The impending color revolution in Kyrgyzstan

The Male Nuland And The US' Central Asian Strategy

One of the most prominent Color Revolution experts in America's coup d'état toolkit has been hurriedly recalled from retirement for immediate deployment to Kyrgyzstan. Richard Miles, the engineer of the first Color Revolution in Serbia and the Rose Revolution in Georgia, has been appointed as charge d'affaires in Kyrgyzstan until a new ambassador is confirmed by the Senate, because the former one, Pamela Spratlen, has been reassigned as the US Ambassador to Uzbekistan. While it is not known how long Miles will remain in Kyrgyzstan, which will be the Eurasian Union's weakest economy when it joins in May of this year, ordinary citizens there already suspect that foul play is being planned against their country and have protested his arrival. Given that Miles' track record of regime change makes him worthy of the 'Male Nuland' moniker, it's appropriate to investigate what tricks the US may be up to in Central Asia, and how it may be trying to force the Ukrainian scenario onto Russia's southern doorstep.

The Male Nuland

Image

Richard Miles a.k.a father of Color Revolution
Richard Miles has kept a relatively low profile throughout the years and hasn't garnered the notoriety that his ideological protégé Nuland has, but this doesn't mean that he's any less dangerous for the countries he visits. In fact, since he's the individual who spearheaded the Color Revolution tactic in the first place, he can even be referred to as a 'proto Nuland', owing to his 'successes' in Serbia and Georgia that helped make EuroMaidan possible in the first place. While he was no longer the American Ambassador to Yugoslavia when the 2000 Bulldozer Revolution overthrow Slobodan Milosevic, he certainly paved the way for its implementation during his work over the three years prior, including overseeing the NATO War on Serbia. As regards Georgia, he served as US Ambassador from 2002-2005 and repeated the Belgrade template in Tbilisi.

Afterwards, he became the Executive Director for the Open World Leadership Center for most of 2006, during which he fostered the creation of thousands of pro-American 'leaders' in the former Soviet Union. To Center's own mission statement concisely describes the type of work that it does:
"Begun as a pilot program in 1999 and established as a permanent agency in late 2000, the Center conducts the first and only international exchange agency in the U.S. Legislative Branch and, as such, has enabled more than 17,000 current and future leaders from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan to meaningfully engage and interact with Members of Congress, Congressional staff, and thousands of other Americans, many of whom are the delegates' direct professional counterparts."
The above statement can be read as an admission that the Center's purpose is to create pro-American proxies that can seamlessly interact with and do the bidding of their Washington patrons, thereby essentially making it an NGO front for the US intelligence community's cultivation of Color Revolution assets. The organization doesn't hide the fact that its purpose is to promote American interests and profit, brazenly bragging that:
"Open World offers an extraordinary "bang for the buck" in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and value. The Center boasts an overhead rate of about 7 percent, every grant contains cost-shared elements, and more than 75 percent of our appropriation is plowed back into the American economy every year. The Center might best be described as both a mini-stimulus plan as well as a true international exchange program."
Bearing in mind Miles' experience in running this Color Revolution recruitment front, as well as his contribution to managing two 'successful' regime change operations in Serbia and Georgia, he can easily be identified as one of the most dangerous people in the US deep state establishment, and the fact that he was recalled from retirement to urgently take the 'temporary' post in Kyrgyzstan during these tense geopolitical times must absolutely be seen as a warning about Washington's nefarious intentions.

Megalomaniac Google? ... Internet behemoth now fancying itself as the ultimate gatekeeper of the truth

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. - 1 Corinthians 3:18

Towering arrogance from speech-rights midgets? The self-appointed gate-keepers of the Truth. Imaged cropped from video here.
A wave of commotion has just been unleashed by the very recent FOX News report on Google's contemplating of changing the way it ranks website pages with its famous search engine. Also read here.

Rather than ranking websites on their popularity, a Google research group is looking into ranking websites based on how "factual" they are. If implemented, it would literally mean Google taking on the gatekeeper role of who deciding fact from fiction. Google has already created a "knowledge vault" containing "commonly believed facts". In summary sites found to deviate from what Google considers facts, would be automatically down-ranked in searches. Result: dissident opinions would surely get buried.

Though the system may have some merits, it is chock-full of pitfalls and it risks the establishment of an information dictatorship - a so-called Orwellian Ministry Of Truth. In other countries such information control programs are the sort of things one associates with tyrannies and dictatorships, like Iran, North Korea, Red China, Russia, Venezuela or Islamic fundamentalist states. Note in all these states, leaders are convinced it's for the overall good of the people.

