The Centers for Disease Control is about to get a new Oberstgesundheitsfuhrer - Dr. Erica Schwartz.

The Frau Docktor was a pusher of the drugs Trump continues to insist are "beautiful" and "saved millions of lives" when she was deputy surgeon general during Trump's first term.

"Her long track record of directly issuing rights-crushing civilian and military vaccine mandates, including mandating injection of smallpox, anthrax, and flu vaccines into U.S. Forces, and discipling those that refused, reflects she lacks the basic ethics and morals to lead the CDC," says attorney Aaron Siri who advocates for the vaccine-injured. "This agency does not need another cheerleader for industry; it needs a regulator over industry."

Well, that's about as likely to happen as those $5,000 DOGE rebate checks appearing in the mailbox.

Schwartz - who also worked for the United Health Care insurance mafia - has just been nominated by Trump to be in charge of the CDC - which means the CDC will (as always) be headed by a drug-pusher, the actual thing - because only the government can push things on people, since only the government has the legal power to do that.

It is a classic example of government misdirection to characterize the guy who offers to sell pot (or any other street drug) to people who are not forced to buy (much less use) the drugs on offer as a "pusher." Everyone who has tried pot or some other street drug knows the truth of this. The drugs are available. If you are interested, you can buy (and use) them.

If you aren't interested, you can just say no - without any repercussions, at least insofar as regards your job or your freedom to go out to eat or to travel.

government - which threatened employers if they didn't threaten employees - to take drugs that they were also forced to pay for (via taxes) which is something no street drug dealer has the power to do.

The distinction matters.

Anyhow, the Frau Docktor was a high-level drug pusher. So, of course, was Trump - his apologists' apologies to the contrary notwithstanding. These apologists say Trump didn't actually push the drugs; that they were merely made available. This is like saying the income tax is actually voluntary - and some say that, too. The military certainly - actually - did push the drugs onto the troops Trump pretends to love so much and the Frau Docktor was a part of that, as a senior officer with authority to order those in uniform to take the drugs, or else. The "or else" including being "separated" from the military - that is, canned.

"It was all about public health: prevention, vaccines, early detection. If we get that right, we change lives before illness ever begins." Note the royal we. The presumption to speak for us. The implicit arrogance to force things on us.

Now Trump has nominated the Frau Docktor to a position of greater authority, one that includes power over the rest of us, too. It ought to tell even the most apologetic defender of Trump all there is to know about Trump, at least as regards what went on under his authority during the first year of "COVID." Many want badly to believe he was just buffalo'd by malevolent forces - as opposed to being a malevolent force, himself. Well, judge for yourself. If you had been buffalo'd by a malicious mechanic who screwed up your car, would you bring your car back to that mechanic? Would you promote that mechanic to head mechanic, if you had the power to do that?

Trump just did.

"These Highly Respected Doctors of Medicine have the knowledge, experience, and TOP degrees to restore the GOLD STANDARD OF SCIENCE at the CDC, which was an absolute disaster focused on "mandates" under Sleepy Joe. Together, they will do a TREMENDOUS job leading the CDC as we continue to MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AND GREAT AGAIN!"

That's what he just said about Schwartz and lesser gesundheitsfuhrers just nominated to be in charge of us.

Note in particular the part about the GOLD STANDARD OF SCIENCE being "restored" at the CDC. It is not being "restored." It is being recycled. Another distinction that ought to matter.

He also disingenuously refers to "mandates" under "Sleep Joe" - as if the people in the military under Trump and the Frau Docktor were not also mandated to take the drugs being pushed on them. As if the entire country hadn't been effectively mandated to take them - or else.

Not one word of apology for any of that. Not from Trump. Not from the Frau Docktor. Just the opposite, in fact.

The Frau Docktor cannot, of course, be blamed for being nominated, nor for assuming the three pips and oak leaves of CDC Oberstgesundheitsfuhrer. But Trump can be blamed for appointing a known drug pusher to hold power to push drugs on us, again. We for our part ought to have seen this coming - much as so many of us did not want to see it. Expecting a drug pusher who remains unapologetic for having pushed drugs in the past to not endorse the pushing of drugs going forward is something like expecting a serially cheating spouse to not screw you over again, by screwing some other person.
