Despite the temporary suspension of the Parliament of Novorossiya's activities, Oleg Tsarev continues to actively communicate with his peers in Ukraine, including colleagues from the Verkhovna Rada, big Ukrainian businessmen, and politicians sympathetic to the idea of reintegrating Russia and the former Soviet republics.

"The Hotel Kiev is the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada's hotel in which non-Kiev deputies often reside. The entire seventeenth floor is held in strict secrecy by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, and his assistants and guards.

The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andrey Parubiy, is preparing to move to Avakov's floor. Three double rooms have been specially reserved and are undergoing remodeling for him. One is for Parubiy himself, and the other two for his assistants and his guard. The floor is served by a separate elevator in front of which on the ground floor are guards on duty.

Saudi troops involved in Riyadh's relentless onslaught on Yemen have been given a one-month cash bonus.

On Sunday, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (seen below) announced in an official decree that the bonus would be given to all members of the kingdom's armed forces who are involved in operations against Yemen.

The decree notes that the bonus is a token of Saudi Arabia's appreciation and would also be given to members of defense and interior ministries, as well as the National Guard, who are involved with the operations.

Election campaigns for the State Duma (Russia's lower house of parliament) are in full swing with the "party of power," United Russia, and its leader Dmitry Medvedev, being faced with obstruction. Especially noticeable in these elections has been the campaign to discredit Medvedev. The most notorious manifestation of this campaign to discredit United Russia is the focus on the unsuccessful statement of Dmitry Medvedev on teachers' salaries which he voiced on August 4th during a meeting with teachers in the Republic of Dagestan.

Medvedev is the leader of United Russia whose name is first on the party's pre-elections list. It has been suggested that this campaign could be the result of a struggle within the apparatus put up by those who want to sweep Medvedev out of the post of Prime Minister. But there is also reason to believe that the order for this smear campaign came from a foreign organization. One fact that speaks in favor of this theory is that the American portal change.org published a petition calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Medvedev that gained more than 100,000 signatures in a day. Overall, the petition posted on the website on August 4th and addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin has been signed by 200,000 people. If this theory is true, then the aim of this campaign is not so much discrediting Medvedev as it is seriously damaging the image of the United Russia party.

I realize that truth and honesty are hard commodities to come by, but let's momentarily try them on for size and see if how they fit. Let's see if we can stomach the reality the people of Yemen have had to live under as the global community chose to avert its gaze.

Yes, a school was bombed and children were butchered. Yemen was violated and scarred beyond the tolerable and the comprehensible. What else is new? Yemen has died a thousand deaths already, and none have come to its rescue.

Yemenis have pleaded, argued and debated for 18 months, calling for inquiries, calling for a humanitarian corridor, calling on the international community to heed the cries of a nation caught in the fires of war. The world answered by way of deafening silence.

As you look on in disgust to the charred bodies of innocent school children realize that such barbaric attacks have become Yemen's daily bread. Since March 25, 2015, when Saudi Arabia unilaterally declared war on Yemen, an entire nation has been subjected to unfathomable abuses - so unfathomable in fact that the United Nations even kept mum to avoid facing the consequences of such human rights abuses.

I remember still how quickly UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon had to reinstate Saudi Arabia after labeling it a war criminal in its annual Children and Armed Conflict report. I remember how an allegedly impartial party was brought to a standstill after Riyadh threatened to withdraw its financial contributions.

"The report describes horrors no child should have to face," Ban Ki Moon said in July. "At the same time, I also had to consider the very real prospect that millions of other children would suffer grievously if, as was suggested to me, countries would defund many U.N. programs."

Still we play civilization ... still we claim righteous outrage when bloodshed invades our TV screens.

Forget what you think you know about Yemen. Forget what you have been told, and the justifications that have been tossed around so that nobody would question the killings and call for restraint. Regardless of anyone's political persuasion, regardless even of what you may think of Yemen's Resistance movement, or the right of nations to exercise political self-determination, mass murder remains an inexcusable crime for which there is no excuse, no rationale, and no justification.

Children should never be treated as legitimate targets, not if we are still serious about the rule of law, not if we are to still stand and call ourselves civilized, not if we are in fact to have a claim on our very humanity. By all means be angry at Riyadh for the death and violence it has rained on Yemen. Be outraged and sickened by one country's insistence to lay waste to another so that it could impose its rule, and its theocratic model against an aspiring republic; but remember those parties which empowered al-Saud military.

Remember those "experts" who sit today in Riyadh's war rooms as children are sent to slaughter. Remember whose weapons and military know-how have been spent towards the killing of Yemen.

If Saudi Arabia should be held accountable - not that we are holding our breath, it should not stand alone in the booth of the accused - the United States and the United Kingdom have a lot to answer to. I would actually argue that in this particular case, guilt lies not with those who pulled the trigger (after all, it is in the nature of the scorpion to sting) but those who provided a steady flow of fire power.