"That is very troubling," writes Jim Lakely, Director of Communications of the Chicago-based think-tank The Heartland Institute in an e-mail. He thinks there is no doubt that the 'facts' of politicized sites who clearly have a defined agenda will get favorable treatment in Google's 'knowledge vault' while dissident sites will be locked out.

"I worry about this issue greatly... My site gets a significant portion of its daily traffic from Google," Anthony Watts told FoxNews.com. "It is a very slippery and dangerous slope because there's no arguing with a machine," he added.

While Google maintains this project is only in the development phase, others are not so sure. One climate science dissident, who wishes to remain anonymous for the time being, believes that Google is already "heavily biased and directing traffic away" from climate science skeptic sites.

U.S. backed Jihadists in Ukraine

Image
While we're fighting the Islamic State, a.k.a. ISIS, in Iraq and Syria, and American officials tout the alleged danger of an attack on the US homeland, in Ukraine Washington and the Caliphate are fighting on the same side. A remarkable series of articles by Marcin Mamon in The Intercept has documented an aspect of the Ukraine conflict that no one else has paid any attention to: the role played by the "Dudayev Battalion," a fighting force of radical Islamists consisting of Chechens, but also including fighters from throughout the Caucasus as well as some Ukrainians.

The keys to Ukraine's Islamist underground were handed to Mamon by a contact in Istanbul, "Khalid," who commands the ISIS branch there. "Our brothers are there," he told Mamon, and the reporter traveled to Ukraine where he was put in touch with a contact named Ruslan, who led him to Munayev's clandestine camp.

Named after the first "president" of breakaway Chechnya, Dzhokhar Dudaev, the Dudayev Battalion was commanded by Isa Munayev, recently killed in a east Ukraine. Imbued with a fanatical hatred of the Russians, who are backing the rebels in the east, Munayev's men also feel they are paying back a debt, since the ultra-nationalist Right Sector battalions now fighting for Kiev apparently helped the Chechens in the past. Right Sector is an openly neo-fascist paramilitary group which provided much of the muscle that made the coup against Viktor Yanukovych, former Ukrainian president, possible. Organized into various battalions, including the notorious Azov Brigade, they idolize the World War II collaborators with the Nazis, who fought Soviet troops: the ultra-nationalists have been accused of carrying out atrocities in the Donbass, as well as terrorizing their political opponents on the home front. According to Mamon, they also have been involved in fighting the Russians in far-off Chechnya, where former Right Sector bigwig Oleksandr Muzychko fought alongside Munayev and "the brothers" against the Russians. As Ruslan told Mamon:

"I am here today because my brother, Isa, called us and said, 'It's time to repay your debt. There was a time when the brothers from Ukraine came [to Chechnya] and fought against the common enemy, the aggressor, the occupier."

Comment: Hardly a blowback: Dagestan—'Syria comes to Russia...'
Ethnic Muslim populations in this region of Russia and of the former Soviet Union, including Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and into China's Xinjiang Province, have been the target of various US and NATO intelligence operations since the Cold War era ended in 1990. Washington sees manipulation of Muslim groups as the vehicle to bring uncontrollable chaos to Russia and Central Asia. It's being carried out by some of the same organizations engaged in creating chaos and destruction inside Syria against the government of Bashar Al-Assad. In a real sense, as Russian security services clearly understand, if they don't succeed in stopping the Jihadists insurgency in Syria, it will come home to them via the Caucasus.

Ex-Mossad chief Dagan calls Bibi's Iran speech "bullshit"

Former Mossad chief Meir Dagan
Former Mossad chief Meir Dagan lambasted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a Channel 2 interview previewed Thursday, calling his speech before Congress "bullshit," and charging that his policy vis-a-vis the Palestinians endangered the Zionist dream.

"The reality being championed by Netanyahu and [Jewish Home party leader Naftali] Bennett will result in a bi-national state. I think that's a catastrophe," Dagan said.

"In the Palestinian arena, [Netanyahu's] policy will lead ... to apartheid," he told Channel 2 Thursday, adding that such an outcome will "end the Zionist dream."

Comment: A couple points to consider:

1) Mossad operates "by way of deception". If Dagan is planning a public rally, Mossad itself is probably doing more behind the scenes. The question is, does Mossad's agenda line up with Dagan's public statements -- to replace Netanyahu? Or is that part of the deception?

2) Dagan is criticizing Netanyahu because he isn't Zionist enough. On the other hand, he seems to be forecasting an apartheid state (as if Israel isn't already there). So what exactly are Dagan's (and Mossad's) views on the matter? How can Zionism be fulfilled without apartheid? That seems like a contradiction in terms.

