As Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine takes the lead, its Chief Medical Officer's recent promotion of 'gene-editing vaccines' comes to light

More and more frequently, government officials, political pundits and self-appointed "global health experts" like billionaire Bill Gates have been instructing the public that mass gatherings and any semblance of "normalcy" will not return until a vaccine for the novel coronavirus Covid-19 is created and subsequently distributed to the masses. In recent weeks, it has quickly become apparent that the leading Covid-19 vaccine candidate is the messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine being developed by Boston-based Moderna Inc.

Today, Moderna announced that its vaccine candidate, named mRNA-1273, "appeared to produce an immune response in eight people who received it." Moderna's response is odd given that the "study" in question is focused on safety and "is actually not designed to measure effectiveness of the vaccine," according to a report in TIME. Notably, none of the study's findings on vaccine safety were reported aside from claims it was "generally safe." It is also worth noting that this "safety-focused" study only began in March and thus, to date, represents only an examination of the vaccine's effects in the very short term.

Growing evidence for vitamin D deficiency affecting Covid-19 severity

The argument that vitamin D deficiency may contribute to more severe cases of Covid is gaining ground. It is now reaching the point where it is surprising that we are not hearing from leading medical officials and politicians that people should consider taking supplements to ensure they have sufficient vitamin D.

This is not the same as arguing that vitamin D is a magic bullet that will cure the disease. Vitamins are not medication, the taking of which will have positive effects on everybody. They are top-ups: things that hurt you when you don't have enough of them in your system but do no extra good when you have enough. Indeed, with many vitamins, including D, taking too much can be toxic.

However, it is true that many people are deficient in vitamin D, especially at the end of winter. That is because, uniquely, vitamin D is a substance manufactured by ultraviolet light falling on your skin. You can get some from fish and other foods, but not usually enough. So most people's vitamin D levels fall to a low point in February or March when the sun has been weak and its UV output especially so. Public health bodies have long advised people to supplement vitamin D in winter anyway.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has declared a state of emergency for one county after two dams breached on the same day, warning that downtown Midland could be under nine feet of water in just 12 hours as thousands evacuate.

Both the Edenville and Sanford dams near Midland breached on Tuesday after several days of heavy rainfall, sending a torrent of water downstream along the Tittabawassee River and prompting the governor to issue an evacuation order for the area's 10,000 or so residents.

"If you have not evacuated the area, do so now and get somewhere safe," Whitmer said in a statement, noting the state's National Guard had been activated and warning the city of Midland could be devastated by flooding as soon as Wednesday.

"This is unlike anything we've seen in Midland County. If you have a family member or loved one who lives in another part of the state, go there now."

This month a petition was drafted for the federal government to call on Congress to investigate the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for "medical malpractice & crimes against humanity."

"As we look at events surrounding the 'COVID-19 pandemic," the appeal reads, "various questions remain unanswered."

"On Oct. 18th of 2019, only weeks prior to ground zero being declared in Wuhan, China, two major events took place. One is 'Event 201,' the other is the 'Military World Games,' held in none other than Wuhan. Since then a worldwide push for vaccines & biometric tracking has been initiated."

Bill Gates is the world's largest vaccine producer and the single largest donor to WHO and the CDC Foundation. Those agencies are now marketing arms for his vaccine empire. In January 2019, Gates had WHO declare "vaccine hesitancy" the top "global health threat" (with Ebola, cancer, war, and drug-resistant pathogens), signaling a worldwide Pharma Gold Rush to mandate vaccines to all people.

Gates maxed-out in donations to Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff's political action committee (PAC). In February 2019, Schiff wrote to Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Pinterest, demanding they censor "vaccine misinformation," a term meaning all skepticism toward government and industry pronouncements about vaccine safety or efficacy - whether true or not. Schiff wrote:

"Vaccines are both effective and safe. There is no evidence to suggest that vaccines cause life-threatening or disabling disease."

This was misinformation. A year earlier, Schiff pushed a bill to hike the Vaccine Court admin budget to $11,200,000 to reduce vaccine injury backlogs. The court had already paid out $4 billion for vaccine deaths and disabilities.

Comment: No matter his ideas, wealth, clout and publicity, there is no doubt as to the outcome of Bill Gates' intentions regarding vaccines: it won't be to save humanity.

Psychotherapist says lockdown zealots are behaving like cult members

Psychotherapist Dr. Hugh Willbourn says lockdown zealots are displaying all the classic signs of cult members by doubling down on their beliefs despite having been proven wrong.

In an article on his website, Willbourn highlights the work of respected social psychologist Leon Festinger, who analyzed the beliefs of a UFO cult in the 1950's who believed that a flying saucer would rescue them from the apocalypse.

However, after the catastrophic earthquakes and floods they expected to hit the United States never arrived and their beliefs were totally disproved, "the cult members would become not less but more convinced of their beliefs."

Festinger identified five conditions that needed to be met in order for the cult members to double down on their beliefs and avoid cognitive dissonance.

1. There must be conviction
2. There must be commitment to this conviction
3. The conviction must be amenable to unequivocal disconfirmation
4. Such unequivocal disconfirmation must occur
5. Social support must be available subsequent to the disconfirmation.

"Festinger's five conditions and the behaviour of the cult believers correspond closely to the situation with Brexit, Climate Change and Covid-19: a prophecy is made, believers invest themselves, their time, money and prestige in it, the prophecy fails and the believers become more fervent," writes Willbourn.

Comment: These same lockdown zealots may have 'drama-junkie' personality traits that 'feed on' this autocratic opportunity.

These past few days have seen a violent worldwide volcanic uptick, sending us all further signs that the next Grand Solar Minimum is dawning.

HIMAWARI-8 (a Japanese weather satellite) recorded two HIGH-LEVEL eruptions on May 16, both occurring in Indonesia.

The first took place at Ibu -a relatively new volcano with only 3 notable eruptions; in 1911, 1998, and 2008- and was confirmed by the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin which warned of an ash plume rising to an estimated 45,000 ft (13.7 km).

The second high-level eruption took place just a few hours later at Semeru -a very active volcano with an eruptive history peppered with VEI 2s and 3s; the first coming in 1818, the most recent in 2014- and as with Ibu's, Semeru's eruption was picked up by both HIMAWARI-8 and the VAAC Darwin, with the latter confirming the generation of "a dark ash plume which reached an altitude of 46,000 ft (14 km)."

In addition, and as recently reported by VolcanoDiscovery.com, active lava flows remain active on the Semeru's southeast flank, currently about 4,921 ft (1.5 km) long (as of the morning of May 18).

Comment: It is likely that atmospheric dust loading from increased volcanic and comet activity is contributing to recent extreme hailstorms, the cooling effect of which causes ice crystals to form. See also:
