Puppet Masters
Reps. Jim Banks and Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke up for women when they posted their belief that Levine is a "man," and that saying Levine is the "first female" to attain this post is actually a detriment for the furtherance of women's equal rights. These two reps who took up the charge to defend women against erasure are Republicans.
Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana was suspended for his tweet saying that "the title of first female four-star officer gets taken by a man." If he had said "biological male," it is likely that this would not have been censored by Twitter, but because the words "man" and "woman" are now considered to be more about feelings than biology, Banks was in violation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin • Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi, Russia, October 21, 2021
As Putin ages he appears to be drawn increasingly to themes of history and philosophy, and so he discussed issues related to the history of the Great Patriotic War (World War II), noting his ongoing interest and occasional occupation with historical documents. Regarding philosophy, he repeated his appreciation of early 20th century political philosopher Ivan Ilyin, whose work he keeps on a bookshelf and, he says, he often picks up and reads. Some Western propagandists have done their best to paint Ilyin as a 'fascist' so they can taint Putin to the hilt, as is the wont of much of Western 'thought' about Russia today. Ilyin was opposed to both fascist and communist totalitarianism and supported what he thought of as a Russian - that is, a controlled - form of constitutional republic that would have been more limited than Western models. His first claim to fame was a balanced refutation of Lev Tolstoy's radical pacifism.
A bipartisan group of United States lawmakers demanded answers regarding a report that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases used taxpayer money to fund "cruel" and "costly" experiments on dogs as young as six months old. The letter regarding possible animal abuse was sent to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
"We write with grave concerns about reports of costly, cruel, and unnecessary taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs commissioned by National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases," the bipartisan letter signed by 24 lawmakers, spearheaded by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), reads.
The letter cites a damning report from the White Coat Waste Project that claims that 44 beagle puppies — all between the ages of six and eight months old — were subjected to "commissioned tests" for a drug. The experiments involved "injecting and force-feeding the puppies an experimental drug for several weeks, before killing and dissecting them."
Comment: Fauci was being called on this three months ago. Why is the story only gaining traction now? Is he being shoved out in the most humiliating manner possible? Remember, people didn't truly get riled up about the botched Afghanistan withdrawal until stories of military dogs being left behind surfaced.

A smartphone with the website of Israel's NSO Group, creator of the Pegasus hacking tool
Hubbard, a reporter covering the Middle East, wrote on Sunday that a hacking attempt was first made on his phone in 2018, when he received a "suspicious" Arabic language text message inviting him to a protest outside the Saudi embassy in Washington, DC. A similar message followed, and digital rights group CitizenLab told Hubbard both messages originated from servers that had previously been used to target Saudi activists.
Two more attempts followed in 2020 and 2021, but they were so-called 'zero-click' exploits, meaning Hubbard would not have had to click on any links or messages to allow the hackers into his phone. These attempts were successful, and once inside Hubbard's smartphone, the hackers were able to view all its contents, surreptitiously activate his microphone and camera, and delete traces of their previous hacks.

We are now almost two years into our great transition, and although there's still a very long way to go, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your help in allowing the project to run so smooth thus far, and to encourage you to allow us to continue making progress.
We must begin by saying how very pleased we have been by the levels of restraint shown. Given the nature of the plan, we naturally factored in the potential for high levels of civil unrest, but we have been surprised — pleasantly surprised it must be said — by the general absence of turmoil. Yes, there have been a few outbreaks of late, and they have meant we needed to take appropriate steps — for the good of humanity — to ensure that such disquiet is not broadcast around the world. But by and large you have got on with your thing — whatever things it is that you do — which has allowed us to get on with the important business of the day, largely unhindered and with extraordinarily little fuss.
Even more pleasing than the restraint, however, has been the exceptional levels of compliance and acceptance of restrictions which — speaking candidly — we had some reason to doubt we'd be able to pull off, such were their nature. Indeed, when we ordered your governments to implement the mass quarantining of millions of healthy people for the first time in history; the wearing of bits of cloth over your faces; and the entire human race to be injected with a new technology gene therapy which had never even been used in a vaccine, nor had any long-term safety trials, there was a real possibility that you'd smell a rat and simply refuse to comply. But thanks to our colleagues in the behavioural science teams across the world, and to you for so placidly and willingly going along with their messaging, it has all gone off far smoother than we could ever have imagined.
Also, what is the purpose or substance behind 'Build Back Better'? Why did (mostly Western) leaders start spouting it, and could it have anything to do with China's 'One Belt One Road' masterplan?
Finally, what is up with so many of those who have taken the shot being so cruel towards those who haven't? They're protected against the 'rona now, so... what is REALLY motivating them to pressure others into getting it?

In a move that, in a way, resembles Google's big corporate re-brand to 'Alphabet' in 2015 (and also, in a way, the defense contractor formerly known as Blackwater's numerous name changes over the years to help move past reputational damage) the social media behemoth has decided to 'rebrand' and change its official corporate name from 'Facebook' to, well, something having to do with "the Metaverse."

Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki speaks during a news conference in Budapest, Hungary, on Oct. 12, 2021.
Arriving at a summit of the 27-member bloc, Morawiecki said that Poland "was as faithful to the rule of law as others and as the EU institutions are." He added, "Some EU institutions assume the right to decide on issues to which they have not been entitled to decide. They assume competencies which have not been handed over to them in the treaties."
Morawiecki said that EU laws maintain supremacy over national laws on matters transferred to the EU. "We don't agree to the constantly broadening range of competencies but we will, of course, talk about it."

The Department of Homeland Security is building a security fence around President Biden's Rehoboth, Delaware, home.
The southern border with Mexico is seeing the highest levels of illegal border crossings in 35 years, but the Department of Homeland Security has found one access point it can shore up — doling out $455,000 to a Delaware construction company for a fence around President Biden's "Summer White House."
In September, the department awarded a contract of $456,548 to Turnstone Holdings LLC for "PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SECURITY FENCING AT 32 FARVIEW, REHOBOTH DELAWARE," according to USAspending.gov, an online database tracking federal government spending.

These reductionist labels stick. They stick because regime change-pushing media outlets repeat them ad nauseam until they are absorbed into our psyche as truths.
"The interventionist war is bad but Syria is still "at fault" because The Guardian or CNN say so" is a paraphrase of the statements of many geopolitical commentators, even those allegedly onside with exposing the UK/US-led regime-change war in Syria.