Blame Putin! German government and media lie about Ukrainian crisis and lose public trust, only to use that as evidence of Russian 'info war'

Merkel_Putin
© AFP / Yuri Kadobnov
Thanks to the abysmal reporting during the Ukraine crisis, trust in Western media has reached an all-time low.

The situation in Germany is a case in point. According to a recent study, 63 percent of Germans have little or no trust in the Ukraine coverage of German mainstream media.

Western governments and media are freaking out and wondering what to do.

Fortunately, it is not difficult to identify the problem: The people are being lied to and manipulated. No, not by Western media but by Russian media - at least that's what the increasingly unpopular government officials, pundits and journalists in the West would have you believe.

Europe is losing the information war against Russia. That's the problem.

"Russia's advantage in the information war" was the main topic behind the scenes at the Munich Security Conference and German Chancellor Angela Merkel was the first to point this out, saying that the West should pay more attention to the non-military part of "Russia's hybrid warfare." It is unclear whether Merkel got any advice from The Economist's Edward Lucas, who suggested at the conference that the West should use KGB methods against Russian media.

A few days after Merkel had made this statement, German journalist Tilo Jung asked government spokesman Steffen Seibert if the German government is also fighting the information war. Seibert denied this and emphasized that the German government "is only informing about facts."

Since November of last year, RT Deutsch has been challenging the status quo in German media with a German-language website and a half-hour news program called "The Missing Part," which airs on weekdays. The online offering was intended to be the precursor to a full-fledged television channel but these plans have apparently been scrapped.

Although the means of the small and young RT Deutsch team are limited, they have managed to make their established colleagues very nervous.

The German establishment fears RT, and here's why

Two suspects in the high-profile murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov have been detained, the Federal Security Service (FSB) reported.

According to FSB chief Aleksandr Bortnikov, the suspects were identified as Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadayev.

Bortnikov said both suspects come from Russia's southern region of the North Caucasus, a restive place with insurgency and crime problems.

The investigation into the crime is ongoing, he added, speaking to Russian media.

The Investigative Committee confirmed the two detainees are implicated in both organizing and executing the hit on Nemtsov.

The Truth Perspective: Julius Caesar and the Transformation of Rome - Interview with Dr. Tom Stevenson

Sott Talk Radio logo
The Truth Perspective interviewed Tom Stevenson, author of the recent book, Julius Caesar and the Transformation of the Roman Republic. We discussed the life and times of Julius Caesar - Rome, religion, politics and war - and tried to answer the question: Did Caesar really aspire to tyranny from a young age? Or ever? What was Caesar really like, and are portrayals of him in history books and fiction really accurate?

Tom is currently Senior Lecturer in Classics and Ancient History at the University of Queensland, Australia. His research focus is on the politics and ideology of the late Roman Republic and early Empire, the careers of Cicero and Caesar, and he is currently working on a book on the history and significance of the Roman emperor as Pater Patriae (father of the fatherland).

Leading by example: Putin cuts own salary and other high-ranking officials by 10%

Russian President Vladimir Putin, has cut his own salary, the earnings of Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev and a number of other high-ranking officials by 10 per cent due to economic hardships experienced by the country.

According to the decree, which the President signed on Friday, the salaries will be cut from March 1 to December 31, 2015.

The reduction of wages will also affect Prosecutor General, Yury Chaika, and Investigative Committee head, Aleksandr Bastrykin as well as all members of the government including foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, and Defense minister, Sergey Shoigu.

The 10 per cent salary cuts may be well be extended into 2016, Putin's press-secretary, Dmitry Peskov, told RIA-Novosti news agency.

"This is a temporary ruling, caused by the current economic situation. If the conditions do not change significantly, this period will be extended. If there will be a change for the better then there will be no more reason for the extension," he said.

Comment: In contrast, in the United Kingdom MPs lose their dinner money but could still be in line for 10% pay rise, despite the persistent rhetoric by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osbourne, that in these times of austerity "we are all in this together". This fallacy was exposed by a recent study showing how the coalition has helped the rich by hitting the poor. By cutting his own salary and that of other leading Russian officials, leading by example as the country faces such economic hardships, it is no wonder Vladimir Putin enjoys a huge 85% approval rating.

ISIS commander is currently being treated in a Turkish hospital

τουρκία ισλαμικό κράτος
An Islamic State commander injured in a bomb attack in northern Syria is being treated in a Turkish hospital in the border province of Antakya.

