'Hillary Clinton took me through hell,' says rape victim who was 12 at time of her attack

The woman at the center of the scandal over Hillary Clinton's defense of an alleged child rapist speaks out in depth for the first time.

Hillary Clinton is known as a champion of women and girls, but one woman who says she was raped as a 12-year-old in Arkansas doesn't think Hillary deserves that honor. This woman says Hillary smeared her and used dishonest tactics to successfully get her attacker off with a light sentence - even though, she claims, Clinton knew he was guilty.

The victim in the 1975 sexual abuse case that became Clinton's first criminal defense case as a 27-year-old lawyer has only spoken to the media once since her attack, a contested, short interaction with a reporter in 2008, during Clinton's last presidential campaign run. Now 52, she wants to speak out after hearing Clinton talk about her case on newly discovered audio recordings from the 1980s, unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon and made public this week.

In a long, emotional interview with The Daily Beast, she accused Clinton of intentionally lying about her in court documents, going to extraordinary lengths to discredit evidence of the rape, and later callously acknowledging and laughing about her attackers' guilt on the recordings.

"Hillary Clinton took me through Hell," the victim said. The Daily Beast agreed to withhold her name out of concern for her privacy as a victim of sexual assault.

The victim said if she saw Clinton today, she would call her out for what she sees as the hypocrisy of Clinton's current campaign to fight for women's rights compared to her actions regarding this rape case so long ago.

"I would say [to Clinton], 'You took a case of mine in '75, you lied on me... I realize the truth now, the heart of what you've done to me. And you are supposed to be for women? You call that [being] for women, what you done to me? And I hear you on tape laughing."

The victim's allegation that Clinton smeared her following her rape is based on a May 1975 court affidavit written by Clinton on behalf of Thomas Alfred Taylor, one of the two alleged attackers, whom Clinton agreed to defend after being asked by the prosecutor. Taylor had specifically requested a female attorney.

Comment: What more character reference does one need regarding Hillary Rodham Clinton? A stone-hearted, terminally ambitious psychopath who cared (and cares) nothing for the fellow creatures she rolls over on her way to power. The fact that this child's life was destroyed didn't faze her at all. All that mattered was a chalk in the win column for her. She and Slick Willy are a match made in hell.

Moscow regrets that EU countries and the United States did not support the statement initiated by Russia in the U.N. Human Rights Council for putting an end to the violence in Syria, the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday, June 21.

"On June 20, a statement was made in the U.N. Human Rights Council on Russia's initiative in support of local reconciliations in Syria. This document was supported by 15 countries: Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, China, Cuba, Ecuador, India, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Tajikistan, South Africa, and Venezuela," the ministry said.

"The statement stresses that local ceasefire agreements in Syria have helped save lives, have had a positive effect on the human rights situation and have made it possible to deliver humanitarian aid to peaceful people in conflict-torn areas and allowed internally displaced persons and refugees to return home," the ministry said.

A group of Americans, who observed the Syrian presidential election first hand, reported at the United Nations on what they witnessed.~ As a group, they described the election in Syria as successful, free and transparent.~ They also called for an end to foreign support for anti-Damascus mercenary terrorist.

The Syrian Mission to the United Nations convened a press conference featuring people from the US who observed the recent elections.

Five minutes into the opening comments of Syrian Ambassador Bashar Al-Jaafari, the UN webcast cut off. The thousands of journalists, political analysts, and others who view UN webcasts each day from all over the world were denied the ability to watch the press conference, and hear what was said.

This is not the first time this has happened when Bashar Jaafari is speaking. This occurred on June 7th earlier this year, and on numerous occasions throughout 2013. Reporters at Inner City Press reported that this is not accidental, but was ordered by Michele DuBach, Acting Deputy Director-News & Media Operations.

WikiLeaks published a previously tightly-held and secretive draft of a trade document on Thursday that, if enacted, would give the world's financial powers an even more dominant position to control the global economy by avoiding regulations and public accountability.

Known as a Trade in Services Agreement (TISA), the draft represents the negotiating positions of the U.S. and E.U. and lays out the deregulatory strategies championed by some of the world's largest banks and investment firms.

According to WikiLeaks:

Despite the failures in financial regulation evident during the 2007-2008 Global Financial Crisis and calls for improvement of relevant regulatory structures, proponents of TISA aim to further deregulate global financial services markets. The draft Financial Services Annex sets rules which would assist the expansion of financial multi-nationals - mainly headquartered in New York, London, Paris and Frankfurt - into other nations by preventing regulatory barriers. The leaked draft also shows that the US is particularly keen on boosting cross-border data flow, which would allow uninhibited exchange of personal and financial data.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken by phone to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, expressing Moscow's support for his action against the militant offensive.

The Kremlin said in a statement that al-Maliki informed Putin on Friday about his government's steps to combat the "terrorist groups in the north of the country." It added that the insurgency threatens security of the entire region.

