In January 2020, the CEOs of the three companies that produce over 80 percent of voting machines in the U.S. - Election Systems & Software (ES&S), Dominion Voting Systems and Hart InterCivic - were grilled by members of Congress over the question of security at the ballot box. Perhaps it would surprise exactly nobody that the 90-minute discussion focused almost entirely on the possibility of foreign actors, specifically China and Russia, interfering in the U.S. election system. Within such a predictably narrow frame of reference - Russia! Russia! Russia! - it becomes much easier to eliminate the possibility that domestic actors may also be tempted to tamper with the vote. At the same time, Russia provides the perfect smokescreen in the event someone gets caught with their hand in the election cookie jar. But already I digress.

Joe Biden (right) and Greg Simon (left) during a meeting of the Cancer Moonshot Task Force in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building of the White House in Washington, DC in 2016.
The Biden Cancer Initiative was founded in 2017 by the former vice president and his wife Jill Biden to "develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes," according to its IRS mission statement. But it gave out no grants in its first two years, and spent millions on the salaries of former Washington DC aides it hired.
The charity took in $4,809,619 in contributions in fiscal years 2017 and 2018, and spent $3,070,301 on payroll in those two years. The group's president, Gregory Simon, raked in $429,850 in fiscal 2018 (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019), according to the charity's most recent federal tax filings.
Comment: Sounds about right for Creepy Joe.
Comment: Some corroborating evidence:
Fox News interview with Russ Ramsland on voting machine fraud:

Crowds gathered in Washington, DC on November 14, 2020 in support of President Trump's reelection.
The president and his motorcade drove past the supporters, some of them waving Trump flags and holding signs saying "Stop the Fraud" and "Best Prez Ever." The crowd chanted "Four More Years!" as Trump gave a thumbs up.
Trump hinted Friday on Twitter he may attend the rally, but his motorcade Saturday was headed to his Virginia golf course instead.
Comment: As teased, Trump did make an appearance at the rally, driving a motorcade through the cheering throng:
President Trump himself drove by the rally on Saturday morning, waving at the crowds from his presidential limousine as his supporters chanted "USA, USA."In turn, Trump gave his boosters a boost:
Trump tweeted on Friday that he may "stop by and say hello," praising the "tremendous support" from his base.
The rally's organizers hope to draw thousands of people to the capital, and video footage shared on social media showed miles-long convoys of pickup trucks en route to DC.
Several Republican lawmakers and a host of right-wing pundits and celebrities - including controversial talk show host Alex Jones - are due to speak at the event.
The rally was not without problems from Black Bloc and other anarchists:

People in Frederikshavn, North Jutland queue for coronavirus tests.
The new 'epidemic law' (epidemilov) would replace an emergency law passed in the spring which gave the government extended powers to intervene in society in order to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
As well as enforcing quarantine measures, the existing law empowers the authorities prohibit access to public institutions, supermarkets and shops, public and private nursing homes and hospitals, and also to impose restrictions on access to public transport.
Comment: This sets an extremely dangerous precedent because, as happened with the second lockdowns that began in one country but then, over just a few days, were rolled out throughout Europe, we can expect other governments to attempt to push through similar laws that drag us further down the road to a full blown dystopia. It's notable that numerous countries have already been enforcing certain measures in chosen areas with army troops:
- Army to carry out mass Covid-19 tests on children in Liverpool
- UK's NHS to enlist ARMY to vaccinate ENTIRE population with coronavirus vaccine, will do a 'dry run' with flu vaccine
- Madrid calls in the ARMY as Spain imposes regional lockdowns, mostly poorer areas

In making such a sweeping move, the judge, Clarence C. Newcomer of Federal District Court here, did for the Republicans what the election had not: enable them to regain control of the State Senate, which they lost two years ago.
Judge Newcomer ruled that the Democratic campaign of William G. Stinson had stolen the election from Bruce S. Marks in North Philadelphia's Second Senatorial District through an elaborate fraud in which hundreds of residents were encouraged to vote by absentee ballot even though they had no legal reason -- like a physical disability or a scheduled trip outside the city -- to do so.
In many instances, according to Republicans who testified during a four-day civil trial last week, Democratic campaign workers forged absentee ballots. On many of the ballots, they used the names of people who were living in Puerto Rico or serving time in prison, and in one case, the voter had been dead for some time.
"Substantial evidence was presented establishing massive absentee ballot fraud, deception, intimidation, harassment and forgery," Judge Newcomer wrote in a decision made public today.
The district, which includes white, black and Hispanic neighborhoods, is overwhelmingly Democratic by registration. Nonetheless, campaign workers testified that widespread voter apathy had prompted them to promote a "new way to vote" to insure a victory.
Since March 2020, the form of rule that has been systematically unfolding since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989/1990 has been fully in evidence: A transnationally operating oligarchic caste has taken over rule in the Western "democracies".
The mass base of "traditional" fascism was the enthusiastic petty bourgeoisie, incited by propaganda (1). The leader (state) promised the masses salvation from all evils. The leader carried the masses, the masses carried the leader (state) and the latter led them into war and ruin in the interest of (monopoly) capital.
In the course of recent decades, a transnational, well-connected caste has emerged, which no longer conducts its wars only outwardly, but has recognized civil societies as a whole as a threat to its power. Since March 2020, the centers of power have expanded their wars inwards in the name of the corona infection regime.
By transnational "elite" fascism I mean an alliance of transnational capitalist class, transnational power elite (2) with the transnational digital, military, intelligence, science and media complex and the governments as their executive committees. I refer to this conglomerate as the parasites of civil societies, which serve as their "host" bodies.

