A little sanity: EU Chief speaks in favor of better economic ties with Russia

Image

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is becoming the spokesman for bring Russia back into Europe's daily economic life. He said it in Germany in October. He said it again at the G-20 meeting in Turkey. And following the Paris terrorist attacks recently, his call to integrate Russia with Europe may no longer fall on deaf ears.

The momentum of favorable E.U.-Russia politics is a positive for Russia investment.

After the G20 summit last weekend, Juncker reportedly wrote a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin where he expressed his support for greater economic cooperation.

Comment: Is it possible that the EU leadership is finally seeing how utterly damaging the U.S.-manipulated sanctions policies against Russia are? Seems so. But don't expect Empire to give up vilifying Russia and upping the ante.

US policies on Ukraine conflict opens door to third world war, says analyst

US and Ukraine soldiers, another war ahead?
"I think that the United States going into Ukraine is going to just simply up the stakes."

The US government's policies regarding the conflict in eastern Ukraine might lead to a third world war, an American political analyst says. "I'm very distressed to hear this new assumed role of the American government, with the Pentagon spending almost $250 million dollars to further aggression, to train Ukraine forces to fight against the Russians," Tim King told Press TV on Tuesday. "The United States, obviously, is doing everything that is possible, of course, to create a war with Russia and a third world war," he added.

King, the founder of the Global News Center, was speaking about the Pentagon's new training program in Ukraine that was revealed Monday. Under the program, American troops "will be training five battalions of active-duty troops and one battalion of special operations forces personnel," Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis said

"This is part of our ongoing efforts to contribute to Ukraine's long-term military reform and professionalism and to help them improve Ukraine's internal defense capabilities and training capacity," he added. The training comes after purported increase in violence between the Ukrainian army and pro-Russia forces in the eastern part of Ukraine over the recent weeks.

Davis noted that as of 2014, Washington has spent $265 million in order to train and equip Ukrainian forces with armored Humvees, body armor, counter-mortar radar, night vision goggles and medical equipment.

King said that there is no need for American intervention in the troubled region, because "the people there support their relationship with Russia and do not seek to have this major and complete disconnect with the government run by [Russian President] Vladimir Putin." The analyst noted that the US has waged "illegal" wars only to lose "every single one of them."

Comment: With the latest developments in Turkey regarding the downed Russian jet, we may be seeing this scenario already unfolding, and not in a good way. According to King: The United States is doing everything possible "to create a war with Russia and a third world war." Once created, it can't be undone.

Russian security expert claims Su-24 most likely downed by ground-based missile

The Russian Su-24 was most likely shot down with a ground-based missile, according to National Defense magazine chief, security expert Igor Korotchenko.

The Russian plane was most likely shot down using a ground-based anti-air system, security expert and editor-in-chief of National Defence magazine Igor Korotchenko told Sputnik.

A Russian Su-24 was shot down over Syria on Tuesday, according to reports from the Russian Defense Ministry. The two pilots were able to eject from the plane, although their current fate is unknown.

"There is objective control data. First of all, during military operations, the route and targets are planned in such a way that the airspace of states adjacent to Syria is not violated," Korotchenko said, adding that it can be considered an established fact that Turkish airspace was not violated.

Comment: NATO is getting desperate as Russia cleans up their terrorist assets. How will Russia respond to this blatantly hostile act?

SOTT Exclusive: Western Media Deletes Possible Evidence of 'Clean up Team' after St. Denis Shoot-out

This story appeared two days ago on the UK Telegraph's live news reports on their website as part of the ongoing anti-terror operation in France and Belgium. As noted by the Telegraph's editors, the story was gleaned from televised news reports from French TV channels M6 and France 3.

Since then the information has disappeared from the Telegraph's updated web page where it first appeared.
"Up to ten occupants of cars with Belgian numberplates "cleaned up" the flat of the mother of Hasna Aitboulahcen, hours after she was killed in firefight with police in Saint-Denis, according to French reports.

The suspects drove to the flat in Aulnay-sous-Bois, northeast of the capital, in three cars with Belgian number plates on Wednesday night for what "several witnesses" are cited as calling a "clean up" operation, according to M6 and France 3 TV."
About one hour after this clean up operation, French police arrived but were obviously a little behind the game.

Image

Screen shot evidence that the "clean up operation" article did at one point appear on the Telegraph Newspaper
With the news that after the 7 hour shootout at the flat in St. Denis last Wednesday just one 9mm pistol was found in the apartment - despite the fact that police came under sustained automatic fire from "true professionals" according to the chief officer on the scene, Jean-Michel Fauvergue, head of the elite anti-terrorist force Raid - it is becoming increasingly clear that many more people than the claimed 9 terrorists were involved in the Paris attacks and its aftermath in St. Denis, and French authorities MUST, at this point, be aware of this fact.

A grateful Al-Qaeda effectively thanks US for supplying them with anti-tank missiles in new video

Image
On September 30, just hours after a three star Russian general strolled into the US embassy in Baghdad and told the staff to inform Washington that Moscow would begin airstrikes in Syria "in one hour", the Western media was alive with accusations that The Kremlin wasn't targeting ISIS, but rather other, US and Saudi-backed rebel groups fighting Assad's depleted SAA. Here's what WSJ said at the time:
"Among seven areas that Syrian state media listed as targets of Russian strikes, only one—an area east of the town of Salamiyah in Hama province—has a known presence of Islamic State fighters. The other areas listed are largely dominated by moderate rebel factions or Islamist groups, such as Ahrar al-Sham and the al Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front."
Yes, "moderate rebel factions such as the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front."

Put simply, the US had become so desperate to preserve whatever was left of the strategy to overthrow Assad, that Washington had the mainstream media floating trial balloons to see if the public would accept the characterization of al-Qaeda as "moderate."

Comment: If the US populace were any better informed and awake and sane - they would be shouting this information (and many stories like this one) out from their rooftops. But they're not. That the 'Empire of Chaos' has effectively managed to keep such malevolent duplicity a secret is a testament to just how programmed, distracted and lied to most people have become.

Paris Terror Suspects did not use encryption on their phones, bad news for surveillance plans of intelligence communities

In the wake of the Paris attack, intelligence officials and sympathizers upset by the Edward Snowden leaks and the spread of encrypted communications have tried to blame Snowden for the terrorists' ability to keep their plans secret from law enforcement.

Yet news emerging from Paris — as well as evidence from a Belgian ISIS raid in January — suggests that the ISIS terror networks involved were communicating in the clear, and that the data on their smartphones was not encrypted.

Comment: This obviously backfires on long-existing plans to get rid of encrypted communications and data, which are more and more used in commecial cell phones.

Intelligence community's top lawyer, Robert S. Litt, said to colleagues in an August 2015 e-mail, which was obtained by The Post: "[The current hostile legislative environment in regards to banning of encryption] could turn in the event of a terrorist attack or criminal event where strong encryption can be shown to have hindered law enforcement."

The fact that communication was in the clear also shows that broadly practiced surveillance seems to be either an absolute farce, or absolutely useless, in the most critical of cases.

Update: Turkish terrorist regime shoots down Russian jet over Syria

Syria map

A Russian Su-24 fighter has been shot down in Syria, the Russian Defense Ministry said, adding the plane hadn't violated Turkish airspace and was flying at an altitude of 6,000 meters.

"During the flight, the aircraft was flying within the borders of Syria, which was registered by objective monitoring data,"the ministry said, adding that the aircraft was "supposedly shot down from the ground."

The pilots managed to eject, the ministry said, adding their fate is as yet unknown.

Reports of a downed plane emerged earlier in Turkish media. A Habertürk TV reporter on the scene said the aircraft "turned into a fireball." Numerous witnesses wrote on social media, saying thick plumes of smoke have been rising from the jet crash site.

Turkish military added the plane had been warned at least 10 times over a period of five minutes before being shot down by two Turkish F-16 fighter jets. He said the plane had violated Turkish airspace.

Comment: A Turkish military official has claimed that Turkish F-16 fighter jets shot down "a war plane of unknown origin" after it "violated Turkish air space close to the Syrian border and ignored warnings." Unspoken is the fact that Turkey considers a zone stretching 20km deep inside Syria to be 'Turkish airspace'.

The Russian MOD has now confirmed that the plane was a Russian Su-24, saying that it was flying in Syrian airspace.

This is the first Russian loss in an otherwise flawless campaign. With the Russians bombing the hell out of Turkey's terrorists in Syria, and recently putting a massive dent in Istanbul's illegal oil supply 'ratline' from ISIS, the Turkish regime appears to have lashed out in the only way it knows how.

Update 13:00 CET

The following video has surfaced, allegedly showing a dead Russian pilot surrounded by moderate terrorists in northwestern Syria:

Ayatollah Khamenei warns Putin of US scheme to control West Asia

Putin and Khamenei
© Tasnim News Agency
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei cautioned against the US attempts to bring Syria under control as part of a long-term plot for establishing foothold in West Asia, describing it as a threat to all countries, especially Iran and Russia.

"Under a long-term plot, Americans seek to make up for their historical lack of dominance over West Asia by dominating Syria and then spreading their control over the region, and this scheme is a threat to all nations and countries, particularly Russian and Iran," Ayatollah Khamenei said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, held in Tehran on Monday.

Imam Khamenei noted that the US and its followers are trying the "negotiating table" and political ways in relation to Syria to achieve the objectives that they failed to reach militarily.

"Vigilance and active stances" are necessary to block the US plots, the Leader stressed.

Ayatollah Khamenei also slammed the faults in Washington's policies toward Syria, including an insistence on the overthrow of Syria's legitimate President Bashar al-Assad as well as direct and indirect supports for terrorist groups, like Daesh (ISIL).

The Leader further hailed the Russian president's "good and innovative" policies over the past one and a half years, saying, "Americans always try to push their rivals to a position of passiveness, but you (President Putin) thwarted this policy."
