The forces deployed by the Kabul government have been struggling to contain the Taliban offensive
India evacuated about 50 diplomats and other staff members from its consulate in the Afghan city of Kandahar on Sunday, as Taliban forces continue to gain control.
The staff members traveled back to Delhi on Saturday night, in an Indian Air Force flight.
Joe Biden's Justice Department wants the Lego Man kept behind bars — indefinitely.
Federal agents seized a plastic replica of the Capitol building from the Pennsylvania home of Robert Morss during his arrest on June 11. Justice Department officials are citing the Lego model as evidence in the criminal case against Morss for his involvement in the January 6 protest: "During his arrest, law enforcement recovered some clothing and other items that appear to match those he carried with him on the 6th — including a 'Don't Tread on Me' flag, a neck gaiter, a military utility bag, a black tourniquet, and military fatigues. (Law enforcement also recoverd [sic] a fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set.)"
So wrote government prosecutors in a July 2 filing asking the D.C. District Court to deny Morss' release while he awaits trial on nine counts, including assaulting police officers and disorderly conduct.
Comment: The Us government has descended to the level of a third-world dictatorship. No wonder sensible countries like Russia don't take it seriously in private.

The World Economic Forum announced June 29 it will initiate a new "public-private partnership" with Big Tech and governments around the world to identify and uproot all opinions from the Internet that it considers "harmful."
The WEF is one of those elitist organizations that wields enormous influence over the elected leaders of Western nations but which almost nobody in the general population has heard of.
Its members are internationalist corporate honchos and technocrats who meet once a year in Davos with the stated goal of working to "shape global, regional and industry agendas."
It made a big splash last year with its highly touted "Great Reset," which promises to use the pandemic as an "opportunity" to crash the world's dollar-based, capitalist economic system and "build back better" under a more socialist and globally integrated system that mirrors the United Nations Agenda 2030 goals for Sustainable Development.

Colombia's National Police Director General Jorge Luis Vargas flanked by Commander of the Colombian Military Forces, General Luis Fernando Navarro, speaks during a news conference about the participation of several Colombians in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise, in Bogota, Colombia July 9, 2021.
At least 17 ex-members of Colombia's military are among the suspects in this week's assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise, who was shot early on Wednesday at his home by what officials said was a group of foreign mercenaries.
The assassination has pitched Haiti deeper into political turmoil amid widespread gang violence. The motive for the killing - and its intellectual authors - remain unknown.
But for those want to hire mercenaries, Colombia is a popular choice. The South American country's nearly 60 years of internal conflict have provided a prolific training ground for soldiers.
For those trained as part of elite counter-terrorism units, retirement can come as early as their 40s, leaving many with only modest pensions and little idea what to do next.
"The recruitment of Colombian soldiers to go to other parts of the world as mercenaries is an issue that has existed for a long time, because there is no law that prohibits it," armed forces commander General Luis Fernando Navarro told journalists.
"There are a significant number of Colombian soldiers in Dubai, for example."
This news obviously shocked the Democrat state leaders in Pennsylvania.
Late Friday the Pennsylvania Department of State issued a directive prohibiting county election boards from cooperating with the Senate's election audit.
Comment: Gateway Pundit continues:
These are the same hard-left politicians who changed the voting rules in Pennsylvania during the pandemic by executive order.
Texas and over 20 states sued Pennsylvania for violating the US Constitution because they made changes to voting rules and procedures through the courts or through executive actions. But these states did not make the changes through the state legislatures as spelled out in the US Constitution. The US Supreme Court threw the case out and allowed this lawlessness of the states.
Pennsylvania has some funny stuff going on. They're panicked.

