Israel is 'anchor and foundation for democracy in the region' - Says Biden's pick for sec of state Tony Blinken

Antony Blinken

Antony Blinken addressing American Jewish Committee in June 2015 when he was deputy secretary of state.
Tony Blinken is Joe Biden's choice to be secretary of state and he brings long loyalty to Biden to the job as well as a highly polished internationalism, which entails active engagement with allies, and yes, militarism. Biden supported the Iraq war and the Yemen slaughter with Blinken huddled at his side (Blinken gets low grades from progressive realists on military restraint and cognitive empathy, and not learning from mistakes).

The 58-year-old former deputy secretary of state is nothing if not smooth. Get ready for catch phrases like "Indo Pacific" and "with us on the takeoff and on the landing too." His big theme is that if the U.S. isn't runnin the world, someone else will. On trade alliances:
We have a choice to make. If we're not engaged in these efforts, then someone else is likely to be in our place. And so it makes a big difference to the United States if we are helping to shape the rules that govern trade.

Comment: Blinken's resume and political/psychological profile further fleshed out:
Tony Blinken will become Secretary of State. (It was probably thought to be too hard to get Senate confirmation for the similar bad Susan Rice.) In 2013 the Washington Post described his high flying pedigree:
Blinken is deputy national security adviser to President Obama, who has also invoked the Holocaust as his administration wrestles, often painfully, with how to respond to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's alleged use of chemical weapons. One of the government's key players in drafting Syria policy, the 51-year-old Blinken has Clinton administration credentials and deep ties to Vice President Biden and the foreign policy and national security establishment in Washington. He has drawn attention in Situation Room photos, including the iconic one during the May 2011 raid of Osama bin Laden's compound, for his stylishly wavy salt-and-pepper hair. But what sets him apart from the other intellectual powerhouses in the inner sanctum is a life story that reads like a Jewish high-society screenplay that the onetime aspiring film producer may have once dreamed of making. There's his father, a giant in venture capital; his mother, the arts patron; and his stepfather, who survived the Holocaust to become of one of the most influential lawyers on the global stage. It is a bildungsroman for young Blinken — playing in a Parisian jazz band, debating politics with statesmen — with a supporting cast of characters that includes, among others, Leonard Bernstein, John Lennon, Mark Rothko, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, Abel Ferrara and Christo.
The man is a war mongering psycho:
Blinken surprised some in the Situation Room by breaking with Biden to support military action in Libya, administration officials said, and he advocated for American action in Syria after Obama's reelection. These sources said that Blinken was less enthusiastic than Biden about Obama's decision to seek congressional approval for a strike in Syria, but is now — perhaps out of necessity — onboard and a backer of diplomatic negotiations with Russia. While less of an ideologue than Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (a job for which he was considered), he not surprisingly shares her belief that global powers such as the United States have a "responsibility to protect" against atrocities.
He has since shown no remorse about those foreign policy failures:
Blinken maintains that the failure of U.S. policy in Syria was that our government did not employ enough force. He stands by the false argument that Biden's vote to authorize the invasion of Iraq was a "vote for tough diplomacy." He was reportedly in favor of the Libyan intervention, which Biden opposed, and he was initially a defender and advocate for U.S. support for the Saudi coalition war on Yemen. In short, Blinken has agreed with some of the biggest foreign policy mistakes that Biden and Obama made, and he has tended to be more of an interventionist than both of them.
And here are a few other odds and ends that help round out the picture of this neocon/neoliberal walking and talking catastrophe named Tony Blinken:

Which is another interesting dimension to this swamp creature:
[...] But perhaps one of his most interesting picks is his long time aide, Antony Blinken.

Why is Blinken so interesting? Because he met with Hunter Biden to give "advice" while Hunter was on the board of Burisma, Joe was the point man on Ukraine and he, Blinken, was deputy Secretary of State in the State Department under Barack Obama.

From Fox News:
Records show that the younger Biden also had ties to Blinken, having scheduled meetings with him while he was on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma and Blinken was deputy secretary of state.

"Have a few minutes next week to grab a cup of coffee? I know you are impossibly busy, but would like to get your advice on a couple of things," Hunter Biden said in a May 22, 2015 email to Blinken that the State Department released in 2019, pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request.

"Absolutely," Blinken replied. Several emails followed discussing logistics. A separate email from Blinken's assistant on May 27, 2015, listed his schedule for that day. It included a meeting with Hunter Biden set for 3:30 p.m.
Record also indicate they met again in July 2015.

Interesting given that Joe Biden said he never talked about his son's business with him, right?

But also remember how the Biden talking point was that the prosecutor Joe Biden got fired wasn't investigating Burisma and that's why he got fired because he was corrupt?

Of course that wasn't true. Shokin actually raided the home of the Burisma founder on February 2, 2016 and seized property. Sure does sound like an investigation, right? The raid was announced in the Kyiv Post on February 4. So I'm sure it was just coincidence that on February 4, Hunter Biden started following Tony Blinken on Twitter. I'm sure it had nothing to do with any raid.

