UK drafts resolution blaming Assad for 'chemical weapons' attack

Britain has drafted a UN Security Council resolution condemning the Assad regime's alleged use of chemical weapons. In spite of uncertainty over who was behind last week's attack, western powers are insisting the Syrian government was responsible.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron announced the resolution would be tabled in New York later Wednesday on his Twitter feed.

West prepared Syria intervention since last year

Western countries have been planning a military operation in Syria since last year, the RIA Novosti news agency reported on Wednesday, citing a reliable source in Russia's Security Council.

"The escalation of the threat of military aggression against Damascus is no surprise. This aggression has been prepared since last year. Various options were mapped out and rehearsed by NATO troops," the source said. "Remember the invasion of Iraq? It was also preceded by so-called 'direct proofs" allegedly received by Western intelligence services from their most reliable sources. The opinion of UN specialists was ignored. But later it became known that those 'intelligence sources' were shamefully lying. And we see the result - the Iraqi state almost entirely destroyed, terrorists dominating the country, hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths, and the dire situation of the Iraqi people," the source said.

Confirmed: US claims against Syria - There is no evidence

The Wall Street Journal has confirmed what many suspected, that the West's so-called "evidence" of the latest alleged "chemical attacks" in Syria, pinned on the Syrian government, are fabrications spun up from the West's own dubious intelligence agencies.

The Wall Street Journal reveals that the US is citing claims from Israel's Mossad intelligence agency fed to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a repeat of the fabrications that led up to the Iraq War, the Libyan War, and have been used now for 3 years to justify continued support of extremists operating within and along Syria's borders.

Wall Street Journal's article, "U.S., Allies Prepare to Act as Syria Intelligence Mounts," states:

Remember curveball: dangerous, familiar twaddle precedes US military assault on Syria

Curveball in the Independent
© Tony CarlucciFrom Independent's "Man whose WMD lies led to 100,000 deaths confesses all: Defector tells how US officials 'sexed up' his fictions to make the case for 2003 invasion." In retrospect, the corporate-media has no problem admitting the insidious lies that were told to justify the invasion and occupation of Iraq - the lead up to the war was another story. A verbatim repeat of these admitted lies are being directed at Syria amidst the West's failure to overthrow the government with terrorist proxies.
Update: Indeed - just as was suspected, according to the Wall Street Journal's piece, "U.S., Allies Prepare to Act as Syria Intelligence Mounts," citing US administration sources, the UN has been urged to end their investigation and withdraw, and both the discredited CIA and their Israeli counterparts claim to have the "intelligence" needed to proceed with military strikes - a verbatim repeat of the fabrications used to rush the world into war with Iraq upon intentionally false pretenses.

The CIA and Israel's Mossad are neither impartial nor objective, and exist solely to support the interests and objectives of their respective nations. As explained below, the goal of military intervention and regime change in Syria was a joint and foregone US-Israeli-Saudi conclusion as far back as at least 2007, and some might argue, the early 1990's.

The Wall Street Journal also reiterated America's intentions to sidestep the UN and international law to carry out the attacks.

Exposed: UN admits it didn't ask for access in Syria until Saturday

Lies exposed
© Unknown
John Kerry stated yesterday: "I spoke on Thursday with Syrian Foreign Minister Muallim and I made it very clear to him that if the regime, as he argued, had nothing to hide, then their response should be immediate - immediate transparency, immediate access - not shelling. Their response needed to be unrestricted and immediate access. Failure to permit that, I told him, would tell its own story.

"Instead, for five days, the Syrian regime refused to allow the UN investigators access to the site of the attack that would allegedly exonerate them. Instead, it attacked the area further, shelling it and systematically destroying evidence. That is not the behavior of a government that has nothing to hide. That is not the action of a regime eager to prove to the world that it had not used chemical weapons. In fact, the regime's belated decision to allow access is too late, and it's too late to be credible. Today's reports of an attack on the UN investigators, together with the continued shelling of these very neighborhoods, only further weakens the regime's credibility."

On Thursday, Reuters reported: "The United Nations demanded Syria give its chemical weapons experts immediate access on Thursday to rebel-held Damascus suburbs where poison gas appears to have killed hundreds just a few miles from the UN team's hotel."

In fact, according to an exchange at a news conference at the UN today, the UN did not make a formal request of the Syrian government until Saturday and the Syria government responded positively the next day.

Comment: Very good questions. It clearly show some concerted efforts to delay the process which along with a good dose of lies has cast the Syrian government in a bad light.

British MP George Galloway: Israel provides terrorists in Syria with chemical weapons

A British lawmaker says he believes the Israeli regime was the main culprit behind killing hundreds of civilians in Syria, because it provided terrorist groups affiliated with al-Qaeda with chemical weapons they used against civilians.

"If there's been any use of nerve gas, it's the rebels that used it...If there has been use of chemical weapons, it was Al Qaeda who used the chemical weapons", said Respect Party MP for Bradford West, George Galloway.

