Puppet Masters
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that terror attacks have forced Moscow and Paris to unite efforts.
"We grieve with you over the losses that France suffered, these are major losses. According to the latest data, as far as I know, 130 people are confirmed dead and over are 350 injured. You know that Russia has suffered serious losses as a result of the heinous terrorist act against a civilian aircraft [in the Sinai Peninsula]. All this forces us to join efforts against a common evil," Putin said.
Russia and France became targets of terror attacks conducted by ISIL militants, who claimed responsibility for both the explosion aboard a Russian A321 passenger airliner on October 31 and the November 13 deadly terror attacks in Paris.
France calls for a broad and strong coalition in the fight against terrorism, Hollande said during a meeting with the Russian leader.
With the Turkish Air Force attack on the Russian plane in Syria instantly provoking a swelling response of debate and condolences from both Russian and foreign social media users, Turkish social media users naturally joined in. But in a surprising twist, many offered apologies to their northern neighbor, emphasizing that it is the Recep Erdogan government, not the Turkish people, who should be blamed for the attack.
Some users appealed directly to their Russian friends, using the Russian-language hashtag #StabInTheBack.
Would this "stab in the back by the accomplices of terrorists", as Putin stated it, trigger World War III?
Despite Turkey's insane act of war, Putin has no plans for starting a war against Turkey and its NATO accomplices.
No doubt Putin's decision not to retaliate with military force springs from political strategy.
Yet nevertheless, it can also be seen as a self-sacrificial act.
Putin and Russia have received a major blow and chosen to turn the other cheek. Not because Russia is weak, fearful or incapable of responding with deadly force. But Putin has chosen to defeat the greater evil of terrorism instead of taking revenge.
Putin now invites his foes to cooperate to defeat the menace of terrorism. This is similar to Christ enduring the pain and shame of the cross to save the world. Russia seems to follow the same path.
In late October an Iranian news agency, quoting a senior Iraqi intelligence officer, reported the capture of an Israeli army colonel, named Yusi Oulen Shahak, reportedly related to the ISIS Golani Battalion operating in Iraq in the Salahuddin front. In a statement to Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency a Commander of the Iraqi Army stated, "The security and popular forces have held captive an Israeli colonel." He added that the IDF colonel "had participated in the Takfiri ISIL group's terrorist operations." He said the colonel was arrested together with a number of ISIL or IS terrorists, giving the details: "The Israeli colonel's name is Yusi Oulen Shahak and is ranked colonel in Golani Brigade... with the security and military code of Re34356578765az231434."
Comment: Israel and Western powers have been creating, funding, directing, and fighting among terrorists for a long time. Its nothing new, but is a fact that rarely seems to make it into the Western media and to the awareness of most people. Or if it does, the implications are never explored. No surprise there. Perhaps that will now begin to change since these types of 'smoking guns' have never been better documented and more apparent.
Remember these British SAS guys - who were caught dressed as Arabs red-handedly inflicting violent chaos among the Iraqi population several years ago?
The terrorists hunting down the air navigator from the downed Su-24 in Syria were equipped with sophisticated direction finder equipment, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Thursday.
The rescue operation took 12 hours.
"As soon as our pilot was safe, this area was targeted by massive Russian airstrikes an artillery bombardment by Syrian government forces for a prolonged period of time. Terrorists and other 'mysterious' groups operating in this area have been eliminated."
Comment: Well done Russia and Syria!

Members of the Turkish air force conduct an aircraft exercise April 11, 2013, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
It was the Turkish government's actions in the immediate aftermath of the shoot-down that makes me now think that these guys were caught with their pants down.

French President Francois Hollande (L) welcomes Russia's President Vladimir Putin.
Despite strained relationships between Russia and the West, Hollande aims to secure Moscow's assistance in the fight against the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). It is the main concern for France after terror attacks in Paris on November 13 that left at least 130 dead and many more injured.
Earlier on Thursday, President Hollande said he hopes France will be able to join forces with Russia against the common threat. "I will say to Vladimir Putin we must act against ISIS altogether. We must deploy our forces to destroy them, and surely we must coordinate our efforts," he told press conference in Berlin after meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Comment: Smart man. With Putin decimating ISIS, those floundering U.S.-funded terrorists should change their name to WASWAS.
The Kremlin's press service has confirmed in a statement that "the leaders will discuss combatting the terror threat, including coordination in fight against Islamic State as well as some current international issues and bilateral ties."
The main option that will be reportedly discussed is to close the Syrian-Turkish border to stop the reinforcement of terrorists, a move proposed by Paris shortly after the downing of a Russian military jet by the Turkish Air Force.
"If another violation of our aerial border happens, we can respond in the same way," he said. "The plane was shot down within the rules of engagement announced earlier."
On Tuesday, a Turkish F-16 fighter jet fired at and downed a Russian warplane conducting a combat mission in Syria. Ankara maintains the Russian Su-24 bomber crossed the border and remained in Turkish airspace for 17 seconds.
Russia denies any violations. It also rejects Turkey's claims that its military repeatedly warned the pilots of the Russian jet before attacking it.
"We still haven't heard any apologies from the leadership of Turkey, nor have we heard any proposal to compensate damages or to hold those responsible for this heinous crimes to account," said Vladimir Putin during an official address in Moscow.
Erdogan rejected Moscow's grievances.
Comment: Ankara still wants to maintain ties? What kind of planet are these people living on?
"Today, in accordance with a decision by the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces, an S-400 air defense system was promptly delivered and deployed on combat duty at the Hmeymim air base in Syria," ministry's spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.
On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the Defense Ministry's request to deploy the S-400 Triumf (SA-21 Growler) at the airbase in order to protect Russia's Aerospace Forces operating in Syria.
The decision was made after Turkey's Air Force downed an Su-24 Fencer bomber operating in Syria against the Islamic State.
Comment: Note this is broadly announced so there won't be any misunderstandings of the purpose for the missile defense.

Comment: It seems the Paris attacks had the opposite effect of the goals of the PTB. They seem to have calculated that France would call upon NATO. Interesting that that didn't happen.
