Israeli goods swarm terrorist-controlled areas in Quneitra, Syria

Israeli medics terrorists
Local sources in Quneitra province revealed that terrorist organizations had been distributing Israeli-made foodstuff to the locals in the areas under their control.

This has been happening almost monthly, according to the sources which indicated that Israeli-made food items have flooded the areas controlled by terrorists in Quneitra countryside.

Comment: Israel has great interest in supporting terrorist forces working to topple Assad's democratically elected government. The food items recently found among Jabhat al-Nusra is just another sign of this plan.

Return of cold war rhetoric: "Risk of nuclear dirty bomb surges on poor US-Russia relations"

A C-130 plane drops paratroopers from the Polish 6th Airborne Division during a multi-national jump with soldiers and equipment from the U.S., Great Britain and Poland on to a designated drop zone near Torun, Poland, Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
The military provocations between NATO and Russia reached a new post-cold war high yesterday when Poland became the host to the largest joint NATO war game in eastern Europe since the end of the cold war. The purpose of the massive drill, according to the Guardian, is for NATO "partner countries to mount a display of strength as a response to concerns about Russia's assertiveness and actions." The 10-day military exercise dubbed Anaconda-2016, involves 31,000 troops and thousands of vehicles from 24 countries.

US Army Europe, which heads the exercise, says that the massive war games are "to train, exercise and integrate Polish national command and force structures into an allied, joint, multinational environment." Anaconda-2016 will be formally closed by officials at a ceremony in Warsaw on June 17. While the scenario for the drill is kept secret, the statement briefly says it will be focused on conventional warfare, meaning the bloc will be testing its capacity to "deploy, mass and sustain combat power" against an enemy more capable and well-trained than the rebel groupings which the US and its allies fought against in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The massive war games also play well with the current right-wing government in Warsaw which frequently argues that NATO must permanently deploy troops in eastern Europe to deter what the bloc keeps calling "Russian assertiveness."

As the Guardian admits, defense experts warn that any mishap could prompt an offensive reaction from Moscow. A defence attache at a European embassy in Warsaw said the "nightmare scenario" of the exercise, named Anaconda-2016, would be "a mishap, a miscalculation which the Russians construe, or choose to construe, as an offensive action". Sure enough, earlier today Moscow said that the NATO military presence is unjustified. Speaking to journalists on Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated, "I am convinced that every serious and honest politician is well aware that Russia will never invade any NATO member. We have no such plans."

Comment: The Anaconda exercises represent the biggest movement of foreign allied troops in Poland in peace time. What are the chances these exercises will be accomplished without a hitch, and if not, what will the response be from those who may negatively interpret the action? That the US/NATO is pre-positioning and posturing is an undisputed conclusion. It remains to be seen just how intent are the desires to instigate a third world war and what loose cannon will make that a reality. The momentary decisions are in the hands of the few. Their ramifications lie forever with the populace.

Killary used cell phone to approve drone assassinations, according to email investigation

As Hillary Clinton climbs to become the first female major US party presidential nominee, more and more incidents from the notorious email scandal are being revealed. This time it turns out she used her cell phone to approve drone assassinations in Pakistan and many other countries.

According to a new FBI report, during 2011-2012, Hillary Clinton, who served as a Secretary of State at the time of events, used her cell phone to approve of drone strikes that killed as many as 1,000 civilians, including up to 200 children in Pakistan alone.

The drone strikes, conducted in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, and other countries, were the CIA's responsibility. However, an extremely high number of civilian casualties eventually made some Pakistani officials stand up against the drone strikes, which led to the US State Department choosing intervene. In fact, the State Department criticized the CIA's timing of the attacks. No objections to the choice of targets were made.

This led to a situation where State Department officials were notified by the CIA before the time of attack, sometimes only half an hour or so. Thus, Hillary Clinton, as a head of Department of State, and her aides, effectively became the ones who authorized the attacks.

Comment: So not only is Killary breaking federal laws by using her personal email for government communication, she's also committing war crimes at the same time. She needs to be locked up for the rest of her life, and Obama should be threatened for the same for supporting and enabling her.

Why has France deployed special forces to Syria?

On Thursday, French defense ministry officials confirmed the deployment of French special forces in northern Syria with the announced purpose of advising Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the recapturing the city of Manbij from Daesh; however Russian military experts told the Russian media what might really be behind the move.

"The offensive at Manbij is clearly being backed by a certain number of states including France. It's the usual support — it's advisory," AFP quoted one French defense ministry official as saying, without giving further details on the deployment.

The official especially stressed that French special forces will not intervene militarily themselves and are not supposed to engage in combat with Daesh militants. Last Friday French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian also commented on the issue saying that the French troops were helping operations at Manbij "through weapons supplies, air presence and advice."

According to AFP reports, the SDF, a US-backed Kurdish-dominated alliance, are on the northern edge of Manbij, a strategic town held by Daesh that serves as a waypoint between the Turkish border and the jihadists' stronghold of Raqqa. Russian military experts provided their own explanations what might lie behind the move.

French bank Societe Generale is closing bank accounts of Russian diplomats in Paris without giving any explanations, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti Friday.

"While members of the French National Assembly and Senate vote for lifting anti-Russian sanctions, French bank Societe Generale, apparently afraid of the United States, closes accounts of not just ordinary Russian nationals, it closes accounts of Russian diplomats," the source said. He added that the bank's policy affected Russian officials working at the UNESCO, as well as Russian mission to France.

Societe Generale has not issued any statement on the issue so far.

Information war: After 3 days of mayhem in Marseille - primarily by English thugs - UEFA to sanction Russian fans ONLY!

English fans flee at the end of the Russia-England match in Marseille, June 11th 2016
Uefa have condemned the behaviour of fans involved in three days of violence in Marseille ahead of England's opening Euro 2016 match against Russia, but have confirmed that they cannot punish teams for anything that happens outside "the stadium perimeter".

Comment: How convenient. Russia is to be sanctioned while the English get away scot-free!

It means that neither England nor Russia will face action for the violent scenes witnessed in Marseille's old port area, where fighting and attacks have taken place since supporters started arriving on Thursday. However, after Russian fans appeared to charge their English counterparts at the full-time whistle at the Stade Velodrome, the Independent understands that Uefa will launch an investigation into the events that tarnished what was a well mannered and behaved match.

It was widely reported that England fans were provoked by French locals on Thursday, with bottles being thrown at groups of English fans gathered outside three separate pubs in the city. However, England fans appeared to be to blame for the violence that unfolded on Friday, with French police provoked into firing tear gas at groups of English fans that were behaving anti-socially under the influence of alcohol.

Comment: Provoked or not, the English fans behaved like animals.

Comment: The above is one of the tamer post-match analyses in the English press, which is providing full-spin coverage to re-cast the 3 days of mayhem caused by English hooligans as having been Russia's fault!

US raises tensions - sends destroyer to the Black Sea, Moscow responds

USS Porter
© en.wikipedia.org
USS Porter (DDG-78) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy, upgraded with a SEARAM launcher for the RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile.
Having sent not one but two aircraft carriers into the Mediterranean in what, as we reported yesterday, was meant to be a "clear message to Russia", the US decided to further antagonize Russia when on Monday it sent the US destroyer Porter in the Black Sea "for a series of drills with allies and forces of partner nations in what the United States called a routine deployment", the US Navy announced. To be sure, the US Navy was quite clear about its intentions with these deployments: "It provides some needed presence in the Med to check...the Russians," the official said. "The unpredictability of what we did with Truman kind of makes them think twice."

Well, as we said yesterday, "we expect Russia to respond promptly", and sure enough it did just that when earlier today the Russian Foreign ministry, cited by Reuters, said Moscow would respond to a U.S. naval ship's entry into the Black Sea with unspecified measures, saying it and other deployments were designed to ratchet up tensions ahead of a NATO summit, the RIA news agency reported. And this time, the US is not covering up behind some fake diplomatic pretext, and freely admits its intention is to fully antagonize Russia by sending a heavily armed vessel in what is the Russian equivalent to the Gulf of Mexico.

Russian state media reported that the USS Porter, a U.S. naval destroyer, entered the Black Sea a few days ago on a routine deployment, a move it said raised hackles in Moscow because it had recently been fitted with a new missile system. Of course, this is in addition to the two aircraft carriers already on location in the Mediterranean as the US is seemingly eager to dramatically escalate tensions with Russia, this time over sea.

"Of course, this does not meet with our approval and will undoubtedly lead to response measures, "RIA cited Andrei Kelin, a senior Foreign Ministry official, as saying about the USS Porter's movements. He also said the deployment of U.S. aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean was a show of force which in his view deepened a chill in ties between Moscow and Washington caused by Russia's actions in Ukraine and Syria." As regards the overall situation of course there is a definite increase and stoking of tensions in our relations," he was quoted as saying.

"There is nothing special about the movement of US vessels in this case. We know that aircraft carriers are moving in the Mediterranean Sea and elsewhere, they have a right to do so, this is freedom of navigation," he said. "But in general, this is a definite increase in [Russia-US] relations and all this is done ahead of the NATO summit in Warsaw - this is a demonstration of force," he added.

Comment: Washington leaders are a bunch of tension junkies pre-positioning and baiting a Russian first strike. Will Russia still call their bluff? And, for the US part, would it be a bluff? Turkey is feeling the heat and wanting protection, but this will be mere insulation on the excuse.

Former Chancellor: Germany making 'serious mistake' by allowing NATO build-up on anniversary of Nazi invasion

Berlin is making a "serious mistake" by planning to lead NATO's Eastern European buildup, given that it comes on the anniversary of the 1941 Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union, said a former German chancellor as cited by local media.

Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has called for a drastic change in European policy towards Russia. Instead of seeking for a major role in NATO's buildup against Russia in Eastern Europe and in the Baltics, Berlin should do its utmost to improve relations with Moscow.

It was therefore a "serious mistake" that Germany assumed leadership over NATO troops near Russia's borders "right on the [75th] anniversary of the German attack on the Soviet Union in June 1941," Schroeder said at a German Chamber of Commerce event in Austria, as cited by theSalzburger Nachrichten newspaper.

The date of the Nazi invasion of Soviet Union, June 22, is marked in Russia annually to pay tribute to war victims and Red Army soldiers killed or missing in action.

US-led NATO war games ramp up tensions with Russia

NATO Soldaten
NATO's recent actions have continually angered the Kremlin.

NATO and its allies are holding the largest military training exercises in a decade ahead of a NATO summit held in Warsaw, Poland in July. The NATO war games named Anakonda 2016 has added to continued tensions between Russia and the U.S. led NATO.

Anakonda 2016 will run for 10 days in June across Parts of Eastern Europe and the Baltic states. The exercises will involve 24 NATO and partner nations including the U.S., UK Germany, Canada, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. This week a U.S. warship entered the Black sea as part of the exercises, much to Russia's displeasure.

"American warships do enter the Black Sea now and then. Certainly, this does not meet with (Russia's) approval and will undoubtedly lead to planning response measures," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's European Cooperation Department, was quoted by RT.