"Who gave Al Qaeda the chemical weapons? Here's my theory: Israel gave them the chemical weapons", Galloway MP added.

Meanwhile, media reports had it that Qatar's Al Jazeera TV and Reuters news agency published the news of massacre in East Ghouta, Damascus "one day" before the massacre happened.

According to the reports tens of videos were uploaded before foreign-backed terrorists announced and accused the Syrian government of conducting chemical attacks on its own people. Those evidences show the terrorists massacred people, including women and children, then recorded and uploaded the scenes to deceive the world's public opinion, but they did so hurriedly and gave themselves up.

The question here is why the Syrian government and its army should have committed such a heinous mass murder using chemical weapons when the United Nations inspectors are visiting the country to investigate the use of such weapons?

Russia and China step up warning over strike on syria

Russia and China have stepped up their warnings against military intervention in Syria, with Moscow saying any such action would have "catastrophic consequences" for the region.

The US and its allies are considering launching strikes on Syria in response to deadly attacks last week.

The US said there was "undeniable" proof of a chemical attack, on Monday.

UN chemical weapons inspectors are due to start a second day of investigations in the suburbs of Damascus.

The UN team came under sniper fire as they tried to visit an area west of the city on Monday.

A spokesman for UK Prime Minister David Cameron says the UK is making contingency plans for military action in Syria.

Mr Cameron has cut short his holiday and returned to London to deal with the Syrian crisis.

Death squad kills 12 Afghan civilians

Afghan President Hamid Karzai has condemned the killing of 12 civilians in two separate attacks in Afghanistan.

Mr Karzai blamed the Taliban for the attacks and said neighbouring Pakistan had failed to use its influence to bring the Taliban to join peace talks.

He said the Taliban and their backers wanted Afghanistan "impoverished and underdeveloped forever".

Six people were killed in eastern Paktia province. Six were abducted and shot dead in western Herat province.

Condemnation

President Karzai's condemnation was expressed in the harshest of terms, the BBC's Karen Allen in Kabul reports.

The Afghan leader's comments came after a two-day visit to Islamabad where he held talks with the Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif. The focus of their meeting was to kick-start negotiations with the Taliban - over which Pakistan is understood by its neighbours to have some influence - but there have been no breakthroughs so far.

With elections next April and foreign troops due to leave Afghanistan by the end of next year, President Karzai is under pressure to begin negotiations with the Taliban.

However, one of Mr Karzai's key demands, the release of a high-value Taliban prisoner from Pakistan, appears not to have yet been honoured following this week's talks.

Best of the Web: Does Obama know he's fighting on al-Qaeda's side?

Image
If Barack Obama decides to attack the Syrian regime, he has ensured - for the very first time in history - that the United States will be on the same side as al-Qa'ida.

Quite an alliance! Was it not the Three Musketeers who shouted "All for one and one for all" each time they sought combat? This really should be the new battle cry if - or when - the statesmen of the Western world go to war against Bashar al-Assad.

The men who destroyed so many thousands on 9/11 will then be fighting alongside the very nation whose innocents they so cruelly murdered almost exactly 12 years ago. Quite an achievement for Obama, Cameron, Hollande and the rest of the miniature warlords.

This, of course, will not be trumpeted by the Pentagon or the White House - nor, I suppose, by al-Qa'ida - though they are both trying to destroy Bashar. So are the Nusra front, one of al-Qa'ida's affiliates. But it does raise some interesting possibilities.

Hungary sheds international bankers' shackles: IMF told to vacate the country after 2009 loan paid off

bankers demo

Hungary is making history of the first order.

Not since the 1930s in Germany has a major European country dared to escape from the clutches of the Rothschild-controlled international banking cartels. This is stupendous news that should encourage nationalist patriots worldwide to increase the fight for freedom from financial tyranny.

Already in 2011, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán promised to serve justice on his socialist predecessors, who sold the nation's people into unending debt slavery under the lash of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the terrorist state of Israel. Those earlier administrations were riddled with Israelis in high places, to the fury of the masses, who finally elected Orbán's Fidesz party in response.

According to a report on the German-language website "National Journal," Orbán has now moved to unseat the usurers from their throne. The popular, nationalistic prime minister told the IMF that Hungary neither wants nor needs further "assistance" from that proxy of the Rothschild-owned Federal Reserve Bank. No longer will Hungarians be forced to pay usurious interest to private, unaccountable central bankers.

Instead, the Hungarian government has assumed sovereignty over its own currency and now issues money debt free, as it is needed. The results have been nothing short of remarkable. The nation's economy, formerly staggering under deep indebtedness, has recovered rapidly and by means not seen since National Socialist Germany.

Comment: The American Free Press is slanting this story a bit too much 'to the right'. Note the comment about this "not being seen since National Socialist Germany," implying that Nazism did well to cut its dependence on 'Jewish money'.

This completely overlooks the role played by key figures in the American establishment towards funding the Nazi war machine.

Nevertheless, in this instance, the Hungarian government does appear to be using its national banking system to support rather than fleece its people.