[...]

Then the prosecutor was fired in March. Funny the timing of all that, isn't it?

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had demanded answers in the past about these meetings. It's not clear that they ever got any real answers from the State Department as to their questions.

So perhaps it's not surprising that suddenly we see Blinken in line for this top post. Knowledge is power, is it not?
So its further clear what kind of administration Biden is forming along with slime Blinken...

2 week quarantine for Australians returning to country if they refuse Covid-19 vaccine

Scott Morrison has suggested Australians who refuse to get a Covid-19 vaccine will be forced to quarantine for two weeks when they enter. Pictured: Passengers arrive in Melbourne
Scott Morrison has revealed Australians who refuse to get a Covid-19 vaccine could be forced to quarantine for two weeks when they enter the country unless they have a 'genuine medical reason' not to get the jab.

Comment: "Forced." MAKE us...

The prime minister has previously said a vaccine, which is expected to roll out in March, will be optional but the government will find ways to encourage people to take it.

Qantas boss Alan Joyce sparked anger from anti-vaxxers and vaccine skeptics on Sunday when he said his airline may ban people who have not taken the jab from international flights.

Comment: One definition of fascism is when state and business conspire to obtain absolute authority over the lives of citizens.

Comment: The Daily Mail has a poll running and the majority of Australians do not want the Covid-19 vaccine and so we can expect the government to come up with ever more ways to destroy their lives in until they comply:
Would you take a coronavirus vaccine rolled out in Australia?
  • Yes - 38% 3,172 votes
  • No - 54% 4,578 votes
  • Undecided - 8% 678 votes
For now, people can still tell them 'sure I'll self-isolate/quarantine', then just go about their business however they see fit.

Majority of Republicans would support Trump as a 2024 Candidate

President Donald Trump
According to a new national tracking poll by Morning Consult and Politico, Donald Trump will continue to have a powerful platform with the GOP base even after he leaves office.

The Nov. 21-23 survey collected data among 669 Republicans and 1,990 registered voters overall and found that he will most likely continue to have immense influence over the Republican Party from outside the government.

Comment: Trump will only be forced to be working 'outside' government if his 2020 win and the votes of the majority of Americans are stolen by the deep state, aided by their pawns in the mainstream media.

Trump is also the favored Republican candidate for a 2024 run according to a hypothetical test of 14 potential candidates. Trump received 53% of support among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. Vice President Mike Pence came in second at 12% support. Donald Trump Jr. got the third-highest support at 8%, while other Republican figures, including Sen. Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz, Mitt Romney and Rick Scott, and Nikki Haley each received less than 5% support.

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown urges people to call cops on neighbors over any Thanksgiving lockdown 'violations'

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown
Oregon Gov. Kate Brown is urging residents to rat out their neighbors who break COVID-19 restrictions by having too many guests over on Thanksgiving.

Brown recently limited the number of people allowed in a private home to six as part of a two-week "freeze" for the entire state to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Oregon has more than 66,000 reported cases in the state, according to The Oregonian.

Comment: Clearly the mortality rate isn't newsworthy otherwise they'd be pushing those figures. And it's highly likely that the vast majority of the claimed 'cases' are asymptomatic.

Trump blasts "world's most overrated general" after Mattis urges Biden to "eliminate America first" policy

James Mattis
As Summit News' Steve Watson detailed earlier, globalist general James Mattis has called on Joe Biden to 'eliminate' the America first policy instituted by President Trump where foreign policy is concerned, claiming that it has 'damaged' US national security.

Mattis, who served as Secretary of Defense under Trump from 2017 until last year, is still annoyed that Trump refused to carry on the endless war policy in the middle east, instead ordering troop drawdowns.

In an op-ed published by Foreign Affairs, Mattis writes that "The United States today is undermining the foundations of an international order manifestly advantageous to U.S. interests, reflecting a basic ignorance of the extent to which both robust alliances and international institutions provide vital strategic depth."
"In practice, "America first" has meant "America alone." That has damaged the country's ability to address problems before they reach U.S. territory and has thus compounded the danger emergent threats pose," Mattis also claims.

Biden considering torture apologist Mike Morell to run CIA

President-elect Joe Biden is strongly considering Mike Morell, the former acting director of the Central Intelligence Agency, to run the CIA, according to four individuals familiar with the matter. But those familiar with the process say that other candidates are still in the mix for the position of the nation's top spy chief.

Morell served as deputy CIA director for three years under President Barack Obama and also worked as acting director of the agency twice. According to three of the four sources familiar with the matter, the president-elect was considering both Morell and Avril Haines, another former deputy CIA director, for the position. But in an announcement Monday afternoon, Biden picked Haines, the former deputy director for the CIA and deputy national security adviser under Obama, to become director of national intelligence.

Two of the aforementioned sources said that Biden is also considering Tom Donilon for the post. Donilon served as Obama's national security adviser and has deep roots in Bidenworld. His brother, Mike Donilon, has already been tapped as a White House senior adviser for the president-elect.

