Puppet Masters
Speaking at the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party last month, Xi Jinping delivered what Western analysts are calling an "incendiary speech" in which he called for a military union with Russia that would render NATO "powerless" and "put an end to the imperialist desires of the West."
The harsh statements come at a time when both Beijing and Moscow find themselves vulnerable to an increasingly hawkish US foreign policy that has resulted in a series of massive war games on both countries' doorstep and the placement of missile shields in strategic quadrants to limit the ability of both Russia and China to defend themselves if conflict were ever to ensue.
"The world is on the verge of radical change," said the increasingly frustrated Chinese President. "We see how the European Union is gradually collapsing, as is the US economy - it is all over for the new world order."
MOSCOW - Over 3,700 civilians have been killed and over 6,500 have been injured as a result of the ongoing civil war in Yemen, the United Nations said Friday.
"The number of civilian casualties in Yemen has been steadily mounting over the past few weeks. Despite the cessation of hostilities, between 11 April and 11 August 2016, we have documented 815 civilian casualties, including 272 deaths and 543 injured...The total number of civilian casualties between March 2015 and 11 August 2016 stands at 10,270, including 3,704 killed and 6,566 injured," UN High Commissioner for Human Rights spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani told a briefing.

Police officers stand by a regional train in Wuerzburg southern Germany on July 18, 2016 after a man attacked train passengers with an axe.
The US National Security Agency (NSA) has helped the German Federal Intelligence Sevice (BND) in its investigation of the two July attacks in Wurzburg and Ansbach, a source close to the investigation told Focus, a German weekly magazine. The NSA decoded the messages reportedly sent by an Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) coordinator from a SIM card registered in Saudi Arabia.
The orders from the unknown IS agent were sent to the two actors shortly before the attacks, Der Spiegel reported last week.
Between August 11-12 and within a 24 hour period, several bombs detonated in four separate regions of Thailand including Trang, the resort city of Hua Hin, Phuket, and Surat Thani. Several deaths were reported and dozens were maimed as shrapnel tore through their bodies.
The Western media was quick to blame the violence on southern separatists - however - that low-intensity conflict over the course of several decades has never ventured into any of the areas recently struck. There also is a matter of no motive existing for such a drastic escalation.
What the Western media intentionally is omitting, however, or ambiguously referring to dozens of paragraphs down within their respective reports, is that the primary suspects are instead the US-backed opposition headed by ousted ex-Prime Minster Thaksin Shinawatra, his Pheu Thai political party (PTP), and his ultra-violent street front, the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD), also known as "red shirts."
They possess the means and the motive, and the targets and timing also all point to them.
George Soros' Open Society's Foundation is responsible for funding many "civil rights organization" that promote "Western values" in Russia.
Soros is one of the 30 richest people in the world, known for supporting Cultural Marxist organizations around the world, using his billion dollar wealth to wield enormous influence in society.
Here is a damning quote from the leaked files of Soros' Open Society Foundation:
By contrast, Russia is the top buyer of gold in the world today, and has been steadily increasing its reserves over the past 15 years. This is being done, presumably, to disengage from the dollar system, using a gold-backed ruble system. Could this not be one of the core reason that Putin is the enemy of Western elites?
Comment: Putin continues on this track with a change in financial workings within Russia by abandoning the West's economic/banking model: Putin says nyet to neo-liberals, da to national development

Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro (C), Cuba's President Raul Castro (L) and Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro attend a gala for Fidel Castro's 90th birthday at the Karl Marx theatre in Havana, Cuba, August 13, 2016.
On Saturday, Castro attended a gala held in honor of his 90th birthday, although the iconic leader didn't speak as he sat next to his brother, President Raul Castro, and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
"Great powers like China and Russia can't be subjected to threats of deploying nuclear weapons. They are people of great courage and intelligence," Castro said in his letter, which was published on the website of the Official Body Central Committee of the Communist Party Of Cuba.
"Mankind is faced today with the greatest danger in its history," he wrote. "We must preserve peace around the world and must not let any world power believe it has the right to kill millions of human beings," Castro added.
Comment: Castro speaks of peace but the US refuses to listen.
Comment: Though we have included a number of biting and insightful looks at the Democratic National Convention here, the following video brings home the Orwellian nature of that plastic spectacle as few have.
Sorry I'm late getting this one up, I recorded it days ago and still think it's worth putting all these things in one place.
According the The Washington Times, an anonymous source told Inside the Ring the memorandum "warned all officials and defense contractors that playing Pokemon Go, the hugely popular Japanese video game, poses a potential a security risk to secure and sensitive facilities."
This week, our media have sadly misdirected our attention again, ignoring real information, preferring to present a scream of outrage over President Erdoğan going to Russia.
Of course, the matter of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline was discussed and the project will be revived. Turkey is not going to spit on the transit fees.
This gas pipeline to southern Europe must pass through Greece and Macedonia, but for their misfortune: Greece will end up being looted by Germany, Macedonia will continue to be destabilized by the US, as a compliant government will not be in place.
Bulgaria has made overtures about relaunching the South Stream project. Regime change is in sight, as the US will never let a gas pipeline develop which would transit Serbia and Hungary, these poor disciples of Atlanticism.

Comment: These attacks may look like actual blowback - 'real' Daesh nutjobs attacking Germans with no help from the Western security apparatus - until you consider that blowback deals with unintended consequences. The current climate of fear and terror is not unintended. While many in European police and intelligence are no doubt convinced it's their job to 'stop terrorism', those at the top of the food chain couldn't be happier about it. It's less work for them to simply sit back and watch as their decades-long labor takes fruit.
But even then, we have to ask: did the NSA just provide instruction on how to unlock the data? Or did they provide the data itself? If the latter, is it even accurate?
