Puppet Masters
The latest example of this is a White House order to the Justice Department that our immigration judges will "use language that is consistent with our character as a nation of opportunity and of welcome." Translation: immigration judges are no longer allowed to use the terms "alien" or "illegal alien" in their legal opinions.
Instead of using those two legally accurate terms for people in the country unlawfully, the Justice Department recommends gentler, more politically correct terminology like "respondent, applicant, petitioner, beneficiary, migrant, noncitizen, or non-U.S. citizen."

Israeli strikes on targets in Southern Lebanon are seen in footage released by the IDF
August 4, 2021
The IDF confirmed the strikes early on Thursday morning, saying the overnight sorties targeted "infrastructure used for terrorism" and rocket sites, vowing to "continue and even intensify" its operations in Lebanon.
Video footage has circulated online purporting to show the IDF strikes in progress.
Speaking to journalists in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Shoigu strongly disagreed with Zelensky's assessment that Crimea belongs to Ukraine. As well as being the minister of defense, Shoigu has also been selected by the ruling United Russia party to lead the faction into the upcoming parliamentary elections.
"The leaders of Ukraine come and go, but Crimea has always been, is, and will be Russian," Shoigu summarized.
On Tuesday, in an interview with TV channel Dom, Zelensky argued that citizens of Ukraine have fond recollections associated with Crimea and the Black Sea, claiming that his fellow countrymen love the peninsula more than Russians do.
"I lived there. It is my land. It is not their land and will not be. They will not raise their future generations here. Their children won't live here. They won't die for our land. It will never be Russian territory."

Taiwanese soldiers fire US-made M109A2 howitzers during a military exercise
Hsinchu county, northern Taiwan
The Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned the proposed sale on Thursday, insisting that Taiwan is an "inalienable" part of the country's territory, while condemning Washington for emboldening Taiwanese separatist factions and threatening "peace and stability" in the region.
"China will resolutely take legitimate and necessary counter-measures in light of the development of the situation," the ministry said in a statement, adding that the weapons sale "runs counter to international law and basic principles in international relations."
Biden's State Department authorized the sale on Wednesday, allowing Taiwan to purchase some $750 million in self-propelled artillery units, precision-guided munition kits, .50 caliber machine guns and vehicles. The US Congress has 30 days to challenge the move starting Wednesday, though lawmakers are not expected to block the transfer.
Paul made an appearance on Fox & Friends and took issue with White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci's advice in general as well as a recent Juliette Kayyem op-ed in The Atlantic titled "Unvaccinated People Need to Bear the Burden."
Paul responded to Kayyem's op-ed first, which advocated for only vaccinated people to be allowed on domestic flights:
"Obscene. You know that if we now disagree in our personal medical decisions with the left, they're going to declare that we're a terrorist and that we can't fly."

Journalist Glenn Greenwald weighed in Wednesday on Tucker Carlson Tonight, arguing that the former president aims to get rich at everyone else's expense.
"It is the ethos of neoliberalism," he said. "Leaders get rich at the expense of everybody else."
According to Greenwald, presidential libraries as a concept did not exist for the150 years since U.S. presidents are expected to be respected simply as civil servants. "You don't need like a shrine to your existence," Greenwald said.
Comment: This is the equivalent of Obama giving the American people a three-fingered fist.

It was the third day of attacks along the volatile border with Lebanon, a major Middle East flashpoint where tensions between Israel and Iran, which backs Hezbollah, occasionally play out. But comments by Israeli officials and Hezbollah's actions suggested the two were seeking to avoid a major conflict at this time.
Israel said it fired back after 19 rockets were launched from Lebanon, and Prime Minister Naftali Bennett swiftly convened a meeting with the country's top defense officials. No casualties were reported. "We do not wish to escalate to a full war, yet of course we are very prepared for that," said Lt. Col. Amnon Shefler, spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces.
Sirens blared across the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee near the Lebanon border Friday morning. Hezbollah said in a statement that it hit "open fields" in the disputed Shebaa farms area.
The group said it fired 10 rockets, calling it retaliation for Israeli airstrikes the day before. Israel said those strikes were in response to rocket fire from southern Lebanon in recent days that was not claimed by any group.
Shebaa Farms is an enclave where the borders of Israel, Lebanon and Syria meet. Israel says it is part of the Golan Heights, which it captured from Syria in 1967. Lebanon and Syria say Shebaa Farms belong to Lebanon, while the United Nations says the area is part of Syria.
On Thursday, Biden told the Department of Homeland Security to implement a "deferral of removal" for up to 18 months for thousands of Hong Kong residents currently staying in the US.
In a memo, the president accused China of assaulting Hong Kong's autonomy, of "undermining its remaining democratic processes and institutions", and of restricting academic freedom, and freedom of the press. "The US will not waver in our support of the people in Hong Kong," he pledged.
Biden's offer of a 'safe haven' exposes Washington's "sinister intention" to play the "Hong Kong card" to contain the city's development and to undermine China, the Hong Kong branch of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Friday. However, the people in China and Hong Kong, in particular, see through this "shameless political manipulation" by the Americans and that's why "it is doomed to fail," it said.

In an update on Covid vaccine safety issues published on Friday, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) advised that tinnitus, more commonly known as ringing in the ears, as well as dizziness, should be included among the list of possible side effects of the single-shot vaccine, after finding the conditions were linked to the jab.
Comment: The vaccine cabal seems hell-bent to demonize any option other than the gene-editing mRNA potions being pushed by Pfizer and Moderna. Attenuated-whole virus vaccines have been around for decades, and while problematic in their own right, they don't permanently alter the human genome. Furthermore, the mRNA vax had NO significant safety testing before being rushed to market. Notice that the most effective jab has been produced by Russia, yet it has had the most trouble being approved by western countries. What is really going on?

A person receives a dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the Central Middlesex Hospital in London, Britain, August 1, 2021.
The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) announced on Thursday that the first dose of the Pfizer Covid vaccine will be offered to all 16- and 17-year-olds without needing the consent of their parents, reversing its own recommendation from just two weeks ago.
The independent panel of experts, which advises the UK government on immunisation, had earlier said that the jab should not be given to minors unless they were over 12 and suffered from medical conditions that would make them vulnerable to Covid-19, or lived with someone deemed high-risk. JCVI said it will issue a recommendation about when the second dose should be administered at a later date.
Comment: There's a palpable sense of urgency, bordering on panic, in this latest maneuver. What is driving the vax crowd? It can't just be money.

Comment: Israel has been itching for a reason to make good on its threats to Iran and would like nothing better than it be executed (and paid for) by a global 'collective effort'. New guys, new lies, familiar contempt.
