he said. The list has nine items, seven of which he shared:
