Eyewitness to San Bernardino terror attack: 'Three tall white men did it'

"It looked like their skin color was white [...] they appeared to be tall", says eyewitness

A few interesting details have surfaced regarding Wednesday's mass shooting dubbed 'terror attack' which killed 14 and injured 17 others. One of the most interesting comes from an eyewitness.

We now know that ATF investigators recovered police issued firearms from the alleged shooters. This key detail was leaked by 2016 GOP Presidential Candidate Carly Fiorina during a press interview after she had overheard a newsroom report that doesn't fit the official narrative.

We also know that active shooter drills actually took place near the crime scene just days before and possibly even on the same day of the mass shooting as reported by Mac Slavo.

Additionally details from an eyewitness, who came forth on the day of the shooting, may have been overlooked by investigators and suggest that there were actually 'three white shooters' instead of the radicalized husband and wife natural-born killer team portrayed in some mainline reports.

Comment: Interesting since some witnesses to the Paris attacks of several weeks ago also witnessed muscular commando types, who were white, causing the carnage. A connection?
"At about 9.30pm a new looking black Mercedes pulled up outside with dark tinted windows at the back and the passenger and driver windows down. I could clearly see the passenger's face as he was not wearing a hat or mask.

"As soon as the car stopped he quietly opened the door and got out in front of the restaurant. That is when I saw he was holding a machine gun that was resting on his hip. I could not take in what I was witnessing. People outside spotted the shooter approaching with his gun and tried to run inside but he shot them down in the doorway.

"Then people inside moved forward to see what was happening and he sprayed more bullets into them. I was trying to catch them on my camera phone but the gunman saw the light on my mobile and I ducked down behind the wall as they fired at my hotel. The gunman calmly reloaded his weapon several times. He then shot up at the windows in the street to make sure nobody was filming anything or taking photographs. It lasted over six minutes.

"He fired lots of bullets. He was white, clean shaven and had dark hair neatly trimmed. He was dressed all in black accept for a red scarf. "The shooter was aged about 35 and had an extremely muscular build, which you could tell from the size of his arms. He looked like a weightlifter. He was not wearing gloves and his face was expressionless as he walked towards the bar.

"The driver had opened his door shortly before the shooting began and stood up with his arm and a machine gun rested on the roof of the car. He stood there with his foot up in the door acting as a lookout. I would describe him as tall, with dark hair and also quite muscular.

"They looked like soldiers or mercenaries and carried the whole thing out like a military operation. It was clear that they were both very heavily armed and the gunman was carrying several magazines on him. They both then coolly sat back in the car and sped off in the direction of the Bataclan Theatre."

EU scraps derivatives case against 13 banks citing 'insufficient evidence', but continues Markit, ISDA probe

EU antitrust regulators have dropped charges against 13 banks including Citigroup and Deutsche Bank for blocking exchanges from derivatives markets, but will continue their case against data company Markit and trade body ISDA.

The European Commission said on Friday it had closed the case against the 13 banks due to insufficient evidence.

"This closure does not prejudge the outcome of the Commission's investigation regarding Markit, and ISDA, which is ongoing," it said in a statement.

Comment: Regulators never seem to have sufficient evidence to bring any formal charges against major banks for what are obvious manipulations and abuses, or the banks avoid prosecution by paying a fine. Which merely kicks the can of responsibility down the road, and eventually we're going to run out of road.

Not welcome: Iraq will turn to UNSC if Turkey doesn't withdraw troops within 48 hours

Baghdad warned that it might turn to the UN Security Council if Ankara failed to withdraw its troops from Iraq within 48 hours.

Baghdad may use all the available options, including an address to the UN Security Council, if Turkey fails to withdraw its troops from northern Iraq within 48 hours, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi said Sunday.

Numerous reports suggest that on Friday Turkey sent approximately 130-150 soldiers to northern Iraq. Turkish forces, deployed near the city of Mosul, are allegedly tasked with training Peshmerga, which has been involved in the fight against Daesh, also known as ISIL.

Comment: The brazen lies and lack of respect for international law coming from Turkey are astounding. Iraq has made it clear multiple times that they're not invited, but they continue lying by saying that they are while violating Iraq's sovereignty.

More Hollywood propaganda: "Bridge of Spies" film filled with lies

More Hollywood propaganda
In this new Cold War hit, set in the 1950's, a home-town lawyer is chosen to defend a captured Soviet spy, as anti-communist hysteria sweeps the US. Later, the lawyer, Donovan is recruited by the CIA to negotiate the release of captured American spies, including U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers, captured by the Soviets after his spy plane was shot down in Soviet airspace, in exchange for the Russian Colonel Abel.

The tortured tagline of the film sums up the propaganda point to be driven home: "In the shadow of war, one man showed the world what we stand for." What we (the US) stand for is supposedly a just and humane society where even a communist spy is entitled to a fair trial, compared to the supposed tyranny and cruelty of communist regimes.

However, the version of events presented in this film and the case it attempts to make in favor of America's system of "fair play" can easily be disproved. Many important details have been distorted or conveniently left out, while facts are presented out of historical context. Unfortunately, most Americans will accept this movie as a true recounting of historical events without question or further study.

Comment: Hollywood has long been a vehicle for CIA propaganda:

Syria has right to hit NATO warplanes

Syria is ready to deploy the fearsome S-300 air-defense system supplied by its Russian ally. The anti-aircraft surface-to-air missiles will give Syria control over its territory and the capability to shoot down any intrusive warplane or missile. NATO warplanes beware!

The fatal shoot-down of a Russian fighter jet by a Turkish F-16 two weeks ago has given urgency to installing the air-defense system. It is as much in Russia's interest as it is in Syria's to have air cover - and the S-300, and its newer generation, the S-400, are reckoned to be the best technology in the world for that job.

"It's a top-of-the range weapon", says the British defense publication, IHS Jane's, probably surpassing the American Patriot missile system. The Russian-made S-300 can take out any modern fighter plane or missile, including Cruise missiles, at a range of up 150 kilometers and an altitude of 27 kilometers.

According to a senior officer at the Syria-Russia joint military operations room in Damascus, the mobile S-300 is ready for deployment at various locations across the country.

Comment: Let's dispense with the charade of proxy jihadis and have the actual warring parties go at it. See how long they last.

Playing with fire: Israeli air force strikes Syrian missile base in Damascus

Israeli airforce
A Syrian military source said the Israeli Air Force violated the Syrian airspace on Thursday and struck the 155th Brigade's Headquarters.

Al-Masdar quotes a military source from the Syrian Air Defense as saying that the Israeli Air Force did indeed violate Syrian airspace on Thursday to strike the 155th Brigade's Headquarters (also known as the "Missile Base") for the second time this year and the third time in two years.

Comment: In light of the recent destruction of the Russian bomber by Turkey's NATO-backed forces, and in spite of the fact that Russia intends to help Syria rid the scourge of its enemy's proxy forces, one may be inclined to ask: is Israel's leadership absolutely nuts?! Well we know the answer to that one. This one act proves that Israel seems absolutely determined to continue its aim of destabilizing Syria and profiting thereby - much like Turkey, the U.S. and other allied psychopathic governments.

Assad says British strikes in Syria illegal and play into terrorists' hands

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad

London's air operation against Islamic State in Syria is illegal and therefore will not be successful, like the bombing of the US-led coalition in the country over the last year, Syrian President Bashar Assad said in an interview with The Sunday Times newspaper.

The support of the British parliament for the air operation in Syria advocated by Prime Minister David Cameron cannot change the fact that the presence of the Royal Air Force in Syrian airspace is unlawful since neither Damascus, nor the United Nations have given London the green light to bomb Syrian territory, Assad said.

"It will be harmful and illegal and it will support terrorism, as happened after the coalition started its operation a year or so [ago] because this is like a cancer," Assad said, accusing British PM David Cameron of a farcical description of the so-called "moderate Syrian opposition" that is supposed to push Islamic State (former ISIS/ISIL) out from the territories it occupies in Syria.

"This is a new episode in a long series of David Cameron's classical farce... Where are they? Where are the 70,000 moderates he is talking about?"

Comment: Wonder what Assad thinks of the Germans' entry into the Syrian conflict?

US pilot concerned over exposure of top secret F-22 to Russian recon in Syria

Russia could use its brand new Pantsir-S1 (SA-22 Greyhound) and S-400 Triumf (SA-21 Growler) anti-aircraft systems deployed to Syria to uncover secrets of the most advanced weapons in the US arsenal, including the F-22 fifth generation fighter, Major Jahara 'Franky' Matisek of the US Air Force believes.

The US pilot thinks that Russian leaders are not expecting Daesh, also known as ISIL, or NATO to mount an air attack on the Russian forces.

Istanbul: US consulate in 'imminent threat'

US Consulate, Istanbul
American officials warn of an imminent security threat to the US consulate in the western Turkish city of Istanbul. US officials on Saturday urged people to avoid the area around the embassy.

"Due to information about an imminent security threat against the US Consulate compound, the US Consulate General Istanbul advises all US citizens to avoid the US Consulate today," Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) wrote on its website.

The OSAC also called on US citizens in Turkey "to maintain a high level of vigilance, be aware of local events, and take the appropriate steps to bolster your personal security."

The Overseas Security Advisory Council is tasked with promoting security cooperation between American private sector interests worldwide and the US State Department.

Earlier this week, several people were injured in a blast during rush hour near an Istanbul subway station. Turkey has been on high alert after more than 100 people were killed by two bombers in the capital, Ankara, in October.

Comment: The subway blast, earlier this week, was a pipe bomb left on the overpass at the Bayrampasa metro station. Windows were cracked on the train and five were injured. Also there were two blasts, thought to be suicide bombers, at a peace rally in Ankara in October, killing 100 and injuring almost 200. ISIS is blamed for the peace rally attack. And, there were others... There is a new norm.

Consider: Someone wants to upset the status quo, scare the populace, keep Turkey in line and more predictable.

Assad says UK, France airstrikes in Syria are futile

Assad interview
© islamtimes.org
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during interview with UK reporter.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad says airstrikes launched by the UK and France against purported positions of the Daesh Takfiri terrorists in the Arab country will be futile as the two states lack the will as well as the vision on how to defeat terrorism.

Putting Paris and London among the main supporters of terrorists in Syria, Assad said their participation in the so-called US-coalition that purports to target Daesh positions is illegal.
"It is legal only when the participation is in cooperation with the legitimate government in Syria. So, I would say they don't have the will and they don't have the vision on how to defeat terrorism," President Assad emphasized.
The US-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes inside Syria without any authorization from Damascus or a UN mandate since September 2014. The mission has fallen severely short of dislodging the terrorists. Takfiri terror groups like Daesh and the al-Nusra Front have expanded freely despite the US-led coalition air raids, Assad said.

The Syrian leader hailed the Russian aerial campaign against terror groups operating in his country as legal and constructive since it has been coordinated with Damascus.
"Look at the Russians, when they wanted to make this alliance against terrorism, the first thing they did was they started discussions with the Syrian government before anyone else. Then they started discussing the same issue with other governments. Then they came. So, this is the legal way to combat any terrorist around the world," said the Syrian president.
Moscow launched its air raids against the Takfiris, including Daesh terrorists, in Syria on September 30, upon a request from the Syrian government.

In response to a question about the issue of moderate militant groups in Syria, President Assad said since the beginning of the conflict in Syria in March 2011, there has been no such thing as moderate militants in the Arab country.

Stressing that Daesh terrorists cannot be defeated by airstrikes alone and without cooperation with forces on the ground,he declared Syria's readiness to "welcome any country or government, [and] any political effort" to fight terrorism alongside Damascus if they are "serious and genuine."

"Ultimately, we want to resolve the situation in Syria and prevent further bloodshed. That is our mission. So, it's not about love or hate, accepting or not, it is about reality. Are they truly ready to help us fight terrorism, to stop terrorists coming into Syria through their surrogate governments in our region, or not? That is the real question. If they are ready, we will welcome them. This is not personal," Assad emphasized.

Comment: This man is calm, collected and logical. He is aware of Syria's international rights and is not afraid to voice them. He strikingly points out the differences in approach between the Western allies and the Russian cadre--one is blatantly illegal and the other respectful of international law and protocol. Says a lot.
