'We're Ready for War with Russia': Military Press Briefing Given by US and NATO Generals

tanks have arrived in Germany
According to reports of US Army Europe, some 4,000 US troops and 2,000 tanks have arrived in Germany in transit from Bremerhaven to Poland. The troops are from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division.

These US troops will join up with those deployed by several NATO member states. According to reports, the deployment on Russia's doorstep "will be ready" prior to the January 20 inauguration of president Donald Trump.

A press briefing by US and German military commanders involved in the deployment of US-NATO Armed Forces to Russia's border was held. (video of press briefing below published on January 09, 2017)

It should be emphasized that this deployment is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve 2016 which has been ongoing for several months.

It's purpose is also to put pressure on Russia, largely in view of Russia's military involvement in Syria.

#ThanksObama: New NSA rules allow to share data with 16 other agencies, without a warrant

In virtually its last gasp, the Obama administration has quietly given the National Security Agency wider powers to share intercepted surveillance data with 16 other government agencies, including the FBI, DEA and CIA, before applying privacy protections.

Intelligence officials and the Justice Department finalized new regulations for sharing satellite transmissions, phone calls, emails and other online communications swept up abroad by the National Security Agency with 16 agencies that fall under the Office of National Intelligence.

"In the past, there were strict limits on the NSA's dissemination of this data to domestic law enforcement agencies," Attorney General Loretta Lynch said about the new rules released on Thursday, according to AP. "The new regulations eviscerate those limits."

Lynch signed the new regulations on January 3, after James Clapper, director of national intelligence signed them on December 15, according to a 23-page, largely declassified copy of the new rules.

Narcissism of The Establishment - The Democrats' Game of Thrones

Cersei Lanister of 'Game Of Thrones'

Shame is an emotional state that is felt when a behavior does not match up with a person's expectation of him/herself and/or societal standards. One normally feels shame in situations of embarrassment and humiliation, which ensues from being exposed either physically or otherwise, as in the biblical story of Adam and Eve.

Shame evokes a series of physiological responses that are universal and include activation of the sympathetic nervous system and stress response. According to psychoanalytic theory, chronic feelings of shame are coupled with a sense of inferiority, are incredibly agonizing and evoke the construction of narcissistic defenses. This makes sense, as when a person feels shame and insecurity at the inner self, s/he seeks constant emotional support, fortification and justification from the outside.

Alongside guilt, shame guides and regulates human behaviors within a society to promote equilibrium. Accordingly, shaming has been used as a threat, punishment and means of control.A fictional, though representative version of shaming is epitomized in Cersei Lannister's walk of shame from George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones.

When feelings of shame are overbearing, people with narcissistic defenses typically run and hide, blame others for their predicament and lash out in rage regardless of personal or societal costs. Back in Game of Thrones' Casterly Rock, Cersei perfectly demonstrates the destructiveness and desperation of narcissistic defenses in an epic fashion. In response to her shaming, she successfully plots to burn her antagonists while remaining oblivious and indifferent to the consequences her actions have on her son, King Tommen, who kills himself in grief.

It stands to reason that the percent of narcissists who are politicians within a corrupt and immoral system is larger than that found within the general population. Instead of what would be an agonizing, though mature process of coming to terms with shameful acts of corruption, war and general inadequacy, many politicians initially deny all accusations and when irrevocable proof of their perversions is presented, they blame others in hysterical and destructive raging fits.

Berlin Christmas Market Attack Raises Questions About Security Failures

As more details emerge about last month's Berlin Christmas market attack, German authorities are struggling to explain why they failed to prevent the attack despite knowing full well that Anis Amri was a ticking time bomb.

"The attack was carried out by a man whom security officials across Germany were very well aware of," North Rhine-Westphalia's Interior Minister Ralf Jäger acknowledged at a January 5 meeting of the state's parliamentary interior committee in Düsseldorf.[1]

Jäger pointed out that top federal and regional security officials discussed the potential danger posed by Amri seven times at the Joint Counter-Terrorism Center (GTAZ) in Berlin in the months before the attack.[2]

Counter-terrorism experts rated the 24-year-old Tunisian national a "five" on the eight-point scale used to assess an individual's potential danger, with "one" representing the highest threat. This proved to be a fatal mistake.

Nevertheless, the Interior Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia defended the actions taken - or not taken - by security authorities. Jäger emphasized that "in a constitutional state, we can't simply lock up threats as a precautionary measure."

Comment: Germann discussed the timeline in a recent conversation with Spiro Skouras at Newsbud:

Abbas warns Palestinians may reverse recognition of Israel if Trump moves US embassy to Jerusalem

Palestinians may reverse their recognition of Israel if Donald Trump moves America's Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas said, adding that the move "would destroy the two-state solution."

"I wrote to president [-elect Donald] Trump to ask him not to do it. Not only would this move deprive the United States of all legitimacy in playing a role in conflict resolution, it would also destroy the two-state solution," Abbas said in an interview to Le Figaro newspaper, as cited by AFP.

According to the Palestinian leader, if the transfer takes place, "there would be several options for us, and we would discuss them with Arab countries."

"Reversing our recognition of the State of Israel is one of them. But we hope that it doesn't reach that point, and that, on the contrary, we will be able to work with the next American administration," he added.

Comment: Abbas keeps droning about a two-state solution when it appears that is a dead issue: Memo to Kerry: Support for one state is growing among Palestinians and Israelis and One democratic state in Palestine and Israel is the only practical solution

German media, citing no evidence, cries 'Russia's influence in EU has significantly increased'

Russia has allegedly "influenced" public opinion in Europe for years with the intent to undermine the "close alliance" of the EU and the US, German foreign intelligence and domestic security services said in a confidential report seen by Der Spiegel.

Russia has tried to escalate various social conflicts in European countries, as well as to undermine the close relations between Europe and the US by carrying out propaganda and disinformation campaigns alongside hacking attacks, according to a report prepared by the PsyOps (Psychological Operations) Group, comprised of members of the German foreign intelligence (BND) and domestic security service (BfV), Der Spiegel reports.

The report, which has been recently presented to the German government, says that Russia's malicious activities can be traced back for several years. It also adds that "Russia's influence in Europe has significantly increased." However, Der Spiegel says the report does not provide any details concerning specific cases of public opinion being allegedly manipulated by Russia.

Comment: Of course not because there probably isn't any so the unsubstantiated report gets published anyway. The anti-Russian propaganda is being fueled by what's going on with Trump in the US.

Comment: Russia doesn't need to have any programs to disrupt countries. All she has to do is show good stewardship in global politics and economies and that alone will make other countries think twice about the anti-Russia propaganda.
