Puppet Masters
Billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on 6 July and charged with sex trafficking of minors by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York (SDNY). According to the indictment, the financier, who pleaded not guilty, "sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls" at his mansions in Manhattan and Palm Beach from 2002 to 2005.
The Epstein sex scandal first caught the headlines in the 2000s. In May 2006, Palm Beach police filed a probable cause affidavit stating that Epstein should be charged with four counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and a lewd and lascivious molestation count.
Ocasio-Cortez confronted former ICE director Thomas Homan during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Friday, apparently trying to goad him into admitting the inhumanity of splitting up families under the Trump administration's zero tolerance illegal immigration policy.

Yesterday, a Hebrew-only piece appeared in Haaretz, by Morris, titled "The Director of Historical Revisionism in the Defense Ministry". The title is a sarcastic pun on the name of the revealed department, the "Department for Security of the Defense Establishment" (acronym Malmab in Hebrew).
Morris congratulates Shezaf for her "excellent investigative report" and continues to tell in detail of the disappearance of archives he had quoted from concerning the massacre of Deir Yassin from 1948.
Trump said the raids will target criminals, but immigration advocates say the agency is increasingly targeting families who have recently entered the country. The president did not not give a specific time for when the ICE operations would take place on Sunday.
"There's nothing to be secret about. Can I tell you what? There's nothing to be secret about. ICE is law enforcement, they're great patriots. They have a tough job. Nothing to be secret about," Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday.
"If the word gets out, it gets out. Hundreds of people know about it. It's a major operation. So if the word gets out, it gets out. It starts on Sunday and they're going to take people out and they're going to bring them back to their countries or they're going to take criminals out, put them in prison, or put them in prison in the countries they came from. We're focused on criminals as much as we can before we do anything else," Trump said.
'Destroy caves and shelters': Turkey launches second wave of military op against Kurdish PKK in Iraq
The Turkish army began moving into northern Iraq at 10pm local time on Friday, after conducting airstrikes and shelling the area with artillery, the Defense Ministry said. The goal of this operation, codenamed Claw-2, is "to destroy caves and shelters" used by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey and its NATO allies. The operation is a direct "follow-up" to Claw-1, launched by Ankara in Iraq's Hakurk area in May.

US President Donald Trump (L), Jared Kushner (C), US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and adviser, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
However, the image of US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman beaming as he snuck into a tunnel under the Palestinian Jerusalem neighbourhood of Silwan with a couple of sledge hammers to join a settler ceremony to open the tunnel finally exposed the US team as neither honest nor a broker. In fact the image showed a dishonest team of breakers of international law putting peace further and further into the future.
What were Friedman and President Trump's Special representative for international negotiations doing in the name of the American people who they are meant to represent? My own fears about the US team which also includes Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor on the Middle East, were raised back in 2017 when I saw this picture.
Comment: Fanatical Zionists and fanatical evangelicals like Pence are cynically using each other for their own ends. Zionists marshal the considerable clout to be found in America's bible belt to ensure the election of congressmen who will continue to support Israel. Evangelicals support the existence of Israel, in the deluded belief that the construction of the Third Temple will bring about the Second Coming. That this eschatological nonsense produces real suffering is completely lost on those "righteous" Christians and Jews. It's the Lord and Yahweh's will.

A bipartisan amendment to bar the executive branch from offensive action against Iran without explicit authorization from Congress was adopted with a 250-170 vote, with 27 Republicans joining the Democrats in support, and seven Democrats crossing the aisle in opposition.
The amendment was proposed by otherwise unlikely allies: Rep. Ro Khanna (D-California) of the Progressive Caucus, and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) of the Freedom Caucus, one of the most prominent Trump supporters in the House.
"What Ro and I are proposing is not to lay our arms down and make victims or targets out of our service members," Gaetz told Fox News prior to the vote, flanked by Khanna. "We do not believe that any president should be able to lurch into a decades-long war in the absence of approval by Congress."
Comment: Let's see if this makes it through the Senate.
House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Eliot Engel (D-New York) and ranking member Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) reacted to the delivery of the missiles by declaring that Turkey and its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, "must face stiff consequences."
"President Erdogan was given a very clear choice. Unfortunately, he has clearly made the wrong one. That a NATO ally would choose to side with Russia and Vladimir Putin over the alliance and closer cooperation with the United States is hard to fathom," the duo said in a statement on Friday.
A lengthy report issued by the U.K. Ministry of Defence late last year outlined multiple scenarios for the future of the planet, with a globalist angle.

Critics of facial recognition technology have described it as a ‘dangerously intrusive and discriminatory’.
The Neoface system used by the Metropolitan police and South Wales police is supplied by the Japanese company NEC, which markets the same technology to retailers and casinos to spot regular customers, and to stadium and concert operators to scan crowds for "potential troublemakers".
The technology and its use by police has met considerable criticism. Its use by South Wales police is under judicial review, while the information commissioner, Elizabeth Denham, has criticised "a lack of transparency about its use". Tony Porter, the surveillance camera commissioner, last year intervened to stop Greater Manchester police using facial recognition at the Trafford shopping centre.
This month, University of Essex researchers who were given access to six live trials by the Met found matches were correct in only a fifth of cases and the system was likely to break human rights laws.

Comment: Nice to see the upstart, virtue-signalling brat, Ocasio-Cortez, get a richly-deserved public smackdown. Thomas Homans spoke truth to power. Whether or not power is listening is another matter.