In July 2019, an arresting image of two young Syrian girls entombed in rubble in opposition-occupied Idlib attempting to haul their sister to safety as she dangled off the precipice of a bombed out building, their panic-stricken father looking on from above, went viral the world over.
The photo, disseminated by Syrian news service SY24, subsequently featured in countless Western media outlets, and was even discussed during a United Nations Security Council session. What very few knew however, was SY24 was created and funded by The Global Strategy Network, founded by Richard Barrett, a former MI6 Director of Global Counter Terrorism Operations. The photo had been taken by one of the firm's trained "stringers" across Syria, who were charged with creating "wildly impactful" and "engaging" content for "defined target audiences" both inside and outside the country.
New evidence indicates that more than 10,300 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — a number that will continue to rise over the next several months, potentially exceeding the 12,670 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
While this evidence does not change the fact that Joe Biden is our president, all Americans who genuinely care about free and fair elections and the disenfranchisement of voters should demand both transparency and solutions to prevent a repeat in future elections. This evidence also vindicates former President Trump and his legal team for the related public (and private) comments and legal arguments made in challenging the Georgia election results.
Under the cover of COVID-19, Georgia, like many other states, flooded residents with absentee ballot applications. Also like sister states, Georgia ignored various legislative mandates designed to prevent fraud and to ensure the integrity of the vote. These facts, coupled with the closeness of the presidential contest in Georgia and other states, led to a flurry of accusations and litigation charging vote fraud, illegal voting, and violations of the Elector's Clause of the constitution.
But to focus on this would be to miss a much wider point. Haiti has a long history of suffering under imperial domination. And this latest development may well serve as the next pretext for Western intervention. Already, one of the US's major corporate-owned media outlets has argued in favour of "international intervention". And that's an early indication that the impoverished nation may well be in store for the next round of foreign interference and all of its attendant pathologies.
Comment: Dutiful media chimes in right on cue - like rinse and repeat - which is easy given the US has a one track, one outcome protocol.
Meanwhile, US troops have been requested to support and protect infrastructure as political turmoil increases:
Haitian government officials said they've asked the United States to deploy troops in an auxiliary effort to help shield Haiti's infrastructure from attack. They requested U.S. forces to help protect Haiti's port, airport, gasoline reserves, and other facilities. There are concerns that the leader's murder could exacerbate the already fraught situation in the country, which is afflicted by civil unrest, economic instability, gang violence, and a COVID public health crisis, among other woes.See also:
Haitian minister of elections, Mathias Pierre, said he fears that "urban terrorists" that have been creating chaos lately might exploit the power vacuum to attack infrastructure centers."The group that financed the mercenaries want to create chaos in the country," he said. "Attacking the gas reserves and airport might be part of the plan."The U.S. will also send $5 million to bolster the Haitian National Police's resources.
The interim prime minister, Claude Joseph, has declared a 15-day "state of siege," which in effect imposes martial law, in an effort to bring order to the deteriorating, near-anarchical environment in Haiti.

State of Georgia
(L) Garland Favorito • Bridget Thorne • (R) Susan Voyles • Brad Raffensperger
The November 2020 election was certified by December 11th and Raffensperger told the Wall Street Journal on December 12th, 2020 that:
"November's election was the most secure in history. In Georgia, there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud and no significant issues with absentee ballots."Of course, none of that is true. Reports of many counterfeit mail-in ballots, thousands of missing test ballots, several Dominion voting system malfunctions, numerous missing chain of custody forms, major hand count audit errors and even foreign interference into Georgia county election servers have dominated the news.
While Raffensperger continues to insist there is no evidence of election fraud he also continues to investigate potential election fraud AFTER the election was certified. SOS Investigator Paul Braun has contacted virtually all the key affiants in the Fulton County ballot inspection case and attempted to interview them. However, they contend that he did not seem interested in finding potential fraud but was more interested investigating them. Some examples follow.
Comment: The potential victims of Raffensperger/Braun scheme were savvy enough to avoid the traps.

Carlson initially accused the National Security Agency (NSA) on June 28 of monitoring his emails in an effort to find damaging material that would force Fox to take his top-rated show, "Tucker Carlson Tonight," off the air. That claim prompted a rare public denial from the agency, which stated that Carlson "has never been an intelligence target".
Off the top of Wednesday's show, Carlson said he had learned the previous day that "sources in the so-called intelligence community told at least one reporter in Washington what was in those emails, my emails."
Comment: A month ago, an NBC reporter successfully interviewed the Russian president without US intelligence interference.
So why can't Tucker Carlson interview him?
The control freaks are such control freaks, they want to ensure that 'only the right people' conduct any and all business related to Russia (or US foreign policy generally).
That's why Trump's draw-down of US troops from Afghanistan was 'bad', but Biden's 'good'. That's why Biden's 'infrastructure plan' is 'good', but Trump's 'bad'. That's why [insert identical policy position here] is 'approved' depending on who is saying or enacting it.
NBC's Keir Simmons can interview Putin because Simmons 'is our guy'. Carlson cannot because 'he is a loose canon' who might 'stray from the party line' and indulge in 'too much frank and honest conversation' with the Russian president.
Americans cannot be allowed to see how much more they have in common with Putin than they do with 'US intel community members'...

Comment: If the intent was to cause chaos, then the US & its allies have succeeded, if it was to bring peace to the region - and ostensibly that's what they were doing - then they have failed, wasting 20 years, costing taxpayers billions, shedding untold amounts of blood and traumatizing a generation of soldiers and Afghans in the process: The US' haphazard withdrawal from Bagram Air Base shows it never had any clear plan in Afghanistan
