Just about a week after halting a bombs' sale to Riyadh following a widespread indignation over Saudi Arabia's indiscriminate bombing in Yemen, the Spanish government said it would still go ahead with the deal.

"The decision is that these bombs will be delivered to honor a contract that comes from 2015, and was made by the previous government," the Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell told Onda Cero radio. He went on to say that the contract was reviewed three times by a commission that authorizes arms sales while several ministries worked on the issue.

"We found no reason not to carry it out," Borrell said. When asked about any guarantees that the use of the Spanish-produced bombs would not result in casualties among the Yemeni civilians, the minister said that the laser-guided bombs have "extraordinary precision" and, thus, do not "produce the same sort of bombing as less sophisticated weapons ... that create the sort of tragedy that we have all condemned."

Evil after all: Leaked Google video reveals company's extreme left-wing bias

Google Trump resistance video

In this leaked video from 2016, we can see Google leadership’s dismay over the results of the US election and hear their discussing their conspiracy to provide “in-kind” political efforts to one party to attempt to sway the outcome.
We've talked before about how Google is actively suppressing climate skeptics, including yours truly.

The business motto for Google used to be:"Don't be evil.", seen below as archived by the Wayback Machine on April 21, 2018:
"Don't be evil." Googlers generally apply those words to how we serve our users. But "Don't be evil" is much more than that. Yes, it's about providing our users unbiased access to information, focusing on their needs and giving them the best products and services that we can. But it's also about doing the right thing more generally - following the law, acting honorably, and treating co-workers with courtesy and respect.

The Google Code of Conduct is one of the ways we put "Don't be evil" into practice. It's built around the recognition that everything we do in connection with our work at Google will be, and should be, measured against the highest possible standards of ethical business conduct. We set the bar that high for practical as well as aspirational reasons: Our commitment to the highest standards helps us hire great people, build great products, and attract loyal users. Trust and mutual respect among employees and users are the foundation of our success, and they are something we need to earn every day.
Then, in a stunning turnaround, they removed the phrase from their website, giving themselves a license to follow the dark side.

By now you may have heard about the in-house "private" Google video (created right after the 2016 presidential election) leaked to Breitbart. It was never intended that the public see it. Fortunately, we have. After Trump won the election the video shows the Google management team doing group hugs, tears, and wailing about how Trump won and how Hillary was wronged.

Comment: More from Sputnik:
What's more important, however, is that the staff pledge to use the power in their hands to thwart the efforts of the new administration, which, according to Brin, "conflicts with many of [Google's] values.

"In the video, the company's CFO, Ruth Porat, pledges that Google will "use the great strength and resources and reach we have to continue to advance really important values."

Former FBI Lawyer Lisa Page and fired FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok exchanged anti-Trump text messages during their time at the bureau.
Ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page, whose Trump-bashing texts made it clear who she backed in the 2016 presidential election, refers in a newly revealed message to serving as an intern "under Clinton."

Page, who exchanged tens of thousands of texts with disgraced FBI official Peter Strzok, revealed the information in one message among a new batch exclusively obtained by Fox News.

"Get inspired and depressing reading that article about how Obama approached the mail room," Page wrote Strzok on Jan. 19, 2017 - the last day of the Obama administration. "Needless to say, it was very different when I interned there under Clinton."

Turkish army tanks are seen near the Turkish-Syrian border in Hatay province, Turkey January 23, 2018
On September 13, the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) deployed several battle tanks and armoured vehicles at their observation post near the town of Murak in northern Hama, according to reports by pro-militant sources.

It was first time when the TAF deployed its heavy military equipment in this area. Pro-government activists link this deployment with attempts of the Turkish leadership to prevent an expected military operation of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in the province of Idlib and nearby areas.

The TAF has 12 observation posts in the so-called Idlib de-escalation zone. Many of them are located in the areas directly controlled by internationally recognized terrorist groups or close to these areas.

Ukraine's inept and corrupt leadership face disaster by escalating in Lugansk and Donetsk

Donetsk, Ukraine, September 2, 2018
The tragic murder of Alexandr Zakharchenko solidified Ukraine's intent to retake the Donbass region by force. We know the attack on Donetsk Republic leadership was meant to throw the fledgling nation into an emotional and political turmoil and cause a crisis in succession for the Republic.

Ukraine gravely miscalculated the response Poroshenko received which was both deliberate and dignified by Donetsk Republic leadership and LNR's interim president Leonid Pasechnik.

The murder was possibly to set up the conditions for a September 14th assault.

Donetsk People's Republic Operations Command spokesman Daniil Bezsonov notes Ukraine is making a lot of noise but doesn't have the fuel or munitions on hand. To make an assault from Mariupol possible they need to resupply. Donetsk Intel says Ukraine is trying to remedy this for the 14th and Ukraine has over 12,000 troops ready.

