SOTT Focus: Normalization of Pedophilia: Psychopaths Try to Recreate Society in Their Own Image

The mainstream media spreads the idea that psychologists classify pedophilia as a sexual orientation and not a mental disorder, thereby creating room for debate about the possible acceptance of this 'orientation'.

SOTT.net routinely exposes this great evil that is sweeping through and taking over much of the Western world and beyond: To get a proper understanding of the direction our society is taking, we need look no further than the Netherlands, a country considered as a testing ground for exporting liberal and 'progressive' values. A country where, during the 60s, the normalisation of pedophilia almost became a reality.

As Bart Bohemen from news site Curiales writes:
"The sexual revolution of the 1960s would change our society forever. Free sex, emancipation of women and the acceptance of homosexuality took off. In the wake of the cultural change, a completely different group fought for the acceptance of their pernicious sexual preference: pedophiles."
The following clip (in Dutch, with English subtitles, see transcript below the video) is a good example of the types of people who fight for the acceptance of pedophilia in society. In the video we see the very creepy Edward Brongersma, a Dutch politician and doctor of law at the time, telling the presenter that children crave sexual attention from adults, and how it is our duty, as grown-ups, to give them this 'affection'. In the clip we also get to hear pastor Alje Klamer, who says, "pedophiles opened my eyes."

Crazy night in Syria: Al-Qaeda allows Turkish military convoy through its territory in Syria, Russian and Syrian forces attack the convoy

Map of Syria
Map of Syria
Last night a Turkish military convoy entered northern Syria and were allowed to travel through territory controlled by the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front. This was captured on a video taken by an Al-Nusra militant himself.

The Turkish military brought a dozen armored vehicles from Turkey's Hatay province and has attempted to take up positions near the Syrian Army in Point 4 in the Tal Al-Eis area of southern Aleppo countryside.

This is now irrefutable evidence of NATO-member Turkey directly colluding with a terrorist organization, the excuse it gives to battle the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in nearby Afrin.

Comment: The Turkish military has taken up positions near the key town of Tal Al-'Eis in the southern countryside of Aleppo recently.
As a result of this move, the Turkish military has subsequently blocked the Syrian Arab Army's (SAA) route to the besieged Shiite towns of Al-Fou'aa and Kafraya in the Idlib Governorate.

The Syrian Army was steadily advancing in the southern countryside of Aleppo before the Turkish military sent a dozen armored vehicles towards Point 4 near Tal Al-'Eis.
On the night of Sunday to Monday, artillery forces of the Syrian Arab Army fired what appears to have been warning shots just ahead of the approach path of a Turkish convoy inbound to a key area in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo province.
A large Turkish Army military convoy consisting of armored vehicles has had a Syrian Army artillery barrage fired just ahead of its advance route in southwest Aleppo province as it was en-route to the strategic area of Tal Al-Eis on Sunday night.

The Syrian Army artillery strikes landed in and around the town of Qammari just before Turkish forces were due to pass through it.
The Turkish Armed Forces have reportedly left the western countryside of the Aleppo Governorate after parking there last night.
According to pro-opposition pages, the Turkish Army convoy consists of at least a dozen armored vehicles and several military personnel.
The Turkish Army convoy that left western Aleppo for the southern countryside today was halted after a mysterious explosion destroyed two of the vehicles along the road to Tal Al-'Eis.
According to one source in Aleppo, a fuel storage depot exploded near the Syrian border-town of Atareb, while another report claimed that the convoy struck a mine planted along the road to the southern countryside of the province.

Pro-opposition pages initially reported that the convoy was targeted by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA); however, SAA sources have denied targeting the Turkish troops.

In addition to accusing the Syrian Army of targeting the convoy, pro-opposition pages claimed that at least one Turkish soldier was killed by the explosion.

Below are two pictures that were posted by the jihadist rebels of Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham:

The Arabic-language website of RT reported that the artillery and missile units of the Syrian army targeted a Turkish army convoy by over 30 artillery shells and missiles near the town of al-Eis in Southern Aleppo.
In the meantime, media activists said that several Russian warplanes pounded the Turkish convoy that tried to go through the regions that are under the Syrian Army control near al-Eis and near the highway that connects Aleppo to Damascus.

They further said that two Turkish F-16 fighter jets flew over Kamari region where the Turkish military column was targeted by the Syrian artillery and missile units, adding that five Russian fighter jets were also flying over Abu al-Dhohour in Southeastern Idlib.

Also, dissident-affiliated sources reported that the Turkish warplanes flew over Aleppo airspace to provide back-up for the Turkish military column in Tal (hill) al-Eis and bombed a region in al-Hadher.

Local sources said that almost 100 military vehicles, including 15 tanks of the Turkish army together with military equipment of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) entered Syrian territories and tried to deploy behind Tal al-Eis that overlooks the Syrian Army's positions in al-Hadher region in Southern Aleppo.

Militant-affiliated websites said that the Turkish convoy launched attacks on Syrian Army positons after their deployment near Tal al-Eis.

Considering the alternative, let's keep Donald Trump

pence netanyahu
Mike Pence and Benjamin Netanyahu.
True believer Mike Pence could be a whole lot worse

When President Donald Trump traveled to Davos last week, the second foreign head of government he met with was Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu. When the expected groveling before Bibi was concluded the rest of the world learned that Trump is right on board the Netanyahu bandwagon when it comes to making sure that the Palestinians somehow disappear. Trump flat-out lied in asserting that "I can tell you that Israel does want to make peace," a line that comes straight out of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs playbook, but drew a frown from Bibi when he suggested there might actually have to be some concessions from both sides to reach an agreement. Netanyahu does not do concessions.

President Trump, who has no coherent Middle Eastern policy apart from abject deference to Israel, was particularly miffed because the Palestinians had "disrespected" Mike Pence on his visit to the region earlier in the week. They had refused to meet with the U.S. Vice President over the issue of Israel's claimed sovereignty in all of Jerusalem, which the Administration endorsed and claims to have "taken off the [negotiating] table."

Fox News host says she was told Strzok-Page texts show scramble to 'get our hands' on incriminating evidence

House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte joined Fox News' Maria Bartiromo Sunday to discuss the latest about the Strzok-Page text message saga. During their discussion, Bartiromo says she was told texts between the two FBI agents spoke of the intent to "destroy evidence."

"After the election, they talked about this secret society, did they also talk about destroying evidence?" asked Bartiromo.

Before the Republican lawmaker could reply, the Sunday Morning Futures host followed up with a stunner, saying, "I'm told there are some texts that haven't been released yet about 'we gotta get our hands on the hard drive or we gotta get our hands on the thumb drive'."

Sidestepping the question, Rep. Goodlatte replied, "Well, there is certainly a lot of questions about things we do know about, with regard to the earlier investigation, led by former Director Comey, where evidence was destroyed, before anybody outside of the FBI could get a look at it."

Paul Craig Roberts: Trump's Foreign Policy Is In Service To Israel

Eyes-wide-shut-food-for-thought
Peter Jenkins, a former British ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, expresses concerns about the decisions of France, Germany, and the UK to appease President Trump on fixing "flaws" in the Iranian nuclear agreement. It is worth a read to see that the European governments are still Washington's toadies despite the "hate Trump" attitude that allegedly prevails among Washington's European vassals.

Readers need to understand that there are no flaws in the agreement. The allegation of "flaws" is an Israeli orchestration in order to resurrect the attacks on Iran that the nuclear agreement terminated. What Trump is doing is appeasing Israel. Israel doesn't want Iran to have long range missiles, non-nuclear ones, that enhance Iran's defensive posture. More importantly, Israel does not want to lose the nuclear weapons charge that Israel invented and hoped to use to have the US military destabilize Iran a la Iraq and Libya. Israel's problem with Syria and Iran is that both countries support Hezbollah, the Lebanese militia that has twice driven the vaunted Israeli army out of southern Lebanon, territory Israel wants to occupy for the water resources. If Israel, armed as it is with the American Zionist Neoconservatives who control US foreign policy, can resurrect the Western attack on Iran, Israel can perhaps pressure Iran to abandon Hezbollah and Lebanon to Israel.

CBS suspends Ben Swann after he announces plan to revive investigative show Reality Check

Ben Swann

Award-winning journalist and news anchor Ben Swann was suspended by CBS Atlanta after announcing the return of his Reality Check segment.

UPDATE: On Monday morning CBS46 fired journalist and anchor Ben Swann. In an official statement, CBS46 General Manager Lyle Banks stated, "Ben Swann is no longer an employee of WGCL-TV, effective immediately."

Ben Swann CBS news suspension
On Friday, award-winning journalist Ben Swann was suspended as the evening anchor for CBS46 in Atlanta. Only hours before the suspension Swann had released a new video - his first independent video since January 2017 - announcing his impending return to the independent/alternative news arena. Rodney Ho of AJC.com was the first to report on the news.

"CBS46 evening anchor Ben Swann has been taken off the air after his efforts to revive his independent investigative operation he called Reality Check came to light today," Ho wrote. "On Thursday night, Swann posted a video on Vimeo teasing about an upcoming new project he planned to announce next Tuesday. He only identified himself as an "investigative journalist" and did not reference his ties to CBS46."

Comment: Apparently Ben Swann's past investigative efforts have hit too close to the mark.

New ISIS video sings to US jihadists: 'It is now time to rise, slit their throats, watch them die'

The Islamic State issued a new video today calling on "brothers in Europe, America, Russia, Australia and elsewhere" to "kill them all" as "it is now time to rise."

The English-language nasheed, inspirational songs frequently released by terror groups, shows scenes of Western terrorists' handiwork -- including the March 2017 Westminster Bridge attack and the ISIS pledge video recorded by Berlin Christmas market terrorist Anis Amri -- mingled with ISIS battlefield scenes and beheadings in Syria.

The video from ISIS' official Al-Hayat Media Center was distributed widely on YouTube and social media platforms Twitter and Facebook, along with being posted on file-sharing sites.

All talk: US govt announces it won't actually sanction countries trading with Russia because threat of sanctions alone is working

state dept building

The threat of sanctions is putting enough pressure on Russia for now, but new penalties may hit Moscow's arms trade partners abroad, the Trump administration says, adding there are more details in a classified report to Congress.

Monday was the date set for the administration to begin imposing sanctions under the Countering American Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), adopted with overwhelming majorities in the House and Senate last July.

"Today, we have informed Congress that this legislation and its implementation are deterring Russian defense sales," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said. Since the law was enacted "we estimate that foreign governments have abandoned planned or announced purchases of several billion dollars in Russian defense acquisitions," she added.

Members of Congress were informed in a classified briefing, according to a statement cited by Politico reporter Elana Schor.

Comment: In other words, "we will penalize anyone trading with Russia. Maybe. Which means we can't actually do it because we have no means to do so anyway, but y'all very bad for trading with the enemy."

RussiaGate hoax could remain until it's blown away by looming financial Cat 5 blowout

Rachel Maddow
Maddow - she owns RussiaGate and its a big lie - how will she ever live this one down?
For those of us who are not admirers of President Trump, it's even more painful to see the Democratic opposition descend into the stupendous dishonesty of the Russian Collusion story.

When the intelligentsia of the nation loses its ability to think - when it becomes a dis-intelligentsia - then there are no stewards of reality left. Trump is crazy enough, but the "resistance" is dragging the country into dangerous madness.

It's hard not to be impressed by the evidence in the public record that the FBI misbehaved pretty badly around the various election year events of 2016. And who, besides Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, and Dean Baquet of The New York Times, can pretend to be impressed by the so far complete lack of evidence of Russian "meddling" to defeat Hillary Clinton? I must repeat: so far. This story has been playing for a year and a half now, and as the days go by, it seems more and more unlikely that Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller is sitting on any conclusive evidence. During this time, everything and anything has already leaked out of the FBI and its parent agency the Department of Justice, including embarrassing hard evidence of the FBI's own procedural debauchery, and it's hard to believe that Mr. Mueller's office is anymore air-tight than the rest of the joint.