Putin confirmed Russia's "full support for the Iraqi government's action to quickly free the territory of the republic from terrorists," the Kremlin said, adding that Putin and al-Maliki also discussed bilateral cooperation.

Putin's expression of support for the embattled Iraqi prime minister comes as al-Maliki's rivals have mounted a campaign to force him out of office, with some angling for support from Western backers and regional heavyweights.

Dr. Baran Yilmaz, a specialist in the ''Medical Park'' hospital in the Turkish city of Gaziantep confirmed the information regarding the existence of many cases of congenital diseases among terrorist organization members whom are being admitted in Turkish hospitals near the border with Syria.

According to Dr. Yilmaz report which he presented to the hospital administration; in the past four days, it became clear through the meticulous medical examination that around 70% of Islamists who fight in Syria and northern Iraq are diagnosed with sexually transmitted diseases due unsafe sexual intercourses, and in accordance with the results of the medical tests, approximately 30% of them are infected with HIV.

Dr. Yilmaz asked the hospital administration to impose more stringent quarantine measures up on those radical terrorist whom have been diagnosed with HIV, and also requested the hospital officials to not receive further numbers of the injured terrorists in the hospital for fear of an epidemic disaster.

While unmanned drones have become a popular weapon of choice during the United States' wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, a new report reveals that hundreds of them have been involved in major accidents around the world.

Following an investigation into more than 50,000 pages of federal and military records, the Washington Post found that more than 400 large American drones have crashed since 2001, with almost half of the accidents each causing millions of dollars in damages.

The news also highlights the potential risks of opening up American airspace to commercial, police, and military drone use, as the Federal Aviation Administration plans to in 2015. The government has argued its testing sites will allow for the safe use of domestic drones, particularly since warzone conditions won't be replicated on American soil, but the recent data shows there are still significant hurdles to overcome.

According to the Washington Post, no one has died as a result of a drone accident, but many times the disaster was avoided simply by chance or a difference of a few feet. The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have crashed into homes, farms, roads, and even, in one case, an Air Force plane in midair.

Through various Freedom of Information Act requests, it was revealed that the military classifies its drone accidents in two different categories: Class A and B. Class A is made up of 194 drone accidents, each of which either destroyed the aerial vehicle involved or resulted in at least $2 million in damage. More than half of these accidents took place in Afghanistan and Iraq, but nearly 25 percent were in the US.

It is a competition in credit creation to buy foreign resources, real estate, public and privatized infrastructure, bonds and corporate stock ownership. Who needs an army when you can obtain the usual objective (monetary wealth and asset appropriation) simply by financial means?

When the US Federal Reserve bought an 80% stake in American International Group (AIG) in September 2008, the unprecedented $85 billion outlay was justified as necessary to bail out the world's largest insurance company. Today, however, central banks are on a global corporate buying spree not to bail out bankrupt corporations but simply as an investment, to compensate for the loss of bond income due to record-low interest rates. Indeed, central banks have become some of the world's largest stock investors.

This is a rather alarming development. Central banks have the power to create national currencies with accounting entries, and they are traditionally very secretive. We are not allowed to peer into their books. It took a major lawsuit by Reuters and a congressional investigation to get the Fed to reveal the $16-plus trillion in loans it made to bail out giant banks and corporations after 2008.

Another deeply troubling story about the failure of our government leaders to protect Americans from the consequences of fracking is coming out of Pennsylvania. A blistering investigation from StateImpact Pennsylvania reports that two retired employees of the Pennsylvania Department of Health were instructed by their bosses to systematically ignore residents who reported health concerns they thought were related to natural gas development. The retirees claim they were ordered not to take or return calls on fracking-related health reports and were barred from attending community meetings on the topic without permission.

Fracking-related pollution has been linked to a wide range of health concerns around the country - including respiratory and neurological problems, birth defects, and cancer. People in Pennsylvania and in fracking communities all around the country have reported a wide range of health issues when fracking comes to town - rashes, respiratory problems, nose bleeds, headaches. The fact that the state health department - the state officials tasked with safeguarding public health - not only failed to investigate reports, but were directed to ignore them, is inexcusable.

This is one of the most troubling - but unfortunately, not surprising - examples of how our leaders at the state and federal levels have been failing to put the health of Americans over profits for powerful oil and gas interests. And if it was happening here unreported for so long, how are we to know it's not happening in other states?

Our federal leaders have let the American people down as well. EPA dropped an investigation into drinking water contamination in Dimock, PA - as well as in Texas and Wyoming - without sufficient explanation, despite evidence of lingering fracking-related contamination and health concerns.

Avoiding investigation of health complaints provides enough cover for frackers to continue claiming there's "no proof" of health impacts. This is backwards. It's the responsibility of our public officials to act in the public interest - not to benefit the oil and gas industry's bottom line.
