On Friday Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a statement ahead of the imminent Syrian government and Russian campaign to liberate Idlib from jihadist control.

Pompeo said via Twitter:
"The 3 million Syrians, who have already been forced out of their homes and are now in Idlib, will suffer from this aggression. Not good. The world is watching."

Media keeps quiet on special acts of kindness Trump took for McCain family

Trump John McCain

Some took the opportunity to take shots at President Donald Trump while at the funeral for Sen. John McCain. Those taking shots included the Senator's daughter, Meghan McCain and Barack Obama. But while they were bashing Trump and he was not invited to the funeral, no one was mentioning an important act of kindness Trump made to the McCain family.

John McCain died in Arizona and was lying in state at the Arizona Capitol. But they needed to get his body to Washington, D.C. for the memorial service and burial there.

At the behest of Trump, McCain's body was flown on Air Force 2, according to TMZ, the plane generally used by the Vice President or the First Lady. AZ Central confirmed that McCain's body flew out on Air Force 2.

Comment: Despite the McCain's family's vitriol against him, Trump still had the decency to honor their request. Doubt that's something McCain would do had the situation been reversed. Interesting how everything the media accuses Trump of, McCain exemplified through his actions over the years.

Facebook engineer admits: "We tear down posters welcoming Trump supporters"

Facebook
On Tuesday morning, President Trump lashed out at Google, with his remarks later broadening to include Twitter and Facebook, accusing it of "rigging" search results by presenting only results "from National Left-Wing Media" and accused "Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good."

Those companies "better be careful because you can't do that to people," Trump said later in the Oval Office. "I think that Google, and Twitter and Facebook, they are really treading on very, very troubled territory and they have to be careful. It is not fair to large portions of the population."

Google immediately responded, condemning Trump's charge, and claiming that "Search is not used to set a political agenda and we don't bias our results toward any political ideology."

And yet, as so often happens, in Trump's crude delivery, the politically incorrect truth was once again found.

According to a memo posted on Facebook's internal message board titled "We Have a Problem With Political Diversity", and which was published by the New York Times, senior Facebook engineer Brian Amerige confirmed Trump's allegation writing that "we are a political monoculture that's intolerant of different views" and shockingly admitted that "we claim to welcome all perspectives, but are quick to attack - often in mobs - anyone who presents a view that appears to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology. We throw labels that end in *obe and *ist at each other, attacking each other's character rather than their ideas."

Enough already! 'Russian oligarch and Putin pal admits to collusion, secret meetings'

Putin with Oleg Deripaska
Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska, a close associate of Vladimir Putin...

Comment: This article is already wrong. Deripaska is the twit getting his marching orders from Vlad in this famous incident:

...has gone on record with The Hill's John Solomon - admitting to colluding with Americans leading up to the 2016 US election, except it might not be what you're thinking.

Deripaska, rumored to be Donald Trump's "back channel" to Putin via the Russian's former association with Paul Manafort, says he "colluded" with the US Government between 2009 and 2016.

In 2009, when Robert Mueller was running the FBI, the agency asked Deripaska to spend $25 million of his own money to bankroll an FBI-supervised operation to rescue a retired FBI agent - Robert Levinson, who was kidnapped in 2007 while working on a 2007 CIA contract in Iran. This in and of itself is more than a bit strange.

The recent request by some US lawmakers to sanction Chinese officials over their alleged abuse of the Muslim minority in Xinjiang can be seen by extremists as a call to action, China's state-run tabloid said.

The Global Times, an influential Chinese tabloid, published by the Communist Party's Peoples' Daily newspaper, warned Washington against applying its "west-centered" value system to the situation in Xinjiang, an autonomous territory in northwestern China and a home to Uyghurs, China's largest Muslim minority group.

Multinational corporation Chiquita Brands, the heir to the infamous United Fruit Company, has been formally accused by Colombia's Office of the Attorney General of financing the paramilitary group known as the United Self-Defenders of Colombia, or AUC, through local subsidiaries Banadex and Banacol.

On Friday the Attorney General, Nestor Humberto Martinez, announced charges against 13 Chiquita Brands executives and administrators, including five foreigners. They have been charged with the crime of "aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime" after evidence was found showing money was sent by the multinational company to the AUC in the departments of Antioquia and Magdalena.

There is no statute of limitations on the charges since they are considered crimes against humanity.

NewsReal: Donbass Leader Assassinated as Russia Exposes Chemical Plot in Syria

newsreal zakharchenko assassination
The shocking assassination Friday of Aleksandr Zakharchenko, leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, may end the Minsk Agreements and reignite the Donbass insurgency against Kiev rule.

The elimination of a high-profile Russian ally in Ukraine was almost certainly done with one eye on the developing 'mother-of-all-stand-offs' between Russian-Syrian forces and terrorist-F.UK.US forces in and around Syria.

With the Russian government alerting the world to another imminent staged 'chemical attack' in Syria, just as Damascus is poised to retake Idlib province - temporary home to tens of thousands of terrorist-mercenaries gathered there for a 'last stand' - Zakharchenko's murder appears to be 'revenge' against Russia for - again - thwarting Western goals in the Levant.

Finally in this episode, Joe & Niall discuss the arrest of two Irish journalists involved in producing a documentary directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney (No Stone Unturned, 2017), which laid bare the British state's role in manufacturing terrorism in Northern Ireland.

Grenades produced by Swiss arms maker RUAG have previously been seen in photos of al-Qaeda* and Free Syrian Army fighters. The company said that the grenades could come from those that were supplied to the United Arab Emirates in 2003-2004.

Members of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham have released a photo of their trophies from a raid on a Daesh* cell in Idlib. Among the weapons found in the arms cache were several alleged OHG92 and HG85 grenades produced by the Swiss arms manufacturer RUAG, SonntagsBlick reported. At the same time, the Swiss government has not given a greenlight for weapons supplies to Syria. Moreover, it would be unable to do so under existing legislation.

Obama readies fall campaign push, but some Dems say no thanks

Former President Obama is set to dive into the midterm elections next week with a speech in Illinois where he is expected to urge Democrats across the country to vote - addressing a problem that plagued the party in 2016.

Obama has kept a low political profile since leaving office, but sources familiar with his plans say he will soon hit the campaign trail to help Democrats in their quest to take back the House, protect vulnerable Senate incumbents and win state legislative races.

The former president will kick off his push by delivering a speech at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Friday. In the weeks ahead, Obama will also campaign in California, Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania, a person familiar with his schedule said.

Not all Democrats want Obama's help.

Interim leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Dmitri Trapéznikov
Authorities in the self-proclaimed People's Republic of Donetsk will continue to seek integration with Russia after the assassination of its president, the new leader of the region said on Saturday.

"Our foreign policy remains unchanged, it is integration with the Russian Federation," DPR interim leader Dmitry Trapeznikov said in a statement circulated by his press office.

Alexander Zakharchenko, leader of the independent region in what is internationally recognized as eastern Ukraine, was killed on Friday in an explosion in the center of Donetsk. Another 11 people were injured. The region's finance minister, Alexander Timofeev, was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Comment: Zakharchenko had survived numerous assassination attempts. It is a tragedy for his family and his people that one finally succeeded.