Emrah C., a Turkish national, was admitted to Pamukkale University Hospital on Feb. 28, according to a statement released by Denizli province Governor's office.

The statement also confirmed the Turkish ISIL commander has full rights to health services benefits in the country.

"Judicial procedures regarding his injury were carried out when he crossed into Turkey from Syria. His treatment is still underway in Denizli in accordance with the right to receive medical attention, just like a normal citizen," the statement said.

Turkey has been heavily criticized for allowing foreign fighters to pass through its territory to neighboring Syria and Iraq to join the Islamic State. It has also been facing backlash for its reluctance to join US-led coalition efforts to fight the militant group, indicating an ideological link between some Turkish officials and the ISIL.

  • Turkish military says MIT shipped weapons to terrorists in Syria
Secret official documents about the searching of three trucks belonging to Turkey's national intelligence service (MIT) have been leaked online, once again corroborating suspicions that Ankara has not been playing a clean game in Syria. According to the authenticated documents, the trucks were found to be transporting missiles, mortars and anti-aircraft ammunition. The Gendarmerie General Command, which authored the reports, alleged, "The trucks were carrying weapons and supplies to the al-Qaeda terror organization."
Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) published a video report of immense implications - possibly the first national broadcaster in the West to admit that the so-called "Islamic State" (ISIS) is supplied not by "black market oil" or "hostage ransoms" but billions of dollars worth of supplies carried into Syria across NATO member Turkey's borders via hundreds of trucks a day.

The report titled, "'IS' supply channels through Turkey," confirms what has been reported by geopolitical analysts since at least as early as 2011 - that NATO member Turkey has allowed a torrent in supplies, fighters, and weapons to cross its borders unopposed to resupply ISIS positions inside of Syria.

Last September, Turkish daily Aydinlik reported that the AKP (Justice and Development Party) government opened a 75 bed-capacity hospital in the southeastern Turkish province Gaziantep to treat jihadists injured while fighting in Syria.

Not suprising since Israel and Jihadists are coordinating attacks in Syria

SOTT EXCLUSIVE: Match made in Sheol: Israel working with terrorists in Syria (says UN), Mossad training ISIS (says Putin aide)
Every day, it becomes more obvious that the U.S. and Israel (not to mention the EU and NATO) are the ideological blood-brothers of terrorist groups like ISIS and al-Nusra. They share the same brutal, cynical, anti-human mentality. They rape, torture, and murder in their struggle for global domination and their psychopathic urge for the ultimate degradation of all human values. And sooner or later, it will become so obvious that only the most die-hard authoritarian follower will buy into the transparent mask of sanity these psychopaths project to the world. Unfortunately, sick bastards like the ones ruling Israel don't give up easily. They're willing to take the world down with them.

Former Russian assassin comments on Nemtsov murder

sherstobitov
[Excerpts from the article]

The former professional killer Aleksey Sherstobitov who is serving a prison term for the twelve murders and attempts, told Gazeta.ru journalists about his opinion concerning the killers' professionalism, their use of various ammunition batches, and why Anna Duritskaya was not harmed.

Concerning weapon used in the murder: "How do you know it was a PM [Makarov pistol]? The same ammunition is also used by the APS [Stechkin automatic pistol, with a 20-round magazine and capable of automatic fire]?

On the use of different ammunition batches: "If you are trying to throw off the investigation, using different munitions is dumb, because the barrel rifling and the extractor will leave identical markings on the bullets and the casings. Moreover, it's dumb to mix ammunition batches because even during the Soviet era it could have been quickly figured out. It will only help the courts, because if they find similar ammunition from the same batches at your home, it will be additional evidence against you. It's another story if the killer was collecting ammunition from whatever he had available".

Comment: Meanwhile, this image is going viral in Russian media:

“Since the current US ambassador arrived in Russia, they killed Nemtsov, while he was in Georgia they killed Zhvaniya, and in Ukraine—Gongadze. Coincidence?” All three were prominent opposition figures, their deaths leading to political upheavals. To quote Ian Fleming, “once is a happenstance, twice--a coincidence, three times--enemy action.”
In related news, Russian media is reporting that Nemtsov's 'companion', Anna Duritskaya, not only was in a relationship with Ukrainian MP and commander of Dnepr-1 battalion (one of Kolomoisky's battalions), Yuri Bezera, according to her sister; she was recruited by Ukraine's security service, the SBU last September (according to Sergey Markov, Russian political scientists and member of the Public Chamber) in order to glean information on Bezera, Kolomoisky.