Democratic Rep. Richmond: House losses stemmed from Trump increasing voter turnout:

Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.)

Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.)
The losses in the House of Representatives the Democrats suffered in the Nov. 3 election stemmed from President Donald Trump increasing voter turnout, Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.) said on Sunday.

"It was a rough and tough election and I will say this, and I've gone back and looked at numbers and other things, Donald Trump increasing Republican turnout made a big deal," said Richmond, national co-chair for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's campaign.

The majority of polls suggested Democrats would add to their majority in the House but instead Republicans have flipped 12 seats and gained a net of nine, as of current projected or certified results.

House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Sunday that the election showed American voters rejecting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) "and the Democrat socialist policy."

Minnesota lawmakers file lawsuit to stop certification of election results

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon speaks during a test of voting machines in St. Louis Park, Minn., on Oct. 23, 2018.
Lawmakers in Minnesota on Monday filed a lawsuit to halt the certification of election results, alleging wrongdoing by Secretary of State Steve Simon.

Simon, a Democrat, "illegally altered Minnesota's election laws," state Republican Reps. Steve Drazkowski, Tim Miller, and Jeremy Munson said in a joint statement.

"His office issued unlawful consent decrees that greatly affected the rules that govern absentee ballots and who can assist people at the polls. To circumvent the Minnesota Legislature and unilaterally change election law is entirely unconstitutional. This abuse of power must be addressed," they added.

The lawmakers are part of the New House Republican Caucus.

Jose Jimenez, co-founder of the MN Election Integrity Team, joined in the filing of the suit with the Minnesota Supreme Court, requesting a temporary restraining order be issued to stop the certification.

A Tory MP has called for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Home Secretary Priti Patel to intervene after an "elderly anti-lockdown" protester was forcefully arrested outside the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday.

Addressing the Commons shortly after the arrest, Charles Walker slammed the government, saying he had personally witnessed an elderly lady being hauled "spread-eagle" into a police van, and branding the incident a "disgrace, un-British and unconstitutional."

In footage posted to social media, the Conservative MP for Broxbourne could be seen angrily addressing a group of officers in Westminster, as they appeared to detain a woman who had been sitting on the road in protest.

Comment: The government's tyrannical lockdown orders are corrupting the very professions - and people - that vowed to ensure the health and safety of citizens:

GSA chief informs 'President-elect' Biden that formal transition process can begin

emily murphy

GSA Administrator Emily Murphy, shown here at a 2018 congressional hearing, on Nov. 23 formally ascertained Joe Biden to be the apparent winner of the 2020 presidential election.
U.S. General Services Administration chief Emily Murphy informed President-elect Joe Biden on Monday that her agency has formally ascertained him as the apparent winner of the 2020 presidential election and would move ahead with transition proceedings.

The letter effectively ends a weeks-long standoff in which the Biden transition team accused Murphy and her agency of withholding critical transition resources needed for a smooth transfer of power. President Trump has yet to concede the 2020 election.

"Please know that I came to my decision independently, based on the law and available facts," Murphy said in a letter to Biden. "I was never directly or indirectly pressured by any Executive Branch official — including those who work at the White House or GSA — with regard to the substance or timing of my decision. To be clear, I did not receive any direction to delay my determination."

The GSA and Murphy have faced intense bipartisan criticism in recent weeks over the decision to hold off on recognizing Biden as president-elect. The Biden transition team had threatened legal action, accusing the GSA of threatening national security and hampering preparations to combat the coronavirus pandemic by failing to provide support for the incoming administration.

Murphy said her decision was based on "recent developments involving legal challenges and certifications of election results." Earlier Monday, Michigan voted to certify its election results and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court threw out a Trump campaign challenge that sought to invalidate thousands of absentee ballots in Allegheny County.

Comment: Here's the letter, which lists the types of threats Murphy has been receiving from unhinged Democrats:

Speaking of threats, the sole MI Board of Canvassers to vote against certification says he and his family received death threats:
There were, according to his interview with Newsmax, "a whole string of anonymous calls threatening my family and me, and 20 to 30 protesters on my front lawn Saturday night." He said that overall, more than 40 phone calls and 7,000 emails were sent to him, calling on — and threatening — him to certify the result that favors Biden.

The campaign was "most likely orchestrated by the state Democratic Party and labor unions," he said. "The [threats] that mentioned my wife and children or said 'we know where you live' I turned over to the police."
The Pentagon will now begin providing support for the transition, and Biden will receive briefings and funding.

But Trump is not conceding. The election was clearly stolen, and he will not concede without his day in court.

But over in La La Land, where corrupt Democrats apparently don't cheat, the hallucinations are proceeding apace. CNN pundit Douglas Brinkley is fantasizing that Trump will form a "shadow government" come January.

Guys like Brinkley are either so inured in hysterical, conversive thinking that they cannot see reality, or are simply lying. No one with any sense thinks Biden won the election legitimately. But hey, TDS will do that to you.
