Fox News host Tucker Carlson (L) met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, August 5, 2021.
Tucker Carlson interviewed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Thursday, introducing him as the only elected leader in the world who "publicly identifies as a western-style conservative".

"By rejecting the tenets of Neo-Liberalism, Viktor Orbán has personally offended and enraged" leaders in Washington, Carlson said. "Just a few years ago, his views would have seemed moderate and conventional. He thinks families are more important than banks. He believes countries need borders. For saying these things out loud, Orbán has been vilified. Left-wing NGOs have denounced him as a fascist, a destroyer of democracy."

Carlson noted that President Joe Biden called Orbán a "totalitarian dictator": "Official Washington despises Orbán so throroughly that many, including Neo-Cons in and around the State Department, are backing the open anti-Semites running against him in next April's elections in Hungary." (In May, Gateway Pundit was the first outlet in the US to report on the globalist campaign against Orbán.)

Biden orders immigration judges to stop speaking the truth - a brazen attempt to normalize illegal immigration

US President Joe Biden and the scales of justice
While the Biden Administration has spent the last six months demonstrating that it lacks the managerial competence to run a lemonade stand, it is clamping down on language unhelpful to its extremist agenda with the ruthless efficiency of an Amazon distribution facility.

The latest example of this is a White House order to the Justice Department that our immigration judges will "use language that is consistent with our character as a nation of opportunity and of welcome." Translation: immigration judges are no longer allowed to use the terms "alien" or "illegal alien" in their legal opinions.

Instead of using those two legally accurate terms for people in the country unlawfully, the Justice Department recommends gentler, more politically correct terminology like "respondent, applicant, petitioner, beneficiary, migrant, noncitizen, or non-U.S. citizen."

Israeli warplanes pound southern Lebanon, as IDF vows to 'continue and intensify' retaliation to rocket fire

Israeli strikes on targets in Southern Lebanon are seen in footage released by the IDF
August 4, 2021
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a series of airstrikes on Lebanese territory, calling them retaliation for cross-border rocket attacks after earlier firing scores of artillery rounds in response.

The IDF confirmed the strikes early on Thursday morning, saying the overnight sorties targeted "infrastructure used for terrorism" and rocket sites, vowing to "continue and even intensify" its operations in Lebanon.

Video footage has circulated online purporting to show the IDF strikes in progress.

Comment: Israel has been itching for a reason to make good on its threats to Iran and would like nothing better than it be executed (and paid for) by a global 'collective effort'.
Israel's defense minister has said the country's armed forces are ready to strike Iran should it become necessary, as tensions rise further after an Iran-linked attack on an Israeli tanker killed two people.

On Thursday, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz was asked by Ynet news whether Israel was ready to strike Iran. Gantz answered simply with one word - "Yes".

The minister went on to say that Tel Aviv sees it as important to mobilize the international community to counter Iran's influence and growing assertiveness.
"We can't tag Iran as solely an Israeli problem and absolve the rest of the world from this issue."
When questioned, Gantz confirmed that he was talking about the allied nations supporting military action against Iran.
"The world needs to deal with Iran, the region needs to deal with Iran, and Israel also needs to do its part in this situation."
On Wednesday, Gantz, along with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, identified who they believe to be the leader behind last week's deadly drone attack, which killed two seamen on an Israeli oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
"Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC's Air Force, is behind dozens of terror attacks in the region employing UAVs and missiles."
The defense minister also claimed Iran was just 10 weeks away from having enough fissile material to produce a nuclear bomb, also known as 'breakout time'.

Tel Aviv is seeking to convene the UN Security Council over the Iranian-linked attack which killed a Briton and Romanian. Britain and the US have also stated that they believe Iran was behind the attack.

Iran has denied any responsibility and vowed to deliver a "strong" response to any measures taken against them after the UK said it would not let the death of British sailor going unpunished.
New guys, new lies, familiar contempt.

In rebuke to Zelensky, Russia's defense minister claims that Crimea 'always has been' and 'always will be' Russian land

Crimea has been and will always be part of Russia, the country's defense minister said on Friday, responding to a claim by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the peninsula's return to Kiev's control is a "matter of time."

Speaking to journalists in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Shoigu strongly disagreed with Zelensky's assessment that Crimea belongs to Ukraine. As well as being the minister of defense, Shoigu has also been selected by the ruling United Russia party to lead the faction into the upcoming parliamentary elections.

"The leaders of Ukraine come and go, but Crimea has always been, is, and will be Russian," Shoigu summarized.

On Tuesday, in an interview with TV channel Dom, Zelensky argued that citizens of Ukraine have fond recollections associated with Crimea and the Black Sea, claiming that his fellow countrymen love the peninsula more than Russians do.
"I lived there. It is my land. It is not their land and will not be. They will not raise their future generations here. Their children won't live here. They won't die for our land. It will never be Russian territory."

Beijing has vowed to retaliate after the US State Department gave the green light to a $750 million arms sale to Taiwan - President Joe Biden's first to the island - arguing the deal damaged bilateral ties and Chinese sovereignty.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned the proposed sale on Thursday, insisting that Taiwan is an "inalienable" part of the country's territory, while condemning Washington for emboldening Taiwanese separatist factions and threatening "peace and stability" in the region.

