When "our guys" join forces: US-backed neo-Nazi Ukrainian group Azov sports brand new ISIS headbands

isis'
Psychopaths unite! Our inside sources in Donbass managed to tape the phone conversation that led to this match made in heaven:
Jihadi Jim: Hey Ned, I've been following your Instagram page, and you seem like a cool guy. Wanna meet up?

Nazi Ned: Depends... Do you like long walks on the beach?

Jihadi Jim: Yeah, but only if they end in a mass execution. Otherwise, what's the point, you know? I also like long, drawn-out torture sessions. And my favorite meal? Easy. Liver!!

Nazi Ned: No way! I love all those things!

Jihadi Jim: Seriously, dude? Like, what are the chances a heathen Nazi like you and a jihadi lion like me would have so much in common?

Nazi Ned: I know, right? Hey, you wouldn't happen to know my uncle Sam, would you?

Jihadi Jim: Know him? He calls me, like, every other day!

Nazi Ned: I think I found my soulmate!

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, released an incendiary cartoon comparing Saudi Arabia to Islamic State, after Riyadh carried out a death sentence against opposition Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.

The satirical picture showing Saudi and Islamic State executioners standing side-by-side, with English captions reading "Any differences?" was published on his official website on Saturday. Khamenei also released a statement on Sunday promising "divine" retribution against Sunni powerhouse Saudi Arabia - Iran's regional archrival.

Saudi Foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir
Saudi Arabia has cut diplomatic ties with Iran over the storming of its embassy in Tehran on Saturday. The move comes while relations between the regional rivals are plunging over the execution of a top Shiite cleric.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir demanded that the Iranian diplomatic mission and related entities leave the country within 48 hours.

He said Riyadh would not allow the Islamic Republic to undermine the Sunni kingdom's security.

Surreal: The West mourns death of Al Qaeda collaborator in Damascus airstrike

Zahran Alloush
© New Eastern Outlook
Jaysh al-Islam is a stalwart ally of US State Department-listed terrorist organization al-Nusra, though one would never suspect as much reading weepy Western eulogies over the terrorist organization leader's death. The commander of terrorist organization and Al Qaeda affiliate Jaysh al-Islam (the Army of Islam), "Sheikh" Zahran Alloush, was killed in a Syrian airstrike this week in the suburbs of Damascus.

In a surreal, coordinated propaganda campaign, the Western media sidestepped Alloush's praise of and coordination with US State Department-listed foreign terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra, previously known as Al Qaeda in Iraq - and indeed, the very terrorist organization that the so-called "Islamic State" (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) itself sprung up from.

The West itself has for years now, reported on Jaysh al-Islam's collaboration with Al Qaeda. A March 2013 Institute for the Study of War report authored by now disgraced "expert" Elizabeth O'Bagy - a paid lobbyist who in fact attempted to lie about the presence of "moderate Syrian opposition," titled, "The Free Syrian Army" (.pdf) would note regarding the terrorist organization that:
"Liwa al-Islam [now known as Jaysh al-Islam] is a driving force behind actions in Damascus, and is part of the current multilateral effort, codenamed "Operation Epic in the Capital of the Omayyads," to gain ground and prepare for later sustained efforts against regime forces in the city. Liwa al-Islam is known to cooperate with Jabhat Nusra and conduct joint operations."
Ironically, despite knowing the various affiliations "rebel groups" in Syria have with Al Qaeda, O'Bagy herself, along with the so-called Institute for the Study of War - an arms industry-funded think tank - have attempted to perpetuate Western support of these "rebel groups," which in turn have perpetuated the deadly conflict raging in Syria. The profitable war, and the US dominated MENA region that would form as a result of its successful execution, helps explain why the West is so interested in portraying terrorists as "moderates," and going as far as mourning the death of a terrorist leader who openly worked with and praised Al Qaeda.

Syria, Stalingrad, and the heroism of standing up to monsters

Syria in tatters
Day and night, for years, an overwhelming force has been battering this quiet nation, one of the cradles of human civilization.

Hundreds of thousands have died, and millions have been forced to flee abroad or have been internally displaced. In many cities and villages, not one house is left intact.

But Syria is, against all odds, still standing.

During the last 3 years I worked in almost all of Syria's perimeters, exposing the birth of ISIS in the NATO-run camps built in Turkey and Jordan. I worked in the occupied Golan Heights, and in Iraq. I also worked in Lebanon, a country now forced to host over 2 million (mostly Syrian) refugees.

The only reason why the West began its horrible destabilization campaign, was because it "could not tolerate" Syria's disobedience and the socialist nature of its state. In short, the way the Syrian establishment was putting the welfare of its people above the interests of multi-national corporations.

Egypt reinstated its ambassador in Israel after a three-year break in relations, as its campaign against Islamist militants in the Sinai peninsula continues adjacent to the Israeli-occupied Gaza Strip.

Israel has received its first ambassador from Egypt in over three years, local media reported on Sunday.

The previous ambassador was removed in 2012 by Egypt's then-President Muhammad Morsi, who took power after protests which brought down long-time leader Hosni Mubarak. Morsi removed the Egyptian ambassador in protest of an Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

"Ambassador Hazem Khairat landed in Israel last week and will take the position of the head the Egyptian Embassy in Tel Aviv," Aretz Sheva reported.

Black Friday: Russian sanctions against Turkey and Ukraine officially take effect on the first day of 2016

Russia has taken a series of restrictive measures against Ukraine and Turkey starting from Friday, the first day of 2016. Russian boycott of many Turkish agricultural products and other food officially came into force on Friday. The measures were adopted by Moscow in retaliation for Turkey's downing of a Russian Su-24 attack aircraft in November. According to a decree signed by Putin on November 28, Russia would stop importing a wide range of Turkish agricultural products including fruit and vegetables, salt, poultry products among others. While charter flights in both directions were banned, the visa-free travel regime between the two countries was suspended to "ensure national security of the Russian Federation from criminal and other illegal activities."

Russian companies will be banned from hiring Turkish citizens starting from Friday. A total of 53 entities have been exempted from the ban on hiring Turkish citizens. The exempted companies will, however, be prohibited from exceeding the total number of hired Turkish employees as of Dec. 31, 2015. Companies owned by Turkey or Turkish citizens are now also banned from providing services for state and municipal needs in Russia and participating in such sectors as construction, tourism, hotel business and lumber. 2016 could also put further strain on Russia-Ukraine ties.

Comment: One year ago seven EU countries supported the lifting of Western sanctions on Russia. Now the US demands Russia to lift its sanctions against Turkey.....While praising its own anti-Russian sanctions. Russia has every right to respond in kind.

Study proves Maidan massacre was carried out by current Ukrainian government

Maidan Ukraine
© Sputnik/ Andrey Stenin
Research conducted by the University of Ottawa on the Maidan "Snipers' massacre" of February 2014 has shown that the killings of protestors were organized by far right paramilitary groups and allied political parties, not the former government's Berkut riot police, as claimed by the current Kiev government and repeated by Western media.

A study of the February 20, 2014 "Snipers' massacre" in Kiev, where scores of protesters were killed by shots fired from surrounding buildings, has proved that it was carried out by Western-backed opposition groups.

The research found that the Berkut special police force, which was loyal to the Ukrainian government, was not responsible, contrary to the narrative which was created by the post-Maidan coup government in Kiev, and consequently accepted by Western governments and media.
