Coronavirus as a substitute for world war

biowarefare crash
90 years ago, in October 1929, the global economic crisis started with a panic on the New York Stock Exchange. By the end of the year, the panic had spread far beyond the New York Stock Exchange. Businesses were shut down, tens and hundreds of thousands of employees were laid off, and American companies, not only small, but also giants, went bankrupt...

By 1930, the economic crisis had engulfed Europe, Latin America, Asia, and became the global one. The decline in production (recession) continued everywhere until 1933. America's national income fell from $87.8 billion in 1929 to $40.2 billion in 1933. More than 135,000 commercial, industrial, and financial companies failed. During the three years of the crisis, almost half of American banks went bankrupt.

Then the fall stopped, and a phase of stagnation began. In different countries, the authorities made titanic efforts to pull their economies out of the swamp of stagnation. The ideas of the English economist John Keynes, who advocated active state intervention in economic life, became popular.

Comment: As is clear in the histories of both communism and capitalism, it's not so much that one system is better than the other because both, in the end, fell to psychopaths in positions of power.

North Korea has reportedly conducted a new missile test, launching two projectiles off its eastern coast that fell into the Sea of Japan, the South Korean military reports. The launch marks the fourth such test in a month.

The missiles were fired by Pyongyang early on Sunday morning around 6.10am local time, and flew some 230km (143 miles) before eventually splashing into the waters of the Sea of Japan, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

The projectiles reportedly landed outside of Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ), the Japanese Coast Guard said.

The South Korean military denounced the launch as "a very inappropriate act" at the time when the world is gripped by the coronavirus pandemic, urging "an immediate halt" to the exercises.

US tightens security in Baghdad Green Zone amid Pentagon plans to attack PMU militia

Earlier it was reported that Washington ordered preparations for a military campaign against Iranian-backed militia groups in Iraq as the number of coronavirus patients around the world eclipses 660,000, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

The US has intensified security measures in the embassy located in the Baghdad's Green Zone as troops plan to carry out attacks against Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), also known as Hashd al-Sha'abi, Press TV reported.

According to the report, US troops are gathering at major military bases to be better protected from rocket fire from the PMU, knowing that every attack carried out against the militia groups will receive a response.

"Americans are well aware of the fact that any attack against resistance fighters or Hashd al-Sha'abi will not go unanswered, therefore, they want to protect their forces against any potential missile attack by resistance factions," said Karim Alawi, a member of the Iraqi parliament security and defence committee, cited by Press TV.

Top US general resists Trump administration's efforts to provoke war with Iran

Lt. General Robert P. White
A brave U.S. army lieutenant general may be risking his career to resist Trump administration efforts to provoke war with Iran. Robert P. White, who commands American forces in Iraq, last week wrote what the New York Times called a "blunt memo," in which he opposed a new plan by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and others to attack Iranian-allied militias inside Iraq.

Most of the world is concentrating on fighting the coronavirus pandemic. But a small group of powerful men are taking advantage of the huge distraction to try and instigate Iran into a war, apparently hoping against all logic that a conflict will prompt regime change there that will neutralize Teheran's influence in the Mideast. This warmongering group includes Pompeo; Robert O'Brien, the U.S. national security adviser; some top Israelis, including Benjamin Netanyahu; elements of the Israel lobby inside the U.S., and Saudi Arabia's de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

US forces use Rukban Camp in Syria as 'assembly line for training extremists', Russian military says

The Syrian government and the Russian reconciliation centre have repeatedly assisted those seeking to leave the Rukban camp, located in the US-controlled zone around its unauthorised military base at At-Tanf.

In a joint statement on Saturday, the Russian and Syrian interagency coordination headquarters stressed that the current disastrous situation in the Rukban refugee camp is a result of the illegal occupation of the area by American forces.
"We believe that the American side's reluctance to exert influence on their militants to ensure unhindered departure of people from the Camp and the safe work of humanitarian representatives in the At-Tanf zone they occupied is clear evidence of their intention", the statement pointed out.

The Rukban camp, which houses up to 25,000 refugees is located in the US-controlled zone around its unauthorised military base at Al-Tanf, making it almost impossible for humanitarian workers to access the area.

"The American side cynically seeks to take advantage of the situation concerning the spread of the coronavirus and is putting pressure on the UN leadership to bring 'humanitarian aid' to the Rukban refugee camp under the guise of diagnostic tools to feed controlled militants", the interagency coordinating headquarters of Russia and Syria said in a joint statement on Saturday.

The military stressed that the disastrous situation in the camp is a result of the illegal occupation of the area by American forces, noting that the refugees should be returned to their homes in the territory under the control of the Syrian government.

'Not necessary': Trump says he will not impose quarantine on New York, New Jersey & Connecticut and more corona-related news

US President Donald Trump has apparently abandoned the idea to impose federal quarantine on the three US states, hardest-hit by the coronavirus pandemic, including New York, saying a "strong" travel warning to be issued instead.

In an apparent about-turn, that came mere hours after he floated the idea of placing US Covid-19 "hotspots" of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut under federally mandated quarantine, Trump took to Twitter, stating that such a robust measure would "not be necessary."

Trump appears to have changed his mind after discussing the issue with the states' authorities, tweeting that he made the decision upon the "recommendation" of the VP Mike Pence-led coronavirus task force and after "consultation" with the governors of the affected states.

Comment: Residents of New York, New Jersey & Connecticut are now being urged to avoid all non-essential travel for the next 14 days. The coronavirus death toll has reportedly doubled in 2 days in the US, and the first baby in the US has died after being diagnosed with COVID-19, although it is not conclusive that coronavirus is what caused the infant's death. Students attending some of the most expensive universities in the US are trying to get their money back since classes are canceled, but the elites who run these schools don't seem to understand, or care about, the urgency of the situation. One school administrator responded to an email requesting a refund with an embedded video of her doing interpretative dance. Out of touch much?

Italy announced that their death toll passed 10,000. The death toll in New York increased by 209 on Saturday as people infected with the virus rose to 52,318. The state's presidential primary was also pushed back until June. Hospitals in New York are starting to become overwhelmed as there is a death every 17 minutes in New York City. New York City Public Hospital Doctor Steve Kassapidis even went so far as to say what was happening in the city was "hell on earth." Over 500 members of the NYPD have tested positive for COVID-19.

In an "unprecedented" move South Africa has entered into a martial law-style lockdown for three weeks starting on Friday. The lockdown of South Africa is the first time the government has stripped the basic freedoms of its citizens since it became a democracy in 1994. The sale of alcohol and cigarettes has been banned for three weeks, along with any outdoor activity such as jogging, walking dogs, and or going to the park. The government warned that offenders would be prosecuted and either fined or jailed. Conor McGregor has called for a similar lockdown in Ireland.

James Corbett: We are facing the 'greatest depression', a 'controlled demolition' and a move to a cashless system

The Greatest Depression
The Age of Terror was inaugurated with a series of controlled demolitions in New York City on September 11, 2001. Now the world is being led into the Age of Biological Terror with a controlled demolition of the economy that is already causing unprecedented carnage across markets and around the globe. As the dust settles on this demolition, an entirely new economy is ready to be erected in its place: one in which no citizen will be out of the sight of the all-seeing government. This week on The Corbett Report we examine the details of this collapse and why the bankster class is seeking to destroy the financial Ponzi scheme that they themselves created.

Continuity of Government activated: Pentagon sends teams into MOUNTAIN BUNKERS as US 'pandemic preparations' go into full swing

Cheyenne Mountain complex

Cheyenne Mountain complex
The US' Northern Command has sent teams of essential staff deep underground to wait out the Covid-19 pandemic. On the surface, more than a million grunts won't be quite as cocooned.

Air Force General Terrence O'Shaughnessy heads up the US' Northern Command, as well as the North American Aerospace Defense Command - a joint US/Canadian operation that monitors the skies over North America for missile and airborne threats. Earlier this week, O'Shaughnessy told reporters via Facebook that some of his watch teams would be moved from their usual command center at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado to a number of hardened underground bunkers.

One of these facilities is the Cheyenne Mountain bunker complex, a warren of tunnels buried under 2,000 feet (610m) of granite, and sealed behind blast doors designed to withstand a 30 megaton nuclear explosion.

Russia urges Turkey to "neutralize" terrorist groups in Syria and not try to rename them as moderates

Russia expects Turkey to continue work on separating the militants from the opposition in Syria's Idlib, as a fictitious renaming of terrorist groups is unacceptable, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Friday.

"We hope that the Turkish partners will continue efforts to dissociate the moderates from extremists, and take measures to neutralize the latter," Zakharova said at a briefing.

She stressed that simply renaming groups does not mean changing their essence, as they remain terrorist.
