Have you ever been left with the impression after a thorough poking, prodding and testicular cupping at the doctor's office that perhaps they don't always know what's best? The thought is usually pushed from your mind, after all these people had to go through years of school and thousands of dollars of their wealthy parents' money to get where they are! If you can't trust them about your health, who can you trust?
Here's the thing though, doctors have a long storied background of not knowing what the hell they're doing. History is filled with stories of hilarious medical ineptitude, and in all likeliness, today's medical practices will be similarly snorted at 100 years down the road. In other words, if you're looking to justify your medical phobia so you can rationalize not getting that ever-growing lump on your neck checked out, you're in the right place.

Despite the humorous flavor of the article, it is shocking to realize how the medical establishment and the pharmaceutical companies were - and still are! - taking advandage of their power and titles to rob people while causing them irreparable harm, or even death.

A big row has squawked into life in Greece, after a parrot called Coco was handed a £320 parking fine.Coco's owner runs a pet shop in the city of Patras, and every day he puts Coco's perch put into the street.
Coco loves to talk to people passing by, but his perch sits in the street in a parking spot, so under the rules of the city, the police have fined him.
Watching a coyote run toward a field with a big cat in its mouth was more than Jennifer Foster could take just two weeks after her husband died as a result of a freak accident.
Foster and her four adult children were driving home from a restaurant at about 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 15, when the car's headlights illuminated a coyote running toward a field on Rayshire Street in Thousand Oaks.
Until they noticed the cat in its mouth, they thought it was wonderful to see a wild animal on their street.

| Jackie York holds her 10-year-old cat Cosmo after the kitty's life was saved by a quick acting neighbor who jumped out of a moving car and ran after a coyote as it held the cat in its teeth. Cosmo had three puncture wounds in her neck. Now she is making a full recovery at home.