"China will resolutely take legitimate and necessary counter-measures in light of the development of the situation," the ministry said in a statement, adding that the weapons sale "runs counter to international law and basic principles in international relations."

Biden's State Department authorized the sale on Wednesday, allowing Taiwan to purchase some $750 million in self-propelled artillery units, precision-guided munition kits, .50 caliber machine guns and vehicles. The US Congress has 30 days to challenge the move starting Wednesday, though lawmakers are not expected to block the transfer.

Rand Paul flames op-ed's 'obscene' rules for the unvaccinated, swings at Fauci

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY)
Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul made it clear Thursday that he was not impressed with recent suggestions for regulating unvaccinated Americans.

Paul made an appearance on Fox & Friends and took issue with White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci's advice in general as well as a recent Juliette Kayyem op-ed in The Atlantic titled "Unvaccinated People Need to Bear the Burden."

Paul responded to Kayyem's op-ed first, which advocated for only vaccinated people to be allowed on domestic flights:
"Obscene. You know that if we now disagree in our personal medical decisions with the left, they're going to declare that we're a terrorist and that we can't fly."

Comment: Feud for thought? Senator Paul fires back at Fauci's inane, conflicting and medically unsupported protocols and advice.

Greenwald: Obama collecting money for presidential library 'ethos of neoliberalism'

Former US president Barack Obama
Former President Barack Obama is asking for donations to build his presidential library while planning a massive birthday soiree at his Martha's Vineyard estate.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald weighed in Wednesday on Tucker Carlson Tonight, arguing that the former president aims to get rich at everyone else's expense.

"It is the ethos of neoliberalism," he said. "Leaders get rich at the expense of everybody else."

According to Greenwald, presidential libraries as a concept did not exist for the150 years since U.S. presidents are expected to be respected simply as civil servants. "You don't need like a shrine to your existence," Greenwald said.

Comment: This is the equivalent of Obama giving the American people a three-fingered fist.

Hezbollah, Israel trade fire in dangerous Mideast escalation

The militant Hezbollah group fired a barrage of rockets toward Israel on Friday, and Israel hit back with artillery in a significant escalation between the two sides.

It was the third day of attacks along the volatile border with Lebanon, a major Middle East flashpoint where tensions between Israel and Iran, which backs Hezbollah, occasionally play out. But comments by Israeli officials and Hezbollah's actions suggested the two were seeking to avoid a major conflict at this time.

Israel said it fired back after 19 rockets were launched from Lebanon, and Prime Minister Naftali Bennett swiftly convened a meeting with the country's top defense officials. No casualties were reported. "We do not wish to escalate to a full war, yet of course we are very prepared for that," said Lt. Col. Amnon Shefler, spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces.

Sirens blared across the Golan Heights and Upper Galilee near the Lebanon border Friday morning. Hezbollah said in a statement that it hit "open fields" in the disputed Shebaa farms area.

The group said it fired 10 rockets, calling it retaliation for Israeli airstrikes the day before. Israel said those strikes were in response to rocket fire from southern Lebanon in recent days that was not claimed by any group.

Shebaa Farms is an enclave where the borders of Israel, Lebanon and Syria meet. Israel says it is part of the Golan Heights, which it captured from Syria in 1967. Lebanon and Syria say Shebaa Farms belong to Lebanon, while the United Nations says the area is part of Syria.

'Shameless political manipulation': China rebukes Biden's offer of a 'safe haven' in US for Hong Kongers

The US is trying to play the "Hong Kong card" to undermine Beijing and doesn't really care about the people, China's foreign ministry has said, in response to US President Joe Biden's offer of a 'safe haven' for Hong Kongers.

On Thursday, Biden told the Department of Homeland Security to implement a "deferral of removal" for up to 18 months for thousands of Hong Kong residents currently staying in the US.

In a memo, the president accused China of assaulting Hong Kong's autonomy, of "undermining its remaining democratic processes and institutions", and of restricting academic freedom, and freedom of the press. "The US will not waver in our support of the people in Hong Kong," he pledged.

Biden's offer of a 'safe haven' exposes Washington's "sinister intention" to play the "Hong Kong card" to contain the city's development and to undermine China, the Hong Kong branch of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Friday. However, the people in China and Hong Kong, in particular, see through this "shameless political manipulation" by the Americans and that's why "it is doomed to fail," it said.

EU drug watchdog recommends flagging new possible adverse reactions to J&J Covid jab on product label

The EU's drugs watchdog has recommended that the possible side effects of tinnitus, dizziness, and low blood platelets be added to the product information of Johnson & Johnson's Covid vaccine, after studying data on the jab.

In an update on Covid vaccine safety issues published on Friday, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) advised that tinnitus, more commonly known as ringing in the ears, as well as dizziness, should be included among the list of possible side effects of the single-shot vaccine, after finding the conditions were linked to the jab.

Comment: The vaccine cabal seems hell-bent to demonize any option other than the gene-editing mRNA potions being pushed by Pfizer and Moderna. Attenuated-whole virus vaccines have been around for decades, and while problematic in their own right, they don't permanently alter the human genome. Furthermore, the mRNA vax had NO significant safety testing before being rushed to market. Notice that the most effective jab has been produced by Russia, yet it has had the most trouble being approved by western countries. What is really going on?
