Rep. Mark Meadows: Strzok-Page texts reveal 'coordinated' FBI leak strategy to harm Trump

Lisa Page and Peter Strzok
New documents provided to Congress raise "grave concerns" about an "apparent systemic culture of media leaking" among high-level FBI and Justice Department officials to release information damaging to President Trump, a top Republican congressman charged in a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Monday.

In the letter, Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., points in particular to two text message exchanges in April 2017 between now-fired FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page, in which the two discuss the bureau's "media leak strategy."

"I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go," Strzok texted Page on April 10, 2017, according to Meadows, who cited newly produced documents from the Justice Department.

Two days later, Strzok wrote, "Well done, Page," and told her that two negative articles about Page's "namesake" would soon come out. That was an apparent reference to Carter Page, the former Trump adviser whom the FBI surveilled for months after obtaining a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court.

Six reasons Republicans might keep control of Congress during midterms

trump
Talk of a Blue Wave during the 2018 congressional midterms is reminiscent of the media's coverage of a Clinton landslide during the 2016 presidential elections.

Media and Democrats have overlooked several key factors, from Trump's approval rating within the GOP to over 4-percent GDP growth for the latest quarter.

Misreports are paving the way for yet another stunning defeat, with liberal pundits forced to explain again why they were wrong with allegedly data-driven predictions. Below are six reasons Democrats will not be able to wrestle control of the House and Senate away from Republicans in November:

People leave a migrant camp as they are evicted by French authorities near the French port city of Dunkirk
French Twitter users have ripped Macron apart after a video featuring his conversation with 'illegal' migrants, who have lived in France without documents for 8 years, went viral. Many thought the whole conversation was a farce.

The exchange between the head of state and a group of Algerians in Marseille, a popular destination for migrants from North Africa, was captured on video and posted on Twitter.

"Mr. Macron, we are undocumented! We like you so much here!" one man said to Macron who replies that they should "regularize" their status. Then the president wonders how long they were living in the country without documents. The answer seemed to be quite a shock. The group of Algerians said that they arrived in France eight years ago for holidays.

NY Democratic Committee blasted for smearing gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon with anti-Semitism mailer

New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon
Ahead of New York's Democratic primary, someone within the party has paid for a mailer accusing progressive gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon of anti-Semitism.

Approved and paid for by the New York State Democratic Committee, the mailer accuses Nixon of remaining "silent on the rise of anti-Semitism," and supporting BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions), a worldwide movement to boycott Israeli goods. Nixon, it argues, "won't stand strong for our Jewish communities."

The mailer was delivered to 7,000 New York households, and cost around $11,300, according to journalist Zach Fink. It was sent out on Saturday, one day before the start of Rosh Hashanah, or Jewish New Year.

Comment: The question is why would the New York State Democratic Committee send such a mailer when their favored candidate already has a massive lead over Nixon? It appears a fervor for power is frying the brains of the Democratic leadership, which in turn is influencing polarization among the US population. In any case, this is turning out to be quite the show!

Some 300,000 troops and tens of thousands vehicles, aircraft and warships are participating in the largest military exercise Russia has staged in 37 years. Units from China are to take part in the maneuvers as well.

The Vostok 2018 exercise is meant to test the capability of the Russian military to rapidly move and deploy large forces over long distances as well as coordinating between several branches during a large-scale engagement.

EU bureaucrats are not interested in values and principles, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini told RT. He also said nations like France take a hypocritical stance when they bash Italy's migration policy.

Italy will not vote for the EU's next seven-year budget if there is not an agreement on other crucial issues, like migration, Salvini, who also serves as Italy's interior minister, told RT's Sophie Shevardnadze in an exclusive interview at the sidelines of the European House - Ambrosetti Forum in Italy.

"Unfortunately in Brussels and in Europe they only understand the language of money. Therefore they are not talking about principles, values, solidarity - but economic issues."

Why 9/11 Truth is More Relevant Than Ever

On 9/11 the imperialists considered themselves powerful enough that they could get away with the biggest false flag event in history, now 17 years later this reality is openly being challenged by Russia.

Another Imperial war, another false flag. Idlib, the last terrorist stronghold in Syria is about to get crushed. In response, the Empire desperately tries to halt the defeat of their proxies with yet another planned fake chemical attack, as a pretext to bomb Syrian Arab forces. Only this time, Russia, Syria, Iran and other nations who stand at the forefront against the real war on terror try to expose the US, warning them not to go forward with their scheme.

Both Koreas are interested in Russia's participation in a railway project that could become a crucial link connecting the Korean Peninsula, a North Korean official said on the sidelines of Russia's Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

"We will further develop this project on the basis of negotiations between Russia, North Korea and South Korea, so that the owners of this project would be the countries of the Korean peninsula," North Korea's Kim Chang-sik, who is in charge of railway projects in the country, told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the three countries need to "create a joint group for the development of these railways."

The ulterior reasons behind the Anglo-American war on Russia

Aaron Wess Mitchell

US Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Aaron Wess Mitchell
Perhaps they had a chance back during the Obama days when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton proposed her amusing "Reset" in USA-Russia relations to the new Medvedew Presidency following Putin's rotation to the seat of Prime Minister in March 2009. Had Washington been a bit more perceptive and offered serious alternatives, it is conceivable that Washington would today have a geopolitical isolation of their second major problem on the Eurasian Continent, namely, the Peoples' Republic of China. Recently the US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Wess Mitchell, testified to the Senate where he candidly revealed the true reasons for current Washington and London campaigns and sanctions against Russia. It has nothing to do with faked allegations of US election interference; it has nothing to do with poorly-staged false flag poisoning of the Russian Skripals. It's far more fundamental and takes us back to the era before the First World War more than a century ago.

In testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on 21 August, Wess Mitchell, the successor to Victoria Nuland, gave an extraordinarily honest statement of real US geopolitical strategy towards Russia. It revealed a bit more honesty apparently than the US State Department wanted, because they quickly sanitized their published version on the department website.

Comment: Germany seems to be awakening from its Atlanticist-induced coma, and has begun looking after its own interests.