But then again it is in the nature of capitalists to turn a profit. Money they say has no smell. Money they say is and end in itself, and its call should never be denied. Who could in fact refuse the powerful song of al-Saud billions. Who indeed? This is the reality of capitalism. The bloodshed you see on your screen is what our democracies bought, and what our global institutions are powerless to denounce. What happens when the bloodshed hits closer to home? What happens when war capitalists decide to train in your back garden and turn your children into target practice?

Silence will muzzle your outrage. Silence and one good dose of political impotency. We still speak of war crimes as if we could really punish the offenders. We speak of Yemen today as if we were serious about offering solace to those in mourning. Yemen should have taught you that our world system is broken. Actually not broken, but rather sold-out.

Congress wants documents from email probe, but some insist it's wrong to make interrogations and deliberations public.

The Obama administration is urgently debating how to respond to congressional demands for the official report on Hillary Clinton's three-and-a-half-hour interview at FBI headquarters, as some inside and outside government raise concerns about giving lawmakers access to politically sensitive records of the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email system.

During congressional testimony last month, FBI Director James Comey promised to respond promptly to lawmakers' requests for the interview summaries known as "302s" for Clinton and other witnesses, as well as other information gathered in the course of the year-long FBI probe.

"I'll commit to giving you everything I can possibly give you under the law and to doing it as quickly as possible," Comey told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee July 7.


Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) sent Comey a letter the same day requesting the entire "investigative file" on the Clinton email issue. Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) also asked Comey for all 302 reports related to the case, requesting that they be turned over by the end of last month.

Assassinations to reach an objective is not new for the all-powerful. The practice has been going on at least for centuries, if not for millennia, but it has intensified drastically in the last fifty years, and it is becoming ever bolder, as the rulers of the Anglosphere tighten their grip on humanity - on Mother Earth and her resources. .

So - these obscure self-nominated "Masters of the Universe", controllers of the western monetary system, are racing towards the New World Order, knowing that if they don't hasten, they may not reach it. Their impunity has become increasingly daring. Their pressure is on chief-puppet Obama, whose pressure is on NATO and his European and Mid-Eastern vassals, and the pressure they exert on the world is by devastating wars, death, chaos, destruction of entire countries, economies, people - robbing of their resources - making them destitute, homeless and sick, many of them into refugees, fleeing their homelands - and where do they go? - To their own executioners, to the countries of the European Union (sic), to the very spineless nations that helped destroy their livelihood, where they are not welcome, to say the least. But do they have a choice? - Nope. It's the closest place for them, where food and water and shelter, indispensable for sheer survival, may be available.

The Director for Defense Policy and Arms Control on the White House National Security Council staff for President Bill Clinton cautions that the B-61 tactical nuclear weapons stored in Turkey could easily be seized by jihadists.

"There are no do-overs in history, but there are lessons," says the former top White House arms control official Steve Andreasen. "What if the Turkish base commander at Incirlik had ordered his troops surrounding the perimeter of the base to turn their guns on the US soldiers that reportedly guard US nuclear storage bunkers there?"

The question posed by Andreasen plagues the minds of the America's national security establishment in the wake of the failed government overthrow in Turkey as an increasingly frustrated Erdogan regime has laid the blame for the coup squarely at the feet of the United States both for failing to extradite alleged mastermind Fethullah Gulen and also for an array of reasons resembling conspiracy theories.

Footage purportedly showing Boko Haram's new leader has emerged online, displaying a masked gunman demanding that Nigeria's government release their fighters in exchange for the abducted Chibok schoolgirls.

The new video is thought to feature Abu Musab al-Barnawi, the recently appointed successor to Abubakar Shekau, who has not been seen since early 2015.

While as yet unverified, the video is similar to previous Boko Haram releases.

In the 11-minute clip, a man dressed in military clothing with a gun slung across his shoulder claims that a number of the kidnapped girls have been killed in Nigerian air strikes, while at least 50 young women in head scarves can be seen lined up against a darkened backdrop.

One of the captives, identified by the BBC as Maida Yakubu, is then directed to appeal to her parents to put pressure on the Nigerian government to release imprisoned Boko Haram fighters.

Libyan authorities have warned Italy of the presence of a Milan-based cell affiliated to the Islamic State (Isis) terror group. The revelation was made after Libyan authorities seized some documents when government troops took over an IS (Daesh) headquarter in the city of Sirte earlier in August.

It is believed the cell is associated with Abu Nassim, a 47-year-old Tunisian man who lived in Italy before becoming an IS commander in Libya, AFP reported.

The news came as Italian authorities ordered the expulsion of a Tunisian national accused of planning an attack at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Bilel Chiahoui, 26, was arrested after he posted on social media messages threatening to attack the monument.
