Polish authorities clearly weren't taking any chances as Israeli citizen Uri Brodsky, implicated in the Dubai assassination, was escorted into court in Warsaw, Poland.
US investigators say American companies paid money to the suspects behind the Israeli-masterminded assassination of a senior Hamas official.

American cyberspace companies have been named among the firms that transferred money to the alleged hitmen behind the targeted killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh -- the co-founder of the Hamas resistance movement's armed wing, known as the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades - on January 20 The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday.

CCTV camera footage, caught in a Dubai hotel, where the operation took place, has led the emirate's police to put the names of more than two dozen suspects on the international wanted list.

The Dubai police have identified 13 US-issued debit-card accounts used by the suspects into which money was deposited.

A military official told Ynet he did not believe Hamas had fired the Grad rocket that exploded in Ashkelon Friday morning, though it remains unclear who was responsible.

"Hamas still wants to maintain the status quo in the Strip," he said. "It continues to grow stronger, but is deterred by the IDF and doesn't want to face a conflict."

I'll begin with a confession: I am a failed artist. Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to paint. The only thing that stopped me was lack of talent. The first time I did a self-portrait, checking with the mirror in my bedroom to see how I was getting on, my mother put an abrupt end to my artistic ambitions by exclaiming, "Gosh, what a cute little chimp!"

It was a rude awakening for a nine-year-old artist.

About a decade later, I asked myself was art was all about. One day I found this sentence in a biography of Burne-Jones, and I jotted it down in my diary and pondered it for a day or two, "I mean by a picture a beautiful romantic dream of something that never was, never will be - in a better light than any light that ever shone - in a land no one can define or remember, only desire - and from forms divinely beautiful."

In the 50s and 60s, British government scientists carried out secret trials to find out the likely effects of a biological attack. The results, some never published before, reveal how shockingly vulnerable the capital is to an anthrax attack.

It was lunchtime on London's Northern line. Deep underground, passengers were getting on and off the tube trains as normal. Two men boarded a train at Colliers Wood in south London. As the train gathered speed towards its next stop, Tooting Broadway, one of them got up from his seat and dropped a small carton of face powder out of the window. He could have been idly throwing away litter.

As the train sped on, the carton hit the tracks and burst. Out spewed millions of tiny spores, which began to spread throughout the dark tunnels. Dust swabs taken after three days and two weeks showed that the spores had spread as far up the line as Camden Town station in north London, 10 miles away.

This really happened. But the two men weren't terrorists but government scientists. And the spores weren't anthrax spores, but a harmless micro-organism designed to mimic clandestine sabotage with anthrax. This was an official experiment in 1963, and it showed how easily saboteurs could inflict a potentially devastating attack on Britain's capital.

David Kelly: The man who knew too much

Comment: Damning new evidence came to light last month that clearly implicates the Blair government in covering-up the murder of British scientist Dr. David Kelly. And this month it was announced that the UK's Attorney General would investigate a dossier submitted by a former KGB agent, now resident in the UK, detailing how the scientist was "exterminated in a planned assassination."

So can we expect the British government to overturn the 70 year timelock it placed on files related to Kelly's postmortem? Unlikely. When SOTT.net pulled on the threads related to his murder several years ago, it unravelled a series of connections that made plain why this man had to be silenced and why his murder had to be covered up.

With the new British government acknowledging that the case is far from closed, it seems timely to revisit the dark activities unearthed by Kelly's death.

A report on November 15, 1998 by the Sunday Times suggests that this Institute "is working on a biological weapon that would harm Arabs but not Jews".

Opening a new source of potential friction with China, the Obama administration said Friday that it would step into a tangled dispute between China and its smaller Asian neighbors over a string of strategically significant islands in the South China Sea.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, speaking at an Asian regional security meeting in Vietnam, stressed that the United States remained neutral on which regional countries had stronger territorial claims to the islands. But she said that the United States had an interest in preserving free shipping in the area and that it would be willing to facilitate multilateral talks on the issue.

Though presented as an offer to help ease tensions, the stance amounts to a sharp rebuke to China. Beijing has insisted for years that all the islands belong to China and that any disputes should be resolved by China. In March, senior Chinese officials pointedly warned their American counterparts that they would brook no interference in the South China Sea, which they called part of the "core interest" of sovereignty.

It was stated recently on Facebook that investigating 911 is a waste of time, that nothing was 'likely to be proven'. That's obvious! It is the purpose of a cover up to make of 'investigations' a 'waste of time'. On this point, whomever perpetrated 911 won when Bush made of the pursuit of justice a 'waste of time'.

The lesson learned is that if you are sufficiently rich and/or powerful, you can subvert justice, the rule of law, the truth! Our nation is lost if truth is abandoned because the pursuit of it is a 'waste of time'. In such a society, no one is free; everything is based upon a lie and, based upon a lie, is unjust. Such a society is a police state, at best a tyranny of an uninformed 'majority'! The 'establishment' is not appalled by widespread ignorance; it depends upon it and promotes it. Such a society is finished! The U.S. will fall ignominiously as did Rome of its folly, arrogance and incompetence.

Only the guilty are sufficiently motivated to cover up a crime. Just as obvious is the corollary: the innocent have nothing to cover up! If Bush covered up and/or obstructed in any way the investigation of the crime of 911, then he is guilty of acts of obstruction of justice intended to hide the truth in ways that would protect him or his 'friends' or both! 'Obstruction of justice' was one of several serious allegations against Richard Nixon, leading to articles of impeachment, eventually his ignominious resignation.

China overtook the US last year to become the world's biggest energy user, the International Energy Agency revealed on Monday.

Beijing's new status is expected to make it even more influential in global energy markets, in determining prices and how it is used.

China clinched the top slot more quickly than had been expected because the US has over the past decade far outpaced China in using energy more efficiently. On a per capita basis, the US still uses far more energy than China and remains less efficient than Europe.

Iran's Embassy in London has denied claims by media and human rights groups that the country's judiciary has sentenced a woman to death by stoning.

The embassy said in a statement that Iran's judicial officials have rejected reports that Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani will be stoned to death.

"According to information from relevant judicial authorities in Iran, she will not be executed by stoning punishment," the embassy said in the statement carried by The Guardian.

The statement also says such a punishment has not been included in the draft Islamic Penal Code being deliberated in the Iranian Parliament.

Comment: This story was first leaked by Radio Farda, the Iranian branch of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, a CIA propaganda mill, in conjuction with The Media Line, a Zionist propaganda mill. This Jerusalem Post article breached the story of the non-stoning to the mainstream media on June 30.