It's common knowledge US and NATO trainers have been hard at work training Ukraine's new and improved army. The problem with the army is that even with new and improved weaponry, tactics, and equipment, it still remains essentially what it was in 2014-2015.

In reality, it fits right into the outlook of Ukraine's civil and military leadership to mount an attack without the supplies for the tanks to make it to the battle lines.

Comment: Kiev may be about to launch an offensive on Lugansk and Donetsk that will end in disaster for them. But it may not even be their idea. Their real masters at NATO may want them to cause trouble to Russia as Syria gets ready to liberate Idlib.

2018 Farm Bill: House proposal could wipe out communities' power to prohibit the use of glyphosate

pesticides
58 of those communities have adopted more comprehensive policies that prohibit the use of glyphosate

As lawmakers convene on Capitol Hill to finalize the latest federal Farm Bill, environmental advocates warn that a House proposal could put public health at risk by rolling back restrictions on pesticides in 155 communities nationwide.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) today released its analysis of data from the nonprofit group Beyond Pesticides, including an interactive map of local policies that it says could be scuttled if the House measure passes. Those regulations vary widely-some communities restrict neonicotinoid use to protect pollinators, while others map out pesticide-free buffer zones or require that public notice be posted when pesticides are applied on public or private property.

New AWACS will give Russia air superiority

russian awacs
The Russian Air Force will receive the new Beriev A-100 aircraft with the Air Alert and Control System, or Early Warning and Control System (AWACS) as early as 2020 or early 2021. AWACS would significantly boost the Russian Air Force's ability to obtain and maintain air superiority when coupled with fighters like the Sukhoi Su-30SM Flanker-H and Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker-E.

The Russian Defense Minister is expected to sign the production contract for the new AWACS, which would replace the existing Beriev A-50 fleet in the Russian Air Force. "We look forward to a detailed discussion with the Ministry of Defense on the delivery contract for the A-100 aircraft by the end of this year or in 2019," said U.S. Aviation Corporation President Yuri Slyusar.

While detailed negotiations between the Russian government and the company are expected by the end of this year, Russian defense industry sources are confident that the production of the aircraft will begin to be delivered in a few years to the Russian Air Force. "The supply of the series aircraft will begin in 2020 or 2021," according to a source in the defense industry.

The Beriev A-100 is scheduled to replace the Beriev A-50 used by the Russian Air Force. The aircraft was built based on the Il-76MD-90A freighter. However, compared to the predecessor, the aircraft's fuselage has been lengthened, in addition to receiving more economical engines (PS-90) and multifunction displays. The main function of the A-100 will be the detection, identification and tracking of airborne, land or sea targets. In addition to managing all types of fighters, bombers and drones.

Comment: Russia already has military superiority in many areas, even at sea, even if they don't command a fleet of aircraft carriers. Their anti-ship missiles are enough to destroy such navies in a war scenario. Russia may not have the ability to invade other countries - they don't have the wish for that either - but they can defend against anything their enemies throw at them, and instil some serious damage in the process. Chris Cuomo campaign team sends out mailer smearing Cynthia Nixon with false charges of anti-Semitism

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and challenger Cynthia Nixon
A campaign mailer accusing New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon of anti-Semitism was drafted and approved by people connected with incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo's campaign team.

Approved and paid for by the New York State Democratic Committee, the mailer accused Nixon of remaining "silent on the rise of anti-Semitism," and supporting BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions), a worldwide movement to boycott Israeli goods and cultural exports. Nixon, it argued, "won't stand strong for our Jewish communities."

Nixon has never officially supported BDS, but in 2010 signed a letter with a 150 other US actors, directors and artists voicing her support for Israeli actors who refused to perform in the Jewish state's controversial settlements in the West Bank.

Comment: The irony is that her lack of support for BDS is actually the black mark on her character... But the American establishment class is so beholden to AIPAC they are all forced to support the apartheid, Jewish-supremacist state and its genocidal policies.

Comment: Sadly, the choice between Cuomo and Nixon is that between dumb and dumber. But that's par for the course for New York politics. See, for example:

Earlier, the US-led coalition rejected allegations that a Syrian militant group has set up training camps near the Pentagon's military base in the town of al-Tanf in southeastern Syria.

Reuters has cited a commander of the Pentagon-backed Maghawir al-Thawra militant group as saying that the drills, which wrapped up near the US military base in the Syrian town of al-Tanf, were the first such exercises and involved hundreds of rebels and US marines.

"These exercises have great importance and have enhanced the defenses of the area and improved the combat capabilities and morale and that of civilians in the area," Colonel Muhanad al- Talaa said.