People cast their ballots at a polling location in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 13, 2020.
In a recent interview, FEC Chairman Trey Trainor said reports of fraud in some battleground states are credible "otherwise they would allow the [poll] observers to go in," referring to reports of some polling areas refusing to allow GOP observers to check on the process on Election Day and the days after.
"When you have claims of, you know, 10,000 people who don't live in the state of Nevada having voted in Nevada, you have the video ... they're (poll workers) either duplicating a spoiled ballot right there or they're in the process of just marking a ballot that came in blank for a voter," Trainor told Newsmax. "That's a process that needs to be observed by election observers."
In the interview, he agreed with Trump's campaign lawsuits, while saying that questionable actions by elections officials in several states could make the election illegitimate.
Trainor, an appointee of President Donald Trump, noted that state laws allow those observers to be there, and "if they're not," then it's an "illegitimate election."
The stay-at-home advisory, which is similar to lockdown restrictions in major cities that occurred towards the beginning of the pandemic, will take effect on Monday, November 16 at 6:00 am.
Comment: Because the first one obviously worked so well. Hey, maybe this one will work even better?
Under the new rules, residents are not allowed to have guests over to their homes, including family members that do not live with them. People are only allowed to leave their homes for "essential reasons," and the mayor says "traditional Thanksgiving plans" must be canceled.
Any events such as weddings and funerals will be limited to attendances of 10 people or less. These new restrictions will be in place for a minimum of 30 days, according to the mayor.
Comment: Minnesota's governor descended to previously unknown depths of absurd idiocy, urging people to stop singing, lest they kill someone.
Walz attempted to draw a hard distinction between "fun" vocalizations and everyday vocal drudgery, insisting that "the louder you speak, if you're singing, if you're playing darts standing next to someone in a crowded bar... it seems like these things shouldn't be as risky or elevated, but what we've seen is that they do do that."In contrast, Mississippi's governor has vowed to fight a six-week lockdown proposed by Biden's Covid adviser should it come to pass and Biden manages to successfully steal the election.
"It's certainly not our intention to demonize any industry or any activity," Walz said while doing exactly that. "It's simply important for us to understand...who spreads this thing." The governor announced a limit of 10 people on inside and outdoor gatherings alike during Thursday's press conference, explaining that "just because they're family and just because you know them" doesn't mean any group celebrating the winter holidays can dispense with social distancing and masks indoors. However, he has at the same time suggested enforcement will be based on voluntary compliance: "Obviously, on this issue, we're not going into someone's home and arresting them on Thanksgiving."
"We will certainly fight that if it becomes necessary," he said during the livestream. "We as a state are going to continue with our strategy," he said, insisting a strategy "targeted" at hotspots was the only way to avoid extensive collateral economic damage. "The people of Mississippi can't just go home, shut down their small businesses, shut down their restaurants, shut down their gyms for six weeks and just think that you can come back six weeks from now, flip a switch and everything's gonna be fine."Japan too, despite a surge in "cases," does not plan to institute another state of emergency.
Germany's health minister says it's still "too early" to tell how long the current "lockdown light" will last. Ireland is mulling a "staggered release" of lockdown measure before Christmas, conditional on "getting the numbers way down" - no acknowledgment that they were completely useless to begin with and there's nothing alarming about the current numbers.
Here's just one example of the cultural collateral damage of unscientific, useless lockdowns:
Vladimir Urin of the Bolshoi Theatre has told reporters that the historic institution, known across the world for ballet and dramatic arts, has lost around 1.2 billion rubles (around $15.5 million) during the coronavirus pandemic. He told Russia's Dozhd TV channel that "these income losses... until October amounted to about 50% of all income that we have."
The director of another famous Moscow theatre, the Lenkom's Mark Varshaver, has also spoken out on the situation facing the arts. Speaking to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, he said that Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina had committed to helping venues meet the shortfall.
"[Sergunina] said something extremely important for theaters: the Moscow government is issuing a subsidy that will fully cover theaters' losses, especially those related to the payment of wages and other issues. She also said that the directors of Moscow theaters may, at their discretion, not play the performance or postpone it depending on the situation and conditions of the theater," he added.
On Tuesday, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin brought forward a series of new measures aimed at limiting the spread of coronavirus. Among them were rules limiting audiences of theaters, cinemas and ballet performances to around 25 per cent of their usual capacity, to allow for social distancing.
